Which is another proof that teams playing in continental cups and playing in regular league games are rarely the same mindset. Frankfurt ended up winning europa last year, and they were something like 7th or something in the league if I am not wrong, Roma won the conference title for the first year, and they were low on the standings as well.

Real may have been a winner and finished well, but Villareal went further than anyone expected and not so great in the league. So, it's easy to see that teams play differently in UEFA cups, whereas they do not care about the league as much as they care about those games, they play with truly their 100% when they are there.

I won't be discussing Bayern in the domestic league in this thread but still focusing on those in the Champions League. Their strength is still too strong for Barcelona and Inter.
Currently their chance is very big if you look at the previous 2 matches plus their opponent in the third match is Plzen. But that doesn't mean it can be easy because they also have to know that underestimating the opponent sometimes isn't very good and they have to reflect on last season's defeat to the Underdogs in the knock out phase.

The difference in results from matches in the Bundesliga and the Champions League is one that needs to be considered

Inter had better be ready to play in the Europa League after the group stage as long as they keep up showing the same level of performance here.

They were really desperate against Bayern Munich despite playing home. They defeated Plzen but it looks like this didn't push them to play better even a little. Because they lost to Udinese by 3-1 right after that victory. They just can't do anything against teams that know what they are doing these days. Barcelona are one of those teams certainly considering their effort since the beginning of the season. Xavi has built a team that aren't mentally weak and they have improved their defending and attacking style quite much. I expect them to take advantage of Inter's weaknesses whereas they have the chance.

So I think of betting on Barcelona win @1.83.

2-0 loss might not seem like a big one compared to the last few times Barcelona lost against Bayern Munich. But in my opinion, a loss is a loss. I really think that Bayern Munich knows very well how to counter the tiki-taka style of football. And I think we all have to agree that Barcelona does not have a good defensive lineup. That is a big reason why they concede quite often.

Pretty much Inter has the 2nd in the standing in Group C in UEFA Champions League and will need to win against Barcelona that recently has lifted up to the ranks while inter has a match against Roma will surely have a difficult time in creating a win against Roma, because it might end up in a draw, while Barcelona having Lewandowski is not a push over the team, they surely have the firepower in winning against Inter,

Inter are right behind Barcelona in the group because of goal difference. They are very unlucky to play against Barcelona two times in a row now. Barcelona can get six points in total from these matches which would be the end for Inter in the Champions League. Inter are already too likely to continue on their way in the Europa League. They need to get one point from one of these matches at least to maintain their chance from logical and mathematical aspects at the same time.

But it is better to be realistic. Inter won't stand much chance against Barcelona especially in Camp Nou. They might try to defend them better in Italy but it can still end up with a sad result.

I will also be expecting Barcelona to win against Inter. Barcelona are in a much better condition than Inter in defense and offense both now. I don't know what has changed for Inter this season. They didn't change their squad much and even added Lukaku to strengthen the attacking line even more. He has been injured though but he is returning in less than a week. He can be a game changer of course but his return is still not a solution to this situation.

Inter will need to improve their performance as a team. They aren't like Bayern Munich as well. I mean that Bayern Munich are at least doing good in the Champions League but Inter are really bad in their league and here both. Barcelona are strong enough to make use of their vulnerability just as Bayern Munich did.

Yes, Tuchel is a great coach but he is not the perfect coach to keep his team in good form every season.
