It's still too early, the transfer market even isn't over yet and the strong candidate teams to win the Champions League haven't even introduce their main squad for next season. The issue of transfers for top players is still blowing like Victor Osimhen, Kylian Mbappe who is link with Madrid, Harry Kane with Bayern Munich, Manchester City will face obstacles if some of these issues are realize before the season starts, especially Real Madrid and Bayern Munich is the candidates strong at UCL.
Even the opening match has not happened yet. People were speculating if Manchester City could take the trophy again.. It's caused by city is still very strong at this moment.
Even though some key players were leaving from the club like gundogan and mahrez or even walker. The club has recruited new talented players who are as skilled as the departing veterans. I see no problem when people are talking about which club that potentially win UCL.
The transfer season has been making the situation in the club become dynamic and that's unpredictable. There will be so many changes for the upcoming seasons, especially for manchester city.
Manchester City fans were too excited early on to say that they were the strongest team in the Champions League and no one even matched them, I just laughed. Grin

Some of Manchester City's main players have left, but there are other rumours that Walker and Bernardo Silva will also leave Manchester City, what if they really do leave? It will certainly change the scheme of their game, but I know the anticipation of a coach Pep Guardiola who will continue to maintain the performance of his team, but still if some of the main players of Manchester City leave then this will be a little decline although what I say is not necessarily, but my prediction about the Champions League is still difficult to be ready for the strongest candidate.

While the transfer window is still open anyone can offer the players they want including Manchester City players.

I think a statement as you mentioned it can be true, but it doesn't mean that Manchester City wins every single game. I think everyone would agree that Manchester City was the best team in Europe in the last season and that no other team was able to match them. But when you take a game like that between Manchester City and Inter, the voices saying that Manchester City will win easily weren't that many. This is also how I see it. Being the best team overall doesn't guarantee a win in the final. But given how they dominated Real Madrid in both games together, they were the best team for sure. Next season could be different, but in my opinion they will again be among the top favorites.

Did you wanna say if city was lucky enough caused by another team performed poorly during last season? i can't even agree with you. What about arsenal? You are only taking MU and Liverpool while arsenal played so perfect since early of season.
I can't even agree with you. The fact that if it's not all of clubs were playing so badly. Some clubs even make impressive performance during last season. The main reason if manchester city was reaching its peak performance last season.
There is also a chance for chelsea to repeat the same thing again next season. So many clubs have been trying so hard to prevent city.
Even city has been facing the difficult way to win UCL last season but city was over power last season. I just tell you this if the domination by city may continue till next season.
Of course I also think like you. They seem to be very dominant. Although there are some players who leave, Pep has players who come. They look very perfect, so the possibility of them winning again is open. At the moment Pep is in the best team condition. I think they became one of the potential champions. The Haaland factor is still the key to Man City favourites to win.

So far, I think Messi departure at the end of this season will also make their front line lose a little sharpness. I think in the Champions League this season the teams that are really in the top right now are Manchester City and Real Madrid and Barcelona. PSG will try to make a big change in the depth of their squad where they get rid of players who are entering their old age by buying good quality players at a younger age. And they will try to make changes to prepare their strength for next season's Champions league.
Actually, given the information according to which Paris Saint Germain owner Nasser Al Khelaifi held a meeting with Harry Kane's father and brother, I would not bury PSG's prospects for the Champions League this season so much, after the loss of the decrepit Messi. Moreover, Luis Enrique approved this transition. The club intends to strengthen even now, and talk about PSG stopping buying superstars and betting on young players is heard every year after the club's relegation from the playoffs at an early stage, but still does not gain reality.

I cannot deny that things here with Harry Kane if he goes to PSG would really be something great, because the gap left by Messi can be half covered with this player, firstly because he has a lot of quality , secondly because the team needs a lot and the third would give PSG a lot of oxygen, because despite everything Ney is still recovering from his injury and pMbappé cannot do everything alone, if he goes with a teammate like Kane it would be the perfect complement, I just hope that Mbappé leaves his pride to that he can accept Kane's style of play.

The way you say it, I think it's very possible , although to be honest I would prefer that Kane go to Bayern, just to see this team grow even more than they are, and that the Bundleisgta gets very nice , and How they will be at UCL as he would be the perfect Complement as a replacement for Lewa.

Manchester city, will still dominate the Champions league next season, there is not strong team to stop them, almost all the big team has sold their best players to the Saudi Arabia pro  league. it will not be bad if Pep Guardiola will it double, he deserves it.

I think that way too, but UCL always gives a lot of surprises. This season includes Inter who are not expected to enter the Final. At the moment Man City is my first seed. Maybe besides Man City this season Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, are other clubs that may be able to reach the Final next season.  Others may be PSG and Arsenal.
O yes, I read if 2024/2025 there will be a new format. There will be 36 teams to increase the amount of income. In addition, in the round of 16 there is a possibility that teams in one country can play each other.

It is not only Man City that is in the world or that are the best. There are also strong clubs out there who will partake in the champions league that have learnt their mistake from last season and they are doing everything possible to make sure that they can be the winner of next season. Man City might not take their preparations that serious because they are still in a joyful state, and this can affect their performance next season. One shouldn't underestimate any club that is playing in the champions league because all clubs are champions in their various domestic league. If Mbappe can go to Real Madrid, who is Man City that will challenge them. I also looking forward to see Bayern Munich and Barca to see their performance this season in UCL.

I think that City has already done enough to be at the top, and of course the celebrations, everything related to it is something that will always be revealed, and Pepe Guardiola is someone who knows how to do things, he already showed us that he is capable of reading any game with great accuracy, that is something that I admire him, it reminds me of when he was the coach of Barcelona, he was incredible but he did not give Real Madrid a chance at that time, all that experience is very Currently valued and applicable at City.

Barcelona is a team that promises, it may be that they do things better in the UCL, everyone expects that, we have to see how things continue to develop, for now the expectations are very high in the UCL.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, is preparing its Arsenal and very possibly without Mbappé, because the news has already stated many times that they were interested in the Frenchman, but as I have said on many occasions, saying no to Madrid once is like tell him no forever, since the white club has not yet given second chances, I don't think they will give it to them this time, however, you have to wait for anything, as they say over there, you have to let yourself be surprised.

Bayern Munich managed to perform well in the Champions League this season, but ultimately failed to come close to winning the title. But Manchester City is truly a complete team. It's worth believing that this team will surprise next season.

What I'm looking forward to now is the pre-season games that the big clubs will have, especially those who will be in the Champions League next season. For me pre-season matches are very important to measure and test the strategies they will apply in the competition later, also I want to see the game of new players who have just joined the club club.
In pre-season matches, all strengths will be tried, including seeing the ability of players who will be the second tier later, who knows they will be able to show a good game and eventually be able to penetrate the main squad.

I think friendly matches in pre-season matches are only to prepare their strategies and tactics to start the season in their respective leagues and not for the Champions League. Because after all, the Champions League will only start when their respective leagues have started first. So yes, to prepare their performance in the Champions League, of course, it can be prepared from matches that have been played first in their respective leagues. So in this case, pre-season matches for me have nothing to do with preparing their performance in the Champions League next season.

Kylian Mbappe needs to to move to Real Madrid before the end of the summer transfer window so that he can help desiring football fans who wants to see another great football rival between two footballers now that he Ronaldo and Messi era in Europe is over.
His current relationship with the management of PSG will definitely affect his performance in the pitch if he doesn't leave the French capital this summer and that's what football fans around the globe wouldn't want to see. An Mbappe and Haaland rivalry will surely an interesting show for football faithfuls
Real Madrid needs to negotiate an agreement with PSG. Don't rush it caused by it will never happen till next year. All about mbappe actually BS. Mbappe will not move to the real madrid. Even arsenal and liverpool refused rumors for both of clubs to be linked to the mbappe. It's caused by mbappe has a very high salary that will give burden to the club. His release clause is also very big as a football player.

It's not even worthy to get him from PSG. Mbappe will give burden to the club as his salary may also push the club who buy him to be even closer to the FFP sanction. You have seen mbappe played in UCL so many times and what's next? Haaland is far superior compared with mbappe.
PSG tries so many possibilities to push mbappe leaves from the club since mbappe is now willing to renew his contract with PSG.

In pre-season matches, all strengths will be tried, including seeing the ability of players who will be the second tier later, who knows they will be able to show a good game and eventually be able to penetrate the main squad.
If you look at the pre-season matches, most of the pre-season matches won't be serious and only the second tier are sent down to play not in the main squad, maybe that's what makes me lazy to watch pre-season matches, even though that can measure the strength of a club, they won't compete seriously and only compete according to their abilities and do not want to show the quality of the club's abilities.

I also, if there is a pre-season match bet, maybe I won't bet because I know the results will be difficult to predict and might hurt myself, but I like watching pre-season matches, even if it's just for entertainment, no problem, but never bet on matches. preseason. because it would be very risky with a match like that.  Wink
Likewise, if there were any pre-season bets, I would avoid them, as it would be a huge risk betting on a match where the club would not be giving their all, but simply gauging the strength of the team. For me it's not wise to bet on matches like that.

Yes that is another goal of the pre-season tour, to give playing minutes for young players to show their potential and become an adaptation ground for new players. in addition to promotion and expanding the support base for the pre-season tour, it can become a standard for coaches to determine the main squad for next season. On the other hand, it provides time off for regular players to rest and take vacations before the new season starts.

AC Milan, Barcelona, Man United and Real Madrid who will play in the Champions League next season, are on their pre-season tour of America. If you want to see the complete pre-season schedule for each club, you can visit their official website. I'm looking forward to the end of the season's transfer window and the official start of the League to watch the new signings at these big clubs.
Will there be any surprises when the transfer window closes? I think so, because maybe they are now trying an unheard-of approach with the players they are targeting. Or even transfer news that until now has only been a rumor will become a reality before the transfer market ends.
I'm eager to see where the surprises really happen, especially for transfers that might break new records. One of them might be Mbappe for example, or there are other surprising players like Osimhen, 2 players who are much talked about.

The champions league gonna have a new face, it will not be as tough one as before, because the two goats are out of it, its not as competitive as it used to. But if Mbappe leave Psg and sing for Real Madrid then the new goat competition between Haaland and Mbappe will make it interesting. it obvious to know that Mbappe and Psg will not sign any contract extension with Psg. Real Madrid should set their bid set.

Friendly and preseason matches are such that I don't take them seriously, and I don't know conservative bettors that would risk their money on that. I've observed it just like you iterated, it's cool though but the seriousness is not there and I won't agree with you that it could be used to test the strength of a club. This is not particularly true, that's why you would see some clubs' disappointing expectations when the real tournament starts.

Still, it's good, it keeps the viewers engaged and gives some of the substitute players the opportunity to show their worth.

PSG is certainly going to offer Mbappé a contract extension. I actually do not know if they already have offered him a contract extension. I actually believe that they have but Mbappé did not accept. They are actually aiming to sell him right now. Otherwise, they are going to lose him as a free agent. They certainly do not want that in my opinion. I believe it is the right moment for them to sell him and bring in another player. The problem is any player which they are going to try to bring in, will obviously be pursued by other clubs. That is going to make their job a lot harder. At least it is going to be harder for them to bring in the players that they actually want.
Although Mbappe has been offered a contract extension by the club, so far Mbappe may not have extended his contract with the club as he plans to join Real Madrid as a free agent at the end of this season. If Mbappe joins Real Madrid as a free agent, PSG will be deprived of financial benefits, which is why they are putting pressure on Mbappe to extend his contract. Mbappe is playing a clever role with PSG in this regard. Because if the club changes when the contract expires, the club will not get any money for his transfer. But since the club has a contract with Mbappe so far, the club will have the power to decide about Mbappe, so now Mbappe may not have to change the club or the contract period. Mbappe is the one to choose to increase.

Extending contract with PSG is going to be a big mistake for him. It might eventually bring his career down. Probably will even be the worst decision of his career. A lot of news channels and media are actually very interested in the transfer of Mbappé. So there are a lot of rumors about him as well. As I say this, Mbappé actually has a few options. He can stay in PSG for another season, and after that, he will be a free agent. He can join any club he wants then. This is obviously his choice. But at the same time if Dst wants, they can sell him for a good amount of money. But I think PSG is trying their best to keep him in the club and trying to extend the contract of Mbappé.

Manchester City will start the next season with few changes only while Manchester United, Liverpool and especially Arsenal made a lot of efforts to improve the squad and they should not be underestimated whether in Champions League or EPL.
Other clubs are trying to improve themselves with new players from this summer transfer. Manchester City lost Gundogan who is very important with them and we can compare Gundogan with Luka Modric in Real Madrid. Modric and Gundogan give their clubs very good balance between defense and attacking and they are very important pieces for their club squads.

It's too soon to say the departure of Gundogan will affect Manchester City considerable or just a little bit. They have many star players but to replace Gundogan, it will be big task for any player.

Quote
There is Bayern Munich that is also making the squad way better. I don't see big things in France and Italy. Barcelona and Real Madrid are classically though teams to face. Overall next season will be harder than this one in my opinion.
Bayern Munich needs to have a good striker to compete in Champions League and they will become a very dangerous team if they have Harry Kane from Tottenham. PSG are still very silent on the transfer market and it's hard to put belief in PSG after all recent disappointed seasons.
One team that I thought were going to very dangerous in the champions league is PSG because they had the best players in the world, they had Messi,Mbape who is still there and Neymar, you can call it the best three in the world but they weren't still able to get to the Champions league semi final which is a big shame to them, now they've allowed Messi to leave and now they are left with Mbape and Neymar, the latter still wants to leave because he has already informed PSG that he has no intention to stay till next season. Now they are looking at bringing in Harry Kane from Totthenham, and if I were Kane,I wouldn't join them because they have no unity in that team,he should rather stay at Tothenham to see if he can win trophies with his team mates, and I also think they might do well this season considering the fact that they have a new coach, and they have brought in Maddison who was playing for Leicester,to play an attacking role in the team,it might just make Kane wants to stay.
