Munich is also considered a team that is good at turning things around. as they showed in the round of 16, they were behind in the first leg and reversed it in the second leg.
This situation could happen to Arsenal. and as you said, if Arteta wants to be safe, they have to be ahead by more than 1 goal. It will be quite difficult if Munich is in top form.
There is still preparation time, anything can happen, but I hope both teams are at their best when the game starts.

I would say this match is very difficult to predict. There is no doubt that the Bayern Munich team is more experienced than Arsenal in the Champions League. But Arteta's Arsenal are in very good form right now. Arsenal are currently at the top of the Premier League table. Beating such a team is definitely going to be a tough challenge for Bayern Munich.

Arsenal's past record against Bayern Munich on the Champions League platform is not good. The teams met twice in 2015 and 2017. Bayern Munich won all three matches by a big margin, Arsenal won one match 2-0. Bayern Munich will definitely want to continue this trend. But if none of Arsenal's key players suffer from injuries, and if Arsenal can play with their full squad, Arsenal have the potential to beat Bayern Munich this season.

Mikel Arteta will probably face strong pressure because they also have to continue to perform well in the English Premier League. If they make the wrong strategy they will fail in these two competitions and that will certainly be very disappointing because last season they failed in the English Premier League as well as in European competitions even though It's not the Champions League, but I still doubt Arsenal will be in this competition and my prediction is that they won't make it to the semifinals.
I am very doubtful in terms of head to head because Bayern Munich is too strong for Arsenal, is it possible that Mikel Arteta will give resistance to Bayern Munich, with the tactics he has because Arsenal is not that strong to face Bayern Munich, it is likely that he will have difficulties when playing at home Bayern Munich, we know that the Allianz Arena is a scary home for the clubs that play there, so it is not surprising that every club will experience defeat there.
Arsenal's previous Champions League encounter with Bayern Munich didn't end well. But this time, it's a different Arsenal. We should leave the past behind and focus on the opportunities presented by manager Arteta. While Arsenal fans might have their doubts, playing against Bayern Munich at home is a tough challenge. Arsenal is in good form and can beat any team, but as you've said Bayern is also formidable, especially at the Allianz Arena.
Indeed, Arsenal has a bad history when they met Bayern Munich in the Champions League. The last time the two teams met, Arsenal were beaten by Bayer Munich with an aggregate of 10-2. Bayern Munich is not an easy opponent for Arsenal to beat, especially when playing at the Allianz Arena. However, this season Arsenal is in a positive momentum in contrast to Bayer Munich. Therefore, with Arsenal's performance this season, it seems that Arteta is able to beat Bayern Munich and take Arsenal through to the semifinals.

In the first leg match Arsenal must be able to win the match and be able to score more than one goal if they want to qualify for the next round because of course Arsenal will have difficulty playing in the second leg match playing at home to Munich, Arteta must be able to take advantage of this opportunity to qualify for the next round. only he knows how to beat Munich, which is actually the strongest team in the UCL, that's why many people say that to become champion in the UCL you have to get rid of Munich and Madrid so everything will run smoothly.

This is Arsenal's chance to get rid of Munich if they really want to show their best strength in the UCL and I think the strength of both of them is clearly the same so for anyone it will be difficult to predict the result because both of them are equally strong, but don't forget that Kane as a striker in Munich has been playing for a long time in the English EPL league, of course he knows how to score a goal against Arsenal which might help Munich gain the upper hand against Arsenal even though they are playing at Arsenal's home ground, it seems that Munich will play their best to win.

Taking into account the fact that Bayern is far from what it was before, I would say that the chances are approximately equal. At least in London, Arsenal will be the favorite, and in Munich, Bayern. Historically, Bayern has priority, but as you know, it is not history that plays on the field, but the players. If we think strictly logically without paying attention to brands, then I would say that Arsenal looks like an easy choice to bet on, because this season they are more stable and have not had any obvious failures, while Bayern had all these problems and continues to have them.

I think in this case we cannot ignore history in a competition between two teams, because after all we often see a strong team that is difficult win when to meet another weaker team because they have a bad history with that the weak team, however the history of statistics and head to head of both teams sometimes becomes a moral support for a club and will certainly make the motivation of the club's players stronger to be able to Making history is maintained, and that's why I think Arsenal will be inseparable from their dark story when they meet Munich in the Champions League.

So far we know that Arsenal always have nightmares when meeting Bayern and this season Arsenal also inevitably must meet Bayern again, to be honest I personally am a little worried about Arsenal's chances of going far in the Champions League this season, although Arsenal is now starting to look as a strong team in the league but for the Champions League it seems they have no change at all like the previous season,  Especially when we see if they are very difficult in beating Porto in the first and second legs of the round of 16, while Munich who are down in the league of course they have a stronger mentality when playing in the Champions League and that's why I say if it might be difficult for Arsenal to beat Bayern Munich, especially in the second leg later.
I personally would love to see Arsenal go far in the Champions League this season but am a bit pessimistic if Munich are their opponents.

PSG has Mbappe, Mbappe has the ability to score a lot of goals. On the other hand, Barcelona's Lewandowski is a very experienced player. Lewandowski has the ability to break down PSG's defence. So considering the squad I cannot consider a particular team as favourite.

PSG coach Luis Enrique is well aware of Barcelona's gameplay. He knows very well how Barcelona plays the game tactically. And I would say this is Barcelona's main weakness. Xavi will have to apply a different match strategy if he wants to beat PSG. Otherwise, Luis Enrique's side will not win Barcelona against PSG.
Luis Enrique who once managed Barcelona, is of course very well known about the way his former team played, he can more easily find tactics that can narrow down the movements of Barcelona players in developing their game. Mbappe is of course the key player that Luis Enrique will use to break down Barcelona defense, his ability to score goals cannot be doubted, he also has a strong physique and is able to run fast which can trouble Barcelona defense area.
However recently Barcelona's style of play has improved much more than before, the victory over Atletico Madrid indicates that they are ready to face PSG. The clubs that are still in the UCL are a little worried about the international break, the FIFA virus often attacks the players which makes them hit by injuries.

Arsenal is one of the powerful teams in England but it's rather unfortunate that when they face big teams from other leagues, they hardly win those big teams and most of the time they are always at the losing side. Arsenal have made some improvements both last season and this season but believe me that Arsenal can not be able to withstand Bayern Munich because looking at the both teams previous meetings, Arsenal is mostly at losing side and now that Bayern Munich looks like they have lost hope in the Bundesliga title, they will take this champions league more serious than Arsenal who is topping the premier league table and at an advantage of winning a trophy despite the tension amongst the top four teams in the premiership.

The match against Bayern will be a real test for Arsenal and Arteta, yes, it is time for Arsenal to believe in their own abilities. With the right focus and determination, they must be sure they can compete with Bayer Munich today.
The most important thing for Arsenal right now is to be able to focus on 2 tight competitions, because in the EFL they are at the top, if they make mistakes it is not impossible that this season Arsenal will fail to win the EFL again, as well as the UCL after not qualifying for 14 years. Top 8, and this season is proof that Arsenal can compete again in the Champions League competition.

Barcelona have the ability to win this match. In the last match against Atlético Madrid, the Barcelona players performed brilliantly. The team is in very good rhythm. On the other hand, PSG's performance is still completely dependent on Mbappe. If Mbappe plays well PSG has a chance to win, and if Mbappe doesn't perform well PSG has a very low chance of winning against Barcelona.

he certainly has the skills to win the match without problems, without a doubt
but it doesn`t seem as solid to me as it wants to appear, on the contrary
there is a lot of turbulence internally in my opinion and a team that is not in order internally cannot give its best
obviously this is a shame.. for me
In fact, PSG is not completely dependent on Mbappe. It's just that the best striker there is still held by Mbappe. And Mbappe's performance is also at his best at the moment. Even though his contract looks like it will end there, Mbappe seems to want to make happy memories at PSG. So he and his friends might even be ambitious enough to even beat Barcelona later. But on the one hand, I also see Barcelona starting to improve. The attack coordination shown by Barcelona in the match against Atletico Madrid was quite surprising because Barcelona seemed to have rediscovered their lost strength. But still, the quarter-final match between PSG and Barcelona is still quite difficult to predict. Because I feel that both of them have equal strength at the moment. Unless Barcelona can play with their maximum strength then Barcelona deserves to be the favorite.
Actually, both teams have good strength. Mbappe is an important trump card and I am sure they will use this trump card in the most correct way. For Enrique, Barcelona is a familiar team. He will analyze them well and find their shortcomings. Also, PSG's defense will have a lot of work to do in this match. They have to not give too many positions to Barcelona. I believe the French can pass the tour. Mbappe sometimes puts on a one-man show and helps the team rise to the next level. If such a day happens, it could be a terrible match for Barça.
You're right. Both teams are loaded! When in the zone, Mbappe is unstoppable. Sometimes wild to watch. However, Enrique's Barcelona knowledge offers PSG an edge. Strategy can be based on their shortcomings. Barca remains Barca. They have great potential and an underdog attitude that can change everything. I expect this to be one of those wild matches we speak about forever. Hope its as good as we think!

I agree that PSG's defense needs improvement. Barca will spot errors. Although both clubs have been shaky lately, Champions League is a different ballgame. Barca has been dominating La Liga, which may help. PSG's attack is ridiculous, especially with Mbappe. This match is too close to call!

You are not the only one saddened by the fact that no Italian side made it to the quarter finals. I had serious confidence in Inter Milan who maintained such a wonderful record this season in both their local league and international competitions. Inter Milan won their first leg in against Atletico Madrid and during the second leg, they scored first which made me conclude they would qualify. How they allowed Atletico Madrid to score them two goals that made the match enter extra time and eventually penalty shootout is what surprised me.
I think Inter Milan lost concentration to maintain their victory in the first leg so that in the second leg they had to admit Atletico Madrid's superiority and in the end we had to completely lose Italy's representation in the Champions League competition. Previously, I was also quite sure that Inter Milan would be able to face Atletico Madrid in the second leg because they had finished the first leg with a small victory. But everything changed and Atletico Madrid was able to rise to get rid of Inter Milan at home.

These are two times I was tipping either of them to win the trophy this year. It is unfortunate that they will be facing each other in a match that it has become extremely difficult to know who will take the lead. Whoever win in that match may likely go to the finals and eventually win the cup.
Mentally everyone would agree that Real Madrid is still the leading club in the Champions League even though last season Manchester City was the champion candidate. I still hold Real Madrid to qualify for the next round even though Manchester City also have the same chance. The winner will definitely reach the final and will likely win the Champions League this season.

That's right. And actually Barcelona has gaps in their defense this season. But in the match against Atletico Madrid I saw that this gap had been successfully repaired by Xavi. So now Barcelona can really be a more solid team than usual. Because they managed to improve their defense and even prevented Atletico Madrid from scoring a single goal in the match against Barcelona. And conversely, Barcelona's front line also seems to be improving. Felix and Lewandowski seem to have their enthusiasm for scoring goals back. On the one hand, PSG is also in good performance in their domestic league. But they can't just rely on Mbappe. Because Barcelona players will definitely guard Mbappe's position closely. And this usually happens. Like Haaland at Man City, who is always closely guarded by the opposing team. So Haaland often doesn't have many opportunities. And PSG also has to think about this so they can maintain a good attack even though Mbappe will be closely guarded by the opponent.

Atletico Madrid's victory over Inter Milan cannot be a benchmark, apart from that, we have to be realistic in looking at the overall strength that Atletico Madrid and Dortmund are quite equal and even these two teams have a strong enough mentality on the UCL stage so this match will be quite fierce.
In my opinion, there is no favorite because in terms of percentage, both teams have the same chance of getting to the semifinals.
I had always taught that inter Milan will rather qualify as against Atletico but then be that as it may it was actually interesting to see that inter Milan actually ended up crashing out even with their very awesome performance which I can say was actually worth their stay in the league, they actually were looking forward to bringing back the same performance they did showed last season but then it turned out they got stopped.

Dortmund isn't one team we should see as equals with Atletico, personally I had taught that atletico wouldn't have made it to this point but it's actually really interesting how they have gotten this far already but Dortmund on the other hand is really bent on getting the very best from the champions league so any attempt to see them like they are looking weak will mean underestimating them and in the long run they will most definitely get to surprise you with the kind of results they will get back they really do look productive in their results so far.

This stage of the UCL usually comes with so much pressure and tension as all the teams are wanting to utilize every opportunity and are at the same time making sure not to exit but hoping to get to the final by every means possible because it's like an achievement if they get to the finals even if they happen not to finally win the trophy but then they will be better experienced Incase of a next time they will know how best to handle the game.

Why wouldn't it be a point to consider? In the end Atletico Madrid eliminated a more challenging opponent. This shows how decisive they are in the Champions League this season. Inter were one of the teams in last season finale you know.

I respect Dortmund's work in the Champions League. They are really much better compared to their performance in the Bundesliga. However I don't believe these teams have equal chance.  Sad  Bookmakers also think the same as the gap of odds is not low at all. This doesn't mean Dortmund can't reach the semi finals for certain. But this just shows how difficult their job will be against Simeone's team. Simeone can make an important impact on this matchup too.

It's a shame that we didn't see representatives of teams from Italy in the quarterfinals and instead there were more teams from Spain in this round. Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico were the three teams that made it through to this phase and only Real Sociedad was eliminated. I think once again Spain has proven that they have quite promising representatives and seeing Barcelona back again on the big stage is something special.

I previously didn't think that Barcelona would make it this far considering that in the previous two seasons they had always fallen since the group stage. A tough opponent is waiting for him and that is PSG, I think this time Barcelona will face a difficult road before they can reach the semifinals. We know that historically Barcelona has something to be proud of, but against PSG with the depth of its current squad, I don't think it can do enough. On the other hand, if Barcelona could send PSG home it would be an extraordinary thing and it would be something they would be proud of.

I heard news that if Xavi can take Barcelona to the semifinals then Juan Laporta will make every effort to keep Xavi so that he doesn't leave at the end of the season.

Yes, it's true that both of them almost have an equal performance and the other teams that will compete in the UCL all have equal opponents so it's difficult to predict who will win this match, Barcelona's goal rate is improving and Lewandowski has found his rhythm again, as well as PSG who have their flagship striker and I'm sure Mbappè will definitely make things difficult for the Barcelona players because we all know what Mbappè's speed is like, I actually support Barca more in this round but if you look at the chances it seems 50/50.

In terms of performance and squad it looks like Atletico and Dortmund are quite evenly matched, but so far of course we want to see who is the best between the two, I think Atletico and Dortmund will be very difficult for us to guess which team is better at the moment, because both also have similarities in their respective leagues, both Dortmund and Atletico are currently fighting to qualify for the Champions League next season,  So inevitably winning the Champions League this season is one alternative way they can qualify for the Champions League next season.

I personally quite agree with you, because indeed Dortmund and Atletico have the same performance, both often consistently win when facing their opponents but suddenly they can lose when facing a team that they should be easy to beat, at the moment we can't talk statistics when it comes to Dortmund and Atletico because both will probably end the leg with a win at their respective home and I personally am quite sure if His second victory will be decided on penalties in the second leg.

I see some people who are evaluating Atletico Madrid - Dortmund matchup like a really close one. I don't think so honestly. The Inter matchup was way more close one for Atletico Madrid.  Smiley  But even then Atletico Madrid managed to make a great comeback big thanks to Simeone's really good player strategies in the second half of the rematch.

Here against Dortmund I can just say it should be easier for Atletico Madrid. I don't underestimate Dortmund like they would lose by an embarrassing score or so. I just think they don't have as much strength as Inter to resist Atletico Madrid and even eliminate them.  Sad
I agree with your opinion, the chances of the two clubs are very equal and both have almost the same squad depth, it's just that Dortmund becomes a little stronger when the return of Sancho will be very reliable.
It is difficult to see the chances of a club qualifying for the next round, but if only it is limited to predicting if Dortmund is worthy of qualifying for the next round, although there is no guarantee, this is only on the horizon.

After looking at the head to head history of meetings between these two clubs, actually in the past Atletico Madrid was able to beat Dortmund but that was quite a long time ago and the closest was only in 2018, these two clubs had equal opportunities when competing at their respective home grounds and in my opinion Dortmund's mentality here is far superior to Atletico Madrid, but it depends on the 1st leg match whether Dortmund is able to not concede a big score and if Dortmund only concedes at least 1 or 2 scores, it is possible that in the 2nd leg, Dortmund can still get rid of Atletico Madrid.
Maybe in this match I will not bet on the 1st leg but choose to bet on Dortmund who will qualify for the next round.
