I agree with you that it was lucky that was not on PSG side on that day, if not they would ha e equalized the goal, as we saw three good opportunities that was could not go through the goal post. PSG will definitely play to win the match, and they have all the time to turn things around to their favor in France. On the other hand Dortmund can still go to France and hold on to their ground by not allowing PSG to out play them no matter that they are playing away from home, and still draw the match in order for them to qualify to the finals. Dortmund has a high advantage than PSG based on goal aggregate.
The 1 goal advantage currently held by Borussia Dortmund is good capital for them in the second leg, as long as they can play solidly and are not easily penetrated by the opponent's attack line. I think their focus in this match will be on Mbappe because we know that Mbappe is one of the players who has a lot of influence on Paris Saint Germain's game, and Paris Saint Germain itself has a very high dependence on Mbappe.
Realizing this, Paris Saint Germain should have been able to anticipate this, so they could have implemented another strategy when Mbappe really couldn't move. They can use Mbappe as a lure to get other players on the front line. This strategy is actually nothing new, because many teams also apply this strategy, it's just that there are teams that are successful with this strategy, there are those that are not, so Paris Saint Germain must be able to implement this well if they want to be in the final.

I believe in PSG. Bigly. We've seen them pull off miracles, like that comeback against Barcelona - fantastic game. But Dortmund is a tough opponent. We cant bank on another red card to turn things around. Now, playing at home, thats a HUGE match. And Enrique, the guy's a tactical genius. He'll have the plan. Thing is, those chances we create? We gotta start burying them. No more messing around. The heart, the skill, its all there. I know they can show us what they're made of.
Dortmund is good that is true but not like Barca and the goal difference to turn things around here is still fewer than that of barca game, actually what PSG need is for Luis Enrique to come up with a good tactics and Mbappe being able to play well, then we will be seeing psg in the final this season.

hahahahah what? How in the hell Dortmund have higher chances of qualifying than PSg because they only win by one goal in his home game? Man i dont think football work in that way, this is a 180 minutes game and i dont think P$G is gonna fail in this second match.

For me right now is 60% PSG and 40% dortmund.

I think, PSG can qualify for the semifinals also only because of luck because in the second leg Barcelona only played with 10 players but anyway, the reality is that PSG always falls behind first. So, if for example PSG no longer get the same luck for the second leg against Dortmund later, then PSG will also still fail. But indeed, as a home team in the second leg later, PSG will still have a chance to win because of course, the 1-0 aggregate is really a score that is not entirely safe. So indeed, I also admit that PSG still has a chance to win but for some reason, I think Dortmund will still be able to maximize the aggregate victory it has.

You can say the same with Dortmund that if their players played better, they would have scored more than 1 goal. Both teams created their chances in the match and they have reasons to regret about opportunities which were wasted.

This result will make the semi final in Paris very interesting because PSG will have no choice than attacking. I don't know they will choose a serious attacking approach since the beginning whistle from the referee or they will not be too hurry with attacking. The second tactical approach is safer for PSG because it can help them to pay attention on defense and don't allow Dortmund to do many considerable and dangerous counter attacks.
I think Luis Enrique just needs to improve the team's mentality instead of just hoping his strategy will be useful in the second leg. The team must be given high motivation to beat any opponent, and this must all be reflected in how PSG handles pressure from Dortmund. Of course this is something Luis Enrique has to think about if he wants his team to qualify for the final, but I agree that improving the team's mentality is not enough to just say something.

All players must have the same ambitions and game plan, that means they must give everything they have so that the targets they want to achieve can become a reality. Anything is still possible for PSG who are only 0-1 behind in Germany, so they must maximize their home advantage to successfully qualify for the final.

In the second leg, both teams actually have their own advantages that they will bring. Dortmund carries the advantage because it has excelled on aggregate. Meanwhile, PSG will be favored in the second leg because PSG will play as hosts. But PSG's task will not be easy either. Because in the second leg PSG must succeed in scoring at least 2 goals without conceding. And this is not an easy task.

All teams are strong in home matches. Even though PSG didn't win the away match, I wouldn't say their overall gameplay was bad. PSG players tried to score, but they could not break Dortmund's strong defense. Dortmund were very confident in the home match. And after scoring first, Dortmund kept their defense tight. And with some defensive play, the team secured a comfortable 1-0 win. However, as PSG are only 1 goal behind, PSG still have a strong chance of qualifying for the final with a home win.

Meanwhile, for the Real Madrid vs Bayern match, Real Madrid is actually in a better position. Because Real Madrid managed to hold Bayern to a draw in the first leg, it was also a positive step. Because Real Madrid only needs to win in the second leg when Real Madrid will be more confident playing in front of their own supporters. The mentality of the Bayern players will be tested in the second leg. If Bayern is not affected then Bayern will definitely continue to play as well as in the first leg.

Bayern Munich performed brilliantly in the first leg match. But I would say Bayern Munich failed to win this match due to Ancelotti's excellent match strategy. Toni Kross and Vini performed brilliantly in this match. However, the performance of Bayern Munich players was also very good. We got a chance to enjoy a wonderful match. Real Madrid will play at their home in the second leg. Madrid is always very strong at home. Beating Madrid at home will be challenging for Bayern Munich.

Dortmund is a more composed team, and they will remain composed even the second leg of the game.PSG have no chance of qualifying, and i dont think they will be able to get two goals at  their home against a solid side like Dortmund.
The game would have been in their favour if they had drawn the first leg of the encounter, but they allowed Dortmund to win them first leg,and that is why i think there is no magic about it again. If it were to be madrid or Mancity,i would have said there is a possibility because they are the only teams that can do magic when it comes to come back.
The second leg will end in a draw, and Dortmund will get to the finals of the champions league and might even win it.
If you say that Dortmund was calmer in this Champions League match, maybe I would agree because whatever the result, Dortmund is not really prioritizing the title but rather giving experience to the players that Dortmund has so they can be sold at a high price.
But if you say PSG has no chance of qualifying for the final round and Dortmund has a chance when they only get 1 aggregate score, in my opinion you are very wrong here.
Try to look more deeply at how the two clubs are performing and compare more deeply the players they have, whereas 1 aggregate score doesn't guarantee anything and you have to see how PSG played away from home to get rid of Barcelona at that time.
You also have to see how PSG is now after Enrique became coach. PSG has had a lot of changes and is more consistent than Dortmund.
I'm willing to bet that if PSG will qualify for the final round, Dortmund will not go home as a failure.

Playing in the second leg in France, of course PSG will really play optimally in front of all their supporters. They have to score two goals or more in order to qualify and keep Dortmund from scoring, a difficult job but it seems that if PSG wants it, it's definitely possible. achieved, because previously against Barcelona they lost in the first leg but in the second leg they won by a landslide, I think PSG could give Dortmund a surprise in France in the second leg in the hope of winning and being able to qualify for the UCL final against Madrid or Munich .

It's impossible for Dortmund to play defensively all the time, of course they won't be comfortable withstanding every attack made by Mbappe and his friends. Of course they will make deadly counter attacks, PSG must be careful when facing Dortmund, they only need a draw to qualify for the UCL final later. , PSG's struggle up to this point certainly took a lot of struggle and they definitely don't want Dortmund to beat them for the second time in the second match later, I'm sure PSG can win by two goals against Dortmund later in France  Grin

Indeed, the score with an aggregate of 1 goal is not safe for Dortmund to qualify for the Champions League final, but don't they currently have good capital at least to play in the second leg later, I think a comeback like the one against Barcelona will probably continue to be a hope for PSG fans when they play in the second leg, but will it be possible?
Of course it is possible if Dortmund also get the same misfortune as Barcelona by getting a red card in the match later, but if not of course I think Dortmund has a greater chance of getting a win or at least a draw against PSG later in the second leg.

Admittedly or not, of course we can see if PSG current game depends on the performance of Mbappe and Dembele, so that when later Mbappe and Dembele get tight guard from Dortmund defenders, of course it will make PSG game will be chaotic and their attack will be deadlocked In my opinion, Dortmund defense is solid enough in first leg,so I think Enrique must have a backup plan to be able to break into Dortmund defense in the second leg.

PSG still has plenty of potential, we certainly haven't forgotten about the quarter-final first leg match against Barcelona. PSG were defeated in the first leg of the quarter-final against Barcelona, but in the second leg they secured the semi-finals by beating Barcelona by a large margin at their home ground. PSG lost their semi-final first leg match against Dortmund but it's definitely a good thing for PSG that they didn't lose by multiple goals. Winning by two goals at their home ground is not difficult for PSG if they play at their best. Manager Luis Enrique is certainly planning with every player in the team as well as providing opportunities for qualified players in every position. PSG should only play the normal game well, if they play the normal game correctly, the final will be guaranteed for PSG.

PSG can indeed make a comeback but I think they achieved that after they made a very big advantage, where one of the Barcelona players made a blunder that resulted in a red card. If at that time Barcelona had continued to play with 11 men, I don't think PSG would have qualified for the semifinals. This is clearly different from their current condition because it is not certain that something like that will happen again. However, even though they lost 0-1 in the first leg against Dortmund, PSG still has quite a wide opportunity because they will be playing at home in the second leg.

It is possible that PSG can make a good difference in the next match because returning legs at home is always played differently but their things they should avoid, PSG that I know conceives goals much even in their league,it is very difficult for PSG to keep a clean sheet, although there is still chances for PSG making it in the next leg but let keep watching what will become of them.
Dortmund will not allow PSG to dominate them easily this time, as we know this is the last lap of the semifinal so any team that found themself here can not allow themselves to be an easy crack, so PSG should prepare for a strong fight it wont be an easy event, though a winner must emerge but I don't see that match ending by just normal football session, it might likely end in a penalty.

I don't know, wouldn't it be more like watching a Bundesliga game?  Tongue  The best thing I can say about such finale would be the choreographies and special shows they can prepare. I still remember the ones they did in the finale between these teams in the 2012/2013 season. I must admit Germans are also really good at this.

What I expect is also the same as you depending on Dortmund's playing style in the rematch. But what I want is rather a Real Madrid - Dortmund finale. The previous matchups between them were really great to watch. It would be nice to see them face each other in a finale this time.  Smiley

Wasn't that finals between Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola? I think I can recall vividly how that game went. Borrussia Dortmund missed too many chances to score until Bayern Munich finally did to seal the game.
I really don't think it would be interesting one between Borrussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich. I won't even bother watching because we all know that Bayern Munich would destroy Borrussia Dortmund.

I'd rather a Paris Saint Germans and Real Madrid Finals, I would love to see Luis Enrique do it again with another club hopefully. He did years ago with Barcelona long ago with the likes of Neymar Junior, Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Xavi Hernandez.

I want to see Paris Saint Germans going to the finals, maybe Kylian Mbappe can set his hands on the Champions League Trophy even before moving to Real Madrid next season.

I think psg will still move to the final, this is similar to their quarter final match against Barcelona were they lost the first leg though that was at their home but I think the second leg this time won't be any different like we saw in the QR they are going to be the one qualifying, Enrique will probably learn from his mistakes and Mbappe will try to do alot better
The defeat experienced by PSG at Dortmund Headquarters was similar to when they lost in the first leg against Barcelona, but I don't expect any of Dortmund players to suffer the same fate as Araujo, who had to leave the field early due to being given a red card while playing in the second leg. Dortmund must play disciplined and avoid all the worst possibilities that could harm them.

PSG's only advantage in the second leg is because the supporters can be their 12th player, support from supporters can increase the enthusiasm of PSG players in catching up. I hope the game at the Parc des Princes will present a different story, PSG must show a good game and create lots of opportunities if they want to appear in the final.

Of course PSG's chance of being able to turn things around is still very big in the second leg because they will play at their own pace and we can see the strength of both teams in the first leg that PSG's quality is very good, it's just that they are a little unlucky because they created so many opportunities failed to convert into a goal.
I think Luis Enrique knows what to do in the second leg and it must be admitted that PSG's performance was better in the Champions League match compared to their domestic league match.
Dortmund also cannot be underestimated, in the second leg PSG will be slightly favored to be able to turn things around, but overall I am sure the match will be quite fierce.

This season the performance of PSG generally is better than that of Dortmund but during their meeting in the champions league Dortmund created more chances and got rewarded for it as they won by 1:0. IMO, I don't think the one goal that Dortmund has at home in the first leg is enough to qualify them to the finals because truth be told you can't write off PSG because they couldn't do anything in the first leg but they were able to hold on to the one goal and not concede more goals until the final whistle so coming to their home ground, I will personally bet on PSG to qualify because they can get 2 early goals and make things more difficult for Dortmund in the second half, this is the champions league where home plays a big role, Mbappe will definitely be on the lookout as he's going to surely get a goal and help his team to progress to the final let's watch and see.

I think PSG's opportunity in the 2nd leg is still quite open because the 1-0 aggregate is still very likely to be chased, but Dortmund is not a team that is able to step up by chance, they have a strong character in the Champions League. Apart from that, Les Pariesen definitely has big ambitions because the most prestigious trophy in Europe is certainly the main target for Kylian Mbappe.

I believe that leg 2 will be very fierce because both teams have the same desire to reach the final round. In the 1st leg match, if you refer to statistics, there is no team that stands out, meaning the strength of the two teams is still quite balanced. I really hope PSG progresses to the final and meets Real Madrid, which will make the match atmosphere even more exciting.

In as much as PSG had earlier made a come back in a similar situation as this in the champions league this season we should understand that there are circumstances that led to the success of the comeback which included the team strength a d aswell as the cards the opponent git on that day which caused them some kind of psychological restrain and somehow weaken their performance which was an opportunity for PsG to take advantage of,

In this case it's a different team and you can recall that the Germans have got a different style of playing as compared to the Spanish a d even the french which we say in the last few games which PSG has had happened to play against these teams from these leagues. The Germans (Dortmund) are more defense conscious and utilizes opportunities they get to counter their opponent, meanwhile the Spanish (Barcelona) are very much attack minded and Don't get to fall back to their defense almost immediately so it's easy to harvest a whole lot of goals from them.

Dortmund may definitely not allow the same thing that happened against Barcelona with PSG to be their fate so I will not be totally surprised if I get to see the game ending in a draw or probably Dortmund getting to win PSG or PSG winning with the same goal margin a s they have to play a penalty shoot out to determine the winner so it's definitely not promising to be an easy one for either teams .

However, even though they lost 0-1 in the first leg against Dortmund, PSG still has quite a wide opportunity because they will be playing at home in the second leg.
