Nick Pope's performance in this match was very good, he was quite calm and made several important saves for his team. In fact, the analysis of several betting books about this match is reasonable, meaning that this match is really difficult to determine who the winner is.

Basically I tend to hope that Milan can win this match and they deserve to win it, but Newcastle's strong defense really makes all Milan's efforts fail. Milan fired more than 20 shots, but none of these opportunities turned into goals because of poor finishing and also because Newcastle's defense was really tight. It is true that this is a loss for Milan their efforts failed because Newcastle implemented double defense even though the final result was a draw of course Newcastle had the advantage I mean they can take advantage of the opportunity to play in the second leg and Milan's task will be even harder. Honestly, I'm worried that Milan will stop in the group phase especially those in the strongest group. PSG and Dortmund are waiting for them in the upcoming match, I don't know how Malin can collect points besides playing at home.

I was watching the game between AC Milan and Newcastle United, and it was a fairly normal match. AC Milan came close to winning especially in the second half. The Newcastle team was playing a highly defensive strategy and seemed determined to secure a draw. It was unfortunate that Leao missed that opportunity to score a goal but that's all right.

I'll be tuning in to watch FC Barcelona in a bit.

In the first half, Newcastle and Milan were still equally awkward in attacking each other. It can be seen how both of them are quite unfamiliar with each other's game and the first half statistics are very balanced. In the second half, Milan played more openly and actively attacked, but they couldn't create an opening when they were in the penalty box. Meanwhile, Newcastle was only able to defend and couldn't get out of the pressure and had difficulty building attacks. I realized that this draw was still detrimental to Milan because playing on their own field they were unable to score a single goal. Giroud and Leao have difficulty creating goal opportunities, so I think Newcastle is good enough to hold Milan with a score of 0:0. While Edin Terzic will likely settle for draw, moreover Dortmund are good when it comes to defensive strategy. Paris Saint-Germain vs Borrusia Dortmund is a tough fixture, I will just buy cheese and relaxed, wouldn't missed out on the game because I will be delighted to see entertaining performances from both sides.

I also prefer PSG vs Dortmund, and yes the result of this match will be difficult to predict because the Dortmund team can't be underestimated at all. Inded, PSG will be the favorite because they will play at home and odds for PSG is @1.71 while for Dortmund @4.30, but I think Dortmund team will make a very good effort in that match to get at least 1 point. But even so, PSG will also do their best to get the three points.
To be honest, I hope PSG can win very well but football is often unexpected.

Before the game started I knew Newcastle will be playing a defensive strategy to get an away draw but that's very risky as pressure will keeping surmounting which can lead to a goal or more. Talking about how Newcastle would have played better if it was last season, I disagree on that, this is UCL and experience as a regular attendant has so much effect on how a team can perform and I think that's what Milan is using against Newcastle "UCL experience".
