Bayern Munich is not in good shape, so if Arsenal eliminates Bayern Munich, it will not surprise me since we have seen how Bayern Munich has done this season, losing games to clubs that are not even stronger than Arsenal. After Bayern Munich lost their last league game against Dortmund, I believe Arsenal has a better chance of winning than Bayern Munich. The match will be played next week, we'll see how it goes.


Xabi Alonso made an excellent decision to continue with the team next season. Leverkusen will play in the next Champions League, they will need a coach like Xabi Alonso because he has played in major competitions such as the Champions League. I can't wait to see the club compete with the clubs from other leagues, as we have seen how they competed with Bayern Munich for the Bundesliga title race this season. You're right, they need to add more players next season, so they shouldn't be eliminated so easily, because they will face difficult challenges in the next Champions League if they meet a major team like Real Madrid or Manchester City, we don't know if their current players will have strength to play this way next season.

Doing anything to probably still stay in the league isn't the problem but been able to maintain the form till the end and probably getting to win the trophy is what matters the most, Bayern Munich is still yet to really have what it takes to win the champions league this season, they will most definitely not be able to win the champions league and I wouldn't want to consider it fair enough if he's actually been judged by it.

I'm really optimistic about Bayern Munich actually, because I think since this is more like all that's left for them this season, giving their all is what they would want to do in the champions league this time because they are not going to in anyway really have hopes on other games as this is more likely to be their best bet at this point and knowing that Arsenal does better at the premier league then the champions league, Bayern could see that as an advantage to be well utilized and make sure to win as it's very possible Arsenal get to loose to Bayern Munich.

The fact that Arsenal actually faced Manchester city who is usually seen as a tough team and didn't get a loss from them for me isn't a reason to think that they can aswell get to be able to still beat Bayern or probably hold them to a draw too, I think what's more applicable is in the fact that Arsenal just like yesterday would want to be too careful so they get a draw here and probably later they could win and get ahead but I don't see Bayern playing in such a way.

I don't think people actually do not give any chance to Arsenal in any of the matches, be it against Manchester City.
Because we all know Arsenal is capable of performing well even against the best of teams.
The main problem is we have seen Arsenal become pretty bad towards the end of the season.
However, now it seems like in this season Arsenal will be able to hold on and potentially win the English Premier League title.

Yes, I also believe that comparing them with Bayern Munich is not a good comparison right now.
Actually, I think Bayern Munich is also a good team.
But the main problem is, you know, the coach is not good enough.
You can't deny the squad itself has the capability of winning everything, right?
But when the tactics are not good enough, the quality of the squad is not going to matter.

Defeat from Dortmund certainly will not change Munich's chances of beating Arsenal in the Champions League, we admit that Bayern Munich had a bad performance in the game against Dortmund a few days ago, but from the statistics available show that Bayern Munich are still able to dominate in the game and they are just unlucky to take advantage of opportunities well in scoring,  because we saw that their attack was also quite dangerous and managed to create 17 chances with 3 shots on target, and I think in that match of course Bayern Munich was still able to give maximum resistance against Dortmund.

While Arsenal, who just got a draw in the league, actually their performance is a little worse than Bayern Munich, yes maybe a draw is still better than a loss, but their performance playing is certainly in the spotlight after only being able to continue to hold on to get 1 point in the game, and I think with 28% possession from Arsenal of course it shows how depressed Arsenal are in the game,  In addition, the game against Manchester City is Arsenal second worst game after against Porto in terms of creating chances with 2 shot on target, I think with the comparison of the two teams of course at least you can see if in terms of performance Bayern Munich is still superior to Arsenal, besides that I think if Arsenal apply the same game tactics as against City later when their against Bayern Munich then I think they are just waiting for time to see the goal created in Raya goal.

I could actually negotiate when Real Madrid and City were to be beaten in the quarters. I think it's too soon. I personally think, if the two teams meet in semi-final or alternate like Adhikar, the atmosphere of the match will be more interesting. These two teams are favorites to win.And this representative that his team will have a big opportunity. All are big matches. I predict the other team to qualify is either Munich or Arsenal. They are quite and solid this season.

Since i will take multi then here's my choices.

Arsenal vs Bayern  = Arsenal or draw
Real Madrid VS Man city = Madrid or draw
PSG VS Barcelona = Draw - barcelona
Dourtmund VS Atletico madrid = Madrid or draw

I was taking double chances since i knew that if all of these matches are having very high risk. I meant that if the results for the draw to happen in any matches are so big too. That being said that if it totally make sense when i was trying to decrease my risk to win my bet.
I prefer to get higher chance to win the gme rather than only focusing on how big the odds for my bet.


The result from the match bayern vs dortmund has told me that of bayern is not even stronger compared to the dortmund. Bayern has always become a nightmare for arsenal but there are many things are changing a lot. Dortmund is far stronger compared to the bayern and it was even able surviving through the hell group which is unbelievable to see that.
This is why i valued dortmund far above bayern at this moment. The match for PSG vs barcelona is kinda hard to predict but it seemed to me that if barcelona is really convincing me to pick it.

These are my prediction for the following champions league games
Arsenal vs Bayern
Real Madrid VS Man city
PSG VS Barcelona
Dourtmund VS Atletico madrid
As we can see Arsenal is having a good season so they might be able to win Bayern, not too easy but a win with a goal difference of probably one (1), seeing Arsenal defense and mield field composure against Mancity in the premiere league, I doubt if they would conceive more than a goal when facing Bayern. Mancity VS Madrid will be a though match but Mancity will still drag their win to themselves because for the past two season Mancity have been winning Madrid. The match between PSG and Barcelona may result to a win for PSG or a tie for their first leg matches. Going to Dourtmund match against Atletico madrid will be a win for Atletico madrid and dafeat for the black and yellow considering their performance this season.

I also feel the same disappointment because we have to see them compete earlier, how could it not be that the quarter-finals in my opinion are the initial matches for elite clubs like Manchester City and Real Madrid. Indeed the match between the two looks evenly matched, but if they play earlier we won't watch one of them in the semifinals, even though many are waiting for these two clubs to meet in the final so that the match in the Champions League looks exciting with fierce competition between the two favorite clubs.

Whichever one of these clubs is able to win in this match, they will probably get the Champions League trophy because the performance of both of them was more convincing in winning the title. In fact, it is quite difficult to determine who will win this match even though Real Madrid were beaten by Manchester City last season in the semifinals, but Real Madrid doesn't want to make the same mistake.

Yes, the possibility that progressing to the final will be Arsenal and Bayern Munich and they will face one of the clubs we mentioned above, but only one between Bayern Munich and Arsenal and we don't know who will win because they haven't played either. It looks like this quarter-final match is quite tense for us to watch between clubs with equal performance.

A little bit disappointed I would say. Who rejects such a huge job when Bayern Munich opens up? Man's the prize and he is well aware about that honestly.
I really wanted him to switch to Bayern Munich but look at him, stubborn just like his team lol. Congratulations to him anyways. Hard fight. I don't think they'll lose the next few games.
They're most likely to lose games in the Uefa Europa League Competition not the Bundesliga League Competition.

Normally, he'll be backed so he gets enough depth for both the Bundesliga League Competition and the Champions League Competition. I'm still waiting to see if they could still win the treble.

Bayern Munich without doubt is one of the most successful clubs in the history of the UEFA Champions League competition and I don't think there's anyone who would want to take that fact away from them. Also, they have players who are very experienced when it comes to the competition but considering their recent results and the fact that they were beaten at home by Borussia Dortmund during the weekend in the German Bundesliga, I'm now having a strong doubt that they can be able to get past Arsenal and reach the next stage of the competition.  The German champions have been absolutely poor with their performances in recent games and facing a Mikel Arteta's Arsenal with this their current performance, I think it'll be very difficult to get a result that'll see them reach the semi finals of the competition.
Bayern Munich's coach Thomas Tuchel is now acting like a manager who's totally clueless of the best approach to secure good results and if he fails to improve the performance of his team, Arsenal with their current form will easily eliminate them. History without doubt plays major roles in the competition but sometimes it takes how good a club is for them to succeed in the competition

Bayern is one of the teams that have strong mentality when they play in Champions League. That makes them capable of bouncing back strongly from defeats. Comparing Bayern and Arsenal in Champions League history would seem to have a big gap. But Arsenal which have historical struggles against Bayern will undoubtedly be motivated to overcome their past record and make a statement in the Champions League. On the other hand, Bayern will be keen to maintain their status as contenders and seize their opportunity to advance in the tournament.

Tuchel might represent their best chance to achieve a silverware this season. Bayern will be determined to capitalize on this opportunity and give their all to make up for their failure in Bundesliga. The clash between Bayern and Arsenal promises some dramas where two strong teams fighting with contrasting motivations. The game will provide whether Bayern continue their dominance over Arsenal or Arsenal make a their statement in Champions League which they had not been participated for so long.

All Bayern Munich gave is now the Champions League and if they lose this tournament Tuchel can be even under more pressure and I guess he will do anything to not lose the match against Arsenal.
The Bundesliga title is already lost for Tuche and his players, he even said that in the conference after the game they had against Dortmund. They are going to now have a hard game against Arsenal, while Arsenal is in the good form and I think with the current situation of both teams, Arsenal can easily beat Bayern Munich.

When we are talking about the quarterfinals as a whole, since when does it make sense to look at one game in isolation? Whether PSG plays at home or Barcelona plays at home, of course it does shift the chances for that single game in favor of the home team when in general both teams are about equally strong.

Looking at both games combined, and that was what my post was about, this matchup is a coin flip for me. It is a 50:50 game as I see that PSG has an advantage in their home game while Barcelona has a slight advantage when they play at the Camp Nou. But overall chances for both teams to advance to the next round are about equal. There is no favorite I think.

The team that has made it to the quarter finals is the best at the moment, no one should underestimate it and no one should be underestimated. They really understand the atmosphere of the Champions League, where a small mistake can wipe out their chances of progressing to the next round. Arsenal is indeed in impressive form, but they cannot necessarily beat Bayern easily.

Bayern has a wealth of experience when playing in the Champions League, they also have coaches and players who have won the trophy. Arteta certainly understands this very well, and the head to head record can be used as a valuable lesson that Bayern should not be underestimated at all, even though they are currently experiencing a decline in performance in the Bundesliga.

I assume Bayern can still show a different performance in the Champions League, and it will be quite easy for them to recover from defeat. If you look at the strengths of Bayern and Arsenal, in fact the two teams have strengths that are not much different. Arsenal will try their best to break their bad record when facing Bayern, and Tuchel's squad will try to protect their only chance of winning a trophy this season.

I was happy seeing the news that Xabi Alonso have decided to stay back and continue with Bayern Leverkusen for another season. I just don’t want him to leave the club so soon, just maybe he can still do the same he does this season by next season and also give a big shot at the champions league competition next season. This will give him the hype and will increase his popularity, chances and interest from other top clubs.

Xabi Alonso shouldn’t rush but build a solid foundation with this club before looking out at other bigger clubs where he’ll get a better pay. He can make them the invincible if he wish to because I can see that he has all the quality and can manage a team very well in achieving such results within a short time window.

What if Bayern Munich lost out in their league just to get ready to play against Arsenal, let's not forget they they have a very good record against Arsenal and their performance in the champions league can't be compared to that of their league because even when they were playing very poor in the league they still came back to beat Lazio 3:0 to book their ticket to the quarter  finals. Arsenal is in good shape and form now but they need not to underestimate Bayern Munich because they will come all out to ake sure they get  a win in their first leg and if they are able to achieve that, you won't believe what the final score will be in the returning leg because they will be aiming to facing the next opponent and their confidence will be back. All the teams in this stage is good but is t is still very impossible to know the team that will be champions but after the semi finals the best two will come out from there.

How sure can we be that Bayern will be defeated, it is likely unpredictable, the match between Arsenal and Bayern will be a tough one, tho not compromising our postulations, Arsenal is likely to win, their performance is something the fans can talk about.
The chances of Bayern becoming champions is limited, the remaining teams on this same race are not just ordinary or normal, these are the best of teams that are capable of becoming champions, it will take a lot of sweat and strength for Bayern to become the winners, knowing they have very strong opponents to face, teams like Real Madrid or Mancity, PSG or Barcelona, these couple of teams would not relent on securing victories from any other team standing on their way.  

Actually Bayern wasn't having a claim to the title but they were only looking promising in that they were going to possibly get to the semifinals of the champions league and if possible probably get pass to the final but I aswell never taught they would win the champions league but never to underestimate them, they could still achieve it if they are keen to it and diligent to making sure they win the champions league.

Arsenal is currently looking more promising but then their performance today I'm their domestic league is such that wouldn't help their confidence against Bayern Munich but then even Bayern Munich didn't have a good performance too in their league game too this weekend but then i think both teams are going to give their very best to making sure they are able to get the best performance in the champions league because both teams are aware of what's at Stake in the champions league games, they both are not even sure of their domestic leagues either.

Arsenal and Bayern Munich both have a chance at the champions league as they will be playing at each other's home later in the game, Bayern is still the favourite to most persons because they looked like they have got more experience in the champions y than Arsenal but it looks like Arsenal has got a very good defense and that will be for Bayern to tackle if they would want to get goal from Bayern Munich.

Yes, actually, after Bayern Munich's defeat, there will definitely be many people who doubt that Bayern Munich will be able to win the Champions League title, but in my opinion, this is too early.
It can never be predicted what results Bayern Munich will get in the Champions League at this time and it could be a bad performance in the Bundesliga, but at the end of the season Bayern Munich can win the title in the Champions League like several seasons ago.
For everyone who is a Bayern Munich fan, they will definitely continue to support and believe that Bayern Munich can still win the title in the Champions League, but for me after the defeat and poor performance in yesterday's match, I am a little doubtful.

You're right, they were very good defensively in this game, but they weren't good at trying to go on offense. However, I can still consider this to be normal because Manchester City really controlled the game and did not allow Arsenal to develop their game in this match. This can also be an evaluation material for them in the future on how they can get out of continuous pressure. Because Bayern Munich also has the opportunity to implement a possession game.

Bayern Munich is not as strong as Manchester City in my opinion, so maybe the match will be different from this match. Arsenal could play more developed and not show the game like in this game.
