if you check pep has had a very good record for quite some time now and the only problem I have with Pep is that he gets worried too much despite being a great coach but I understand that feeling, being a coach is not as easy as it looks the pressure is always high during every ongoing matches, during this transfer window you will notice that pep is not doing too much, he always know what step to take at a particular time, his strategy always works for him, and Manchester city letting players go does not really affect their performance I always envy them, of the sincere truth Manchester city is good.
The worries that Pep Guardiola has about his team's achievements are completely normal. Manchester City have invested hundreds of millions of euros building their squad to win titles, and Pep Guardiola has repaid that faith by winning the treble last season. Manchester City won its first Champions League title because of the genius and ability of Pep Guardiola to manage the team, but that was also helped by the quality players he had.

The coach has a great responsibility in managing the team, of course that is a task that is paid handsomely by every football team. The success of the team is the success of the coach, it is interrelated.
Pep Guardiola is surely one of the greatest managers to have ever graced the beautiful game of football and the way he does handle his team is absolutely phenomenal.
Manchester City management has always trusted his managerial experience and abilities from the first day he became the manager of the side and has given him every financial support that's needed to build the team to the level it is now. Pep Guardiola has repaid the trust and support of his employer by winning major silverwares over the last 5 years he's managed them

Pep Guardiola is an amazing manager. Their success in this regard is already enough to tell us this. The fact that they won the triple trophy with Manchester City last year proved this once again. They left one of the biggest tournaments in Europe and one of the biggest in the world as champions. He will probably continue to coach at Manchester City unless he wants to leave Manchester City anymore.

I'm wondering what Manchester United will do in the Champions League this time. They couldn't join the Champions League last season and their achievement in the 2021/22 season was to qualify for last 16. At least a similar achievement would be expected from them I guess. Because they have made a really good progress with Erik ten Hag so far.

His system is working really well for now and they are trying to support this by new transfers. Mount has been signed and the Onana deal is also about to be completed. Rashford has also signed a new contract with them finally which lasts until 2028. It is important for them as well because it was going to be his last year otherwise.

Rashford is a crucial player for them to be successful and they should focus on not losing such players as well.

The draw of the playoff rounds will decide everything (which they should get into without any problems) - they can go far if they come across regular teams, but can end their participation in the tournament if they get one of the top ones right away in 1/8. I hope that at least in the group stage they will perform confidently and I will not lose a lot of points on them, as it was in the last Premier League pool.

Indeed it will be a really comfortable matchup for Galatasaray no matter what the opponent is in the next stage. I'm just wondering what team they will have a matchup against in the last qualification matchup. Because they are going to play 3 qualification matchups before reaching the group or league stage. The first two ones would be most probably easy for them like warmup matches. But in the last stage we mostly see much stronger teams. This will be the real challenge for Galatasaray.

We haven't seen a Turkish team in the group stage here for a long time. I hope Galatasaray can make us watch that happen finally. They are already building a really solid squad for the Champions League.
I can understand why people would think that way, and yes if we are just talking about squad quality then yes Galatasaray is better. But also we need to remember that there are some new players, and there are some big vacation break that they just came back and played some unimportant very very low level friendly games, that's it. So, when it comes to playing a serious "win or go home" game, they may not be ready for something like that just yet.

This is why I believe that we need to make sure that they are doing all they can to win. If this game was in like October November period, I would give 1.01 to Galatasaray, much higher quality, but since it's close and one of first official games, it's not going to be that easy for sure.

It is another reasonable aspect to look at the situation of course. The beginning of a season can always be full of surprises. It is all up to Okan Buruk's preparing his players well for this. He should make sure of his players' knowing the seriousness level of these qualification matches. As long as the team are fully concentrated there shouldn't be any problem.

If we watch a strong team in every way then I'm still behind what I said about Galatasaray. They can reach the last qualification stage easily in that case. However if they face teams such as PSV, Braga and so on in that stage we will find out the real strength of this team.

I actually agree with some people saying that Newcastle's performance started to look strong last season but if we talk about the champions league I don't think Newcastle will be that strong.
One thing we have to remember that the champions league is a very strong competition from big clubs like Bayern munchen, Real madrid, PSG and even rival club Manchester city.
It is very difficult for Newcastle to be able to compete and beat the club and reach the semifinals, unless Newcastle can bring in a star player with very strong talent
We should not jump to conclusions because there have been many improbable things happen in the world of football. Never underestimate average less valuable clubs; they are capable of winning any title as long as they put in the effort and have luck at their disposal. Newcastle are a competitive club in the English Premier League, despite the fact that no one recognized the club until last season, when the appointment of a new manager, Eddie Howe, changed everything completely about the club. Checking their statistics, they have improved significantly, and I'm looking forward to watching the magpies in the Champions League next season.
Newcastle have not been in the Champions League for a long time, this season they come because of their performance last season, I don't think they will immediately compete in the UCL because this is an elite competition, even Man city, Real Madrid and other big teams are still difficult to face this competition, so I don't think Newcastle will go further, but by entering the UCL means they have shown quality.

Just enjoy their journey in the UCL until where this team will go, I wonder in the group stage draw sometimes here also if they are put together in another big group it will be difficult especially if there are Bayern, Madrid, Man City or Barcelona.

Based on the arrangement on ground, show that Manchester united will do wonders in this season to lift many titles because their coach is still bring in potential players that can add value to the team, so that they will achieve some of the titles they couldn't achieve before. Erik Ten Hag has made a good contribution to Manchester united, that will make their president to allow the coach to do better by allow him to use any amount of money to sign in players that will handle their position very well in a way they will maintain a good points through out the season. Rashford is among the top players in Manchester united that is receiving highest paid salary, because he has done well in the past and he is very ready to perform well in this season.

Pre-season games are a platform for young players to showcase their talents and it's a good opportunity for them to show that they deserve to be promoted to the senior team eventually so Manchester United try out a lot of young and new players and it's natural that it's very unfamiliar. But when they see the opponents will be both big clubs IMO they will try to maximize the players and will be a little more serious because even though it is a friendly match there is still prestige that must be maintained and as a reference about them if they meet them again in an official match. friendly matches for big clubs are the same as opening greetings I think before they can compete more seriously in the competition.
I call the pre-season match a trial match for several teams who are trying to appoint their new players or young players to perform well and if the performance is not optimal the coach will try to find other ways to maximize the performance of these new players. On the one hand, in this pre-season match, several teams can look for the best formation pattern to set in each match. Usually, the coaches look at their attack and defense. If the formation is still ineffective, they will change the formation for the better.
even though this is just like a friendly match but for me this is the initial match of strength.
That is certainly true, some of these teams are a lot better than the teams they are playing against which means that it's like a friendly where you try your new players and you end up with seeing how they would play in those positions and do what they are asked or not.

That is sort of like what they are there for in the friendly games as well but the difference is that you do not work on your conditioning and match shape when you are doing that, it is not going to be that simple and you are going to end up with a bit of a trouble if you focus just on that. We should be focusing on some players that end up with a lot of training before the game and you should be hoping that there will be some sort of great tactical improvement instead.

Everyone can attest to Pep's brilliance in the way he has handled Manchester city and won the champions league that almost seemed impossible for an English side to win.
One phenomenal aspect of his style is his ability to bring out the best in players, that they hardly want to leave.

What I have been meaning to ask is if Pep were to be signed by another English side, like Arsenal or Chelsea, would he assuredly perform at best or would he fumble because of management managing funds?
At the moment, Manchester City will not cancel the contract with Guardiwala and Guardiwala will not join any other team except this well-built team. It took a lot of planning and hard work for Manchester City to win the Champions League trophy. Manchester City manager's success did not come so quickly. When Manchester City was in the quarter finals of the Champions League this season, Guardiwala said that if he could not win the Champions League trophy this season. His football career failed and he eventually managed to win the Champions Leap Trophy at Manchester City. Both Arsenal and Chelsea have good quality players but lack of experienced managers in their team. If these two teams are appointed with good quality managers, this team will surely succeed in the Champions League.

Rashford is truly a crucial player for Manchester United and I get the impression sometimes that he’s being relied upon a whole lot in their games and this could put some pressure on him.
I too am wondering how Man United would fare playing in the champions league. They’ve got really good players to actually compete and have a chance at the title but it’s difficult for me to visualize them winning the cup. Under Ten Hag, they’ve seen some good improvements and I hope they wouldn’t be eliminated early on in the competition. I think Casemiro is also instrumental in their games and would greatly support the squad in their quest for the Champions League trophy.
Well, let's see if Marcus Rashford and Manchester United, led by Ten Hag, will not repeat the syndrome of the second season, when the team cannot repeat the successful previous season. To a greater extent, this applies to Rashford, although it seems that he is not so young and should already have an idea how to show the season at least as good as the previous season. I don't expect any special feats from MU in the Champions League. I expect that the club will throw all its strength to gain a foothold among the leaders of the Premier League.

Newcastle were able to compete in the top spots of EPL although they don't have top players like the other clubs. The market value of the team is like the half of Manchester City, United or Arsenal, yet they figured out how to play good together.
Eddie Howe managed well the club. There is few rumours about other players potentially coming to Newcastle, most of them are young. Newcastle are looking for the medium term in order to get EPL or Champions League title if possible.

Newcastle has to be dreaming of they think they can win the Premier league or the Champions League. They did well last season but their best can't get them those titles because we have very strong contenders for the titles next season. The champions league has Manchester city looking to defend their title as they did to teg premier league. Manchester city has teg squad and a well experience managers to defend the titles. Although Manchester city has been selling players recently beyt they still have players that are caoabyof playing good football for Pep Guardiola. The premier league won't be Manchester city prize next season because clubs like Arsenal has learnt their lession and making iuo for their mistakes.

Newcastle should just play their best football and try advancimg in both competitions they they'll be playing in so the money they'll received will be higher. I know they don't need money since they're a very rich club but they should forget about the highest prize in the league they're playing in which is the Premier league and the champions league. They can focused on winning the minor cups titles like the FA cup and EFL (caraboa cup). They can use those trophies as compensation if they play as well as they played last season and improve on that performance and become a very strong team this season.

Manchester United getting to only the round of 16 in the champions league wouldn't be considered a success to me.
They have all it takes to get the the semi finals, Quarter final at the very least.
If they succeed is signing Hojlund from Atalanta then their attack will be Rashford, Hojlund and Anthony. That is a pretty good attack, not as good as I'd like but that's a competitive attack.

A midfield of Casemiro, Bruno and Mount is also not a bad one. Then they have Varane and Martinez as center backs. Manchester United doesn't have a bad team.
What they lack is squad depth and I believe the club is still trying to get two more player to join the team and strengthen the squad.

I don't think that's enough to say they will spend too much money on Newcastle, I know the owner of Newcastle are rich and they have enough money to buy the best players in the world for their team because we saw how Saudi teams spend money in this season.
Since Newcastle is going to be in the next champions league, I think if the NBewcastlw owners want to spend money for this team, now is the best time when they need more investment in their team to race in the Champions League.

I think the target of reaching the last 16 of the champions league feels very realistic for Newcastle, especially since they haven't been in Europe's highest competition for so long. I think Eddie Howie knows very well what they need in order to survive until that round and go through every match that is there with a win. Maybe it will be his first achievement as a Newcastle coach if he can reach that stage and if he fails to take Newcastle to that stage, he will still be able to try again at another time if he still has the same squad as now. Now Newcastle's focus remains the same, namely maintaining the top 4 in the domestic league and of course bringing this team much better in the champions league, it requires extraordinary energy and mind.
At least for almost 20 years, Newcastle did not have the opportunity to compete in the Champions League and last season managed to qualify for the top 4 in the Premier League which made them have a Champions League ticket so that this golden opportunity was impossible to waste Eddie Howie must have prepared carefully for the Champions League because you can see that last season Newcastle got the top 4 of the Premier League so it is still very likely that Newcastle will also qualify for the top 16 of the 2023/24 Champions League season.
We'll just have to wait and see if Newcastle can really live up to expectations or get knocked out before entering the last 16.

In fact, with the new Arab owners, Newcastle became the richest football club in the world.
The new owners clearly have a very good strategy and long-term plan for Newcastle and they are in no rush. Already in the first real season, they won participation in the Champions League without investing too much money for new players.
I think Newcastle will continue to grow every season and could soon replace Manchester City at the top of English and European football.
It won't happen overnight, but in 4-5 years, I believe that Newcastle could reach and even overtake Manchester City, with such a patient and smart plan for the gradual growth of the club by the new owners.
This season, it is still too early to expect big things from them.
You would be exaggerating if you say that with Newcastle's new owners being Arabs making it the richest football club in the world.
There are many English or European football clubs that are owned by Arab billionaires and in fact the most important factor in the success of a football club is not only the owner but also the players and management who take care of the football club itself.
It's not easy to replace Manchester City as the leader at the top like last season.
For Newcastle to be able to get better with improved performance I believe it can happen but to be able to beat Manchester City I'm not sure of that.
If Manchester City doesn't develop better, it's possible that Newcastle will precede it, but Manchester City is a big club that always prepares well and gets better every season, so don't be in a rush to reach the top in just the next 4 or 5 years.

I don't think it's an exaggeration that Newcastle currently has the richest owners in the world.
Check out this information:

''From a financial perspective, Newcastle is the richest club in the world. This is because their owners, the Saudi Public Investment Fund, are worth an estimated 320 billion pounds. The second richest ownership in football is PSG’s Qatar Investment Authority worth an estimated 220 billion pounds.
In the Premier League, the second richest club is Manchester City. City’s owner, Sheik Mansour, is estimated to be worth around 21 billion pounds. This means Newcastle are over 15 times wealthier than any other club in England!''

Source: https://sqaf.club/newcastle-united-owners-richest-club-world/#:~:text=From%20a%20financial%20perspective%2C%20Newcastle%20is%20the%20richest,Fund%2C%20are%20worth%20an%20estimated%20320%20billion%20pounds.

Of course, the example of PSG showed that for success in football it is not enough to have rich owners and that it is also necessary to have a good development plan and strategy.
If you remember, when the new owners took over Newcastle 2 seasons ago, the club was on the brink of relegation. In just one year, they saved themselves from relegation and entered the Champions League, which is a great success.
This tells me that the new owners of Newcastle know what they are doing and that Newcastle could be a very serious competitor to Manchester City in the future. They have the finances to succeed, they seem to have a good plan and the patience, time and knowledge to implement it.
The time will show.

I don't think that's enough to say they will spend too much money on Newcastle, I know the owner of Newcastle are rich and they have enough money to buy the best players in the world for their team because we saw how Saudi teams spend money in this season.

Guardiola will try to find new players who can replace some of the vacant positions left by his former players after choosing to go to another club. It is not difficult for Guardiola to find new players because he really understands the character of players who can be trusted to be an important part of his team.
Guardiola already prepared such option. The leave from silva and mahrez gonna be inevitable. I think that any players will always be interesting to join in a club that can be considered as the best club in the world right now.
Manchester city gonna face sevilla and i think that city gonna get another trophy again.

Defending the title is not as easy as we say, even though Manchester City is very much closer to the potential for a trophy. But regarding the Champions League it feels quite difficult, it's not just about the ideal squad. At a time when several players who have helped Manchester City win trophies are now moving clubs, the game system will change slightly, even though options have been prepared. Picking up the UCL trophy next season is like rolling the dice. Therefore this competition is difficult to maintain, only a few clubs have won it successively and even then with a fairly long process.
I'll tell you what I think. You know how in chess, when you lose your queen, the game becomes ten times harder? That's what Manchester City is facing now. Players like Mahrez, Silva, Walker are leaving, Gundogan has joined Barcelona, it's a bit like a bee hive that's lost its queen.

Yes, I know Pep Guardiola can bring in new players according to his system. He's got the finances for it. But, is the system everything? I don't think so. Defending the UCL title is like trying to win a lottery twice, very few have done it. So, despite their competent team squad and Pep's tactical brilliance, I'm a bit skeptical about their chances this time around.

if you check pep has had a very good record for quite some time now and the only problem I have with Pep is that he gets worried too much despite being a great coach but I understand that feeling, being a coach is not as easy as it looks the pressure is always high during every ongoing matches, during this transfer window you will notice that pep is not doing too much, he always know what step to take at a particular time, his strategy always works for him, and Manchester city letting players go does not really affect their performance I always envy them, of the sincere truth Manchester city is good.

It is vital to be concerned and make some changes because that is what he is paid to do. He's the type of coach who doesn't hide his emotions even on the pitch when the team is struggling; he doesn't wait for the players to leave the pitch before correcting them; he does it right on the pitch, and I like him for it.
Pep is well aware of his priorities during this transfer window, and he is taking the necessary steps for the team. Manchester City, in my opinion, is still one of the finest teams in Europe and will do well in the next season champions league games.
