The Galatasaray team is one of the strongest teams in the Superliga. The understanding between the players in the team is very good. This is why they are able to play well despite having a mediocre team. On the other hand, the understanding between United's players is poor. And against Galatasaray, Manchester United is likely to lose. I would not say that Manchester United are favorites in this match.
Have problem with Manchester United performed very poor last match against Crystal Palace in Premier League and I don't think how compete for upcoming match in Champion League against Galatasaray who has impressive performed in domestic league. Still on bad performed with Manchester United this season, loss on Champion League match opening from Bayern Munich must get three points against Galatasaray if want qualify to next round.
There not really advantage with Manchester United match on their home, last Premier League match have loss from Crystal Palace although playing as home match but Manchester United can't get advantage moment in front of their fans supported.

A body is said to be hot but when compared to another, it's the same thing when you compare Manchester United with Galatasaray. They might be having good season in their domestic league but be poor here. The first match Manchester United had with Bayern, it was a heavy duty and they fought for the complete 90 minutes until they couldn't again, if it was Galatasaray that face Bayern Munich that very day, they will concede more than what Manchester United conceded that day, this is the league of Champions and what you represent in your domestic league is option here.

Manchester United might be stuck without any point but you see Galatasaray and Copenhagen, this two team will be the two team that wouldn't be going after the group stage, they look so soft and pass experience also matters a lot.

The previous EPL match result sometimes can't determine the result of UCL next matches. Man United may perform badly in EPL matches, but they looked not too badly in UCL match. Although Man United was defeated by Bayern Munich, Man United could score 3 goals in the match. They almost got a draw against Bayern Munich. So, I think they probably get a better result in the next match against Galatasaray. Moreover, the match will be held in Old Trafford, Man United home. I believe Man United players will have a better motivation to win the match.

I don't think the defeat against Crystal Palace will bring big impact/influence to the next match in UCL.

They will be aiming for the best result to ease their way out of this group stage, they will definitely not want to drop points in this match.
Their chances of winning this match are also greater than Porto even though they will act as guests.
Xavi must have prepared the best strategy they have, and not only that they must also have studied the game of this opponent and looked for gaps to be utilized there. Most likely they will be able to bring home points, even if they can't win, at least they will bring home 1 point.
I think the Porto vs Barcelona match will be quite exciting because these two teams both won in their first match in the Champions League. Even though Barcelona has quite a good advantage in their squad, playing at their opponent's home ground means they won't win this match easily. Because Porto will play with all their might to put pressure on the guests in this match. Apart from that, Porto is not a weak team in the Champions League so Xavi really has to fight to secure victory in this match.

Porto in the previous match managed to play quite well when they beat Shakhtar with a score of 1-3. Even in that match, Porto was able to score a goal in the early minutes, which Barcelona had to be wary of. Therefore, I think Barcelona has quite a strong opponent in this match, so my prediction is that the score in this match will be won by Porto with a narrow score.

Do you also think they can win back-to-back title here?

They're more favorites to become UCL champions this season, they have a smaller chance than Bayern Munich (@3.6), Real Madrid (@4.65) and Arsenal (@5.6). So, it's possible that they will become champions and lift the UCL trophy once again. However, IMO the strong candidates who will get the UCL this season are Bayern Munich, Real Madrid or Barcelona.

Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are other obvious favourites for the Champions League title of course. Real Madrid are already dominating this tournament for many years. They have had the most championships by a big difference. As for Bayern Munich they have also made a lot of progress this season. Tuchel's system works amazingly and Kane's arrival has made them even more productive.

I just doubt Barcelona for now. Their group is too easy for them though. They shouldn't have problems on destroying every team in this group. Only Porto might make difficulties but Barcelona should still be able to finish as the 1st. But the most important part is about what they will do against title favourites.

As I said before, it's still too early to say with confidence that Manchester City can return back to back to win the Champions League because it all still has to be proven and we still don't know what will happen in the future, especially for the knock out phase or quarter-finals which there are always surprises there.

Indeed, anyone would agree that Manchester City are very strong candidates but defending the championship is clearly more difficult than being a challenger so for now we still cannot be completely sure especially this is just the beginning and the Champions League has only conducted 1 match in the group phase.

In the early phase Ronaldo made Real Madrid win the Champions League twice in a row many times but I'm not sure if there is any other club that has done the same in their club and I don't see Manchester City doing that right now, they are not in that form and I'm beginning to have the same doubt because Rodri and De Bruyne that was absent yesterday, they couldn't beat ordinary Wolves that is battling the same faith with Nottingham Forest, lets even say that Rodri will be available all through the Champions League, what about Haaland, he looks helpless without Kevin De Bruyne.

I'm not also saying that Real Madrid will win this time around, they are in good form but I don't think they can go far, not with this winning mentality but luck might later comes in the way just the same way they made many come back in their matches in 2021/2022 before Benzema left the team. We might receive a shocking team that might go hard on these club we are anticipating and win the Champuons League.
As I recall when Ronaldo was at Madrid it was 3 times in a row not 2.
As for Manchester City, they also still have the same conditions because they are one of the strongest candidates with the players and coaches they have, especially with KDB who is always the motor of attack and there is Haaland as a good executor, they will still be the favourite only in this case of course we must be aware that there is a luck factor in the drawing because sometimes this also affects as well as several other conditions such as the loss of several players due to injury or getting punishment.

Regardless, it's fine to say for sure now that the favourites will win it's too early for me because at the end of the day we also have to be aware that the Champions League is still a long way away.

Although against Porto seems to be a difficult match for Barcelona because Barcelona will play away, but it seems that I am personally still quite optimistic that maybe Barcelona will still win even if only with a thin score. But indeed, even if for example the match ends with a draw, of course Barcelona still remains at the top of the standings. So yes, basically Barcelona still has a good chance in this group phase, because after all Barcelona has a good chance to be able to win group H.
They will be aiming for the best result to ease their way out of this group stage, they will definitely not want to drop points in this match.

We are all aware that the group stage for Barcelona is something easy (at the moment) after the previous 2 seasons they were always joined by big clubs but for this season they will not be too bothered because their opponents can still be said to be easy opponents in the group stage so this will not be a problem for Barcelona.
It would be outrageous if this season they also failed because with the strength of the team and their condition which is much better than before, it is certainly not something difficult to be at the top of group H.

Manchester United have started to seem really problematic recently. On the last week of the English Premier League they lost to Crystal Palace home. They are literally in 10th place in the standings with only 9 points in 7 games. I guess that this statistics is enough to show how desperate they are these days.

Manchester United tried their best against Crystal Palace, but they were not just lucky. Those who watched the game will really say they performed well, but they were not just lucky to score goals with the good chances they created. The way Manchester United are playing, I still believe they will start winning matches. If I have to judge them based on their style of playing, Manchester United will soon start surprising us by winning unexpected matches, but I think Manchester United currently need to address their players mentality of winning games.
Quote
On the other hand they seemed quite different in the Champions League so far. Their resistance against Bayern Munich in Allianz Arena was really impressive. If they can score 3 goals even there I'm quite worried about my team which is Galatasaray.

Scoring three goals against Bayern Munich is not a big thing nowadays because they are always open to scoring games they hardly defend, but the only thing that Bayern Munich has is that if they don't score, you will hardly score them, and even if you score, they will try to equalize, and if possible, don't score goals. Even if you want to win them, it may not be with many different goals. So now that Manchester United are playing against Galatasaray, I am not sure what will happen, but with their performances against Crystal Palace, despite the fact that they didn't win, I will say that Manchester United will play well, especially been their home game.

Xavi is still missing several important players following the away match against Porto. Of course this will be very detrimental to Barcelona in Portugal, but I'm not too worried as long as Barcelona has other players of comparable quality. Pedri, De Jong and Raphinha will probably be absent from this match, but Barcelona is still the favorite in this match.

Barcelona will fight hard to maintain first position in the group stage so that they have a better chance if they lose in the next matches. Xavi has a plan to win the away game and I think Barcelona can do it well.

Barcelona remains the favorite team even though this match is being held at the Estadio do Dragao, Porto's headquarters. and yes, it looks like Barcelona will not include Pedri, De Jong, or even Raphinha. These three players were injured. However, Pedri's status is scheduled to recover before this match starts on October 5. However, it is very likely that he will not be played immediately. As for Raphinha, I haven't followed the progress of his injury. However, Barcelona still has other options if he also has to miss the Champions League match later. What is certain is that Barcelona has players they can rely on even though several of their players are injured. Moreover, if we look at the temporary odds, Barcelona is still at the top with odds @1.87 and Porto @3.90.

Well, I think Barcelona must be careful and not underestimate the home team. because in any case, Porto will target full points to secure their position. So, it looks like this match will be quite an interesting match. The point is, Xavi must properly prepare his squad to face Porto. and I hope that Xavi doesn't experiment with rotating players in inappropriate places. and come on, let's wait for these two teams to meet in the match later.

There is always something surprising in a big competition. Even in the Champions League, we will still see weak teams suddenly becoming dark horses in the competition.
but there are several matches that will be very interesting to follow. Dortmund vs Milan. Napoli vs Madrid. Newcastle vs PSG.
The second match of the group stage will be the focus of fans' attention. Rather than betting on a match with a weak team against a strong team, I believe the Odds offer will be more attractive on a match where teams are equally strong.
There are several interesting matches in my opinion for the second match of the Champions League group stage, and here they are:
Napoli vs Real Madrid
Dortmund vs Milan
Newcastle vs PSG
Leipzig vs Manchester City
Porto vs Barcelona

Napoli played well in their last 2 matches in Serie A where they scored 4 goals in each match. Of course, Real Madrid needs to be aware of this because Napoli will also act as hosts in this match. Both teams seem likely to win, but a draw should be fair for both teams.

Leipzig vs Manchester City should be in the spotlight because Manchester City has not been very good in domestic competition in the last two matches. Manchester City lost to Newcastle and Wolves in two different competitions, while Leipzig managed to force Bayern Munich to a draw in the Bundesliga with a score of 2-2. The Porto vs Barcelona match is also interesting instead of Dortmund vs Milan, so we will definitely be presented with some difficult matches. But for tomorrow, yes it's about Napoli and Real Madrid.

Manchester United have a bigger problem to handle this season, Erik Ten Hag would exhibits experienced upper hand managerial attributes if he's keen on making the team a better one. UEFA Champions League is this new week, I doubt if Manchester United would be able to withstand their next opponents, because they're yet to earned any solid points, losing the first round of UCL to Bayern Munich, Galatasaray should be easy for them to battle with, but following their defeats against Crystal Palace in league game, doubts minds echoes, though we shouldn't worried because Erik Ten Hag have everything under control.

Manchester United performed well against Crystal Palace in the EFL Cup and against Bayern Munich in the Champions League. I thought Ten Hag might have been able to minimize the problems within the party to a great extent. But after United's performance against Crystal Palace yesterday, I think I was wrong. Manchester United's performance is still weak and erratic. Despite having a strong squad, they are not able to perform well.

The Galatasaray team is one of the strongest teams in the Superliga. The understanding between the players in the team is very good. This is why they are able to play well despite having a mediocre team. On the other hand, the understanding between United's players is poor. Xavi managed to do a very great job in Barcelona, do not forget that he managed to keep many players in the team despite the fact that the team had big financial problems. In the first round, Barcelona beat Antwerp without any problems, the second round will be more difficult, they will have to play away against Porto, I think even a draw in this match will be enough for Barcelona to retain first place in the group, this will probably be the most difficult away match for them. The games of this upcoming match day in the Champions League suggest loads of money to be made as the favorites are playing against weaker teams in much of the games.Of course let's not forget the referees play a really important role for the worse most of the time, just remember the Benfica-Salzburg game where the referee messed up everything and Benfica lost 0-2 because of the red cards.

Now I hope that things will change for the better during these games of Tuesday/Wednesday and we will all make money,as I said the big ones are playing against weak ones and I doubt a lot of surprise results will happen.

Though Manchester City has lost their last two games, I think they're still one of the best clubs at the moment and one of the favourite teams to win the UEFA Champions League competition this season.
Pep Guardiola as we all know, knows how to manage his team and bring out the best from his squad. Rodri's absence in their last two matches has been a very big issue for the club but with the return of the Spanish player, the club is surely gonna bounce back to winning ways.
we cannot compare Man City performance in domestic league matches with UCL matches because Guardiola as a coach will manage his players very wisely, maintain the quality of his players performance and always perform perfectly in the UCL and even though they lose in the EPL, it does not mean that Man City will also be bad in the UCL match later but just look this season Man City is still the EPL title holder and also Man City will compete until the final round of the UCL.

I dont make any guarantees, but lets see how Guardiola as a coach can be trusted to bring Man City to another UCL title even though the competition is a little more difficult seeing as Real Madrid has started to rise again.
It is still not showing any type of promise or hope for their future neither. I get that "resting" could be one of the reasons where you rest some good players, but City is a much much better team than Wolves at any time of the day. They should have won that game and they are far superior to drop points like this on a game like that. If that is an indication then there is a possibility that they could lose points on this game as well but on all likeliness they are going to end up getting a win.

We just need to remember, majority of the people said they would get three points from Wolves too but they failed, so we are expecting them to get three points here as well and yet they could end up failing to do that too, so be ready about it.
They were just unlucky in that match so they had to suffer defeat from a club that they could actually beat. If we look at the match statistics, then we will see a very far difference from Manchester City and Wollves . Wolves barely had any chances at all and they only had 1 clear chance that they could convert into a goal. While Mnchester City get a lot of chances, but somehow they are blunt in this match.
I don't think this will affect their mentality and affect their play in the Champions League.

This is what I would say as well about Manchester City as this loss today has shown and Leipzig will be highly motivated to beat them. If the Wolverhampton Wanderers can do it, Leipzig can definitely do it as well. Manchester City also had a few games this season that were not convincing at all. Some moments of luck and they have huge problems to use their control over the game and score goals. This is quite often the problem they are fighting against also in matches with weaker opponents. The only game with many goals was against Fulham, and if you deduct those 5 goals from the 17 they have, they are averaging 2 goals per game, which is quite low for them.

I also think they are the favorites, but not as much as last season.
Manchester city are favorite in UEFA Champions League and also the reigning champions, so they have everything within their disposal to reach crucial stages in UCL. Pep Guardiola was really dissapointed after his team recorded two concerts defeats, one in the Carabao Cup by Newcastle and the second one is against an average EPL club, Wolverhampton Wanderers. It's definitely going to be a tough run up for City because having a glance at their next game fixtures, they will play RB Leipzig in UEFA Champions League Round 2 and also meet Arsenal in EPL R8. I just they would get ready for the tough games ahead.

No doubt about that, it is now becoming more serious as the Champions League games progress. I also think that the game against RB Leipzig won't be a sure-fire success. RB Leipzig has the quality to score goals agains the best teams and if I recall correctly, isn't their still some unfinished business for RB Leipzig with Manchester City? Was ist last year? It will be a game with high intensity and maybe RB Leipzig have learnt their lesson. But at the same time Pep Guardiola isn't naive. I wouldn't take the loss in the League Cup too seriously as I think that wasn't the first time that Manchester City was defeated quite early. Although Guardiola loves all of the titles and was probably still pissed. But it's good that we have another week of Champions League ahead of us.

I agree with that, that Xavi should be credited for bringing Barcelona into good form after he joined. When he joined, Barcelona were not in a good state at all at the time Koeman left. But slowly he was able to make a comeback, and it was interesting when he managed to bring Barcelona to be runner up in the standings in his first season, and when entering the second season, he was able to bring Barcelona to become champions, yes despite the failure they experienced in the Champions League, because they did not qualify from the group phase.

He is very smart in seeing the ability of a player, and it must be recognized that most of the players he keeps are players who can contribute greatly to Barcelona. He is also clever in recruiting players, with their finances still unstable, of course recruiting players on free transfers is one way, and he did it.

Maybe this can happen because he understands Barcelona very well, yes it is inseparable from his experience while playing at Barcelona when he was still actively playing football. He knows very well what the problem is in the team he is handling, so that he can slowly fix it, from the way they play to the application of strategies that match Barcelona's style of play.

Perhaps one of the most awaited is their performance in this Champions League, last season they failed, and they should now be even better.

I don't think there will be many goals in this match.
