Erling Haaland gave Manchester City an edge, but of it had not been for the support from those player's, he wouldn't have scored so much goals, and if you check, most of em are completely tap in goals. He wouldn't have been able to create so much chances for himself alone.
In big games, Haaland was not very active and had Manchester city not had other very good players that can perform in top games, they would have been failed by the dependence on Haaland. Players that were very important for Manchester City last season that deserve to be as recognized as Haaland are Rodri who scored an important goal against Bayern Munich and in the final, Bernando Silva played well also against Real Madrid, De Bruyne was also good, also Grealish and Gundogan. As some of these players have left, Manchester City will need to make things happen in those areas where those players player very well.

You are neglecting the impact that a player like Haaland has even when he doesn't score. Do you know what it costs a team to neutralize Haaland for a whole game? If an opponent has to dedicate their players, or resources if you will, to neutralize Haaland, that also means that other players from Manchester City will have more time and space to create chances for either other players than Haaland or themselves. It was not like Haaland was just bad and period. Haaland was keeping several players busy who were supposed to prevent him from scoring and they did that well. But who cares at Manchester City when other players can do the job as well then?

There is actually no reason to say that Manchester City was able to win the Champions League just because of Erling Haaland. Of course, he is a very important player for Manchester City. He was also very effective for Manchester City in the matches before the semifinals in the finals. But we could see that in the final matches of the tournament, he was just used as a bait. Of course, he was very important. But he was not the only important player and he was certainly not the only reason for which Manchester City was able to win the Champions League.

Same with the game against Real Madrid, Erling Haaland was simply used as a bait for the defense of Real Madrid, funny thing was that Rudiger wasn't started in that game to help hold him down during the second meeting.
That game was damn interesting, Bernado Silva had such a great night scoring two goals, IIkay Gundogan also being Instrumental as always in midfied.

Erling Haaland gave Manchester City an edge, but of it had not been for the support from those player's, he wouldn't have scored so much goals, and if you chech, most of em are completely tap in goals. He wouldn't have been able to create so much chances for himself alone.

They just want to write, I don't think they watch or even play soccer.
Even before the arrival of Erling Haaland, Manchester City have been a tough, likewise great side, but he Erling Haaland also gave Manchester City an extra edge when it comes to attacking, pressing and scoring goals. All the goals he scored wouldn't have ever been possible if he lacks supportive team mates. Kevin De Brunye is a a tactical and technical genius, Gundogan the controller of the game, Rodri the engine room for Pep Guardiola and Kudos to Jone Stones for supporting him when he needs support.

To Bernado Silva and to Mahrez and likewise Jack Grealish, though he wasn't able to get a single goal during the Champions League.
These players all contributed and with those passes to him, he wouldn't have scored that much. Erling Haaland is great I concur, But, he also had fewer goals contribution, all he did much was high pressing and scoring goals and farting for opposition defender's LoL  Grin

I agree with it. Haaland has improved their scoring skills more maybe. But it wouldn't be fair to say that the main reason of their winning the Champions League title or the whole success of them are thanks to Haaland. Manchester City were already a strong team before Haaland. They were already playing strong as a team.

They just wanted to complete the missing piece of the puzzle. Because Jesus wasn't exactly the kind of Manchester City wanted after parting ways with Aguero. Haaland was just the kind of a striker who could meet their expectations. But like I said it wouldn't be fair to overlook the overall performance of the team and say that it was mostly Haaland's contribution.

Aside from that Haaland didn't even make a goal contribution in last rounds of the Champions League last season. I don't say this to talk badly about Haaland of course he is amazing. You get my point.

No doubt Haaland made an impact for Manchester city treble, but h was not the key factors, any striker can do the same thing he did, have you ever seen a striker that flop in Manchester city? never, they played two seasons without  a striker and still score highest goals in the league. Haaland so don't contribute to games, i can not sign him as a striker for a build up team. he can not dribble, none mark ball, he can shot outside the box and score. Haaland is good only in positioning.
Well, you are right for Haaland, who is able to score the most goals, certainly cannot be separated from the players standing behind him. Because these goals are created from the cooperation of extraordinary players. Therefore, if Haaland wants to be considered independent, then he also needs to sharpen his individual skills more sharply so that he doesn't just continue to rely on bait alone. Haaland is placed in a position that Pep Guardiola specializes in so that when a gap opens, every player will focus on giving Haaland that opportunity.

Next season in all competitions will Haaland continue to score the most goals? not necessarily because as we know Haaland is targeting the Ballon d'Or winner and to achieve that automatically Haaland achievements need to be consistent every season.

is a quality team that can still win the French League 1. They may not win the UCL because their biggest strength left the team. Of course, Messi's departure hurt the team more. It was also a psychological force for them. Now it will be important for them to fill their place. Osimhen could be a good alternative.
For PSG to win the champions league they need to sign an experienced manager, back him up financially and allow him some time to build his team. They are just in a hurry to win the champions league and that's the problem. The bring in a manager and if he fails to win it the first and second season, the kick him out and bring another coach, not minding the money they have invested to recruit players to suit his style of play. They go for another manager and if same thing happens they sack him and bring another. Taking a look at Pep's time at City, he came in 2016, he was able to win some domestic titles but it took him 7 years to win the champions league. PSG might have the money but if they don't have the patience to wait it might take them longer time.

Napoli won the league cup last year after a tremendous season. But they are not strong enough to compete for the Champions League. I am hearing rumors that osimhen is going to PSG, but I don't know if it is true, but it will be difficult for Napoli to sell Vitor osimhen, who is a good striker that any club would like to have. I would like an English club to negotiate with Napoli's player osimhen. Sigh for any Premier League team that will give him another trophy, is a striker who can score in every situation.is one of the best strikers in the world, but signing him will be difficult because Napoli do not want to sell him at the moment.
In fact, Paris Saint Germain is a dangerous competitor for any potential buyer. After Mbappe's supposed departure, the club can behave much more aggressively in the market. Another question is that I think Viktor Osimhen himself is not ready to leave Napoli yet. However, it all depends on the amount of money. Many people change their minds because of this Wink

Well if Mbappe leaves PSG that i think would be it for them. They for me wouldnt have any chance of winning the champions league at all, plus i think they might no even win the french league aswell. Osimhen would be an amazing transfer but still that wouldnt be enough to make their season a success.
Victor Osimhen without doubt is has the great potentials of becoming one of the greatest strikers in the history of football. From what we saw him do last season at Napoli, he'll surely join the league of legendary strikers of the game if he continues to work hard.
That being said, he's not a match to Kylian Mbappe's attacking prowess and so if PSG let's Mbappe leave and signs Osimhen as a replacement, they'll gave to wait for the Nigerian international to take his time at the club and grow to the kind of player Mbappe is currently.

De Bruyne was signed in 2015, even before Pep got there, so I do not think that has anything to do with it. I am not saying Haaland had nothing to do with it, of course he is an amazing player and of course he helped them a ton. However, it would be weird to say that just a single transfer made them win and it was just Haaland, by that logic last season Dortmund should have won because they had Haaland as well.

This proves that yes Haaland took them over the edge and made them a winner, but before him they were pretty solid team. Also it is Manchester City and not United. That makes two mistakes in a single message. I am pretty sure that you are just writing for writings sake, it is obvious that you are not fully aware of the situation all that much.

They just want to write, I don't think they watch or even play soccer.

In the next season, Napoli will have less chance compared to the Napoli we saw in the last season mostly because they are going to lose some players and they lose their coach --

In terms of players, I think as long as the club can still maintain its main players, the impact will not be too big
We still don't know the performance of Rudi Garcia, Napoli's new coach in manage the team, especially with the club's ambition to conquer the Champions League. We don't know yet if Garcia can handle Napoli better than Luciano Spalletti
even though with players who are already good and compact in the Napoli squad, when they don't match the game strategy planned by Rudi Garcia, their game won't be as good as last season. we can see how Napoli played very consistently against the domination of big Serie A clubs like Milan and Inter. it's a shame Spalletti had to step down from the coaching chair. but Napoli have to bet on Rudi Garcia's ability next season. hopefully there aren't too many changes from their game.
I'm just speculating that the arrival of Rudi Garcia to coach Napoli will not make any difference but there is a bit of a lack in terms of experience. if we compare Rudi Garcia with Spalletti, they are very far from an experience point of view and Spalletti is superior so he was able to make a good contribution to Napoli in the previous season.
I don't doubt Rudi Garcia's experience but slightly dislike that the formation he has used to strengthen the team is very different to Spalletti's.

a little disappointed at Spalletti's departure and a little doubtful about Napoli's future at the hands of Rudi Garcia.

When Napoli last season had a very good performance in Serie A but in fact, Napoli could not play well in the Champions League either. With this factor, if next season Napoli does not have the same good performance as last season, then i believe Napoli will not be able to play well in the Champions League next season. It doesn't matter about Napoli's main players, because even if Napoli's main players are still playing at Napoli for next season, it still won't guarantee Napoli has a performance with the same stability as last season. So yes, to conclude i am not sure for Napoli in the next season for the results in the Champions League, because it seems that to maintain the scudetto is also difficult for Napoli to maintain.

That's what we expect and want to see of course. All clubs are improving to make the competition even more interesting.
But I will feel a little sad now, because in the Champions League next season we will be left with many senior players who we usually always see in Champions League matches. Let's call Cristiano Ronaldo who broke many records in the Champions League and even today he still holds that record, yes he left the Champions League first when he joined the Arab club. And as we saw this season a lot of players went to the Arab League and that also ensures we will not see them in the Champions League next season.

It always happens like this, you don't have to be sad
the players we know get old and have to make room for new ones
it's the right cycle of life, you know how boring otherwise

you will see that new recent talents will make you forget Smiley christiano ronaldo

Even with mbappe, messi and neymar. PSG is still unbale to won UCL and the worst thing if PSG will lose mbappe. Mbappe is not interesting to extend his contract. The new club will able to give him higher chance to win UCL. Mbappe has plenties of reason to leave from PSG.
He is not happy with the performance from PSG in international competition like UCL. PSG has been trying so many times, but the club was only able to go to the final and lost. Mbappe must not be stupid enough to extend his contract in the club that will not give him chance to win UCL.
I prefer to see mbappe to go to the EPL or la liga clubs. There have been links of Mbappe joining Madrid, Arsenal, and even Liverpool, but none of these clubs have made a move to sign him..
Mbappe will stay until his contract expires. I hope that he will able to join in real madrid. It will make madrid to build another spectaculer squad.

Unless Mbappe changes clubs and Neymar is not injured and the rest of the team is fit, PSG could have a chance to do well in the Champions League. Osimhen joins PSG alongside Luis Enrique as PSG manager. If there are no injury problems and the understanding between the players is good, then even with the current squad, PSG can do well in the Champions League.
Did I miss a news that Osimhem officially was bought by PSG?

With Osimhen, PSG will have a good striker with good contribution for pressing and defensive effort at their front line. It will help to free Mbappe from a central area and puts Mbappe at the swing with more space to use his speed. Neymar will provide creativeness and key passes from those two attacking players. In theory, they will be a better attacking system than with Messi.

Quote
First of all Luis Enrique needs to create a good relationship between all PSC players. Every player in the PSG camp should have a friendly relationship. When every player has a good camaraderie off the field, the game on the field will be better.
They have many star players and need to free some of those star players to have more normal players who are ready to play as workers and contribute more for their defense system. Having many star players in attacking area only makes their defensive ability weaker and they will become more vulnerable to counter attacks. Enrique is not a type of coach like Mourinho or Simeone who can build loyalty in players. I am not sure he will succeed to unite PSG players for a club target.

In the next season, Napoli will have less chance compared to the Napoli we saw in the last season mostly because they are going to lose some players and they lose their coach while other teams in the champions league like Manchester City and especially Real Madrid are all trying to hire better players and improve their performance.
From what we saw in Real Madrid they are even trying for Mbappe and this makes Real Madrid much stronger than last season.
Napoli are still the Serie A title favourites for next season, but I wouldn't be surprised if they recruit more players to bolster their team after selling some of them to other clubs. If Napoli has no plan B for how they intend to sell its present best players, we may assume that they are only here to earn money and have not taken the club's name seriously in winning trophies, which is where every player's career is built.

Real Madrid requires fresh players to make some positions stronger and more resourceful than they were previously. Real Madrid always signs strategically, and their acquisitions are always of high quality. It is rare that they do not get to sign a player they want to join them. When it comes to signing new players, their fame and financial standing always speak for them.

I have always been saying this. If Napoli can keep the players that they had in the last season they will probably be able to do well in the next season. But that is certainly not a guarantee. Because the other clubs in players to make the teams stronger. Napoli is obviously going to be one of the favorites. But if they will be able to win the league title or not is another story.

Real Madrid is the best club in La Liga when it comes to making transfers. There are always taking the best decisions. Of course, there are some bad decisions made. But that happens with almost all the clubs. One thing I like about Real Madrid is that they go for the players who have done well in the World Cup.
