Honestly I don't think these teams are really equal. Because that was the Europa League before anything else. Arsenal wouldn't show the same performance there and in the Champions League. The Champions League is the most prestigious tournament in Europe and I will be expecting Arsenal to care about it the same as the Premier League.

Therefore I think Arsenal will win their home game against PSV by at least two goals. Maybe the game in Netherlands would be tougher but I still expect Arsenal to play way better than the last game between them there. Arsenal can collect 6 points against PSV in my opinion.
The problem is that when we are talking about European competitions, league games do not matter. Arsenal was already a better team than PSV Last season and they lost, which means that they are still a better team today and could lose as well. I am not saying that they will, I am saying that the possibility is there and it's not impossible.

This is why I believe that it's hard to bet on those type of things, like European competitions feels so different from the league ones. The result is not the same in both of them and you get to see something that is a bit different. The clearest example could be how Sevilla played so badly last year, and they ended up winning the europa league, beating so many big clubs as well.

The Champions League competition is very mentally draining so PSV can easily go down or vice versa. It depends on whether the players are ready or not to face a club as big as Arsenal which is in top condition. However, PSV's motivation is still quite high and they don't want to slump at the start of the season. I will not doubt PSV's performance in the last few matches which seems to produce solid matches. On the other hand, Arsenal also needs to reconsider, Arteta cannot make the wrong decision again because his return to the Champions League must be utilized well. At least getting through the group preliminary round in my opinion will not be too difficult when compared to other groups.
Apart from Group F, there is no group that will be really tough for the favorite team. Arsenal are the favorites in my opinion, so they shouldn't disappoint because I know the quality of the team at the moment. PSV of course has a chance to qualify, but I'm sure other teams also have the same chance.

I agree that PSV is also good to look forward to, but who would have thought that Sevilla who are currently not in good shape might be a surprise. Sevilla cannot be underestimated even if they are not in good form in La Liga, so 3 teams between Arsenal, PSV and Sevilla are likely to qualify for the next round.

PSV can be a difficult team and I really wonder how competitive they can be against Arsenal. This year, Arsenal is starting to work with Arteta to avoid making the mistakes they made last year. They managed to become a young and offensive team. I don't think PSV can withstand them.

PSV cannot be underestimated and we agree that PSV can be a real threat to other teams in group B. PSV's first match will be at Arsenal's headquarters and even though it is very impossible for PSV to win, at least they have to try first. Nothing is certain in football and our predictions could be reversed by the superiority of the underdog team in the group. I think rather than losing, PSV should at least be able to hold Arsenal to a draw because after all an additional point will be very significant for the position in the group standings. So that when playing against other teams such as Sevilla or Lens, PSV will have quite easy obstacles to face later.

Maguire and Evans are too slow and they will be dead points in Manchester United defense system when facing with young and very speedy attacking players of Bayern Munich. Hope that Manchester United will not use both central defenders in the match.

Given how poorly Harry Maguire is performing for the team, I'm confident that Manchester United won't use either of their central defenders despite the losses he has caused them. In the Premier League, whenever he has played, the team has either lose or draw; now that we're talking about the Champions League, how can we expect the team to use Harry Maguire? If care is not taken, the team will continue to lose games this season if they don't move him to another club. However, with the majority of their players injured, I believe the team won't make any errors and won't lose any games. It's time for Maguire to depart from the team; West Ham should have continued to pursue his signing because Manchester United won't be able to see this much longer.

I think Arsenal will win the group because seeing Arsenal's game in the EPL this season is quite good with 3 wins and 1 draw. For second place, maybe Sevilla, why Sevilla? Even though it is not doing well in the league, in the European arena it cannot be underestimated. PSV is indeed good but in my opinion it will occupy the 3rd and final position, definitely Lens
Looking at the composition of group B, I have to agree with you regarding Arsenal chances of winning the group. However, I am a little doubtful of Sevilla runner up position and prefer to place PSV in that position. I don't doubt Sevilla quality and mentality when playing in the Europa League competition, thanks to winning it last season Sevilla qualified for the UCL automatically. I think everyone knows how Sevilla has performed in La Liga this season, they are not as strong as last season. With these facts, it can be predicted that Sevilla will find it difficult to qualify from the group phase.

However, that doesn't mean it's impossible for Sevilla to qualify from the group phase, anything is possible. It could even be that Arsenal, the favorite to win the group, experiences a decline in performance and the situation turns upside down.

Arsenal got a good spot I must concur and PSV has always been a worthy competition in getting  the team the three points they need. For the preliminary stages, I ain't scared until it gets to when the pressure of premier league and other league matches starts bumping weekend in, weekend out.
What the gunners need is a team that doesn't lack stamina or whose muscles bow to cramps once the game gets above 90minutes.

Based on their performance in the Premier League, Arsenal is the most favored team in Group B. Arsenal performed extraordinary in their last match when they destroyed Manchester United, they managed to break into Manchester United's goal three times which proved that the sharpness of their front line could still be relied on. Comparing the opponents Arsenal face in Group B will give them the opportunity to finish as Group Champions, while the runner up will probably be Sevilla based on their experience on the European stage.

I have no doubt that Arsenal will be group champions. Firstly, Arsenal are in very good form right now. The team is consistently playing well. And like last season, the bonding between Arsenal's players this season is fantastic. This is why their performance is stable. The team is capable of performing well even against big teams. Secondly, I would say that Arsenal's opponents in Group B are very weak. Sevilla and Lens are in dire straits right now. Perhaps these two teams are yet to win a single match in their own league. They are in very bad form. And so Arsenal will likely battle PSV for the top spot in the table. This team is pretty good. PSV has a number of talented players in their squad.

PSG will face dortmund while ACmilan against newcastle. It's very interesting to see newcastle to face acmilan caused by tonalli will face his former club. I remember when acmilan forced him to leave from acmilan and join in newcastle.
Tonalli will be working so hard in beating acmilan. Based on the current state of affairs, it appears highly likely that all matches in group F will conclude with both teams scoring.
This is the toughest group to me because it is not certain who will make it to the knockout rounds with PSG. All teams are performing well in their respective leagues and AC milan surprised us with the players they signed recently, they have added quite a number of quality players after Tonali left so let’s see what they can do and how far they can go. Dortmund have not been at their best this season, they drop points and draw with a newly promoted side which i think is not a good way to start the season but they can still improve and be a different team in the champions league though starting with PSG will be a very big test for them.

It's true that everyone constantly assumes Newcastle isn't up to the task because they only recently qualified for the Champions League, but I think they can compete just like everyone else. I have no doubt in them if they can simply strive to retain their performance from last season and play without any kind of pressure.  Ac Milan and Dortmund must make financial sacrifices or Newcastle will surprise them.

If Newcastle can reduce their nervousness because this is their debut then they can take points in this first match, and AC Milan cannot be careless at all in this match.
I don't see Newcastle having any problem of nervousness because of the caliber of players they have in the midfield, they mabe inexperienced in the league but they are players that play with full heart and give their all. Ac Milan is the perfect test for the first game to help boost their confidence when they win or draw but they can't afford to lose if they want to keep their hopes alive. Playing against PSG may trigger their confidence and may end up being nervous when they face Mbappe and Dembele so it's better to play them later after boosting their confidence level.

Group B is an easy one for Arsenal. They can even win all of their matches if they concentrate on all of them equally. They might be a young team now but they are still way more powerful than all of their opponents in this group. The only competition might be made by PSV against them but I think Arsenal wouldn't struggle against them too much either.

This feels like no different than a Europa League group honestly. I remember Arsenal and PSV in the same group there before.

When it comes to Sevilla's chance in this group I think they will finish behind PSV if they don't improve their current performance.

PSV are good and Arsenal having their first ecounter against them is good. Do you know? PSV might have a good dominance in matches against Arsenal but this time, If Arteta see things differently and was able to win them in the first round 1 group matches, the rest of the matches for Arsenal is going to be a bonus for Arsenal because the only team I think Arsenal should be mindful is PSV and having win them in the first round will be advantage for them, not only just that but the journey to beat other teams after that will be easy to accomplish.

If Arsenal could push Manchester United to concede 3 goals in EPL which is consider as one of the toughest league in the world, who is PSV that they can't pieces. Anything can happen but this is what the current Arsenal form can do because we are gunners and about history, they are not different from Arsenal in the Champions League; the last time they won, many of their players are not yet born.

And I am more impressed with this group, and group F can be said to be the hell group because it contains very good teams such as Paris Saint Germain (PSG), Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan and Newcastle in one group.
And these four teams have the same chance of qualifying for the next round, considering that the quality of the squad that all teams have is very good and will be a challenge for all teams and who will continue to the next round.
And these four teams will also prove the toughness of the new squad they have, and this will be a more interesting match compared to the other groups.
Whereas looking at the teams in other groups it is possible to predict that these teams can qualify for the next round but the teams in Group F are all equally qualified to go to the next round, so it is difficult to predict which teams from Group F of the Champions League will go to the next round. If PSG and Newcastle were the other two teams in this group, we might not be talking about Group F as much at the moment, but because every opponent in Group F is very difficult for every opponent, we are talking about Group F a lot. PSG will do well because Dortmund have lost their best star, on the other hand Newcastle did well in the Champions League last season but they haven't started this season's Premier League well so it could be a tough fight between Dortmund and Newcastle.

Arsenal first match in this competition and they will fight against PSV and this is very interesting because both teams have been met last year on Europa league and both teams have defeated each other which mean PSV can be considers as tough opponent for Arsenal especially PSV performance were increase rapidly because since July PSV has fantastic achievement and since that month PSV has through 11 matches with unbeatable status in all competitions and before they advances to the group stage PSV has been done a good job because they can able to eliminate Rangers with total aggregate 7-2 so although Arsenal is the favourite in this match but PSV cannot be underestimate because they have a potention to make Arsenal get in trouble

I think this game should end in favor of Arsenal although I know that PSV isn't easy to play against, but still the difference in quality is too much if everything goes as expected for Arsenal. It is also a home game for them, which makes it even less likely for PSV to come up with a surprise game. But there is still some time left until those games take place, but Arsenal should be off for a good start into the Champions League season.

After all, I think the teams in group B, at least it can be said that the teams in group B have a quality that is not much different. Thus, I believe the competition in group B will be very competitive because yes, at least every team in group B both have the chance to get good results. But regarding the match between Arsenal against PSV, at least at this moment Arsenal are still the favored team based on the odds available at this time. But even so, I also think that PSV is not a weak team at all. So, even though Arsenal have a good chance of winning, but it still won't be easy to beat PSV.

I think it is good for PSV to start with that game away against Arsenal. It gives them the chance to have their last game at home when perhaps Arsenal has already qualified. But for sure PSV is not to be underestimated as they had a great start and they have shown against the Rangers that there is no joking around with them. They also conceded only a single goal in their first three league games and while I know that Arsenal will be a different challenge of course, there is no reason for them to hide either.

I think group E also interesting to see because in my opinion at least 3 teams who had equal chances to qualified and probably only Celtic can be considers as underdog team because Atletico Madrid, Lazio and Feyenoord are equally strong and about Lazio finally after 3 years they can return to champion league again and last time they were playing at this competition on season 2020 at that time Lazio finish at second position but unfortunately at round of 16 they have been eliminated by Bayern Munich

Besides Lazio i am will looking forward to see Feyenoord performance this season because they came as Eredivisie champion status and that's why UEFA placed them in the pot 1 for drawing pot but last time they have been playing in this competition is 6 years ago and Feyenoord have to eliminate early because they have been displaying poor performance because Feyenoord only can able to gets 1 win from 6 matches and i want to know whether they can able to advances to the next stage or not because basically they placed into easy group

Actually, before that I wanted to discuss the teams in Group E. So, we agreed that the teams in Group E were quite interesting for us to predict. because, it seems like there is no team that is too dominant even though Altetico Madrid is the favorite team. However, considering that in last season's competition, Atletico Madrid's performance was really under-performing. This season it looks like Atletico Madrid has a big chance of qualifying for the next round, Diego Simeone's squad performed quite well at the start of this league season.

As for Celtic, even though this club is said to be quite strong in its domestic league, it is not in the Champions League competition.  they are a mediocre team. but we'll see, because I also doubt Lazio's performance in this group phase. This team from Serie A is not performing very well, we will see when they play their matches in this league. The reason is, their opponent in the initial match was Atletico Madrid. It's not an easy matter to overthrow Diego Simeone's squad.
As for Feyenoord, this team was the champion of the Eredivisie league last season and was one of the strongest teams in the group phase. They will meet Celtic in the first leg, but maybe this match will provide a surprise. because apparently, these teams have never met in the Champions League. If I have to assume or speculate, ATM and Feyenoord have a big chance of continuing to the next phase.

From group F, Newcastle United is the team that makes me most curious about their fate in this tournament, while the other three teams have competed here very often with all the achievements they have achieved, while for Newcastle this is a new challenge, especially for Eddie Howe and the team who dominate with young players.
But I was quite surprised to see that Newcastle was not considered an average team when they faced AC Milan later, Looking at the odds which are not much different, and it appears that Newcastle will be able to provide resistance to AC Milan and is even considered to be able to create a surprise even though their match will be held later. going to AC Milan's home ground.
If Newcastle can reduce their nervousness because this is their debut then they can take points in this first match, and AC Milan cannot be careless at all in this match.

Group F was the most challenging group compared with the rests of group in UCL group qualification. All the clubs were placing at the group F were strong teams on their domestic competitions.
Im thinking this group become the hardest group to predict. Im aware if some teams like newcastle, PSG and acmilan are equal.

I think it depends on Newcastle and whether they will find back their strengths from last season. They have had some struggles so far. Dortmund is also leaving some bad impressions until now and looking at their squad player by player I believe they are the weakest team in this group. PSG's team is quite good and I believe they can step up their game if necessary and they still have Mbappe, which I think will make a big difference in the CL. That is what Dortmund is missing, a really strong striker who is ready to score from the first to the last minute. They have also played horribly bad as a team so far, many mistakes and unforced errors. You could see that they aren't as dominant during the games and that allows their opponents to work out some chances. How can a team that was promoted from the 2. German Bundesliga have 14 shots in Dortmund?

My guess is 1. AC Milan, 2. PSG, 3. Newcastle and 4. Dortmund.

PSV are in Group B and we can all see the form of performance shown by each of them in their domestic league at the start of this season. Of the four teams there, I think there are only two teams that are really strong at the moment, namely Arsenal and PSV because the other two teams are still quite bad in their respective domestic leagues so there is a possibility for PSV to qualify for the next round in Champions League although maybe PSV will not be ranked first in group B.
Group B has a much more balanced representation of team strength and in my opinion it will be difficult for this group to see who advances to the next round because almost all four representatives have almost the same quality. Arsenal has a slight advantage after seeing their performance in the Premier League and in my opinion, of the four teams Arsenal has a much greater chance of qualifying for the next round. The rest depends on how PSV, Sevilla and Lens perform because if you look at the performance in their respective leagues it will be quite difficult to determine who will qualify.

The Champions League results cannot only be seen in the domestic league because there are big differences when they play and here also determines mentality and experience. My prediction is that PSV or Sevilla will most likely qualify with Arsenal, Sevilla has a good mentality when playing at qualifying level and is very different when playing in the domestic league like when they won the European league last season but that's just my prediction.

Arsenal was always dominating the game with more ball possessions, while PSV was always using counter attack. Arsenal needs to be careful as PSV was strong enough in beating arsenal.
This is will be an entertaining match for sure.
Both of their performances are equally good in the domestic league but it seems that even in sports betting, Arsenal is more favored than PSV, playing as hosts at the Emirates stadium, of course this will be an interesting match, especially in front of all Arsenal fans, Arsenal must be able to win in the first match UCL group phase this season, I see Arsenal with the current main squad is quite good.

At least they can win and score more than one goal, I'm not an Arsenal supporter but I'm sure Arsenal can beat PSV easily even though PSV can also give Arsenal a surprise, but several players in Arsenal's main squad from the back line and the front line have good enough to show their best performance, Arteta must encourage all his team not to disappoint all the fans and get a win against PSV later. my prediction is 3 - 1  Wink

PSV was very strong like arsenal. Didn't you remember when arsenal played against PSV last season in europa league?

These are the result from last matches between arsenal vs PSV

Arsenal 1-0 PSV
PSV 2-0 Arsenal

These clubs are equal. It's hard to pick which club that will be able to perform better during the group stage. I don't wanna mention lens and sevilla caused by im still waiting for them to make their miracle.
The possibility for the result of this group is arsenal or PSV will be on the first and second position.

Im also anticipating the comeback that can happen from lens and sevilla which are still struggling to solve their internal problems.

@Velvet78 Arsenal has changed tremendously from last year and not only do they have an improved squad but the player’s are playing terrific football at the moment and thus I believe that they’ll easily defeat any team that comes up in their way once the champions league matches begin. Furthermore I believe that we all can agree that Sevilla will be knocked back to the Europa league because season after season they end up there and go on to win it.
