I think Inter Milan is going to try disabling Haaland for this match because they are aware of his powers and if they don't put Haaland under pressure one opportunity can be enough for him to change the game.

The final pits Manchester City against Inter Milan. The days and hours are ticking away till we find out who wins the UCL this season, a very rough season it is. Both clubs have what it takes to be crowned champions, only one club will emerged. City's forward, Erling Haaland, is a proactive player who knows exactly where to position himself for goals, consequently the Nerazzurri's priorities would be to restrain the Norway international and the engine room, Kelvin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva. Pep Guardiola has been here before, and losing again would be his primary dreaded in his coaching career.

Kevin De Bruyne will make the most impact for Manchester City in the match between Manchester City and Inter Milan. The Belgian star can make the difference at any time in the final match. Erling Haaland is good at scoring goals but Kevin De Bruyne is equally good at scoring and creating goals, his short shots from outside the D box towards the goal post are a terror for opposition goalkeepers. Every time Inter Milan take corners and fouls, Inter Milan will put themselves in danger because corner kicks and free kicks will be taken by Kevin De Bruyne and his free kicks and corner kicks will hopefully not lead to good results for Inter Milan. Of course, Inter Milan will have to plan separately for Kevin De Bruyne.

Agreed about focusing only on Haaland would be a wrong action. Real Madrid tried to do this but they weren't able to prevent Manchester City from scoring a lot of goals in the second leg anyway. Even in times Haaland got nice goal opportunities he also wasted them. But Manchester City have created such a strong team play that they can still destroy their opponents without Haaland's help.

But here in this finale I still expect Haaland to be much more effective. This is a very special game for him as well because of its being his first ever Champions League finale. Considering all of these things Inter's job will be very difficult here. They need to focus on extending the game to extra time or even penalty shootouts to increase their chance.
Yeah, lately everyone is saying that Haaland will destroy a team with his ambition to score goals. But I will focus more on the other two Manchester City players. The first is Bernardo Silva. We know his role is a creative midfielder, but unexpectedly he is capable of doing other things, such as being a shadow striker or a hole player. When he manages to score a goal there will be a very extraordinary game change for Manchester city.

The second is Ilkay Gundogan, we know lately when Haaland is having a hard time scoring goals, that's where Gundogan will become the Master Clutch for Manchester City and as a midfielder he is able to be the winner for Manchester City through his goals in the last few matches.

Yes it looks after their opponents are not much better than them. We know what Manchester City are capable of in these years, they are very good and in fact they are always improving every season. moreover their squad now looks evenly matched after they were able to get a very good striker, after previously they always played with false nines.
Even though their opponents are not much better than them (Manchester City), in the case of this final match Manchester City must also try to perform as well as possible and must also be able to close the gaps for their opponents so that no attacks can harm Manchester City. Because Inter Milan will also try to perform well in the final, moreover Inter Milan is also very aware that he is no better than the opponents they will face in tomorrow's final.

Keeping Haaland tight will not be enough to silence the Man City attack. Because Man City's forward players actually have almost even skills, that is, they can always endanger the opponent's defense. Even if Inter Milan focuses too much on Haaland, Inter Milan's fate could be the same as what happened to Real Madrid in the semi-finals.

If the Inter Milan defense keeps their focus mainly on Haaland, then I think they would be making a big mistake. They might focus mainly on Haaland and forget other players are equally as dangerous. Manchester City has capable midfielders that could also score goals. Haaland is instrumental in scoring goals as he finishes beautifully but i believe Manchester City could always do without him.
Gundogan and De Bruyne, as well as Grealish are players in my opinion to also watch out for that could cause some problems for Inter Milan.

Yes, you’re right. Obviously, they would want to try and guard tightly Haaland who is known and good at suddenly opening up to receive passes/crosses and being able to finish off beautifully. Inter Milan knows he’s a danger man and would try to keep him closely marked at all times.
But I doubt that would make any difference in the game as Manchester City doesn’t depend wholly on the abilities of Haaland as there are other players who, when with the ball are equally dangerous and capable of scoring goals as well. Inter Milan do need to be prepared to face a tough competition.

Even if Inter Milan focuses too much on Haaland, Inter Milan's fate could be the same as what happened to Real Madrid in the semi-finals.

In fact, I was quite surprised by I. Gundogan's skills, who managed to score 2 goals in the final against Manchester United. In several previous matches, it was De Bruyne and B.Silva who always managed to score goals when Haaland was closely guarded. and in the FA Cup Final match against Man United we saw Man United's defense being very careful about Haaland, Bruyne and Silva. but they let their guard down a bit with Gundogan. So that Gundogan could score 2 goals in that match and make Man City win the FA Cup Trophy.

From this incident, I think Pep Guardiola really has a layered strategy that is difficult to predict. And somehow the Man City players are always dependable and rarely make mistakes. I don't know what type of training can make Man City players make very few mistakes on the pitch. one word for them is Amazing.

Most of the assists made by many players this season have gone to Haaland, and by using a simple attacking strategy, Inter will want to make Haaland their focus, but knowing Manchester City, they are always ahead of every team in every match, and I believe they will use that to confuse Inter's players. The fact is, Manchester City don't just have powerful forwards; their defence is also great. This is Inter's difficulty; they will have to play both offensive and defensive games if they want to win this match; Inter will have to put in double effort to win this match.

Funny me! On reading the posts on this thread I became upset why you guys should be discussing finals that has been played as if it hasn't been played. I mean I totally forgot that the finals has not been played yet. In my head I had already given Manchester City the Cup but that is silly of me.
Today I was just thinking about football to watch and switching from one channel to another until I stumbled on the under 20 world cup semi finals and I was like after this which one. Now I have been reminded about the Champions League finals, I am very happy I'll have something to watch again this season.

It seems that Pep Guardiola is poised to lift his third Champions League trophy this year. The performance of the Man City squad appears superior, despite not having as much experience as Inter. The presence of Pep Guardiola serves as a special bridge for Man City to triumph in the final showdown in Turkey.

Currently, the bookies heavily favor Man City to emerge as the victors. This is quite understandable, given the distinct playing styles of both teams. Man City possesses a formidable attacking line, whereas Inter boasts an incredibly solid defense. Haaland must prove his sharpness in the final match, although he is well aware that tight marking will be applied to him.

Man City is getting closer to making history as a Treble Winner.

Manchester City's chances of winning are very high and they are the favorites in this match without any doubt. And the chances of the match being drawn or Inter Milan winning are very low. But I can't forget the Chelsea vs City final. Chelsea's chances of winning were slim. And no one imagined that Chelsea would beat Manchester City and become champions. But to everyone's surprise, Chelsea became champions. And so I would say Guardiola should not be overconfident. But we all expect City to be champions this year.
Yes, I agree with this opinion. Even though Inter milan will compete against the best clubs in the world, Inter Milan must not be discouraged. They have to reflect on the UCL final, Chelsea vs Man City. At that time, Man City was very favored to win the Champions League, but they lost. Football is not math, in soccer the ball is round and anything can happen as long as you stay focused and don't make the slightest mistake.

Remember...inter is always underrated. However, they forgot. At the group stage, the seeded 16 passed to Barcelona and Bayern Muchen. At that time, Inter was predicted to qualify for the European league. Then, against Porto, Inter were not favored because Porto had a history of getting rid of 3 Italian representatives in the UCL the previous season (Roma, Juventus and Milan).

Against Benfica inter was also not favored because Benfica was the second most fertile team after Napoli (at that time), even the class PSG could not win against Benfica, Juventus lost twice against Benfica, as well as against Milan Inter were also not favored. Even now, against Man City in the final, many bookies only give 12% for Inter Milan to win the UCL.

I saw predictions on several sites Manchester City win  67% Draw 20% Inter Milan win 13% It looks like Manchester City is very favored
there is no guarantee this prediction is accurate it's just that almost all sites have the same predictions, no one favors Inter Milan
Lautaro Martínez is one of Inter Milan mainstay players while Lukaku has returned to Chelsea even though he understands how to play in the Premier.

even bookies favor Man City to have a more convincing chance of winning. but as you said that all predictions have no guarantee of victory because anything can happen and surprises can always happen as has happened in the past.

so if you want to bet on this match, please always use your own predictions and for myself predict that Man City's chances of winning are greater because now almost all Man City players can be said to be reliable players because it will improve all their performance

This year there are three finals with Italian teams. The Europa League with AS Roma, which Sivilla won. The Conference League with Florenz, who won Weest Ham and the Champions League with Inter Milan, who maybe Manchester City win. So for Italy it is not nice, but I think City will win the game tomorrow. Lautaro Martinez from Inter is in the form of his life, but I dont think that is enough against an English team that is so extremely good. Im very excited to see the game.

Can we get new poll only for final game? I'm interested to see how much of an underdog people think Inter is.
At the moment it is rather difficult to favor Inter milan and even Inter fans are a little hesitant to bet on Inter milan because in this match Manchester city has more advantages in the performance of strong players than Inter milan.
But I'm not saying Inter Milan will lose, but I hope the game ends in a draw which gives Inter a slightly bigger chance of winning if it goes into a penalty shootout.

It will be difficult for people to predict for the favour of Inter Milan in this match, because the hope for them to win this match is not there and Manchester city is fully ready to use their capable players to play the match so that there will be victory at the end of the final battle. I don't think, the match will end up draw 0-0, because Erling Haaland and other talented strikers will definitely do wonders that will create more opportunities for them to have access to Inter Milan goalpost easily to score goals that will make the world celebrate them again. Based on the standard Manchester city coach build around the team in this season showed that there will not be penalty shoot out before Manchester city will defeat Inter Milan 2-0.

Being dependent on Haaland is not that bad for City, they have him so them trying to get him to score is not really that bad of a thing, it does help them a lot. They are a much better team this season compared to last because they made some amazing changes on the roster, and adding Haaland was one of those amazing ones, the biggest one. He scored so many goals but after a while every team realized that they relied on him so much that they started to defend him tightly, mark him all game long with their defenders, but this time around it made other players better.

Let's remember that this is the same team that won the league so many times now and was at finals a one season ago, and semi finalist last season and finalist again this year. So just marking Haaland will not be enough, letting him be won't be good neither.
At the beginning of Haaland's arrival at Man City, we saw how the goal-scoring machine continued to destroy the opponent's questions. And opponents began to perceive Haaland as the only threat. But now it has been proven that this is not true. because it turns out that Man City doesn't just depend on Haaland. Other players have proven that they are no less strong than Haaland. De Bruyne, B.Silva and Gündoğan were even more free to score goals when the opponents were busy guarding Haaland. And all the Man City players are basically excellent at their job.

This almost seems like an intended strategic move by Guardiola at the right moment. When he told his players to take more opportunities themselves and not so much look out for Haaland, that move makes total sense as he has so many good players who are also able to strike from a distance and this is what we have basically seen in the last two months. Haaland's relative goal count went down quite a bit and instead the other players did not only score any goals, but extremely important goals all the time. This is what you want as a coach, letting the opponent know that the threat for them is literally everywhere on the pitch. But that is also what Inter Milan is now trying to prepare for. Play with open eyes and maybe even more space-related than 1vs1 against Haaland in order to not allow De Bruyne enough space to take one of his precise shots.

Haaland has enough skills to adapt to Premier League and he will not be a player of a single season. He will be able to score goals in next seasons and won't like players who only suddenly have excellent performances in one season and disappear after that.

He will get more challenge from defenders in Premier League in a new season and next seasons when they have more time to watch documentary videos about Haaland. They will figure out more tricks to control Haaland and he might score less goals than in this season.

Manchester City have a very good system which surely supports Haaland and the task of Haaland is covert key passes to goals for Manchester City. We saw that he tried to adapt and contribute more to Manchester City in last two months by playing as a decoy.

Maybe he will be required to play as a decoy target in Champions League final when Inter Milan will not leave Haaland too much space but he can attract Inter Milan defenders, midfielders and create open space for his team-mates.
