Absolutely true. Chelsea's season is not this one. This season, the club has experienced a great number of events (change of coach, new signings of players, new club owner, and management). Chelsea won't be able to stand on their own for a while till the end of this season. By the next season, the Chelsea squad should start to benefit from Potter's adopted strategies.
The champions league and premier league top spots are beyond Chelsea's reach. Because of the extensive champions league experience that Real Madrid's players and coach have gotten from past champions league games, Real will win against Chelsea
Football isn't always about who has more experience or the better team. Most times it take who wants it more to win a game. If Real Madrid didn't win this trophy for this season, they can always win the next as they're favorite every season but Chelsea mightn't have a chance next season since their spot isn't guaranteed yet because we're far away from the top four spot but achieving that isn't impossible either as you can never tell what the international breaks might do to players when they come back. I hear people saying that since the current coach of Real Madrid was a former Chelsea coach that he knows Chelsea's style of play..
Please which style of play are they talking about because Chelsea changes playing pattern for most of their coaches and the players Carlo Ancelotti coach isn't the same as the ones Graham Potter is coaching. I can't wait to see the looks on people faces when Chelsea advance to the semi finals then they can start believing Chelsea could possibly win the Champions League this season. As a fan I'm even more scared of Bayern Munich then Real Madrid and then we have our former coach Thomas Tuchel taking charge of Bayern Munich, I can't wait for Chelsea to play him.
Chelsea has lost its true identity. The Blues need a long time to restore his reputation. Since being taken over by Todd Boehly and the change of manager from Tuchel to Potter, on that day the Chelsea class became an ordinary team. This season Boehly has also invested heavily. A number of young players bought at a pretty fantastic price. but what happened? Chelsea's performance so far still looks mediocre. If a large investment is not followed by achievements, it will certainly be in vain. And of course very painful for Chelsea, because next season they will not appear in European competition.
In the Champions League, Chelsea's steps will stop in the quarterfinals. It was difficult for Potter who had so little experience against a history-laden team like Real Madrid. These two teams have met in the last two periods. I admit that the Blues also tackled Madrid. But the Chelsea squad at that time was of course very much different from the current squad. So, Chelsea will have to wait a few more years to become the best in Europe.
