The odds for the first leg of the PSG - Barcelona matchup are:

PSG look quite favourite which isn't surprising at all. When it comes to PSG to advance to next phase they are favourite for that as well. I'm really curious about what Xavi will do while they are the underdog here.  Smiley  I'm also expecting PSG to get past them honestly. It isn't going to be easy for Barcelona to stop Mbappe while they are having a bad season defensively. Not finding a solution to him will decrease their chances to advance.

I think PSG will win home first and finish the work by a decent score in the second leg.
UCL comes with tough fixtures and we would look at the extreme ends. I'm more convinced for Barcelona to triumphed over Paris Saint-Germain this season, it's never going to be easy path for both clubs. PSG vs Barcelona in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League competition, it's really a tough battle for both sides. Who's taking the lead? We could vividly remember what happened the last time they met, Barcelona eliminated Paris Saint-Germain with a stupendous comeback and this was a thrilling moment for them.

Still waiting to see who will emerge victorious in the match between Paris Saint Germain vs Barcelona in the quarter-finals. In my opinion, their meeting is quite balanced, because Barcelona is not in the best condition they have, while Paris Saint Germain are good in the domestic league, but in the Champions League they often struggle. It is quite difficult to predict who will win, because the two clubs that will meet have their own advantages.

This will be proof for Xavi, because he is under a lot of pressure from management, he must be able to prove that with the current situation they are experiencing they can still compete in the Champions League. On the other hand, this is also an opportunity for Paris Saint Germain, because this might be their last season with Mbappe. We know Mbappe is a mainstay for Paris Saint Germain so they will probably rely on him once again. Yes, even though we know that it won't be enough if played by just one person.

It is fine that we begin to see Arsenal in a different level since last season. Even in the European competitions Arsenal is not that mediocrity anymore. We cannot say that their good form will only end in the premier League. There's no doubt that Bayern Munich has a better record in the Champions League than Arsenal. Even when you check the head to head, Arsenal is no where close to Bayern Munich. However, history ends one day and it could be this time.
Arsenal have had a fairly consistent performance in the last two seasons, after being absent for a long time in the Champions League and in their first season they were able to immediately reach the quarter-finals. Mikel Arteta become most successful manager how develop Arsenal return to consistency performance with playing well in domestic league and achievement in Champion League. Left one step closer destroying bad record getting by Arsenal when facing Bayern Munich in Champion League.

Both team will meet in quarter final match and currently Bayern Munich not on the top level performance after dropping more points in domestic league, in this time I think Arsenal has chance for eliminating Bayern Munich for the first time and excited if can see Mikel Arteta success bring Arsenal to Champion League final match.

When Arsenal managed to qualify it meant they could not be underestimated, for whatever reason Bayern Munich also had to be careful, after all both teams could fight each other 50:50 both of them were equally strong. I will not take it lightly, that the conditions of each team are different and in the hands of different coaches too. For this reason the meeting between the two is not just about experience in the UCL anymore but a battle over which coach tactics are effective. I think Arsenal can still beat Bayern Munich and that has huge potential. Bayern Munich itself now relies on Kane or Sane, while Arsenal strength is more evenly distributed, the same as Manchester City. Each line of Arsenal players is quite solid.

Yes Arsenal have so far gone quite well in the league and also the Champions League but I think for now they have an opponent that has not been expected, after suffering many defeats to Bayern Munich, of course from the beginning of the escape they did not hope not to meet Bayern Munich again, because indeed they are aware that no matter what the condition of Bayern Munich in the league,  Bayern Munich remains a very dangerous club in the Champions League so far.

I don't want to underestimate Arsenal, but so far we can see 90% of predictions from football experts in the media and social media actually assume that Arsenal will not be able to beat Bayern Munich even though they have a better performance at the moment in the league, what you say is quite true, if Arsenal's performance and strength have been evenly distributed on every line, but what you forget is the Arsenal squad which is mostly young players of course Just don't have the mentality and experience that Bayern Munich current squad has, that's why if you equate Arsenal with Manchester City then I would say you are wrong because at the moment Arsenal's level is still very far compared to Manchester City who have a lot of experience in winning domestic and European competitions.

I think PSG will win home first and finish the work by a decent score in the second leg.

Basically, such odds still do not guarantee that the favored team will win easily, and of course any result can still happen. After all, for example Mbappe really managed to score a goal but at the same time, that Barcelona still has the ability to return goals and or make goals in thismatch . Therefore, the result will still be difficult to predict even though indeed, PSG will still have a better chance of winning based on the odds . But anyway, basically Barcelona is also not a completely weak team and also, if for example PSG managed to win in this first leg, but of course there is still a chance for Barcelona to be able to turn things around in the second leg later.

So yes, the factor that makes PSG a favorite in this first leg is that PSG plays at home and also has Mbappe who will be a complete threat to the Barcelona defense. But besides that, Enrique is also very familiar with Barcelona and therefore, it seems to make sense if at this moment PSG is the favorite team to win compared to Barcelona.

there's also chance that arsenal might qualify because of sheer luck, that should also be considered into account, because right now bayern munich also have a lot of history of solid wins i don't think its gonna be an easy game for these two teams but i rather prefer bayern munich i might be biased though with my judgement but also i favour bayern with a reason.
History of the Bayern Munich massacre? Yes, I also understand that because the people who favor Bayern Munich are still optimistic about the benchmark of this extraordinary victory and with a big score. However, we also have to be aware of the current fact that the difference in mental strength and the difference in squad composition has become such a real difference that it is no longer relevant to continue relying on Bayern Munich's meetings with Arsenal in the past. Even though it is legal, this is quite normal and no one prohibits it. Moreover, in the end we cannot expect Bayern Munich to come out with a big score.

I guess most people will be wrong because everyone thinks that Arsenal can't win against Bayern Munich, I don't really understand that.
Arsenal is a really good team and they can deal with Bayern Munich..
As I said, the games are very close to being played and we will know the result soon.
I think there Is nothing wrong with that, because indeed we have different views in looking at the possibility of who will win in the game, at the moment Arsenal are call into doubt not because of their poor performance but indeed so far we have not seen a strong mentality from Arsenal when they are in the Champions League,  Bayern Munich and Arsenal have different performances in the domestic league, but their journey to the Champions League quarterfinals this season is quite the same because of their position which did lose in the first leg, but the difference Is that arsenal actually Struggled to beat Porto while Bayern Munich easily turned the tide against Lazio in the second leg.

I will not ask why you favor Arsenal to beat Bayern Munich, but I personally will only say  If so far Bayern Munich has a better record than Arsenal when they meet, besides that the achievements that Bayern Munich have been able to achievement so far in the Champions League is of course proof of how strong their Mentality is,  It is not impossible for Arsenal to beat Bayern Munich and Qualify for the semi-finals, but in my opinion it is very unlikely to happen.
We have different predictions and I think there's nothing wrong with that because we judge a team from our own point of view, regardless of what our predictions are, I think it's normal because currently Bayern Munich and Arsenal have almost the same quality in terms of performance or team strength. so indeed both have the same chance of winning the match.

This season everything has changed compared to last season, Arsenal are much stronger and Bayern Munich, on the contrary, they failed to defend the Bundesliga title and in terms of performance Bayern Munich is also very inconsistent this season so for these reasons what has happened throughout this season makes I think these two teams have not much different chances of qualifying for the semifinals.
This is a fierce and difficult match for both teams.
You raise a fair point about the potential for an even matchup. But Im seeing some things that tip the scales towards Bayern. They hit a rough patch, everyone knows that, but lately, they've been playing with renewed energy. Its the kind of turnaround that shows mental toughness, a real asset in these decisive games. Dealing with the Tuchel drama and still finding their form? Thats impressive.

Now, Arsenal... fantastic team, really exciting season for them. They dominate in plenty of matches, but I worry about them under the spotlight. Top-tier opponents seem to expose something. Its not a skill issue, more like a mental hurdle when the pressure's on. Bayern's proven time and again they can thrive in that environment, and that might just be the deciding factor here.

Bayern Munich have rebuilt their squad this season and Bayern Munich have spent a considerable amount of money this season to strengthen their attacking line. Bayern Munich signed a star like Harry Kane but still I don't know why they can't be consistent. The team has been in second place since the start of the Bundesliga season and has been unable to compete with Leverkusen despite trying from the start. It is still uncertain whether Harry Kane will be available for the Champions League clash against Arsenal as the England star was sidelined with an injury in England's last friendly against Brazil. If Bayern Munich have to field against Arsenal with the absence of Harry Kane, then Bayern Munich may fall behind against Arsenal. Arsenal had several injury problems last season but this season they have not had so many injury problems so it wouldn't surprise us at all if Arsenal win against Bayern Munich.

There are many things that may be influencing Bayern Munich to not be able to do things well, maybe they are exaggerating too much and things are not going well, I do not know if it is because of the desire to do things better, or because they are losing to win the Bundesliga and Leverkusen is the main contender for them and they do not see that they can do something to reach them even though they have a Harry Kane that cost them a lot to bring him, this is something they also see, in this order of ideas it can be said that they have a great opportunity to do things better if they put or focus on the UCL, it is one of the things that can be favorable and they would be saving their position, maybe the fans will understand that for them the UCL is better than the Bundesliga, they have lost sight of it without a doubt, at this moment Leverkusen is playing against Hoffenheim and Leverkusen is losing, this could be favorable for Bayern if Leverkusen loses this match.

Julian Nagelsmann returning to Bayern Munich remains a possibility

Quote
Bayern Munich chiefs have their work cut out to find the successor of Thomas Tuchel after Xabi Alonso decides to stay at Bayer Leverkusen. The Spanish coach was the top target for Bayern to take over the head coach position in the summer.

Max Eberl and Christoph Freund will work on the alternative options after Alonso announced his decision on Friday. Brighton’s Roberto De Zerbi is a strong candidate for this role, as Eberl held talks with him during the international break. Aston Villa's Unai Emery has also been linked with a move to Bayern.

Apart from De Zerbi, Julian Nagelsmann has now emerged as another strong candidate to become Bayern’s new head coach. On Friday, Sky Sports in Germany reported that Nagelsmann is on Bayern’s shortlist. Meanwhile, Bild reported that Eberl has already held talks with Nagelsmann’s representatives.

Arsenal may be in their best form but that is mostly in their premiership league which is totally different from the champions league. When it comes to the champions league, a lot of things come into play and experience is at the front of the factors. Bayern Munic is obviously more experienced than Arsenal when it comes to the champions league. Arsenal have to try very hard to be able to overcome Munic that is favorite to qualify. Now that they are not likely to win their league, they will channel all their energy to the champions league unlike Arsenal that is also fighting very hard to win the English Premiership title.

I don't believe that Bayern Munich will be able to remove Arsenal from the champions league this year. Arsenal is no longer that fragile team they used to be. Arteta has succeeded in transforming this team, that they are now a threat to any team they face. The game is very much balanced, Bayern is having a poor season domestically while Arsenal are having a wonderful season. This clearly makes Arsenal the favourite team to win and qualify.
I also think that Arsenal is no longer a fragile team like last season because they themselves can definitely learn from what happened to them last season so that Arsenal can improve it this season. Although I also don't consider Bayern Munich a team that has failed this season because Munich is only behind Leverkusen in its own domestic league and no other team has been able to surpass Munich so far so the meeting between Arsenal and Munich in the Champions League quarter-finals this season will be very interesting to see.
Arsenal's strength has improved a lot at the moment and this is in contrast to Bayern Munich, which has experienced a slight decline and their inability to maintain consistency this season means this match will be difficult.
Mathematically, based on what happened last season, Bayern Munich will be slightly favored in this match, but if you look at the strength, I see there is a chance for both teams to qualify for the semifinals.

Both teams Arsenal and Bayern Munich have changed a lot during these years sicne they played a game against each other for the last time. Arsenal had many weaknesses and they were not in the good form. Also, we are talking about Bayern Munich while they were in the best form and they could beat any team in the Bundesliga and even in the Champions League. Now Arsenal changed and lot and with a coach like Arteta in this team, they are motivated more than before which can help the team.
On the other hand, Bayern Munich is having hard days and they are not in the good situation in the Bundesliga which can have a negative effect on this team.

Bayern Munich have rebuilt their squad this season and Bayern Munich have spent a considerable amount of money this season to strengthen their attacking line. Bayern Munich signed a star like Harry Kane but still I don't know why they can't be consistent. It's very rational if you think PSG can win over two legs and actually I also think that way. It is possible that PSG will win at home with a score of 2-0 and in the second leg only with a narrow 2-1 win. I think it also puts Barcelona in a bad situation if they lose the first leg and it will be very difficult for them to catch up on the existing goal aggregate.

In the first leg, Luis Enrique will definitely want to emphasize Mbappe to destroy Barcelona's defense and when other players focus on Mbappe, PSG will have a gap with the entry of other players in Barcelona's defense and at that time Barcelona's goal will be much easier to break down. It seems that we don't need to discuss history and it makes more sense if we talk about their respective strengths at the moment and it must be admitted that PSG is much stronger than Barcelona. I also don't hesitate to bet on PSG and with odds like that I can make money easily.
In my opinion, that's too much, we have to be realistic about the strength of the two teams and it cannot be denied that the Barcelona team's strength has greatly increased now, so it is possible that they can provide significant resistance in the quarter-final match against PSG.
In fact, I think the percentages for both teams are still equal enough to qualify for the semifinals.

Regarding PSG being slightly favored when playing at home in the first leg, this is quite natural because those who will be fully supported by their fans will definitely have higher self-confidence, but I don't think that's too much because Barcelona could hold on to a draw. PSG to make them more profitable for the second leg later.

I probably won’t agree that these are equal teams. Yes, Bayern had some decline, mainly due to the internal conflict in the team of players with Tuchel, but as far as I can judge from the latest results, this conflict has been resolved, the players achieved their goal, and Tuchel will leave the team in the summer.

Arsenal, despite the fact that they show a good game, are not always stable in their results. I noticed that they can play very well against weak and average teams, but they play differently against strong teams (by the way, let's see how they show themselves against City). I think that the Bayern will not lose in London and will win at home, that’s my forecast.

I agree there is a really nice improvement in Bayern Munich's recent results. However this can still be misleading. Because Bayern Munich have had inconsistencies quite often. We don't know how determined team we will see against Arsenal for now. If we consider that the Bundesliga title has slipped through their fingers they had better fight with all they have in the Champions League.

Kane is recovering faster than the expectations which is good news for them.  Smiley  Without Kane scoring issues might occur to tell the truth. He has been like a goal machine so far. As for Arsenal they actually beat even Manchester City at Emirates this season. Bayern Munich will need to be ready for fast and dangerous Arsenal attacks.  Wink

That's true about their inconsistencies, but to me it seemed that something has fundamentally changed within a short period of time. It is not only about the results, but about their regained self-confidence and how they are pushing the opponent during those games. This is a different Bayern Munich team in my opinion and I see them as being a bit stronger than Arsenal at the moment. If they have all their players available in the best shape, I think it is a 60:40 chance for Bayern to advance to the next round. Kane is going to be fit again I guess and none of the players is in a serious crisis.

Arsenal seems has good schedule match since against Bayern Munich in Champion League quarter final match on the first and second legs, before facing Bayern on the first leg match Arsenal will face Brighton Albion and Arteta will make huge rotation regarding Brighton is not difficult opponent teams in this season and easily take three points for pressure Liverpool and Manchester City in Premier League then keep taking positive capital for second leg matches.
First they will meet Manchester City, second they will meet Brighton and Arsenal have many reasons to not seriously rotate their players before matches with Bayern Munich. They don't have too many good players for rotation and the competition in Premier League is not easy, and Arsenal don't have good advantage against Liverpool and Manchester City to bet with player rotation that can cost them dropped points.

Brighton is not a weak team in Premier League and Arsenal will make big bet to rotate many players in a match with Brighton. They will have less reasons to rotate players if they won't have good result from a match with Manchester City.

But overall, Bayern Munich has a big chance because Arsenal has a busy schedule and all the matches are important. I see this as one of the reasons why EPL clubs rarely win the UCL. The reason is that the league schedule is very busy. For example, next April after playing against Man City, Arsenal will have to play again on the 4th against Luton, then on the 6th against Brighton, and on the 10th against Bayern Munich. three games a week.

Meanwhile, other leagues only play once, for example Bayern Munich only plays on the 6th, even Real Madrid only plays on the 1st before meeting Man City on the 10th. You could say that the excitement of the EPL is very challenging. However, being able to compete with other leagues in the UCL is a problem for teams from the EPL league.
Currently Arsenal huge pressure for winning premier league this season, lead top standings awhile and next match have to face Manchester City but when facing Bayern Munich will face some of weakness premier league team. Arteta will make rotation but Arsenal keep easily for winning the premier league match for the first leg before facing Bayern will against Brighton and face Aston Villa before second leg matches.
