PSG have good players like Messi and Mbappe in attack, but they can't do much as long as the midfielders don't have space and good creativity to organize attacks. While PSG have also struggled in defense due to Marquinhos' injury, it has caused their defense to be in trouble. Their squad depth is lacking even though they have Messi and Mbappe in attack.

Frankly, I can't get PSG in good form when they don't get top quality out of midfielders. A defeat like this proves the quality of Bayern Munich's players, even though previously I expected PSG to qualify for the quarter-finals. Specialists are still specialists, Bayern Munich is one of them.

Conte is a good coach for domestic leagues as he won some titles from Italy with Juventus, Inter Milan to Premier League with Chelsea. However, he is not good for Champions League as so far he did not achieve any big milestone in Champions League with some big clubs (Inter Milan, Juventus, Chelsea) and likely he is unable to change it with Tottenham.

Tottenham in reality are not competitive enough in Champions League. They are good but not too strong and I think it is more realistic for Tottenham to focus on Premier League and try to win it. In Champions League, many bigger clubs are stronger than Tottenham and they have more experience there than Tottenham too.

PSG will have a big reshuffle in coming summer from Galtier to their squad. Many players who are old like Ramos, Messi, Veratti will have to leave and maybe Neymar will leave too. Mbappe future is very uncertain after this defeat as he did not show that he has enough loyalty and patience with PSG.

It's fair to consider his performance in Munich is under average. He should look at himself before requiring too much from PSG and his team mates.

Conte is a great coach, I would not change him, especially since the 1/8 finals is quite a decent result and in the Premier League they also have good chances to finish the season in the top 4, so everything is not so bad.

But PSG will definitely want to replace Galtier, because under his leadership the team did not show any progress, they lost in the French Cup, their results in Ligue 1 are not as impressive as before, they don’t score as much, they concede a lot. And of course, the main reason is the departure from the Champions League at the 1/8 stage, it's too early for such a team.

Bayern Munich were really relieved by beating Psg.  I expected a better match from psg but they failed to do so.  Mbappe can carry a team on his own, but his playing style just didn't suit him.  Psg was not very insistent to pass the round during the match.  Bayern Munich got a clean win.

good PSG players are just messi, mbappe and neymar in attack, what everyone in the direction should have asked themselves was:

will a team be just messi, neymar and mbappe? only with these 3 players would the team win the champions league?

if they thought about it they would realize that the answer is obvious: they would not win the champions league with only 3 players


the solution is not to spend millions of dollars randomly.

- they need to hire a good coach urgently

- the new coach has to improve PSG's defense (and this is PSG's biggest problem)

- the new coach needs to improve the team's training to be able to score goals even without having neymar

In my opinion, the management of PSG should have brought in Zidane, Mourinho, Tuchel, Ancelotti, they are coaches who could improve the team and manage to win the Champions League, of course there are other good coaches like Manchester City, Liverpool, manchester united from barcelona but i doubt these coaches would accept


I've been asking myself why they focus so much on the attack and hire good players, but forget about defense and midfield and forget about hiring a good coach, and something very strange. if they keep the current coach and without neymar playing? so even league 1 they may not be able to win, in my opinion they are urgently in need of a good coach

Tottenham 0 - 0 Milan

I'm wondering:

how much longer will it take tottenham management to put in another coach

this season totteham for some time even looked like they would achieve something big like winning something, but even with good players the team has not brought good results, their attackers have not been able to score goals frequently and the defense has become a disaster, the need to hire another coach, but i think this time they need to put someone who knows premier legue well, about milan i also think they need to make big changes like:

- change coach
- bring in new players

PSG 0 - 2 bayern

this is not a result that surprises people, I believe that most people already expected this, everyone can see that PSG are a disaster and that they need a good coach

For me it is not a reason because Neymar is not present due to injury but a midfielder that cannot provide good space to supply the ball in the future that is difficult for PSG games to not develop and we see how Messi always goes down and not always in the attacker position what see.

Christophe Galtier is indeed unable to make the game more interesting and this is difficult for him to give a strategy against a big team like Bayern Munich, how not twice the PSG match must lose including at home.

When the corner kick Ramos tried to head well twice but again goalkeeper Bayern Munich Sommer did his action well and it was a good rescue.

Bayern Munich in yesterday's match confirmed that although they do not have stars like Messi or Mbappe in their squad, they are a better team than PSG. Bayern seem to be one of the main favorites to win this edition of the Champions League. It is worth noting that Bayern played 2 matches each against teams such as Inter, Barcelona and PSG, and still the only team that managed to beat the goalkeeper of the Bavarians is Viktoria Plzen.

People thinks because of the absent of Neymar that was the reason PSG lose to Bayern Munich. PSG having 3 big players is not a guarantee for them to win the Champions league.  I am not surprise about Bayern Munich defeating PSG, I have noticed the energy and quality Bayern Munich had been putting in every of their match in Champions league this season. Bayern Munich performance in the champions league game is outstanding and I know they stand a big chance of defeating PSG.

PSG's management makes a mistake every season. Their main aim is to do well in the Champions League. They are spending a lot of money on this. The squad is formed with the best players in the world. But the most important thing they are neglecting. They are not hiring experienced coaches. I'm not saying that Galtier is a bad coach. But since their target is the Champions League title, PSG management should give the team's physicality to a coach who has experience in the Champions League platform. And if they don't do that, they won't be able to win the Champions League title next season despite spending a lot of money.

PSG is a team of big players with 0 sinergy. When they met a similar calibre of opponent with good sinergy they are eliminated, same last 4years. If PSG wants to win needs to focus on building team around sinergy and less big names a less big egos in team.

With or without Neymar PSG had no plan during the game, they had Messi and Mbappe while even one of these two players could be enough for a team with a proper tactic and that's what PSG doesn't have, I think their weakness is not about players, it's about their coach for not using the player well, also they lost the last match at home and obviously they had not much chance for this game at Allianz Arena.

Bayern Munich has proven their worth as the best team in the German Bundesliga by beating PSG at home and away; this has demonstrated how serious Bayern Munich is about the Champions League, despite the fact that so many people expect Real Madrid and Manchester City to win the Champions League this season; I believe a surprise will occur because Real Madrid may not win the Champions League this season.



PSG has been doing this for more than four seasons now; it is no longer surprising if PSG is eliminated because they have been passing through such shameful elimination stages, especially last season when they had all the chances to eliminate Real Madrid but fucked up big time by failing to capitalize on their chances, which is why they were eliminated yesterday looks normal to me.

Is a complete squad now a measure for a team to win a match? There are other matches Messi, Neymar, and Mbape has played with other team and yet they lost and there are some they won without the 3 of them together, it is not a yardstick for the team to win a match. Bayern Munich isn't a piece of cake they could just bite and go home without putting up a fight, it is not done that way, in fact, check the record, only a few times PSG was able to win matches against Bayern Munich.


I don't think Madrid would take him back, not what he did to Real Madrid's president during the January transfer window. Since they weren't able to further journey to the Champions League, it is safe to say that Messi would be given this year's Ballon d'Or over Mbape people think FIFA might consider if they win the Champions League.

Two big clubs are playing, one between them must loss because it is no more a group stage.

Bayern won in away match, you know what that means, for a club that are not that visiting your club to win you at your own home, that alone will make people to think that PSG is not having any chance again, but because of Mbappe, people thought things would turn around to favour PSG, Bayern just prove to them that it is not good for a club to lose the chance of home win in Champions League.

It is not a shame on PSG, one club must lose, they are both big clubs but Bayern proved to be better.

No doubt Galtier missed Neymar in the game last night. but i expect messi and  mbappe to turn things well in the attack line. but they could not deliver psg to the quarter finals. is a big shame for Galtier, he cant use this squad to win Champions league then there is squad he can use to win it again.

i think in the next transfer widom, Mbappe may leave for madrid or manchester united. the reason he stay at Psg has been defeated already. he is arm was to win Champions league with Messi effect. but since he could not achieve this season , he has to think twice.

For the Manchester City vs RB Leipzig match, I am quite sure that in this match Manchester City will be able to win the match. other than because Manchester city is playing at home. also because Manchester City were even able to dominate in the first leg when the match was held at home to RB Leipzig. so of course in the second leg Manchester City will play more comfortably because the match will be held at the Etihad Stadium. for Napoli va Frankfurt, I don't doubt Napoli in this match. they look like they will win easily again like in the first leg. in fact I think there will be more goals in this game.

 As for the Porto vs Inter Milan match, I myself am not sure which one will be superior.
Likewise with the Real Madrid vs Liverpool match, I think this will be a little difficult to predict. Liverpool might win this game. but only by a slim score. and Real Madrid can still qualify for the next round. but most likely Real Madrid will actually increase the advantage in the second leg and qualify for the next round convincingly.

Playing without Neymar made Paris Saint Germain coach Christophe Galtier rearrange PSG's attack line, Galtier play a 3-5-2 strategy in this second leg, if there was Neymar Galtier might put 3 strikers in front and the results could be different from yesterday
The combination in PSG's midfield yesterday was minimal, they actually met resistance from Bayern Munich and made it difficult for them to move to build attacks.
Bayern successfully dominated the match in front of tens of thousands of supporters

Tottenham could not qualify yesterday night despite them needing just one single goal to get to at least to additional time and then to try and go further.I think that this is the maximum for Tottenham as compared to Milan they lack completely the experience for such high performing competitions.

In fact it was exactly the experience that Milan has in this competition which they have won many times that gave them the qualification yesterday night,still I bet on Tottenham and lost my bet but I like to back up the runner up and not the favorite in such competitions.

however it is difficult for PSG to get a win at home to Munich. after they previously lost at home, they are increasingly having trouble under the pressure of Munich.
the battle between the two in midfield, PSG tried to put Mbappe and Messi up front but it didn't work. PSG has tried hard, but the reality must be faced by PSG, who must be eliminated in the last 16 of the UCL.
Munich will be one of the favorite teams to win the trophy.

Galtier was vert disappointed with the result. Sergio rames has been trying so hard but his dream to win UCL with PSG is also gone. At least ramos has been winning UCL so many times with real madrid and he must accept the truth if his team (PSG) is not as strong as real madrid to win UCL. It needs more than only play well in UCL. The clubs need to have good mentality. messi can do nothing against bayern. It can be seen from the direction of his movement.
Mbappe already suggest for not stay even longer in PSG or he will never be able to get UCL trophy. Mbappe has been suggested to move to the real madrid to be able to win UCL trophy.
