It's been years now in which the decadence of Galatasaray is evident. In the past it was a very strong team, from which even Italian teams had bought important players. I'm sorry that it is reduced in this way, economic problems I assume.

The performance of galatasaray was decreasing a lot. The thing that i can accept if the previous game was happening away. The next game is gonna happen in galatasaray's home which makes me believe if galatasaray will able to win against zelgiris in upcoming game.

The big surprises was the second goal that happened at 90+1. Zalgiris was very lucky to made one goal before the referee blows the whistle.
This is the hardest match to predict and i hate draw. I hope that galatasaray will not repeat the same mistake again. The club needs to be even more consistent in defensive line when it was coming to the end of game.

Man i cant know how many bets crashed because of Galatasaray performance today, what a disaster, you cant draw against a little team like Zalgiris, no matter if they were in their home, you are so much bigger than them.

And plus Galatasaray put the whole starter squad, it wasnt a subs team.
Due to the unfortunate result that Galatasaray encountered, my bet ended up being unsuccessful. I was picking multi bet but galatasaray has become the only team that doesn't even meet my prediction. My disappointment for this club is zalgiris's goal in the last minute of match.

Galatasaray was fucked me. Am feeling doubt to pick this club again for the second leg but since next game gonna happen in rams, it would change my mind. Galatasaray is not as strong as before. So many changes in the club have been transforming this club into the weak club.

Zalgiris potentially wins the second leg but the chance is lesser compared with the first leg. Galatasaray is gonna host the second leg.

Same as mine and not only Galatasaray, also Molde who is a better team than Helsinki ended in a draw which constituted two big surprises for yesterday Champions preliminary games.I know that both teams will have an easy time qualifying as in the return leg they will play at home but why risk it,any early goal from the opposition team and it can complicate things as further as making a huge surprise that we see these teams that should be playing in group stages go out already in the preliminary games,so yesterday Galatasaray just complicated things for themselves.

We know that sometimes such eliminations can happen in the early stages. It was the first official match played by Galatasaray and Galatasaray could not play a successful match. There were big differences between the teams. Only Zaniolo is worth more than the opposing team. As such, football is such a game, even if we expect a clear difference. The match ended in a 2-2 draw.

Watching the game, Galatasaray have it all, full dominance to win the game but they left everything open for their opponents to hold on to, ofcourse Zalgiris is no match for Galatasaray. The lions boss, Okan Buruk knows specifically how to handle his opponents, which he eventually did, the thing his club was unlucky with their numerous counter attacks and domination. Let's say luck happens more often in football games. Average club like Zalgiris Vilnius managed to draw the game against an elite club like Galatasaray. It's really one tough game for Zalgiris but they managed to holx down Galatasaray to a 2-2 tie on the scoresheet, with a good defensive strategy.

I could only watch the end of the match when Zalgiris scored the second goal and made it a draw. Before the game I was sure that the Turkish club would be able to score a lot of goals and win the match. But later looking at the statistics, I realized that the game was with a slight dominance of Galatasaray. They must win a home match.

There is a new speculation out like UEFA might think of accepting Saudi teams into the Champions League as well as of the 2024/25 season.

If this really happens this can change many things in this sport. Many more players can start to think that it is worth joining those teams more than before. Just think about that, Saudi teams will also be able to play in the most prestigious tournament in Europe. Players can still compete here while making tons of money. This will probably make sense for more players.

Money can really change many things in football. But for now this is a speculation as I said.

I believe you are correct because of how these Saudi Arabians are acquiring players from Europe and many teams, it appears that they are attempting to control everything related to football. I have never seen a team that can afford a player more than the Saudi Arabians, and this will also encourage some players to consider joining them. and once players have arrived, they will begin to take actions that will compel them to join the champion league as well. However, I believe that this process will be drawn out and possibly impossible because the Saudi Arabians already have a champion league that competes in their region, and the European league is different from them.

However, if Saudi Arabia joins the champions league, I don't think it will make much sense because the league won't be very interested again because there will be a lot of teams there performing, and no matter what, the Saudi Arabian people will also want to control the league, which will cause a problem. Ronaldo has already stated that he is no longer interested in returning to Europe because he knows that many star players from different teams in Europe will likely leave the continent. What I'm trying to convey is that the league won't be as keen in Saudi Arabia joining the Champions League as it has been in the past.

But never forget that Mbappe sometimes has this losing body language on the field when the game doesn't go well. He tends to complain about others as well and if he realizes that there is nothing to be won for that PSG team in the Champions League, the whole PSG - Mbappe connection could end with an even bigger bang than it is already.
It appeared more in the past season after he signs a new contract with PSG and got more power in PSG. Is it only because of Mbappe or PSG should be responsible for his negative body language in some matches?

PSG must be responsible for Mbappe reactions on field too and their relationship is going to its ending in this summer. PSG hopefully will learn some lessons from their broken relationship with Mbappe to act more wisely with their star players in future. Their bad strategy began with the transfer of Neymar from Barcelona and how they easily accepted similar reactions of Neymar when he tried to show his bigger power against his team mate, Cavani. Mbappe just repeated it in the last season and he did it against Neymar.

I would be very happy if that were true (and probably Ronaldo would be very happy too as he was able to continue to improve his perpetual record), but it seems to me that UEFA will never go for it. If players from Europe who left for Saudi Arabia retain the opportunity to play in the Champions League, then the flow there will only increase and the situation in Europe will worsen even more.
Such terms must be proposed and need a long time to be approved. Now we only heard about that idea and no official proposal yet so any final approval decision will not come in this summer or even next one. Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo is couting down very last seasons in his career and I mean last seasons at best level. He can play till 50s if he wants like Kazuyoshi Miura, the Japanese player but will he be good enough for Champions League at such age, not.

I expect Mbappe to take this offer and play for them for one season. After that he can still join Real Madrid side as Al-Hilal also offer a condition like that to him. In this situation PSG will need to make a big signing. Bringing Vlahovic wouldn't be enough at all. I think they should look for a bigger talent such as Osimhen.
I read in some news said that if mbappe was feeling doubt about such an offer. Mbappe may try to stay in PSG even though he must be benched for the whole of season. Vlahovic was not enough in making the attacking line to be even better.

PSG gets draw against CR7's club. It's very bad result for PSG

If Mbappe stays at PSG for this season I don't think PSG would bench him. It wouldn't be reasonable for them. In that case as far as I know he is going to get that loyalty bonus anyway. PSG would like to benefit from his skills as much as possible in his last year in the team then. But his future is still not certain so let's see what happens. In case he surprises me and decides to stay I wonder how things will be with a team in Luis Enrique's control and Mbappe in it as well.

Luis Enrique adopts a quite different system you know. I wonder how much his control possession understanding will work for PSG in the Champions League.

No they would not bench him unless he keeps attacking his own people in public and denies to work hard in the training sessions. Otherwise the authority of Enrique would severely be undermined if Mbappe can do whatever he wants, perhaps even comes home late from short trips and stuff, and he still plays the games.

As Arsenal were not able to perform very well last season. So the team will want to repeat their traditional performances this season. The team management will surely want to start the season with the players of the team.
Last season Arsenal didn't play in the Champions League, they only played in the European League if I'm not mistaken the last time they competed in this tournament was the 2015-2016 season because in that season they managed to finish in second place in the English premier league, they were able to qualify for the group phase but in the knockout round they met Barcelona immediately and lost with a sizable goal aggregate 5-1, after that Arsenal have not managed to play in the champions league again then in the new season they will be competing here again.
I don't know what their best achievements are in the champions league but they are not a club that considers so much in this tournament, and this year when they will compete doubts remain because most of their players have no experience in the champions league, even in the European league they have not achieved good results, so Arsenal will have difficulty here, competing with other big clubs, the players they buy to strengthen their game will probably need time to be able to bring Arsenal into a strong team in the champions league.

As Arsenal were not able to perform very well last season. So the team will want to repeat their traditional performances this season. The team management will surely want to start the season with the players of the team.
In the last season, of course, Arsenal will learn a lot to overhaul more of their squad, besides that they will also add a number of new players to fill in on several lines to strengthen the defense as well as increase attack power better than last season, last pre-season lost to Manchester United, I think Arteta needs to test some of the right strategies for new players so they can adapt properly.

I want to see Arsenal perform better than last season even though I'm not fully an Arsenal supporter, their failure to get the EPL champion failed because of Manchester City, Arsenal have certainly learned from that failure and this season which will soon start, of course Arsenal need a lot of preparation especially in the UCL next season they will also face many great clubs, moreover, they will of course be divided into focus apart from the domestic league as well as focus on the next season's UCL,

I was happy about the tittle won by Manchester City, they performed well and they really deserved the win, but I was just disappointed in Arsenal, because I didn’t know their performance is going to drop and they will start performing poorly when they were having just few matches left to go, Arsenal lose and draw the matches which they are suppose to have won which cost them not winning the league. Manchester City performed well in all the leagues they participated in last season because pep Guardiola tried his best for Manchester City last season and they won wan three leagues last season which is the FA cup, premier league and the champions league, don’t be surprised that Pep Guardiola will also want to repeat the same thing next season.
For Arsenal it's a tough test. Last season they haven't felt a moment like this one. Under the circumstances of a busy schedule in some competitions. So there should be an adjustment, and that has passed Arsenal in a few seasons. So Arteta must be ready to rotate players. Maybe he will fight a lot of fatigue and injury. But perhaps the selection of young players is part of the strategy for this season. With this strategy, maybe their stamina and strength are still good enough to fight with a busy schedule.
Arsenal will want to complete a season injury free. Last season we saw them get off to a great start only to have a chance of winning the Premier League due to injury problems and eventually being beaten down by injuries. Arsenal are certainly gearing up for a new season. If there is no injury problem in the team then this team will definitely do well in Premier League and Champions League. Since injuries are their main problem, the players must perform with maximum caution because when every player in the team is injury free, the team performance will be better.
I see that Arsenal is solving this problem, now it seems that Arsenal is making several transfers that allow for an equal quality between the main and reserve players so that if there is a player rotation it will not have a significant effect on the team's performance.
I think it's very likely that Arsenal will do well in the Champions League next season, the quality of this team is increasing now and they deserve to be reckoned with.
Arsenal have already made several transfers to improve the next season and they may make some more transfers before the transfer window closes because the last season was not up to their liking so they will want to improve the next season. This season Arsenal will aim to win the Premier League title as well as do well in the Champions League. In the Champions League they will definitely play according to plan and some teams they will target teams against whom they will only care about winning and if they can't win the match against a stronger authority than them, they will try to draw the match. Manchester City and Manchester United will be the biggest obstacles for Arsenal in the Premier League next season. If Arsenal can do well against these two teams then surely they will win the Premier League title next season.
As Arsenal were not able to perform very well last season. So the team will want to repeat their traditional performances this season. The team management will surely want to start the season with the players of the team.

They have been missing here in Champions League and I don't mean physically but showing the good football they always used to when they were at the time under the lead of Arsen Venger many years ago. From there on I have not seen some brilliant performances from them during the time that they have been participating here but I agree with all these transfers they are making most likely they are going to do well here in the upcoming season.

I am not expecting them to be in the final or something similar but they should at least be in the quarter finals if the draw puts them in a non lethal group, although I would definitely love to see them in the same group with Barcelona,City and Bayern Munchen for example.

I honestly didn't watch the match today, but I went to check the stats after the match, and you're absolutely right! Galatasaray played really badly but they were also very unlucky to concede the equalizer in the 92nd minute. It should be considered that currently they will not be in perfect shape, but rightly those who bet on this match gave Galatasaray as an assured winner given the opponent who found themselves in front
It's a shame that the victory in front of the eyes had to disappear after the opponent managed to score an equalizer and Galatassaray had to pay for all this in the second leg which will take place on 3 August. In the second leg, Galatassaray will play as the host and for sure they will not lose their momentum to excel on aggregate. As for Zalgiris, they had to withstand every incoming attack so that their chances would increase. If the game comes back to a draw then Galatassaray will be under pressure and sometimes they will lose focus. I think Galatassary should finish it in 90 minutes normal time.

I was very disappointed with Galatasaray's performance. Galatasaray is a strong enough team. FK Zalgiris is not a very well-known team. It was a completely unexpected result against a team Galatasaray couldn't win against. Moreover, Galatasaray's performance was not very good. They managed to make a total of 8 shots in the entire match. In this match, Galatasaray should have played an attacking strategy from the beginning of the match. But they were more focused on keeping the defense tight. And more importantly, Galatasaray conceded a goal after 90 minutes. Galatasaray should have performed more carefully in this match.

Galatasaray faced with Zalgiris Vilnius in the first match of the UEFA Champions League 2nd qualifying round. Galatasaray drew Zalgiris Vilnius with 2-2. Galatasaray had a very bad performance against Zalgiris Vilnius, despite the big difference in quality gap. If the Zalgiris Vilnius strikers were more finishing, they could win the match.

It's been years now in which the decadence of Galatasaray is evident. In the past it was a very strong team, from which even Italian teams had bought important players. I'm sorry that it is reduced in this way, economic problems I assume.
