Happy when Madrid qualified for the Semifinals. I thought Madrid would fail but I was wrong. Madrid have made history, they were able to thwart Man City to the semi-finals. Last year they failed because of Man City. For now they are able to turn things around. I'm sure a lot of people who lose bet. But next they have to fight Munich, it's Anceloti's tough task. But I'm quite optimistic Madrid will qualify for the FInal. Because the toughest opponent I think is only Man City.

Pep Gadudiola always makes a mistake when he is playing an important match, he use to use his substitution to sabotage himself in big games. Real Madrid and Manchester city are good teams and they gave us an entertaining game. Penalty should not be use to judge who is a better team because penalties are game of luck. Good teams that do not have good penalty takers will lose against a bad team that have good penalty takers. Real Madrid had alot of experience with their penalty takers and they use that to defeat Manchester city. Pep Gadudiola substitution also caused it and he is to be blame somehow because why will he substitute some players that can be very good at taking penalty. He was not thinking about a penalty shootout but wanted to win the game in regular time and this made him to substitute good penalty takers out of the game.

It was not the first time Ancelotti defeated a strong team like Man City. Ancelotti have proven that he is a great coach, specifically for UCL competition. He already won UCL titles 4 times, 2 trophies with AC Milan and 2 trophies with Real Madrid. Ancelotti surely knows well how to beat any team in UCL, he is an experienced and smart coach. So, I think it is not really surprising if Ancelotti could beat Guardiola.

Even if Real Madrid could beat Man City, they don't underestimate Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich is also a strong team that has great records in UCL. Real Madrid surely can defeat them but Ancelotti must be careful with a surprise made by Tuchel with Bayern Munich. Although I am not sure that Tuchel can surprise us, but Ancelotti must prepare anything to deal with Tuchel's tactics.

Literally, the best way to win a strong side that has almost same strength with you is to take early advantage and go for defensive play and that was what Real Madrid did because had it been they attacked Manchester city more after they were ahead of them they would have given them opportunity to equalize before halftime but knowing fully well that Manchester city is a team that attacks more than defend they immediately switch the play after scoring early goal against Manchester City but there is one thing i always talk about in football, when a match enters penalty shootout, any of the sides can win because penalty shootouts are always accompanied with lucks.

I can't understand where you saw a beast there, first a draw, then a minimal win, despite the fact that they had a strong opponent against them by current standards. After I saw the good performance from Real Madrid against Manchester City in the previous game they had in the Champions League, I think Real Madrid had an epic performance and Ancelotti knows how to beat even stronger teams because beating Gadudiola was not easy at all.
I think if Real Madrid has the good performance we saw from them against Manchester Cityagaginst other teams like Bayern Munich, they can easily beat Bayern Munich because compared to Manchester City, Bayern Munich is not a strong team, especially after losing the Bundesliga title to Leverkusen.

Looks like it was your first time seeing Ancelotti's Real Madrid play in a big CL match. Go check out the previous huge matches where they made comebacks. They like catching teams on the break and it works most of the time.

You're right, Man City actually played well, they really dominated the match. Man City have made a lot of chances to score goals but Man City only succeed scoring 1 goal. Besides Real Madrid goalkeeper performed impressive, Man City players were not lucky because there are some good chances but it always ended up with no goals. I saw De Bruyne have some great chances but he failed to convert it to be goals. It can be the unlucky factor of Man City on the match.

However, in the penalty shootout, Real Madrid players showed their winning mentality. Their mentality never dropped although Modric failed scoring the first goal. Honestly, I'm quite surprised to see Modric unable to convert it be a goal. Sure, Lunin played very impressive, he is indeed reliable even though he is not Real Madrid's main goalkeeper.

As far as Manchester City is out from the game I don't think Real Madrid will face any difficulties.  I know the rest teams that are in Champions league are tough but it won't be very challenging for Real Madrid. Among the remaining teams that we have in the Champions League Real Madrid is the favourites team to get the title of Champions league.

Since their is no more Manchester City  in the competition real madrid will have good relief to enjoy the rest of their game in the Champions League.
