As for SPG when they played at Bencifa's home, IMO, this match was very exciting, especially in the first half.
PSG really struggled when Benfica had a chance to attack. but PSG also did not lose the chances they had, 15 total shots, 7 shots on target, including Neymar's chances when he hit the post.
PSG owns 65% of ball possession, but what we have to admit is that Benfica is really able to keep up with PSG's game.
I'm a little different from you, IMO, SPG still has a big chance in this competition.
In this season UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid and Manchester City is the top two clubs, I just hope both of them aren't met on semifinal which mean one of them will be loss before become runner up.
Napoli and Bayern Munich will be a good contender, Benfica, Dortmund, Liverpool and Inter Milan is an underdog club. I don't see any chance for the other clubs to be honest including PSG.
Winning the Champions League trophy is PSG's main target, but unfortunately PSG always fail. Even though PSG have spent large amounts of
money to bring in many star players. What PSG management forgets is to win the Champions League trophy it is not enough just to have
a good squad, however, there must be good cooperation between PSG players. Because in football a strong team is what creates solid cooperation
between players.
Meanwhile, if I look at PSG's game, some players still play selfishly and rely too much on individual abilities. Especially PSG players are often difficult
to control by their coach and several times there are disputes between players. If PSG's situation does not change, it seems impossible for PSG to win
the Champions League trophy. Facing Benfica, it was seen how PSG players seemed to have difficulty scoring goals, even if Donnarumma didn't
play well, PSG should have conceded more than one goal. If I look at PSG's performance so far in the Champions League, it is not satisfactory,
and even I doubt that PSG can reach the semifinals.
