I agree with you about that. This isn't only Haaland's success. Manchester City maintained the strong team play and Haaland just made an extra contribution to the scoring ability of the team. I don't mean to underestimate his performance this season of course. He was really impressive in the Champions League as well mostly. 12 goals in 11 matches is just incredible effort. However we couldn't see his positive affect in the most critical stages of the Champions League.

He couldn't score a single goal in the semi finals and finale. But thanks to the great team play Manchester City still won the title finally.

Manchester City won the Champions League trophy this season because this season Manchester City did not only rely on Haaland but prepared every player in the team to win the Champions League in the same way Manchester City boss Guardiwala. Kevin De Bruyne has been instrumental in leading Manchester City to the Champions League final. But unfortunately he could not play full time in the final match. I don't even see expensive player being hired by real madrid. Real madrid has been hiring all of cheap players. Even Joselu already transferred from espanyol to the real madrid with very small fees.

There is no doubt that Haaland is an excellent player. But it cannot be said that Haaland alone won Manchester City the title. The Manchester City team is stronger than ever. I don't agree with you, even when Haaland have  not been signed into Manchester City the club have been doing well.  So don't make it looks as if Haaland is the reason why Manchester City won the Champions League . No doubt Haaland is  a talented player and Is coming to Manchester City strengthen the squad more , Manchester City players worked as a team to win the Champions League and the Premier league. These Victories was not as a result of one player , they all contributed for this  victories. If Haaland is no more in Manchester City the team will still do well like when Haaland have not been signed in.

I just don't like it when the "the hand of god" scores a goal in football and people say "same chances for everyone, they could have scored a goal with their hands as well". That is not how I understand competition on the highest level. For me that is competing with each other while being subject to the same rules and abiding to those rules in the same way while being judged by a referee in the same way. That is why a league of 38 games is also different than a competition like a World Cup or the Champions League. Luck (or the lack thereof) usually evens out throughout a season. Privilege (like in the case of Real Madrid) does not. Your argument makes the case that everyone has equal chance in having their breaking the rules behavior go undetected and therefore whoever wins deserves the win, since the other team could also have scored offside goals, circumvent red cards by injuring an opponent's player "the smart way" or scoring a goal with the hand such that the referee doesn't blow the whistle. This still neglects that Real Madrid has more influence on the game and the people behind it than any other club, but still. You say "whoever breaks the rules without getting caught is doing ok because the others could have done the same". I am not that kind of guy and that is why I am a big fan of the VAR and any other measure to reduce shenanigans. De Bruyne was signed in 2015, even before Pep got there, so I do not think that has anything to do with it. However, it would be weird to say that just a single transfer made them win and it was just Haaland, by that logic last season Dortmund should have won because they had Haaland as well.

That makes two mistakes in a single message. I am pretty sure that you are just writing for writings sake, it is obvious that you are not fully aware of the situation all that much.

If Madrid succeeds in bringing in Mbappe next season, of course it will be tough competition with the strength of Manchester City, which is currently also quite good.
