Yes, maybe Rodri's absence too or it could be the influence of fatigue in the short rest period that makes Manchester City play less confidently and suffer defeat, but I'm sure that won't happen in the UCL because of course they know how to prepare themselves for the UCL match later even though I I know that in the group phase that Manchester City are in, it's not too complicated for them.

But they lost two games in a row now. It doesn't matter too much because it was the League Cup only, but when did Manchester City lose two games in a row the last time?

They won the league last season because of the squad they have but right now the squad doesn’t have such depth again. So i wouldn’t be so confident on them too. My favorite to win will definitely be when the competition gets to knockout stages this way I can access the team and see which has settle down well
