Exactly and that's why Chelsea has to rest 7 of their players that played in the last champion league game just so they can have them fresh for Tuesday champions league game against AC Milan. Graham Potter was willing to draw this week premier league game not minding because his focus is on the champions league and qualifying from the group stages which is looking possible now after the first leg win against AC Milan. Luckily his team change still deliver as they win 3:0 against Wolves in the premier league even after all the changes he made to the team.

The world cup fast coming is making the players over used in short timeframe. Some clubs are having to play three games in quick succession (sometimes with in one week). Barcelona having to play Europa league again this season would be very devastating, especially for Luwadusaksi but on the bright side, might just bring competition since Manchester united are in need of one especially Ronaldo.

I double doubt if they had that at heart if you ask me, I don't even expect Barcelona to have a difficult game today against CELTA Vigo honestly, They have to step up especially this October, the biggest test I've seen. They have to tackle down Celta, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and also Bayern Munich if they wish to continue playing the Champions League.

Xavi Hernandez has lost some players to Injury already, but he can still manage the squad and do better, not scared if they step down to the Champions League, that's the worst thing I'd wish for them.

It's not pretty nice comparing Ronaldo to Robert Lewandoski, Nah! You've got to let the GOAT be, all this results he's had is as a result of age I think.

Graham Potter doing things I don't expect so fast, this is the second game with clean sheets, Kepa seems to have closed down the face of Mendy real quick. Beautiful header from Kai!

Barcelona have not been performing so good in the champions league this season and they have dropped down below second in the group stages of the UCL means they have to win the remaining games to move up the table and book a place to the round of 16. A win against Inter Milan in the second leg will be very important if they want to qualify for the next rounds of the competition.
Something that is doubtful for Barcelona in order to qualify for the next round phase, the opportunity exists but it seems that on the way Barcelona have to give all their abilities. in the second leg later, what is certain is that Inzaghi will not let his squad lose out just like that at Camp Nou. at least they will keep their position, a draw is enough for them to keep their position.
Again I say, no luck for Barcelona.
Their defeat of Inter at the San Siro, required Barcelona to win a landslide victory when they later played at their own home. what is certain, in the second leg later, the match will present a match with high tension.

Barcelona are in dire straits right now. Despite winning the first home match against Plzen, they lost their next two away matches against Bayern Munich and Inter Milan. They managed to win only one out of three matches. Now going to the next round is completely uncertain for Barcelona. Barcelona will need to win both home matches against Munich and Inter Milan if they are to qualify for the next round. If they do not win the next three matches, it is almost impossible for Barcelona to go to the knockout round. Despite having such a strong squad, Barcelona's poor performance is very disappointing.

You cannot play in the Champions League the same way you did in your home league since it is the league of champions. Due to the numerous benefits and recognition that come from the competition, every team takes it extremely seriously and strives to perform better. I must say that when Milan defeated Barcelona, I wasn't shocked. For us, this is the constant fun and nature of the champions league.

To be honest, I don't expect Barcelona to go down to the Europa League this season. I just hope not to see it. Because they have made a big improvement compared to last season actually. I just didn't understand what was wrong with them in the last two matches here. They couldn't even score a single goal. But I don't think this will go on like this until the end of the group stage.

Barcelona are going to have a home match against Inter this time. They should finally be able to get a reassuring win and increase their chance of moving on here. This is a critical match in terms of being part of the Champions League as a result. Plzen are already an easy opponent. Let's say they got at least 4 points from Inter and Bayern Munich then it would be enough for them to qualify from the group. As Inter are recovering also Barcelona need to prepare being aware of this fact.
I agreed with you right now we can't talk about this who is going down and which team could be set for next round because both teams are going to face challenge of Bayern Munich which is surely not easy but here I am going to be favouring Barcelona because they can do better at home in next two matches first against Inter and then Bayern Munich which could be good for them with this now Inter is going to have two matches and both are on road against Barcelona and Bayern Munich, so their challenge is surely tough instead of Barcelona.

Many peoples are still having feeling about Barcelona is having more interest in La Liga instead of Champions League, but team like this can't ignore their chances for having double which is also possible even they are having some issues, but they can go through with full force in both competitions because they have enough man power for staying into both competitions and go through until end.

Sure' that's why barcelona must win the remaining match to go to the another round. It's very hard for barcelona since the points that collected by barcelona was only three points from all of previous match while inter was getting 6. that means if barcelona needs to win against inter to make the point will be the same. Bayern already confirmed to go to the next round. Im sure about bayern but im feeling doubt about barcelona right now. The chance for barcelona to make it is very small at this moment.
Intermilan is performing so well in the last match. Pressure is coming for barcelona.
If Barcelona didn't get enough points to enter the next round, Lewandowski will regret about his decision to leave Bayern Munich Cheesy

I'm surprised why many clubs can perform better than in their own local league, just like Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Liverpool. I've said Bayern Munich are lack of pure striker, but his performance in Champions League seems they're not really need it.

There were rumors that he would go to Bayern Munich for a while, and I'm sure Haaland would have performed like this if he had gone to Bayern. Of course, the good thing for Haaland is that City midfielders are so good that they send the ball directly to his feet and Haaland has to stand on the right place and touch the ball. Haaland is a top player and I enjoy watching him.
It would be stupid for Haaland to move to Bayern Munich since he was on Dortmund for 2 years, which mean he already have experience playing on Bundesliga. If Haaland is taking another challenge, he should try to play on Serie A where it's full of good clubs.

Napoli current form is surely one of the biggest shocking performance because as they sell their few top quality players there was talk they could be suffered badly but from the start of this season they are giving amazing performance in Serie A and Champions League with their win against Liverpool with the score of 4 - 0 is also telling all story how best they are in early stages of both competitions but here now it's time for them to keep momentum because they have history of chocking at the end of the season which is another concern for them in last season as well.

If they are able to keep playing like this surely we can expect good results from them in coming matches which is good for Italian soccer as well because in last few seasons they are suffering badly and have no positive results in European competitions, it's good time for doing their best.

I don't think we can deny that the performance of Napoli has been really shocking in the past couple of weeks. In addition, they usually perform well in the first half of the season. At the end of the season, however, they lose their way. This is something we have seen a lot of times over the years. As a matter of fact, the biggest problem with them is that they don't perform consistently in terms of their performance. As of now, they have not been inconsistent throughout this season. In my opinion, they have played quite well so far. Despite that, there is still a long way to go in this season. Honestly, I don't think they will be able to continue this type of performance for a long time to come.

But if they are able to consistently play like this I think we can expect a good outcome from them at the end of the season. However, as I mentioned earlier, they tend to lose their way toward the end of the season.

Things are starting to look up at Chelsea. Graham Potter and his team, who beat Milan 3-0 at home, will hopefully recover after this. It will be good for them to get at least a draw away from Milan next week. In fact, it is a group where chelsea will easily come 1st but the bad run has affected them. They still have a chance. If they win all their remaining matches, they will easily come first in the group.
In group E all teams still have a chance to qualify and only Salzburg have 5 points remaining while Milan and Chelsea have 4 points.
Next week will be another meeting for the second leg, of course with a draw it is not a good hope for Chelsea they want 3 points to look safe for a while in the group if a draw is still very likely there is a chance of qualifying but still competing with other teams but the only way is to win with Milan again I think that's what Potter needs to improve Chelsea's quality again.

Chelsea started this season very badly, both in the English championship and in the Champions League, but they are slowly raising the level of their game and I think they will almost certainly pass the group, as first or second.
The new coach has obviously done a great job.
If Dinamo beats Salzburg in Zagreb, then I think that until the end the fight for the second place in the group will be between Dinamo and Milan, and their match in Zagreb will probably decide.
I still give Milan a small advantage.
At the beginning of the qualifiers, everyone expected this to be an easy group for Chelsea and Milan, but until the end of the competition, it will be uncertain and exciting.

Chelsea has truly lived up to its name. They excelled physically in every aspect of the field. In the second half, Milan could not even leave the field, let alone find a position. They got all the spinning balls. They came out right from the press. The team started to find themselves, thanks to Graham Potter, this is how this team should play. If Chilwell and R. James do not experience similar injuries again, they will become indispensable names of the team for many years. Both are very strong and offensive players. Tuchell felt the absence of the two of them very much. I wish they played this aggressively in the Premier League as well.

This trio is strong on paper. Yes, let's say if you take Neymar from the time when he tried, the young Messi + Mbappe with a stable psyche, when he was not yet mired in money and jealousy, then it would be very cool. But in the existing reality, Neymar is good, but not as when he was considered the future undisputed top 1, Messi is old, and Mbappe is unstable due to many reasons. I don't like both of these clubs, but City >> PSG without a doubt.
If Paris Saint Germain have Messi, Neymar and Mbappe, then Manchester City have Haaland Erling who has played incredible this season. But there is something interesting in my opinion, they play as a team so I will make Haaland the main favourite. I'm not trying to compare, but now I see it that way, of course by seeing how they work together as a team, not individually.
Haaland is a good striker (maybe even become a great one) but in my opinion KDB is more important for City. Any top striker can be in Haaland's place - Mbappe, Lewandowski, etc. and show similar performance, but this will be a consequence of City's team play. There is nothing like that in PSG - they are still a team of stars from the farm league, there are no prerequisites for them to be consistently successful in the Champions League.

I agree with you. Manchester City's midfield is very strong. Manchester City's forward players are able to perform brilliantly with the help of strong midfielders. But Haaland is a very talented player. So he is able to score consistently in every match. However, if Haaland was replaced by Lewandowski or Mbappe, Manchester City would have been able to score a lot of goals. Almost every player in Guardiola's squad is very talented.

I believe Haaland is the best option to meet Manchester City needs. Whoever took Haaland right now, we would be watching this performance. Barcelona have to do what Ever they can, in winning inter Milan in the second leg at Nou Camp because I think that will be their last hope, and I think xavi should use more of experience than talent in that game,I would love to see kessie and Frankie De Jong starting, because for me Gavi and Pedri are lightweight and not too experience, with kessie and the Dutch so lawendowski will see more of the ball and he should also go with Torres instead of Torres in the starting eleven because is their last hope if not they will be playing Europa League next year.

Match week 3 of the Champions League end tense
The reason is, top teams such as Barcelona, PSG, Milan ended the 3rd week with results that were far from expectations. Barcelona's defeat made their task of qualifying for the next round even more difficult, because now Barcelona must work hard to restore the 3 points lost before when they met Inter yesterday.
While the competition in Group E is still quite fierce, Salzburg who is in 1st position with a collection of 5 points is only 1 point adrift of Chelsea and Milan who are in 2st and 3nd position in Group E.

Barcelona's standard of play in LaLiga and Champions League is completely different. Which surprised us all. With the way they performed in La Liga early on, I expected them to do well in the Champions League but they have only deteriorated. Now there is doubt about going to the next round.

Barcelona is in a hell group qualification in which there are 3 giant clubs there. Once one of them is lost, they will have a lower chance to be qualified for the next step. And here, Barcelona also has really tough opponents and matches. After the defeat by Inter in the last match, they will fight against Inter in the next match on Oct 13. This match will be likely the deciding match for both clubs, who has the greater ability to qualify for the next stage. It seems the two will be competing very tightly.
It's hard really not seeing Barcelona to be the threat here. A few years or seasons back and they would have been our favourite choice to winning the UCL trophy. Now, they struggle to earn a ticket to the round of 16! We might as well see them to the Europa real soon.

No doubt, Erling Haaland has found himself in the best team that suits his talent and has found favour with Pep since his arrival in Manchester City with his goal scoring ability. Now, his just the big dog in the house and has his assurances in and for the team. I don't know but, I won't want to trade players with him for either of the names mentioned above. They might be great players but, it doesn't mean every player would be better at Manchester City.

Hmmmm... im also choosing real madrid. People are feeling amaze with performance from city but i think that we must not forget one thing. Sometime people are believing in one team caused by its performance was amazing but there was a case when such team got beaten by another team in the final. that reminds me when chelsea against bayern muchen in the champion league. Chelsea able to beat bayern with a small score. That proves that if how good team perform during qualifier and it will not give guarantee if the team will perform better in the final.
Of course, we have our own beliefs about why choose Real Madrid and trust how Real Madrid sometimes makes miracles in football matches, and also how Real Madrid's performance was likely in the last season and during this season. But, I must also realize that Man City is also the one that also has a very big chance to get the title. This will not be easy. That is why we can see more exciting matches this season.

Barcelona have not been performing so good in the champions league this season and they have dropped down below second in the group stages of the UCL means they have to win the remaining games to move up the table and book a place to the round of 16. If it comes down to Inter and Barcelona being the same points, then it is going to look a lot worse for them, because even if they manage to promote, they are going to face a lot more trouble and fear with the idea that they barely got out, but if they can get out with something like win against all three on second round? That would give them a boost to confidence to make sure that they are doing fine and could beat anyone.
