I think there is no need to speculate too early for the Champions League trophy because some teams are still very likely to surprise the second leg and some others will still be fighting for the first leg of the round of 16 this season. So for this season I think it will be very difficult to determine who will get the Champions League trophy this season, because all teams are trying to perform as well as possible in all matches in order to implement it in the Champions League.

I agree that Manchester City is probably the biggest favorite to win the Champions League this year. That being said, ManCity was probably the big favorite to win this competition in the last 5 years in a row or so, but so far they did not manage to win it once. In order to really win the Champions League you not only need to be the best team you also always need a bit of luck and the timing on your side.

Bayern Munich though comes right behind ManCity in my opinion and i also think that this is a great achievement by Bayern. They don't have a rich oligarch or sheikh behind them like PSG or Manchester City and they also don't have huge amount of debts like Real Madrid, Barca or many english clubs. In fact Bayern even has Money laying around in the bank. Still Bayern is able to keep up with those teams.

Bayern may not have the financial power of PSG or Manchester City, but they have a great football tradition, a very famous football school, organization and history, and money can't buy that.
The very fact that the owners of PSG and Manchester City have invested so much money in these two clubs and have not yet managed to win the biggest and most important trophy, the Champions League, shows that success cannot be bought with money and that success is built through years of patient work and investments.
I'm not sure if Manchester City is really the main favorite to win the Champions League this season. What about PSG, Real or Bayern?
I'm sure that we will again have a very uncertain and exciting end of this competition, and regardless of the current small crisis of the game and the results, I give Real the best chance again.

They are not to sharp as they use to be they posses no much strength with attackers too
Did you see muller the last game he came on against psg he was not as good as he was and refusing to pass the ball
At some moments of this season they found some difficulty scoring goals they struggled yesterday and lost still. They stand no chance to win the champions league

But at least the defeat in the league match yesterday will raise doubts whether Munich will be able to look good in the Champions League or even become champions, we can see a few years ago where Chelsea was not the favorite to win the champions league especially in the league they were very constrained and had to fire their coach and replace with new ones but they can win and it's beyond expectations, so the favorite team won't automatically win they just look like they'll win easily but actually not even Napoli or Liverpool or other teams can surprise

They won against Psg, but I don't think they will go far enough to become champions in the Champions league. They were defeated in the Bundesliga match they played yesterday. Even if they eliminate psg, I don't know how good they can be in other rounds. Bayern Munich is far from the strong image we always know this season.

I think that losing the final against Real Madrid was very painful for Liverpool in 2022. The game was all about Liverpool, but in the end Real Madrid scored the goal. While I expected Liverpool to win it last year, I am not so sure about this year. Real Madrid isn't playing that well either this season, but they have a psychological advantage I think. A lot might depend on an early goal for Liverpool because when they met the last time Liverpool had 24:4 shots and yet they didn't score. I think they could get nervous if this game goes a similar way and that is when Real Madrid has all that experience to make it through in the end. It's going to be an exciting game.

I don't see Real Madrid having much of a chance in the Champions League. However, if Real Madrid can perform as aggressively as La Liga in the Champions League, there may be some chances in the remaining matches.

I agree, Real definitely looks better, Valverde played an amazing game and I would expect him to have another great game like that against Liverpool as well. I know that it is not an easy task to beat Liverpool regularly, but this season things are looking a bit different. Real is nearly as good as last season, maybe a bit worse, but they can still win.

Benzema is the only issue, he is always injured, him playing the way he played last year would have sealed the deal for them and get them that win, but he is always absent this year. I do not know if he is really injured or if it is something mentally wrong with him, like he is in depression or something, in both cases I hope he gets better, he is amazing player to watch.

I think Benzema's performance days are over. He has been supporting Real Madrid for a long time and has played a huge role in the team. But now Benzema is old due to which he is facing various problems.

Liverpool's performance in the Champions League is great. The coach of the team has trained the players very well and the players are able to perform well. Most of the matches they are dominating and ensuring victory. If they continue to play like this, they can do well in the Champions League.

Yes, it's true that losing in the EPL has made Chelsea worse off. But I believe Chelsea will bounce back in the leg because the spirit of playing in the EPL and UCL is very different. Hopefully with the few weeks that Chelsea have before the second leg, the team can pull together and really start playing like this every game from now on, but with a better finish. Chelsea created so many dangerous chances and hope Chelsea can convert them in the next game.

but otherwise, I don't think Chelsea will get a big chance in the second leg. even though they will be playing at home. Dortmund will at least be able to hold Chelsea to a draw and that will give them victory.
