Again and again Real Madrid was not in the prediction, because the previous season also Real Madrid were not considered for the Champions League title but in fact they were kings. I just don't want to have high hopes for any team to win the title this season, because I am also aware that some big teams with great squads certainly have a chance to win the title. But again and again, they are still difficult to predict even from the start until the end, there will always be surprises which of course all teams fight as best they can.
Real Madrid were of course lucky after they were confirmed in Group F where the other 3 teams didn't seem like a big deal to them. I don't think we will drop points in the group stage even if Benzema is out through injury. Leipzig, Shakhtar Donetsk and Celtic seem to be easy opponents for Real Madrid, so I hope we are safe to lead the table until matchday 6.

For now I don't want to talk too much especially about the final yet to be seen. Even if Real Madrid can easily qualify for the last 16, it won't guarantee anything we can get to the final this season.
I think you are absolutely right here in the Europa Champions League it takes a long time but I think there are a lot of players who give their best game but from here I think it will be a long game and we will see good games.  We have to wait for him

Yes, it's too soon to predict now for the final later. although predicting it from now is also not a problem. but of course I also prefer to focus on the upcoming matches.
And regarding Real Madrid, it has always been a hot topic of discussion every season. because there is always something that deserves the spotlight of Real Madrid. Even Real Madrid's consistent performance has always been in the spotlight. and when it comes to being a champion. So of course Real Madrid have a strong opportunity for that.

I think, it will be difficult for PSG to win this season trophy because their starting in this UEFA champions competition, showed that they will not go far in this season if their coach continue benching some of the players that know how to attract early goals on the first half. If PSG coach can work on their midfield before their next match, I believe there will be massive change, because their strikers are lacking help from their midfielders. I don't think Ajax can defeat Manchester city in this season, because many things has changed in Manchester city in this season that will make them unbeatable through out this tournament.
One thing about predicting UCL is that you always missed it with big teams. Take a look at 2 season ago winners, Chelsea, they started off badly and then come February after changing coach they won it. Same thing happened to Real Madrid last season, they look a lost team in the group stages and even lost to new comers Sheriff, but they proceed to win it miraculously by beaten the best teams in Europe. Man City look sharp now but its just a start to the season and its also a world Cup season. Let's see till after the world Cup

The world cup tournament seems to tire the players a lot.  After crashing from this exhausting marathon and playing in the champions league, we may see more injuries this year.  Manchester City started very well.  Squad quality is also very high.  I think they can win UCL with Haaland this year.

Kikikikiki...you just made me laugh this night. I read your comment and remembered something. I was discussing football with my brother and at one point in what seems like an argument, he asked me to name to favourite clubs to win the Champions League. I quickly mentioned Manchester City, Bayern Munich and PSG. And I told him that these are surely one of the people we will see in the finals. I was now telling him to mention, he said how did I forget Real Madrid. I immediately came back to my senses that those guys can't be written off in champions league even if they decided to play with their fans instead of their players.
They are always underrated at start but they perform in the end.

Yes like Leipzig, Madrid just won in the last minutes (80' and 90'), and they have strong resistance from the Bundesliga club which I think will continue when have met the bavarian. Real Madrid is also not expected to be Champions in the Zidane era because too many clubs strong than them, but all the thing is not the same on the fields. And in fact, they are capable of being Champion because they have mental for that.

It will be difficult for Ajax, but not impossible. They still play both games against Napoli. Ajax must then certainly win 1x and not lose 1x. Then they are good for it. We can assume that Rangers will no longer play a significant role in this group. It is also possible that the Rangers will not get any points at all. Liverpool have recovered with a good game, but that can go wrong again. I'm looking forward to Ajax-Liverpool. If Napoli wins away at Ajax, then I think it is decided.

In my opinion, Ajax has a very small chance to qualify from the Champions League group stage, because in Group A there are Napoli and Liverpool
who are more superior to qualify from the group phase than Ajax. But if Ajax can beat Napoli in the next match, it makes Ajax's chances of qualifying
from the group stage more open. The key is in the Ajax vs Napoli match, Ajax must put out their best game and win the match if serious to qualify
for the next round. But if we look at Napoli's excellent performance by beating Liverpool and Rangers with a fairly large score, I'm sure Napoli will
beat Ajax. Moreover, Ajax is now not as strong as Ajax in the previous season, now Ajax have lost a lot of their star players who moved to other clubs,
then Ajax also lost Erik ten Hag as their coach. It looks like Ajax will fail to qualify from the group stage and will play in the Europa League,
because it is likely that in the end Ajax will be in 3rd position in Group A.

In group A Napoli lead at the top with an unbeaten appearance in the group stage. While Liverpool and Rangers accepted defeat in in their previous match with Napoli
Ajax will host Napoli in week 3 of the Champions League group stage next October, before this Ajax suffered a defeat against Liverpool. Even Ajax see unable to maintain their performance when they met Liverpool yesterday, then what happens when they face Napoli later.
This will make it difficult for Ajax to defend, I believe they will be eliminated to the group stage of the Europa League

One thing is certain that Real Madrid are always going to be secretly the biggest favourite team to win the Champions League title.  Grin

Because they have a huge domination in the Champions League if we look at how many times they have become the champions in the recent 10 years. Maybe they don't have the best squad among the teams now. But they are using their experience in this tournament very well. Ancelotti also has a system that works very well with the team now. Last season was not easy for Real Madrid at all. I don't know how they still managed to make it to the title despite every problem they had. Manchester City were nearly pushing them out of the tournament for example.

Will history repeat itself, I  certainly don't think so. A lot has changed in Chelsea, Chelsea players are been regarded as low-class players that can't reach the round of 16. A surprising turnaround can happen but let it not be too late before they start to adhere to the new coach's football patterns.

Real Madrid will not be that lucky this season. The god of soccer won't favour and be on their side this time around

As you said, strong teams often lose to weaker clubs. We can't predict it, remember that last season Bayern Munich was also the strongest club candidate before finally losing to Villareal which in La Liga they didn't look too good. The Champions League can motivate weak clubs to become strong and because it is a prestigious League there will be many unexpected possibilities. Man City, PSG and clubs that are considered giants must remain vigilant.
Surprise every possible, there must have been Villarreal and Salzburg last season was full of surprises but things like that are only limited to being a stumbling block because still when you are at the end the big teams are always at the top.
Currently in the group stage Club Brugge managed to surprise me in group B because with opponents who can be said to be quite well-known in the Champions League like Atletico, Porto and Leverkusen they now stand comfortably at the top of the group standings.
There is a bit of situation where they may think that they could end up with a good amount of "underestimating the opponent" going on as well. I am not saying that each loss attributed to that, but the example we gave, Bayern losing to Villareal was a typical underestimating the opponent.

Bayern was much better team, not even close on levels, and Villareal took that as advantage and used that to make a good unexpected win. Bayern thought they would win easily, 3-0 or 4-0 style, and they didn't expected a team that strong and united against them. These type of situations do rise up time to time and I believe that it could happen this year as well.

Ajax need a miracle to reach the final in the Champions League, but it is always possible if they can impress in every game and progress from round to round until the final. Their chances are very low compared to other teams, so I'm sure their journey this season in the Champions League will not reach the quarter-finals. Qualifying for the round of 16 is ok for them, but who knows even though Liverpool and Napoli seem to be stronger than them.
No doubt Ajax needs a miracle for reaching into Champions League final, but I have completely different view in this season as their group is having teams like Napoli, Liverpool they have very few chances going into knock out stage because they are not good enough to beat Napoli in away match and already lost against Liverpool with most chances they can face tough challenge against them at home as well with they already sell their few quality players which were able to give them good results and now surely they need miracle for going into next round in presence of these teams.

Currently, as they have funds from few transfers now time for them to have quality players which give them quality results in Champions League in future because now things are not easy for them in present.

I think Ajax are a good team but are not built to lift the champions League season after season, what happened to them reaching the final was a fairy tale journey, it happens once in a long time, so disappointed that Tottenham cut that story short, I think Paris Saint Germain wants to put that trophy inside their cabinet,it has been a long time and I think they have a better squad to do that now, last season was an adapting process for Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos I think these two can makes a difference this season, while Manchester city seems to have putting what has been missing in their team by bringing a striker like haaland so I think they might nail it this season.

The Ajax team is strong enough. And they are famous because of their amazing match strategy and gameplay. Despite having relatively few star players, Ajax's performance is very commendable. However, Ajax does not have the squad to qualify for the Champions League final. I don't even think they will qualify for the round of 16. They lost against Liverpool in the last match as well. They must win against Napoli next match. If they fail to win against Napoli, they will not qualify for the next round.

Ajax always have a good team that finishes either in quarters or semi finals of the champions league and each year their team is looking better and better. They can surprise and reach the champions league final but a lot of huge things need to happen for them .

So far we know Ajax as a dark horse team that often surprises in the champions league, but like you, I also really doubt if Ajax can perform well enough this season, indeed they are still in good form in the Eredivisie League but for the champions league it looks like it will It's very difficult to get out of the pressure of Napoli and Liverpool, last season Ajax could look quite impressive even though they were stopped in the last 16 because they have a capable squad, but this season many great Ajax players have moved to other teams so it seems that Ajax journey this season will only end in group phase as you said.

There is no doubt that Manchester City's squad and performances are stronger than last season. They have continued their good performance since the first match. Unfortunately, they are now second in the table due to sharing points from two matches. However, if Haaland is able to continue his performance, then we will see the Manchester City team in first place on the table very soon.
Arsenal is at the top of the table but they won against a relatively weak team. Manchester United are not stable enough, yet Arsenal has lost against them. So I don't think Arsenal can play well against strong teams. They are going to lose the top spot in the points table very soon.
It looks like the performance of Manchester City is getting better. and Haaland's contribution is indeed in the spotlight this time. for arsenal does not look as strong as manchester city. So I think it's true that Manchester City will soon be at the top of the standings. it's only a matter of time. but to be honest, previously I thought arsenal was really strong this season. But after seeing Arsenal lose to Manchester United I started to change my mind about Arsenal. but still arsenal also has a good performance when compared to other teams besides Manchester city.

Arsenal's recent performances have been truly commendable. They have occupied the top spot in the points table for a long time. We do not expect such a good performance from Arsenal. Because their squad is quite weak compared to City, Liverpool or Manchester United. However, they have been playing consistently well. But Manchester City has a strong squad. City is only 1 point behind Arsenal. In the coming weeks, Arsenal will face strong opponents such as Tottenham and Liverpool. And if Arsenal loses points in these matches, Manchester City will get a chance to go to the top of the points table.

Savvy words. Champions League is not like Eurocup or Wold Cup: it lasts many months, and in such a long time the performance of the different teams can vary dramatically. The case you quoted, Real Madrid's, is the most clear, but some people have very bad memory, sometimes.

I've checked the history of the Champions League and saw 0 finale between Real Madrid and Barcelona. It is very interesting, isn't it?

Real Madrid faced La Liga teams in the finale a couple of times before. There was a time period that Barcelona also were becoming champions here quite often. But they never came across each other in the finale. From now on, we have a really strong Barcelona despite losing to Bayern Munich like that. This team have a potential to be one of the number one title contenders in the near future thanks to Xavi's management style. Maybe we could see an El Clasico in the finale in the future too.

But for this season, Barcelona might not make a better progress than Real Madrid considering Real Madrid's incredible work here in the recent years. Real Madrid have an easy group maybe but they already showed how they can eliminate tough opponents one by one last season. Barcelona also need to prove themselves about this.
Interesting to watch UEFA Champion League final between Real Madrid vs Barcelona, looking on history many time have Spain final on UEFA Champion League between Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid and last decade with Real Madrid vs Valencia on season 2022 but never saw with El Clasico match on UEFA Champion League final. Include with bad achievement from Barcelona in Champion League because last final achievement on 2015 faced with Juventus. After 6 years later Barcelona always failed reach to final stage of Champion League, most terrible with last season Barcelona failed pass from group stage, different with Real Madrid almost five years ago always dominance reach to final and success get UEFA Champion League trophies.
