Statistically and mathematically yes it's almost no chance especially if you look at how chelsea keeping the bad performance up ... and defend the mediocre manager like potter to have the job ... that's one of many reasons why chelsea wont be able to get pass through real madrid home and away.

But hey it's football right? You can't always judge by those statistics , something impossible often occured and chelsea had it done previously even in the two champions league trophies they are against the odds!

The chance for chelsea to win against madrid is almost zero as now. Im not feeling so pessimistic with chelsea but the statistic and data from the EPL has been saying about the truth. If we are making comparison to how bad chelsea compared with real madrid. Chelsea is going out from 10th place while real madrid is still staying stronger in the second place. I don't even know what kind of strategy that will be used by chelsea but i do believe the result will always be the same. Chelsea is very unstable this time.
That makes me doubt to put my bet on chelsea due to the inconsistentcy and its stupid coach that is still managing chelsea. Real madrid is a safe choice for us right now. It can be seen how bad chelsea right now is.

It seems madrid gonna win with clean sheet as the result against chelsea. I hope that when chelsea go out from UCL will make potter to be sacked too. It's so annoying to see him keeps managing chelsea at this moment.

When we are talking about champions league,  Chelsea of now under Graham Potter is not can not win real madrid.  I'm still wondering how will manage to win real madrid when their performance is not tough . Real Madrid will always win Chelsea as far as this season is concerned.

Just like millions of Chelsea fans all over the world, I'm yet to understand the reason why Graham Potter is still the manager of a big club like Chelsea despite his abysmal results as Chelsea manager. Todd Boehly needs to explain to the fans why he has allowed that man to continue to manage Chelsea because at this point, I don't think there's any idea that's left with him to turn the fortunes of the club.

After watching Chelsea's disgraceful display at home to Aston Villa yesterday, I became so worried on their behalf when considering that they have UEFA Champions League quarter finals encounter with Real Madrid. With that cluelessness, Real Madrid is surely gonna send them to the cleaners in the two legged tie. Chelsea management board needs to make a change if they want a positive change in the Chelsea team

Wait, the same frank that built the team that won the Champions league, FIFA club world cup, final etc. the team that was filled with youngsters and people didn't take them serious? Lampard came into management of top clubs too quick and that's just the cause of all his failure. He mightn't have won Chelsea the champion league but he started the journey. As for Graham Potter, he mightn't have proven himself yet in a big way  but he has done small things that are worth acknowledging and that's why Chelsea went for him. No owner will international go for a flop coach to run down his club. Graham Potter not picking up quick at Chelsea doesn't mean he's a shitty coach, look at Jürgen Norbert Klopp, how many years before he took Liverpool to the top of the world?.

We have to let go of the mentality of the old, today a strong team that's playing collectively for each other can make any manage look very good and possibly win them trophies. Don't forget teams now win managers trophies, I mean Chelsea basically won the Europa league for Sarri and giving him his very first title and that's was the lions giving the goats that (loses lockout games and finals) his first trophy to increase his values and made him a hot cake in the management business.  Teams can win trophies too it isn't always about the manager.

I also agree that Real Madrid deserves more to continue their steps to the Semi-finals. because Chelsea have really let us down who have started to hope for them after a few games they have improved. but it turns out they had to lose embarrassingly by Aston villa in front of their own supporters. Real Madrid must take advantage of Chelsea's current inconsistency. Real Madrid must do the same as when they beat Liverpool in the round of 16.

Even though Liverpool is also having a pretty tough season so far i still agree that they are still way stronger at the moment than FC Chelsea. Therefore it is definitely correct that Real Madrid is the very big favorite in the upcoming Champions League quarterfinal against Chelsea. That being said, i also don't really think that Real Madrid is that strong. The match up against Liverpool was pretty much decided already after the first leg even though Liverpool had a great start into that game so this was overall pretty weird. After their big lead from the first leg it was obviously very easy for Real Madrid to just get that lead over the line in the second leg.
So Real Madrid is definitely the big favorite, but they are also not extremely strong.

So I'm expecting Real Madrid will win with big margins in the first leg since it will played on Real Madrid's home. Chelsea doesn't need to win, they only need to make a draw at their best. Because if they get beaten with big margins, it will affect every players' psychology and think it's impossible to beat Real Madrid.

What worse has he done? What's is worse than getting knockout in the biggest competition in club football. The worst you're talking about are just him (the club) having a bad run that he covered up by winning Dortmund to qualify for the quarter finals. This season we already knew there was nothing to fight for in the league and kept our hopes in cup competition which we're out of all we participated in and just left with the champions league so I think him losing against Real Madrid would be very brutal for his career. I miss the old days of Roman Abramovich been incharge, assuming he was still in charge and Graham Potter loses to Real Madrid, he would be given the sack letter immediately.

Nevertheless, I don't think Graham Potter will be sacked (although that's every Chelsea fan wish at this point) and that's because we aren't losing to Real Madrid, the worst we can get is a draw, we'll draw at their home and win in ours. Playing Real Madrid as an underdog is were we'll be having the advantages, they'll be underrating us as usual and we'll surprised them. Don't use our recent bad form to judge this game. This is the champions league and  not the premier league. We might be performing badly in the premier league but things get different when we sing that champions league anthem.

Real will have no trouble hosting Chelsea in the first leg, I just saw how Chelsea played when Aston Villa humiliated them in front of their own supporters. With the condition of the team like this, Chelsea will find it difficult at Real Madrid headquarters. Ancelotti must take advantage of the opportunity to win by a large margin, the capital of the first leg will make the Real Madrid players' struggle in the second leg a little easier. After seeing Chelsea who have suffered their own home defeat by Aston Villa. So I think we will definitely not expect too much from Chelsea. because after all Potter was really unreliable. Aston Villa, who wasn't even seeded, managed to beat Chelsea quite tragically with 2 goals. so we can't imagine what will happen when faced with a strong team like Real Madrid.
