No they would not bench him unless he keeps attacking his own people in public and denies to work hard in the training sessions. Otherwise the authority of Enrique would severely be undermined if Mbappe can do whatever he wants, perhaps even comes home late from short trips and stuff, and he still plays the games.

But never forget that Mbappe sometimes has this losing body language on the field when the game doesn't go well. He tends to complain about others as well and if he realizes that there is nothing to be won for that PSG team in the Champions League, the whole PSG - Mbappe connection could end with an even bigger bang than it is already.
I am sure that they can bench him if they want to but they need the go ahead from the management as well. I mean it's all about how you could end up with getting rid of a player, if you do not play him and make it very clear to him that you are not going to play him, then he will leave himself. This requires the team to realize that they want to get rid of him no matter what.

But since PSG is a French team and Mbappe is France superstar, I feel like they will get a lot of heat if they do not play him and that's why I am expecting him to play in every game he can. The way to get rid of him is to just make sure you talk to the agent and make it known that you do not want him on the team, if you can do that then it should be fine.
If PSG has made a bad decision against Mbappe, I don't think PSG's decision will be well received by the French fans. The ferocious attitude of the French fans towards Messi and Neymar has already been revealed, so if the club makes a bad decision against Mbappe, the French fans will not leave the club. PSG have confirmed that Mbappe's verbal agreement with Real Madrid has been completed just one year before Mbappe's move to Real Madrid. Before Mbappe left for Real Madrid, he had a big offer from the Saudi League but I don't know exactly what Mbappe will do about that offer. But if there was any other player in place of the kind of big offer that was made to him, he would have accepted this Saudi offer without thinking. Now it remains to be seen what decision Mbappe ultimately takes

It would probably be just daft for Mbappe to leave Europe at the start of his career for the Saudi League... Old guys like Messi and Ronaldo have gone there for the huge money and quiet life, they are already world players and have achieved a lot... Mbappe's journey is just beginning and he has a lot of different victories and titles waiting for him, which he can't get playing in the Saudi League...

The best option for PSG is to persuade Mbappe to take the deal and move to the Saudi league for a season. The deal would bring in some money for the club and would go a long way in solving lots of issues. And I honestly don’t see Mbappe leaving for Saudi Arabia anytime soon.
There’s no reason why a coach would have his top asset sitting on the bench during games. Whatever issues there is between player and manager, the manager would want to win games and Mbappe could help him do just that. Mbappe is a player that at the moment, can’t be kept in the sidelines.
It is difficult to predict Mbappe future now when you look at the transfer situation involving several wealthy clubs such as Real Madrid, Al Hilal and Chelsea.  all possibilities can happen because PSG will accept offers from any club as long as they meet the set price.  Currently Real Madrid is number one because it is claimed to have made a personal agreement with Mbappe.  Thus PSG current scenario is to sell Mbappe before the transfer window closes, because the contract renewal has been rejected and Mbappe insists on staying at PSG despite being under pressure, not being played all season even though it is detrimental to PSG itself.

It's strange that now PSG and Mbappe are in a difficult situation, on the other hand Real Madrid is in an advantageous position because it is the club that Mbappe wants, by stalling for a little time until the end of August will put PSG management in a big loss position, Madrid will submit a proposal at the right time.  short it and of course the price is no longer in accordance with PSG expect.  If not released then Mbappe will go on a free transfer, Perez is very good at taking advantage of this type of transfer situation.
The PSG team has implemented many strategies to do well in the Champions League. But so far it has not been successful. It remains to be seen what kind of changes this season will bring.

Man i cant know how many bets crashed because of Galatasaray performance today, what a disaster, you cant draw against a little team like Zalgiris, no matter if they were in their home, you are so much bigger than them.
And plus Galatasaray put the whole starter squad, it wasnt a subs team.
I honestly didn't watch the match today, but I went to check the stats after the match, and you're absolutely right! Galatasaray played really badly but they were also very unlucky to concede the equalizer in the 92nd minute. It should be considered that currently they will not be in perfect shape, but rightly those who bet on this match gave Galatasaray as an assured winner given the opponent who found themselves in front
It's a shame that the victory in front of the eyes had to disappear after the opponent managed to score an equalizer and Galatassaray had to pay for all this in the second leg which will take place on 3 August. In the second leg, Galatassaray will play as the host and for sure they will not lose their momentum to excel on aggregate. As for Zalgiris, they had to withstand every incoming attack so that their chances would increase. If the game comes back to a draw then Galatassaray will be under pressure and sometimes they will lose focus. I think Galatassary should finish it in 90 minutes normal time.

I was very disappointed with Galatasaray's performance. Galatasaray is a strong enough team. FK Zalgiris is not a very well-known team. It was a completely unexpected result against a team Galatasaray couldn't win against. Moreover, Galatasaray's performance was not very good. They managed to make a total of 8 shots in the entire match. In this match, Galatasaray should have played an attacking strategy from the beginning of the match. But they were more focused on keeping the defense tight. And more importantly, Galatasaray conceded a goal after 90 minutes. Galatasaray should have performed more carefully in this match.
With the results of this match we can know that we shouldn't underestimate a team whose quality is far below. Maybe next time Galatasaray will have to be extra vigilant by exerting all of the team's abilities by winning at least more than 2 goals so that the distance that can be chased is also very difficult for Zalgiris. Apart from that, with the same aggregate number, of course the two teams still have the same chance and in this case Galatasaray cannot be confident in being able to beat Zalgiris easily again.

Galatasaray will have to improve their teamwork in the second leg and if they can do that well then there is no doubt for them. But a little advice, if later someone wants to bet on the Galatasaray vs Zalgiris second leg match, it's better for us to take the result of over 1.75 or 2.25 goals because both teams will definitely score again to be able to win the match.

well I would say that an opponent should never be underestimated especially when this is on paper the weakest, I still remember a real Madrid vs sheriff in the Champions League, where the sheriff beat the galacticos at home. here in my opinion galatasaray shouldn't fall into the trap of underestimating their opponent, and given the parity in the score in the first leg both will try to score goals so I agree with your advice

Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are both lacking an important thing in their squad now which is a striker. They both have strikers in their squads technically of course but they don't have a reliable one for especially the Champions League. Bayern Munich's performance was quite inadequate for this reason last season as well.

Real Madrid have also lost Benzema and loaned Joselu. But Joselu has surely been brought as a replacement for their future main striker. But they have still not made up their mind on a target yet. There are only rumours on the internet.

But I believe both teams will manage to solve their striker problem before this transfer window closes. But I can't be confident about the time period before the season starts officially.
Bayern Munich Must be aware of this. Because it's true that Bayern munich weak point is the front line because they don't have such a quality centre-forward to score goals. Bayern munich lost to Manchester city in a friendly match where the final result was 1-2 for Manchester city's victory. So Tuchel must see their weaknesses after they were defeated by Manchester city.

One of the big efforts made by Bayern Munich was to bring in a sticker in this transfer window, which never worked. But bayern munich bid for Harry kane is still there if Bayern munich is able to increase their bid on the new proposal most likely Bayern munich can overcome weaknesses in the front line if they manage to get harry kane. For real madrid they have names of attackers they want to bring in like Mbappe and Vlahovic.

Bayern Munich fired their last coach because of their bad unstable results and the bad relationship between him and other players and now Tuchel started working there while they are going to have some friendly games and if Tuchel gets bad results in these games and some games in the first weeks he can get fired just like Nagelsmann because they hired Tuchel for achieving something in the Champions League.

The best that can happen for PSG right now is if they can convince Mbappe to take the Al Hillal deal. That deal solves a lot of issues for PSG. They would not have to pay Mbappe the agreed 65m, they also receive a huge sum for Mbappe and have money to spend on other signings.
I'm just trying to imagine PSG benching Mbappe even the champions league and I don't see a scenario where that happens. It would be a disaster for bother Mbappe and PSG.

Mbappe is a young fantastic player, and I think any club that owns him will be very proud of him. They won't be happy to see a young great player leave their team, either, because it's really uncommon to find a young player with his level of skill on the market right now. I think PSG understands the worth of mbappe in the team, which is why they treated him with such respect. I might even argue he deserves it because he has been giving it his all for PSG, which has greatly aided the club's success.

Regardless of market value, Mbappe is unquestionably the best player on the planet right now in terms of performance, and every organisation would want to have him on their roster. A tremendously talented player who is capable of scoring in every game, Mbappe reminds me of a young Cristiano Ronaldo in his heyday. He is the kind of player who has the power to decide a game on his own. He received superb treatment from PSG and performed admirably for the group. The team must respect his decision to leave as a result. But it only makes sense for them to make a sizable profit from his deal while he is still young, considering the size of their investment in him.

Arsenal really shouldn't be underestimated next season, especially in the Champions League because Arsenal themselves are also very aware that they still have to improve on existing deficiencies to be able to wade through an even greater next season. And not only in the Champions League, Arsenal must be taken into account, but also in the Premier League must also be considered from the start of the season, because Arsenal will try to be consistent from the start of the season to fight for the title next season.

Arsenal can correct their mistakes from last season, but I believe it would be challenging and could take some time given the team's recent addition of two new players and adjustments to the midfield. The midfield was incredibly well-coordinated and had excellent communication skills last season, which I think takes some time to develop. As a result, I don't think the midfield's communication will be at the same level as it was last season. Instead, they will need to start from scratch if they want to compete in the Premier League next season. I think they can perform even better the next season if they can contend for it like they did last year.

Since the champions league is quite demanding and this is their first appearance in a while, they truly needed to strengthen the squad in order to compete because otherwise they would have lost their chance to win the champions league for the first time ever.

The strongest teams in the world are seeking forwards and Bayern Munich is still trying to find a player to have a replacement for Lewandowski, and Real Madrid is trying to do the same thing about Benzema but both teams failed so far however some strikers like Osimhen, Kane, and Mbappe are available.
There are numerous strikers in the market, but they come with hugh valuable prices. Given their current situation, the Bavarians missed the presence of Robert Lewandowski at Allianz Arena, whereas the Los Blancos missed the presence of Karim Benzema at the Santiago Bernabeu. These clubs have had a difficult time; perhaps they are healing and channeling their remaining available energy into something more beneficial. Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are looking for a striker on the market. However, these elite clubs were greeted with devastating news, since they were missing strikers.

Mbappe knows this is a threat that PSG cannot uphold so he's not shaken by that threat. There's is no way PSG will bench Mbappe for a while season. With Messi and Ronaldo out of Europe, Mbappe is arguably the best attacker on the continent, so I don't see how a club can have that kind of player and put him on the bench for a whole season. That is a threat that hold no water.

we can start the speculations and what will be our favorite teams for next season
obviously Guardiola's team played impressively, barring twists and turns, they remain one of the favorites alongside Real Madrid of course

What do you think about it?

----
the thread will be updated and closed after the end of UCL of course

----

Don't forget that some of the key players who performed exceptionally well and were present last season are no longer with the team, such as Gundogan, who played an excellent midfield role for Manchester City. Before fc Barcelona signed Gundogan, I was criticizing the player until two of my friends who knew him and had seen him play numerous times told me that he is one of the best midfielders they respected and adored, One person even said that Gundogan is superior to Kevin De Bryun, who is widely regarded as one of the best in the world. However, after watching some of his highlights, I was persuaded and developed a strong liking for Gundogan. Therefore, no one can yet predict whether Manchester City would perform like they did or even better than last season.. That is my personal perspective.

Real Madrid's sale of Benzema is as a result of the fact that Benzema is of age,and wants to try a new challenge elsewhere. The team needs to give younger players some chances to improve and show their abilities in the team as well. When Christiano Ronaldo was in Madrid,Benzema wasn't the main man in the team because  there was someone who was ahead of him in goalscoring which was Ronaldo, but since Christiano left to another club,it has been Benzema that has been scoring the goals and has been the main man in the team, therefore, opportunities needs to be given to youger players so that the future of the team will be guarantee.

I know Real Madrid needs to go into the market and sign players whom they think can give them results that they want, but I still think giving young players opportunity to shine is another way of discovering future stars. In addition,Bayern Munich does not need a striker, all they need is a good coach that can integrate the players together, and bring out the best in them. They have Serge Gnabry at that team, they also have Sane and Mane that are very sharp in attack,so the Idea of adding another striker is not really necessary to me.

I would be very happy if that were true (and probably Ronaldo would be very happy too as he was able to continue to improve his perpetual record), but it seems to me that UEFA will never go for it. If players from Europe who left for Saudi Arabia retain the opportunity to play in the Champions League, then the flow there will only increase and the situation in Europe will worsen even more.
Such terms must be proposed and need a long time to be approved. Now we only heard about that idea and no official proposal yet so any final approval decision will not come in this summer or even next one. Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo is couting down very last seasons in his career and I mean last seasons at best level. He can play till 50s if he wants like Kazuyoshi Miura, the Japanese player but will he be good enough for Champions League at such age, not.

The next season of the Champions League will already be held in a new format (Swiss system) and I don’t think that anyone would be upset if one more was added to this change. But I understand that you are talking about bureaucracy and of course such changes will not be made so quickly.
As for Ronaldo, I don’t know what form he is in now, but in my opinion, until the playoffs, the level of play will be very low, especially for weak teams (due to the new regulations).

That scenario is not going to happen to Kylian Mbappe especially since PSG have given him some talking and deciding rights. He is a special player for PSG and I think PSG have indulged him a little too much instead of forcing him to be a more mature player.

If in the end Enrique will bench Mbappe for no apparent reason, then perhaps Enrique will not have many seasons at PSG. But things could change now that PSG have lost patience with Mbappe who wants to leave at the end of the season. PSG have tried to convince him to sell the player instead of incurring a loss at the end of next season when Mbappe's contract expires. So they have to sell him regardless of whichever team is interested in him.

Before the match between Ludogorets and Olimpija Ljubljana I thought that Ludogorets will win this match. I thought it would be something like yesterday's Dinamo Zagreb game. But so far they managed to equalise after conceding a goal in the first half and their game does not look good. I don't know what will happen in the second half, but it seems to me that the chances of winning are the same.

What happened to Arsenal last season is a lesson for the team, and I am sure they will never make the same mistake they made towards the end of last season, both in the Premier League and Europa League competitions, which they had hope of winning but failed due to a lack of squad depth.

Therefore, with the way Arsenal has been busy in the transfer market trying to get enough squad depth in order to avoid the mistake they made towards the end of last season, Arsenal should not be underrated in the coming season's Champions League because they are no longer an average team like we used to know; they are now a team with a lot of world-class players that have the zeal to win trophies.

But I believe both teams will manage to solve their striker problem before this transfer window closes. But I can't be confident about the time period before the season starts officially.
Strikers are presently in short supply and are a huge issue for almost all major teams, with the exception of Manchester City.

All of the big teams need a solid striker like Haaland, and while we all know that there are only a few world-class strikers available in the transfer market, most of them are unwilling to leave their clubs.

Perhaps some young strikers will shine brightly in this Champions League since world-class strikers are scarce and their teams are unwilling to let them leave.
