After looking at the game statistics and performance between PSG and Dortmund there will indeed be an interesting match because they will both try hard to be winners in the first match of this group phase but I also think that PSG will experience difficulties when they have to oppose Dortmund.
However it is not yet clear who will win the match because it is still early days and of course both teams this season have similar weaknesses including PSG only relying on Mbappe to win and Dortmund have lost several of their mainstay players too.

If have the desire to bet on this match I prefer to take a draw or score between the two teams to minimize losses and in addition it is very difficult to predict who will win.

That is indeed a fact,,. Seeing now that Serie A and the Premier League are now much different games, obviously the Premier League is more competitive than other leagues, even though Newcastle have not been in the Champion League for a long time maybe that is another thing for now their performance has improved quite drastically, but I think Newcastle's game will be more aggressive like in the English league.

As it is in this match no one is favored by the bookies, both odds are almost the same, so so far indeed even though Newcastle are playing away but they can still dominate their game tonight.

M.City will have the easiest win tonight.

The most enjoyable game could be PSG-Dortmund. I will watch this game and Milan-Newcastle tonight.

I think Barcelona and Porto will get 3 points tonight.

The club managed to sign a few players like Sandro Tonali, Harvey Barnes, Valentino Livramento, and Yankuba Minteh. But these players are not world-class players that will give the team the quality they to compete in both the premiership and Champions League. They also lost some important players like Allan Saint-Maximin, Karl Darlow and  Chris Wood. I also expected the club to buy more players but, unfortunately, the club believes they have the required players.

I am not too sure that Newcastle will be able to survive the group stage judging from their recent display in the premiership.  They have lost three games in their last five matches. They would have been more competitive if they had maintained last season's performance.  AC Milan might not look like a formidable side but they are better than their English opponent having played four games and winning three. But there are some examples of teams that might be performing badly in their local league but excelling in the Champions League. The match today will determine how both teams will be evaluated in their future games.

Milan's annual experience of playing in the Champions League can only be explained by the fact that Serie A is not as competitive as the Premier League and there is always a place for Milan in the top 4. But this does not change the fact that the Premier League is stronger than Serie A, so I am not sure that Milan is the favorite in this meeting. The fact that Newcastle have a bad start in the Premier League does not in any way prevent them from playing well in the Champions League.

All teams will compete for 2 tickets to the round of 16, while one of them will compete for 1 ticket to the European League. This season, Newcastle doesn't seem to have much hope in the Champions League considering their performance in the league is not good. So the probability of winning and the possibility of them qualifying for the next round will certainly be lower than the other 3 teams.

Today Newcastle and Milan will play their first match for the 2023/2024 Champions League season, but I believe Milan will be able to win maximum points in this match compared to Newcastle. Even though Milan actually suffered a humiliating defeat in the derby match, I am sure they can be favored at home. The probabilities of both teams are the same, but I think Milan can be expected to do better because of their experience.

I do see where you're coming from, especially with Milan's pressing need to regain some semblance of glory after that unsettling loss to Inter Milan. And you're right, the injury situation for Newcastle makes it even more challenging for them. Still, one cannot deny the importance of this group stage. Every point counts. Drawing in the group stages might not seem ideal, but its better than giving the opponent a significant advantage. However, considering Milan's recent history in the Champions League and their home advantage, I genuinely believe they have the upper hand against Newcastle. The Toon Army, despite their passionate return, might just find this too uphill a battle.

PSG have had a tough start to the new season and I am not at all confident in PSG right now. The club had a tough time in the Champions League and in previous seasons. Now the Parisians don't have such a strong team. Maybe the French club will still surprise everyone and they will show a good result in the Champions League. But the situation in the French championship so far says otherwise.

Borussia Dortmund is a very difficult opponent. I do not think that they will lose in this match, even despite the status of guests.

After waiting a long time, Newcastle finally managed to qualify for the Champions League, but Newcastle journey was not as easy as imagined because they joined the Hell group. Two places will be contested by AC Milan, PSG, Dortmund and Newcastle. The strength of the three teams that are Newcastle competitors cannot be underestimated, they are teams that are challengers in the Domestic League. Newcastle, which is unable to maintain its good performance like last season, will find it very difficult to compete with these three teams. There is very little chance of Newcastle qualifying for the round of 16 if its performance is still unstable.

You are correct that Newcastle didn't have young players like PSG, but despite that, they will still face a strong opponent in the first round. Ac Milan vs. Newcastle and PSG vs. Dortmund are the two toughest matches for today. The other games are not that tough, so we can't compare them. I'm confident that even if PSG plays Newcastle, they will win against them because Newcastle's performance this season hasn't been what we expected it to be. Based on how they played last year, we all expected them to be stronger than this. It will be difficult for PSG to defeat Dortmund, but I have faith that PSG is going to win in this game. Dortmund are not yet that powerful, for this reason.

In group H, where Barcelona is up against a weaker opponent, I can only claim that Porto is marginally stronger than them and would have advanced out of that group stage if Barcelona hadn't been winning this round. To make their qualification task simple, they handed them weak clubs.

@naira Milan’s player’s confidence will be low after that brutal loss against Inter hence there’s definitely an opportunity for Newcastle to capitalise on. Furthermore Newcastle landed late which means it’ll effect their preparations for this match and while Milan is no doubt the favourites I yet feel that Newcastle can cause an upset here because they’re back in the champions league after a long time.

Champions League is back, and Man City already have it. Coming off a treble, I expected them to slow down a bit, but they seem relentless. They might have to balance their efforts between the EPL and UCL. Yet, what if they make winning a habit? Let's hope Man City continues to dominate every competition. Pep's side is exceptional, and they'll go far. I'm afraid they've even gotten stronger and turn out a force to be reckoned with. Watch out!

It's not just about you a look at other groups and you will get to conclude that group F is the hardest of them all. Newcastle lost the good defending they had, this season it is no more. They have struggled from the very first day of the Premier League.
Now facing Milan a big side will no go easy. Milan at home and first Champions League game for them this season, Ac Milan will shoot all they have against Newcastle.
Psg and Dortmund are also good attacking clubs this game will make both sides scoring or one of the sides who defense and scores well win the match.

A team playing at home is always more favorable to perform well because of the energy from the fans so even with Milan’s poor performance in recent matches I still think they can have a decent performance tonight and give Newcastle a tough opening match.

Bookmakers always weigh situations properly before deciding on the odds to give out so I don’t think they are right about their decision to make the odds even and probably favor Newcastle ahead of Milan. If Newcastle was to be at home they would have a smaller odd than milan. Betting on Milan is not a bad choice but it’s just their recent performance that bothers me.

My take on the game between young boys and leipzig, Young boys has since the beginning of the season on their local league have a record of six unbeaten games having played nine games in their opening, of all the six game played there were at home and YoungBoys won them all giving them a record of staying unbeaten at home since the beginning of the season, it's also Worthy of note that YoungBoys have a good squad enough such that the coach have many options to choose from of which they are all sound and fit.

Leipzig on the other hand have won four out of its five opening games it has played so far, their Loss was to a good or better said strong contender which can be considered as not a bad loss. It's also worth noting that Leipzig conceded just once so far, making them a matching contender with young boys going by the records they have kept since the beginning of the season.

Young boys could use the advantage of the game been played at their home as an advantage enough over Leipzig, tho they are both matching contenders going by their records and Leipzig has concede less goals, could this mean they have a fantastic goal keeper or their defense should be considered to be good enough?? Well I think predicting this game a win for Leipzig wouldn't be a bad idea because the German side wouldn't want to give to chance an opportunity to set the records for their opening in the champions league. A 1-2 win in favour of Leipzig is my prediction, if you must go by this please stake what you can afford to lose.

Indeed, Leipzig is not a big club in this competition, but they are very tough. Currently, Leipzig's performance is very impressive and they have won 3 times in a row in the domestic league. I think you need to know about the quality of the attack line led by Luis Openda, Xavi Simons and Dani Olmo. These three players are very dangerous when they are in the opponent's defense line.

It's true that both PSG and Milan achieved bad results last week, but I think these two teams still have the capability when playing at home. Maybe what needs to be paid attention to is how they will be able to lead by more than 2 goals rather than just a slight lead because this result is very vulnerable to a comeback from their opponent.

Apart from being unlucky, if Newcastle manages to take advantage of even the slightest gap by being able to provide a good game, it will have a very positive impact in the future. Sorry friend, but I'm talking about Newcastle, not PSG. If you compare with PSG they are different. PSG have better players. Even they have star players. So it doesn't feel good enough to compare them. PSG are in a period of player regeneration after the player leaves. As for Newcastle, they did buy players but they didn't have a standout player like Mbappe. I'm not talking about Manchester City friends either.

 
Checking both teams recent performances in my own view, I think AC Milan have more chances of winning than Newcastle. Newcastle's performance this season has not even given me any hope that they will go far in the Champions League. I have been watching Newcastle matches since their first match of this season, but seriously, it was only in their first match that I was impressed with their performances. I don't, but I am thinking that some of their players are a little weak, and that is why their performances are not going as many people are expecting.
 
As for AC Milan, they started well, but their last match against Inter Milan was really bad, and that is what has given me doubt, and I can't give AC Milan 80 percent chances of winning the game tonight with the way Inter Milan defeated AC Milan 5-1, which means that AC Milan is not as strong as I expected. So as AC Milan and Newcastle are playing against each other tonight, I can't really predict what will happen, but the way I am trying to understand the match, I have little belief that AC Milan will win the game because they have more experience in the Champions League than Newcastle.
