Chelsea team as individual players are good very good but when you put them together as a team they are not very good. That is to show that Chelsea problem can be coaching problem. I wish that same thing will not happen to Graham Potter.

Qualifying for the next round of the Champions League will not be too difficult for Chelsea if they are able to perform consistently well. Chelsea will still have the opportunity to play 4 matches. If they are consistent and stable they can easily qualify for the next round from second place in the table.

I'm not calling Potter a bad coach. But he is not experienced enough to manage a big team like Chelsea. And so I don't think he will be able to change the team's performance very quickly. But given enough time, he might be able to stabilize the team.

Inexperience during champions league shouldn't be a problem because their opponents are not that much amazing aside from maybe Milan, so they should be second at worst no matter what. Potter has been a manager for a while now, but he hasn't really managed a team at the size of Chelsea before, and definitely never been with a club that spent 200+ million in a single off-season. After equalizing the points Juventus must defeat Benfica away. I know that they lost even in their home stadium but this isn't an impossible task. All they need to do is to strengthen the weak points in the team. Maybe they won't be able to do this by making transfers as the group matches end in November. But Allegri can still do this by improving the morale of the players as soon as possible. They still have a solid squad that is enough for qualifying from the group.

Chelsea officials must give Potter freedom in several matches as a form of adaptation with players and determine a strategy that matches the players they have in the Chelsea squad. It was clear Potter needed time to find the best formation for Chelsea as he had just inherited a team that was in disrepair. Chelsea officials should not be too demanding of a win from Potter, he will try to do his best to improve Chelsea's quality, but Potter needs time to make changes in the Chelsea squad.

Being inexperienced in big tournaments like this one might be a problem for Graham Potter maybe. They couldn't beat Salzburg for example but it was his first Champions League game at the same time. Chelsea still have four more games to play here. Nothing has ended for them yet but on the other hand they are going to play against Milan two times in a row now. This is the most critical time period of the group stage for them. If they don't get at least four points from these games then their chance to move on can be much lower depending on the results of Dinamo Zagreb - Salzburg games.

Chelsea have actually made the transfer they need for solving their scoring issues. But let's see how good Aubameyang will be able to perform. If he doesn't perform like he was at Barcelona then they might still have serious issues.

If chelsea can't win in EPL and i guess that if he would be in a big problem with chelsea's owner. he already bought from brighton and he must give the best for team to leave from the bad performance. This must become a test for graham potter

Honestly, I'm not sure how much experience the new Chelsea manager has in the Champions League?
Can he quickly raise the team's level of play before the two key group games with Milan?
If he fails, then this season could end very badly for Chelsea in the Champions League, just like it did for Barcelona last season.
The Europa League is certainly not the competition that the new Chelsea owners and fans were hoping for at the start of the season 

It won't be easy for Chelsea to meet up to achieve a better position in the Champions league because of their coach, if the coach is good enough it is very possible for him to achieve a lot within a short time from his player. Barcelona had the same challenge last season and they brought Xavi as coach, he was still able to strengthen Barcelona last season.  It is possible for Chelsea new coach to build up Chelsea back if he is good .

Chelsea need to fight very hard to qualify for the next phase in the Champions League because Chelsea are in need of full points in every game. Which means Chelsea need to win in four more games in this season's Champions League group stage. Because if it is not obtained by Chelsea, then the possibility of qualifying for the next phase is very slim, especially now that Chelsea is at the bottom of the Champions League group standings.

That is the true and ultimate test for Graham Potter. I am not expecting Chelsea to win the English Premier league, I am also not expecting them to win the Champions league, even the FA Cup and Curaba Cup they got to the finals last season, I am not also expecting them to get to the finals or win it. What I expect from Chelsea and their new manager is to be able to be in English Premier League top 4 this season. Staying in the top 4 is already a big achievement in this difficult season.

Salzburg is surely going to be a surprise package in this season as they already steal one point from Chelsea in away match which could be vital for them and if they are able to have some more consistency in coming matches this is going to be challenging for Chelsea as they are going to fight for place into next round and having only one point and Salzburg is going to host Zagreb in coming match and if they have three points then surely it's going to more difficult time for others to bring them down as AC Milan is also in good shape for early matches.

In first two matches they are having tight defense which are not allowing big teams to have better results against them with Zagreb already thrashed by AC Milan so look like we can have them in next round on the cost of Chelsea and then both Zagreb and Chelsea are going to fight for place into Europa Cup.

Whoever will manage Chelsea, as it is now, will have a big challenge to bring about a change for the better. nothing is easy, even a coach who has had a long experience in his career.

I think Potter knows very well that the task is very difficult, it is not easy to lead Chelsea to change with the condition of the players who are experiencing a negative trend.  he has to adapt to the existing players, without being able to recruit new players.  like it or not, Potter and his team had to trust each other and had to adapt quickly.
and if Potter is able to bring chelsea through to the next round of the champions league, I think that is an achievement for Potter.

Chelsea management appointed a new coach. Now the coach will adapt himself to the players. Find out the weaknesses of the team. And then take steps to strengthen the team's weak points. If Manchester united new coach can get it right few months ago in this season, showed that this Chelsea new coach will do everything within his power to make it happen in their remaining matches for the team to feel the positive change that will lead them to embrace the title.
