You can’t underrate most of these teams because they are fond of suprising us recently and their performance have improved alot. Barcelona are the favorites to top the group but they still have to give it their best, they should be serious in all matches as though they are playing the champions league final. The first could be tough but I don’t think Antwerp can keep up but Porto and Shaktar can suprise us.


We have seen teams like Benfica fight their way up across the knockout round to the Quarterfinals without any serious experience player in the squad. It not always about players experience but what a team can do collectively, Newcastle can suprise us with their performance even with lack of experience players because we have seen them do it in the premier league. The champions league is tougher but i have faith in them even if they don’t go far, i beleive their performance will prove what they are capable of doing.

There will be no miracles in this match. I believe Bayern Munich will easily defeat Manchester United. Manchester United shows their squad has no hope when facing the opponent who is supposed to be this season's champion. What Manchester United needs to do is protect their goal so they don't have to lose a big match in the first match of the Champions League season.  Erik ten Hag needs to think of a solution to stop Bayern Munich's strong strikers. If they lose this match, the recruits' morale will drop significantly.

I don't know still wrong with Manchester United and the only thing I can say about them is being unlucky in some games and about some players.
We can't blame Ten Hag for the bad things happening on this team because he also hired good players like Mason Mount but sadly even this player got injured.
Manchester United should get thing together and get ready for the Chmapnios Leageu maths or they will lose everything in the grouping stage.

It's hard to believe that Manchester United won't have an impact on form after the many problems they have faced in recent weeks. Manchester United have looked poor in their last outings and so far Ten Hag is struggling to fix those problems. Losing several players for various reasons will impact performance, so I think Manchester United will struggle in the Champions League if Ten Hag doesn't have a good solution.

Tomorrow Manchester United will play Brighton at Old Trafford. I'm worried that they will drop points considering Brighton's good form so far. Several important players are still injured, while Antony is also absent due to his case. Manchester United are really dealing with these problems as well recently. But I don't think they will be affected badly because of this news. At the moment they need to improve their current performance. Because they couldn't make a good start to the season. Even in a match they win they don't play convincingly well.

When it comes to their group in the Champions League Bayern Munich can already be seen finished as leader. If we think about which one of Galatasaray and Copenhagen might make difficulties for Manchester United I can answer it as Galatasaray. Because they have strengthened their squad with really quality players. But can they collect at least 3 points against Manchester United? It is still really difficult I think.

Barcelona face easily opponent teams in this group drawing depend last season they have difficult opponent from Bayern Munich until Inter Milan and can't qualified to next round. Its seems difference with this season of group stage opponent teams, Barcelona teams opponent looks not difficult against Porto, Shaktar and Antwerp have bigger chance for the first time in last two season for qualifying to the next round. Opening Champion League matches group stage, Barcelona against Antwerp I think great opportunity for Barcelona first three points in group stage match before facing difficult teams Porto or Shakstar upcoming match.

Looks second standings or runner up position is not difficult for Barcelona in Group H looking with the opponent  teams, seems Porto has opportunity will lead 1st or 2nd standings placed in this group.

Personally, I don't think newcastle will surprise everyone by doing something great in the champions league this season . The way the team performed last season was absolutely commendable. They performed well and finished third in the points table in a competitive league like the Premier League. However, this team is new to the Champions League. In Group F, Newcastle's rivals PSG, Dortmund and Milan have been in the Champions League for a long time. They have more experience than Newcastle. Because of this I'd say Newcastle's chances of qualifying for the knockout rounds are very slim. Also, Newcastle's performance this season is poor. They have lost three matches in a row. But the opponent was very strong. Even so, I don't think Newcastle can be considered Group F favourites.

Does anyone think that United may have trouble getting out of the group stages? I mean it looks like Greenwood had to be sent away, Sancho is having trouble, Anthony may have to be cut, Amrabat is injured, Varane is injured and there was one more player that mattered who was injured but I forgot who it was.

So, they are doing quite terribly right now and the team is in chaos at the moment. They have Bayern in their group which I am 100% sure that will end up being the first on the group, and the other two teams are Galatasaray and Copenhagen, do you think either of those teams have a chance to beat United because all the things going around with them? I feel like there is a possibility of it happening for sure.

I actually really don't understand why Eddie Howe doesn't buy star players to strengthen his squad so that they can better face the increasingly heated competition. Indeed, last season they showed surprisingly good performance, but at the start of this EPL league I think it would be better for West Ham in comparison with Newcastle United.

Maybe he is confident enough not to bring in players with more potential for his squad, who knows who knows what they think about this.

I did not actually understand why Newcastle team began to perform poor this new season. It is not that they sold players neither did they change their coach. The La liga league discussion here at be a little bit off topic,  but since this concerned two clubs that are also playing in the champion league or then worthy to note what is at stake for both Real Madrid and Barcelona and what stand against both clubs in the champion league,  bit the fact fhat Barcelonaade a very remarkable performance in the last season,  this is also I big threat to Real Madrid who was taken unaware by Barcelona in the last season.

But the difference now is that,  thos is a new season and Real Madrid have made a lot of changes to their player's formations and made a lot of new signing that will better the lots of the club in the present season.

Many people think that about Newcastle, but I think this is very normal. Newcastle could be said to have just risen and qualified for the Champions League, where for two decades they have never played in this competition again. Their performance last season in the EPL was worthy of appreciation, so they were able to qualify for this edition of the UCL. In fact, the Magpies are back in consideration after the change of owner, large financial support means the club can talk a lot in the transfer market yesterday.

We certainly realize that it is impossible to turn a club into an instant success, everything needs gradual efforts and Newcastle is doing it. Even though they are not favorites to qualify from the group phase, I think just taking part will make their fans happy. I don't believe anyone is expecting Newcastle to do anything like what Chelsea did in the season they won the champion league against all odds, Chelsea are actually a big club and I'm surprised they don't have more champions league trophy to their name. The current Chelsea squad (when they get their shit together) can do more damage then the Newcastle team. In the champions league experience has a major role to play and that's why we won the title ahead of Manchuria city because it was their first time getting to the final but they won the next time they made it to the final which is the just concluded season. Newcastle progressing in the champion league is going to make them weak in the premier league because they can't handle both pressure.


Thomas tuchel is more of an intellectual manager than whoever is coaching Newcastle United. Thomas tuchel also has many experience in the champions league and whoever is managing Newcastle probably don't have any champions league experience. Newcastle made a mistake of not going for Ronaldo as he won't have turned down the approach for atleast a season more in the champions league through loan and as for the fee, probably they would have found a way for Al Nassr to handle part of the fees. Newcastle don't have experience both on the players side and also the managers side but during Chelsea winning season we had some players with lots of champions league experience and also a manager that have taken top teams to an advance stages of the tournament.

Yes, in the past Shakhtar mnaged surprise Real Madrid but at least, with this incident, it should be for Barcelona to realize it and not underestimate the mediocre teams in this group. After all, in the previous two seasons Barcelona also got bad results by only being able to finish in third place, thus making Barcelona thrown into the Europa League. So, with this incident, it is also appropriate for Barcelona to be able to maximize this moment to be able to win the group. Because it is clear, at least the results on paper that Barcelona has a good chance to be able to win group H in the Champions League this season.

Last seasons performance sure did promote a club like New Castle United to a league they could only dream of winning. At least, they get to increase their desireship if they perform and come out on top of their group.
This is international soccer, and I don't think Newcastle will find it easy playing against sides from other leagues mostly those who are not new comers to the champions league.
 It's going to be a hard fight for them, hopefully they make it to the Europa league, there they can shine but I doubt they would really do much. They just don't have the grit in the squad to put on an outstanding performance.

To be honest, if newcastle has a very huge gap between the main starter compared with the second line up which was on the bench. There was no good winger that can play as good as gordon. The Premier League taught me that Newcastle has a hard time when substitutes take over for the main players. Your statement was true. I remember when newcastle was facing liverpool. The club's game play has been declining a lot when howe was substituting tonalli and gordon left from the field.
The players who have replaced those players are unable to show equal performance compared with tonalli and gordon. There are many things wrong with this club.
The gap between the skill and experience owner by main starter compared with substitution was too far. This will become an important that needs to be solved during the winter transfer season.
