Even though my multi bet failed in the first leg but I will still do the same in the second leg this time. Now the chance can still do that I think. The condition of Bayern is still my favorite and I agree with the bookie as well as Tottenham who previously lost in the first leg.
In another match I have no doubts about Manchester City and I even made another bet that City could score more than 2 goals there.

If you want to repeat your previous bey, it's cool but I do not think that Bayern Munich will have to win Psg home and away. So it will not be easy for Bayern to win PSG again for the second time when Messi the world cup winner and Mbappe the world cup highest goal scorer is in the team.
I am also in doubt of Tottenham being able to win Ac Milan seeing that Tottenham has been struggling, even in the English Premier League. All the best although
In this match I actually fell again and again at Tottenham.
It's really not good to have to change the bet back to Manchester City, because I believe in it.
Tottenham was eliminated and so far they are the first team to leave for the EPL from the Champions League competition. I'm confident in Manchester City but of course it's more likely that Liverpool overtakes Tottenham for the competition.

Bayern are more experienced than PSG in the Champions League that is why they won them in both legs without a reply from PSG. PSG did all they could to get back into the competition but their efforts could not profit anything. Outside the three super stars PSG still has lineups of professional players just that they were not making their assists early enough especially in the second leg. PSG defense wasn't as bad as it seems just that Bayern were high opportunists and they were more conscious of their defense than PSG. PSG had good attempts but all went void
Apart from Bayern Munich being very experienced in the UCL League, it must be admitted that Bayern Munich is the favorite team to win the UCL this season. The game system is mature, winning mentality, tough physique and stamina, great player material, smart young coaches and healthy club management.

The 100% winning record this season is a strong illustration of Bayern.
Barcelona, Inter Milan and now PSG have been beaten Home & Away.
Losing Neuer, Pavard and Lucas Hernandez is not a problem because on the bench there are still Sane, Mane, Gnabry, Cancelo, Mazraoui, Gravenberch, Daley Blind etc.
Meanwhile, on the field there were Upamecano, De Ligt, Alphonso Davies, Goretzka, Kimmich, Muller, Coman, Musiala and Coupo Motting.

I think it is very appropriate if Bayern Munich is the favorite to win the UCL this season.

Is it possible for Liverpool to get the magic they got in the UCL Final in Athens against Milan?  Grin
But if we look at Liverpool current performance, it seems that it will be far from this miracle.
Lol, Grin Liverpool are playing far from their best like you rightly said, i know they put seven past Manchester United, but i think United were just so terrible that day, not that Liverpool were so exceptional. And for a team to come back from three goals down in the CL they have to be brimming with confidence, and Liverpool is not, they are quite erratic this season, you can't tell when they would have a good game or an off day. Another thing is that the second leg is in Madrid, if the game was at Anfield then we could say with the fans behind Liverpool they can give the game a chase, but with the crowd behind Real Madrid, it would be very difficult for Liverpool to turn this game around.
It will be very difficult indeed, but both teams have done rather inconsistently in their domestic leagues respectively. I would go with Madrid to win on a very slim chance, even if Liverpool should play at their highest rate.
We are talking about a team that has more champions league experience recently as compared to Liverpool. I don't even need to compare the individual stats for each players, because if it comes to that, Madrid tops the chart.

Liverpool will have a harder game in Santiago Bernabeu because in the last game, they started very well but Real Madrid is famous for strong comebacks even in the last minutes of the game while they could score 5 goals while Liverpool was playing at home but this time they will play in Santiago Bernabeu where Real Madrid can have a better situation this can make it hard for Liverpool to score three goals in this game.
Liverpool's game at Santiago Bernabeu next week of a truth will be very hard for them but will overturning the tie and go to win it a mission impossible? No I think because this current Liverpool side can beat anybody on their day and also because we have seen them in the past do unimaginable comebacks in the UEFA Champions League. Real Madrid's main man Karim Benzema has a minor might not be fit  for the match which is also another advantage to Liverpool. Whatever might be the result of that match next week I think Liverpool is gonna put up a display that their fans are gonna be proud of.

Bayern Munich always has a clear system in their game. Even though there were slight modifications, all the players already understood how they should play, that's why their chemistry was solid, although in terms of quality, maybe this Bayern wasn't as strong as in the Ribery-Robben-Lahm-Schweinsteiger era, etc.

PSG is just spending a lot of money, but until now they still don't have a clear game plan. Not to mention their midfield is also honestly not good for a club that wants to compete for the UCL title.

But if we look at Liverpool current performance, it seems that it will be far from this miracle. The reason is, Madrid is more consistent while Liverpool in the domestic league are still not able to get out of trouble. All they have to think about is not to concede additional goals to Madrid, because it would be a shame if they conceded more than 2 goals at home.
it is difficult a miracle to come to liverpool in the second leg later because the team they are facing is a consistent team in the champions league so there is little hope that liverpool will be able to score many goals at the bernabeu stadium. Liverpool is currently in a fairly good phase in the domestic league by winning big and being able to improve their ranking in the standings table.

the second leg is allegedly going to be quite heated because Liverpool must be able to catch up with goals where they have to play aggressively from the early minutes. real madrid will definitely anticipate this in the second leg later. I think Liverpool chances of advancing to the next round are quite small.

PSG's problem was definitely with strategies nothing more. Because they have an amazing squad in their hands. You have great attackers in your hands but can't use them well. Galtier should have been able to turn this into their advantage but the opposite scenario happened.

Messi couldn't do anything against Bayern Munich in this match. I remember only one big chance he had but Bayern Munich defense did an amazing work there by blocking his goal attempts. It is like Messi is struggling against Bayern Munich anyway wherever he goes to.  Grin  After this poor matchup I will be expecting Galtier to be sacked. I would have sacked him honestly if I was the chairman of PSG. He isn't obviously the right manager for this team.

It is really unbelievable that Chelsea could not gain points in the league but getting good results with good football in Champions League. This is why we love football. It always misleads us. But Dortmund couldn't advance due to the weaknesses of the Dortmund defense. Especially Niklas Sule is a very heavy defender. They were caught unprepared by Chelsea's fast attacks. He is slowly starting to recover at Chelsea. Names like Kai Havertz, Ben Chilwell, Joao Felix were in great form. Also, Dortmund seems to be closer to the Bundesliga championship after this match. Chelsea deservedly won but they don't seem ready to win ucl. After scoring the second goal, they defended very well. I think that their morale will be reflected in the league.

Super ironic multi bet - three underdog wins plus a double chance (haha) on Benfica when even a bet on them to win with -1 handicap was accepted with odds less than 2. So far, you have guessed one result (I don’t count Benfica’s win) out of three and you may be right about Tottenham, but it seems to me that going to PSG in the next round is unlikely, although the odds for this event are very attractive and probably deserve a separate bet.
If this is a 2 match multibet, of course I bet the handicap (-1) for Benfica to win, but this is a multibet with 4 matches and of course I don't want to risk losing at the start if in normal time 90 minutes benfica actually gets a draw against Brugge, although Even with a draw, Benfica is certain to qualify for the next round. For PSG, actually I'm not sure they can qualify for the next round, but if PSG can equalize the aggregate their chances of qualifying are still open. Maybe our betting styles are different, but I always avoid taking heavy risks so that my bets can at least be all right. Cheesy

I understand your reasoning, but it seems to me that this is a different case: taking a double chance on Benfica is the heaviest risk - you will not get all the necessary profit even if the other outcomes are correct. Not getting all profit in a multi-bet is very bad, because, let's say, with your analysis, you were able to get a 10-15% advantage over the bookmaker, but due to the fact that you made a "cautious" bet on an obvious option (Benfica's victory), you lost 30% and thus your bet still turned out to be a losing one (on distanse).

I second this. Real Madrid already have a three goal advantage, and the second leg game is at the Santiago Bernabeu, i don't see any chance in hell of Liverpool overturning that deficit, the more likely result would be Real Madrid coming out on top both home and away. Leipzig travel to the Etihad to face Manchester City, the German club had a very good first leg tie, and they'll be looking to build on that, but i think City would be too strong for them, they have to win the CL this season, as such elimination in the RO16 stage to Leipzig is unacceptable.

Liverpool fans will always hold out for another amazing night like the one in Athens versus Milan, and it's a story as old as time. Their current state forces us to be realistic about their chances. In all likelihood, they will fail, but it's not impossible. Perhaps they would do better if they focused on finishing in the Premier League's top four, rather than putting all of their eggs in the Champions League basket.
Liverpool's domestic performance has been inconsistent, so their win against Manchester United must have been a welcome change of pace. The fans' current emotions are totally relatable. The forthcoming game versus Madrid, though, will prove to be quite difficult. Ancelotti knows what it's like to be on the receiving end of Liverpool's supremacy and isn't about to let it happen again without a fight.

I have said this a lot of times before but if you are having players like Messi, Neymar and Mbappe all in the same team, then it is not really a thing that is totally positive in every respect. If those 3 players are playing at the same time, then this basically means, that your team probably has the strongest offense of all teams in the world, but in the same time this also means, that you have 3 players on the pitch, that are doing absolutely nothing to support the defense. I think this is just to much and can not be compensated anymore in modern football. Also i have to say, that the squad of PSG, bedides those 3 superstars is not really that great.

I also can't stop thinking about PSG, especially in the Champions League because PSG have always failed in the Champions League for years and have even been beaten by Bayern Munich in the 2020 Champions League final. So actually I wasn't that surprised when I saw Bayern Munich able to beat PSG yesterday at home to Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the Champions League this season.

Even though I am amazed and can't stop thinking about PSG because the PSG team is a team that has a lot of money and has some great players so that almost everyone sees a clearer potential in PSG, but all of these things are not a good influence on PSG in the League Champion.
There are several assessment aspects that need attention from PSG's failure in the Champions League this season. I found them weak in defense and also in midfield although Christophe Galtier tried to play 5 midfield with 3-5-2. Messi tends to be brought down due to accurate tackles and other physical contact when he gets the ball, this has happened to many other PSG players during the match. That to me is a good strategy to intimidate opponents and spoil their focus on better games.

Julian Nagelsmann is clever, he knows how to stop the ball from flowing to Messi and Messi to Mbappe. Look how excited he was when his players brought down Messi and saved his pass to Mbappe, it was a strategy that had been prepared and they worked.

The Tottenham v Milan match was one of the most boring matches to me these days. Because I would have expected to see some goals in this one. They are both teams that have really effective attackers but still we didn't watch any goal. It was still okay for Milan as they had a score advantage on aggregate. But Tottenham needed to be much more productive than this. They didn't even have proper absolute goal opportunities during the match. The most important one was with Kane's brilliant header but Maignan saved it great.

After this elimination I wonder what Conte is planning to do. Maybe he would think of leaving the team before the team decide to sack him at the end of the season. Even if Tottenham qualify for the Champions League again this is still not a successful season for them.

It's shameful and embarrassing to see that Tottenham Hotspur are not even competing for any single trophy this season. The game yesterday wasn't as boring as you've said. The both sides are known for scoring lesser goals in the last few games so it was expected, but I expected Tottenham Hotspur to step up to the challenge.

AC Milan are good European side's, they are well experienced when it comes to big games like that yesterday, who would they face next up ?

Bayern Munich vs Paris Saint Germans was tue game of the day, silent Kylian Mbappe, locked Lionel Messi and kudos to the tactics of Bayern Munich coach, Paris Saint Germans played right into his tactics. And I believe tjis might possibly be the last season with Neymar, Messi and Sergio Ramos playing for the French club.

I believe it's time that all those who were making noise about PSG being the favourite team to win the champion league because of it new signings, will now have reasons to keep quite and let football decide for itself. So many were predicting base on the side with more star players, but  I never had any doubt of the outcome of the match between Bayern and psg cuz I already new experience will play a big role in the match, and in this cause, Bayern is more favoured. If u ask me, I'm seeing Bayern and Real Madrid in the final

The PSG squad was very strong. But the bonding between the players was not good. There was a lot of infighting on the team. Coach Galtier could not stabilize the team. Due to these reasons, the PSG team played badly in both matches against Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich, Manchester City, and Real Madrid are now considered favorites for the Champions League title. My guess is one of these three teams will be champions. The performance of these three teams is quite good in every match of the Champions League.

They have their own views and judgments, so it doesn't matter what they believe or not. After all, now it has been proven which team is better because the team that can go further is of course the better team. It doesn't matter about key players getting injured and/or out of action, because the best teams always have a way to rotate players with the right strategy.

Next, let's just wait and enjoy their game because I think even Bayern Munich and Real Madrid cannot guarantee to advance to the final round. Because, even though in the round of 16 Real Madrid and Bayern Munich look very good but still, for the next round they will face more difficult resistance than their opponents.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
March 09, 2023, 01:42:45 PM
I didn't see the version of PSG that I expected. They had Mbappe and Messi both on the field from the beginning but this still wasn't enough for them to be more effective in scoring goals. They still had struggles and Bayern Munich were there to benefit from those opportunities in a great way. Bayern Munich could have even scored more goals than that. I remember PSG being able to eliminate them in the past. This made me think like they wouldn't give up that easy in this matchup as well.

After this result I'm just expecting Galtier to be sacked at the end of the season. They have said goodbye to the Champions League very early in the end and this title was their main target.
Unfortunately nobody did, they played not so great but they did not play that terrible neither, they had great attacking mindset and they tried but Bayern defense was just that much better and that's why they lost. Even that position where defender saved the ball from the line is proof enough that Bayern was just way too good on defense, didn't want to get scored on at all.

I think this is a proof that PSG needs to change something finally, not just manager but he has to go as well, they hired a terrible manager and that was obvious from the first day they announced it, but now we can see the reality too, but they need to change the roster a bit too, this just doesn't help at all.
We know that Bayern Munich always have a good defense once again they can be able to thwart attacks from PSG which are just a few minutes away from scoring and that is a fact Bayern are stronger than PSG we hear about many superstar players but that doesn't guarantee anything.
PSG needs to change everything including coaches who are experienced in Champions League matches because I saw last night PSG were not that impressive.

PSG for the Champions League competition is still not strong, I don't know what is the factor, they always fail when they are desired by their own players, behind all that, many blame the coach for not being able to handle it better in the UCL.

I agree with your opinion because basically PSG is not as bad as they say.
Several chances were created during the game and they tried to score in various ways but couldn't. It is true that Bayern Munich's defense appeared solid, including Yann Sommer who made several brilliant saves. That is one of the reasons why it is difficult for PSG to find goals even though they made 4 shots on target.

I understand PSG's game and mission in that match, but Galtier doesn't have many options and solutions when the team is in trouble. PSG don't have midfielders who are really active tirelessly and mentally strong, it's not owned by Verratti, Fabián Ruiz, Vitinha and Nuno Mendes so I didn't really see them doing well all game efective helping Messi and Mbappe in attack.

Big changes had to be made in midfield, after all PSG is also not as strong as it sounds in defense and in goalkeeper.
