We will be anticipating these next few fixtures in the Champions league from April 9&10. Am waiting to see how Harry Kane carries his teams back to North London where he came from and with a good goal tally so far to his name.

Champions League semi-final draw:

*Atletico Madrid or Borussia Dortmund vs Paris
Saint-Germain or Barcelona

*Arsenal or Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid or Manchester City

You don't want Real Madrid to win and qualify for the next round don't mean they'll not win it. And you'll be vexed when you see them moving to the next round. Lol.
Real Madrid fans are not arrogant nor disrespectful. It's not boasting if you can back it up right? I'm more worried about the tactical approach of Carlo Ancellotti lately, has he not been too defensive? Manchester City and Real Madrid are both top sides whoever progresses must have to up his or her game.

I say it again, it's not bragging if you can back it up, and Real Madrid has indeed earned all of the Champions League Competition won over the Years.

I don't expect Real Madrid to return to the final and win the title, that would make their fans more arrogant and disrespectful to other teams. Manchester City must beat Real Madrid regardless of whether they can qualify for the final and defend their title, that is something that must be done so that the Champions League becomes very competitive between each team.

Real Madrid is of course known for its great history as the king of the Champions League title. It has made the average fan arrogant and booing other teams' fans all the time, so something has to change and any team including Manchester City should be able to stop them again this season.

I am not going to underestimate any of this teams and I would not also chose one team over the other as the favourite for this clash. After the draws of the quarterfinals was released, the both coaches statement send a very vital view on their respective opinions of the game. It is just obvious that everyone of them are scared of each other and every one of them are looking to win the game and qualify for the next round. Both team are still strong in their respective competitions and that can’t be overlooked as far as this match is concerned. The better team will definitely win, but with the performance exhibited by both teams, it is hard to single handy chose one team over the other in this match.


Arsenal of this season is different from the Arsenal we saw participating in the champions league some years back which since then they’re just returning back to the UCL competition. Arsenal have come this far in the champions league competition and this is another good sign of a strong team to come this far in their first trials in the champions league competition. Arsenal would give Bayern Munich a tough time, but winning them is not what is certain yet until when played.
For the Barcelona and PSG match, I would love to see PSG go as far as the finals too but with the many signs now, I doubt so. Hopefully if they can get there, they should try and win the Champions League trophy this time around. It has been a long time chasing after it now.

In fact, the same can be said for the Manchester City vs Real Madrid match. Both teams are on top of their game, both teams don't seem to have any problems and in general it's a match of the final level, but again we won't be watching it in the final. Predicting such a match is also difficult too, but by feeling Manchester City is stronger. Real almost went out last round, that's the only thing that scares me.

Carlo Ancelotti and Pep Guardiola meets again in the UEFA Champions League, who's exiting with his team and who's making bold step to enter the semifinals? Perhaps there's still time to exhibits our predictions on the team's. Real Madrid vs Manchester City in the UCL quarter-finals. This is probably one of the tough fixtures in the UEFA Champions League this season. Both team are elite sides and they're not going to relent and watch other sides easily grabbed winning points. Real Madrid have advantage in the first leg, they're the hosts and welcoming the Citizens at Santiago Bernabéu in the first leg.

I'm just short of words because describing this game is definitely on another level. Real Madrid will not underestimate Manchester City, definitely not this time because City thrashed Real Madrid 4 nil in their last meetings, meaning huge dissapointement for Los Blancos and they seeks for revenge this time around. Real Madrid leads with upper hand this season because they have set in place quality performance and leading first on the table.

The unexpected meeting between Real Madrid and Manchester City in the quarter-finals adds an element of intrigue and excitement to the competition. The outcome of this matchup will reduce the pool of title contenders, because this matchup lies in the fact that one of the tournament favorites will be eliminated at an earlier stage than anticipated. this intensifies the competition and raises the stakes for both teams. Both teams have arguably the best and strongest squads that makes their clash in the quarter-finals a highly anticipated event.

The fact that the two teams are the UCL Champions in last two seasons makes it difficult to predict which team will emerge victorious and progress to the semifinals. Both teams have demonstrated their ability to overcome formidable opponents and deliver under pressure. Mentality will become a significant factor to determine how the game will go and the result will be. Their clash will captivate fans worldwide and showcase the highest level of competition on the continental stage.

Bayern struggle is over in the Bundesliga, because Leverkusen is still very consistent. Now Tuchel fleet will focus on the Champions League, trying as hard as they can to win the trophy even though their chances are very low. Who knows, they might be lucky by showing a different appearance, and it must be admitted that they have the bargaining power to be able to create a surprise.

Tuchel has experience in the Champions League, he has already won it with Chelsea. With the depth of the squad they have, there is a possibility they can advance to the final, and get out of their bad period completely. But we'll see if Bayern can beat Arsenal, or they will be knocked out by Arteta team later.

Bayern experienced a series of bad results in three competitions, causing their status to change drastically, where previously many put them on a par with Man City and Madrid. On the other hand, I think all teams will definitely be faced with situations of ups and downs in performance, this season Bayern experienced this, and they are still lucky not to have fallen far in the Bundesliga.

Hopefully this can happen so that Real Madrid can get a little smoother in getting to the Champions League final this season, but Real Madrid must also be aware that Manchester City is still quite strong this season. So Real Madrid must be able to use all their abilities in the quarter-final match in order to get rid of the defending champions, because on the one hand Manchester City also know that Real Madrid will probably respond to them in the quarter-final match in order to advance to the final.

I'm a Real Madrid fan and that's why I'm happy to see that we were drawn against Manchester City in the semi finals of the UEFA Champions League competition and I'll state my reason. Last two seasons, Real Madrid eliminated Manchester City in the semi finals of the competition and it was done in the most exciting fashion as Real Madrid came from two goals down at the Santiago Bernabeu to complete a comeback that saw them reach the final ahead of Pep Guardiola's Manchester City. Then last season, Manchester City revenged that elimination of last two seasons to oust Real Madrid from the competition and they embarrassed Real Madrid in the second leg of that game. The result of that game actually left a deep pain in me and many other Real Madrid fans across the globe. I think this is the right time to pay them back with their coins because right now, Real Madrid is a way better than they were last season. During the summer transfer window, Real Madrid management signed few important and quality footballers to the team and their presence have significantly improved the team so I believe that they can match Manchester City in any way and I believe they will eliminate Manchester City this time

Before the Quarter Final was draw, Manchester City and Real Madrid were supposed to met but after the draw, nothing change between these two team which made me to believe that Real Madrid and Manchester City are the two most brave team in this league, there is no it will be palatable for the two to be opposite but they used Barcelona and PSG to calm the situation but I have more confidence in Manchester City to eliminate Real Madrid but they wouldn't be the team to win the Champions League.



I don't think Manchester City are the only club out of this, even Real Madrid has a complete squad, the PSG has a complete men, Barcelona has a most completed team and so is Arsenal but if you say that Manchester City has the most well structured team that can finish any team then I will say they have it and they have what it takes to finished the Champions League, that's the difference between them and the rest of the teams.

However, if they play in the final then it feels like normal moment because yes, it is normal moment for example if Real Madrid and Manchester City meet in the final. But yes, right now, what is really interesting is because they playing in the quarterfinals and of course, their meeting in the quarterfinals was very unexpected but they had to do it anyway. So, there will be one less title candidate team at this season because yes, Real Madrid or Manchester City this season can only reach the quarter-finals, of course Real Madrid and Manchester City will do their best effort because they both have the above qualities average, making it difficult to predict which of them will advance to the semifinals.

I agree, they are no longer as bad, but they had a bad "period". For a while there, they lost too many games in a row, and that resulted with them being bad at league. It was the period where they lost to lazio, lost to leverkusen, tied with freiburg and all, lost to Bochum as well. When you combine all of this in the same span then suddenly it looks like it's a bad period and that becomes the problem in the end. I feel like there should be something that they should care about.

I believe that we should not really consider what we are doing right now in this sense, we should consider that Bayern already did what they shouldn't and after this then it doesn't matter if they win 8-1 all their league games, nothing will change.

Both teams I think have a fairly balanced performance so far so it is very difficult for us to guess who will win the game later, but in terms of experience of course Madrid can be more favourites to win the game later, I personally will not underestimate Manchester City even though they have just suffered a defeat in the domestic league,  Likewise, Madrid may not have played well against Leipzig in the round of 16 and of course they have now risen and will most likely prepare the team to be better before the first leg of the Champions League begins.

Both teams have now entered the quarterfinals and certainly both teams will not repeat the mistakes that may have occurred in the previous match so that they will fail to reach the next round later, the match between Manchester City and Madrid is like a final and certainly both teams will focus their attention on the match so we can be sure both will play all out and minimize mistakes that might be Causing defeat for them later, I am quite sure the match between Manchester City and Madrid will give us an exciting spectacle as happened in the Champions League semi-finals in 2022/23.

All people wants to see Real Madrid and Man City in the final, they don't want to see these teams fight one another too early. Unfortunately, Man City vs Real Madrid can't be avoided, it is the result of the drawing for the next round. The fans of each team must expect their favorite team to go to the next round, I favor Real Madrid to qualify for the semi-final. 

It is a prediction of most people. Man City is still the most favorite team to win the trophy because they still have a very strong squad. However, there is something change with this team, they don't have a strong midfield anymore. Man City only has a strong attacking line, they have a weakness in the midfield and defense line.

Real Madrid also can beat Man City. Although there is no great striker, Real Madrid has Vinicius, Rodrygo, and Bellingham who can play very productive during this season. These players already scored many goals for Real Madrid. Brahim Diaz is also in a good form now, this player can be an alternative player on the attacking line as well. Meanwhile for the midfield line, Real Madrid has many options. Real Madrid only has limited options on the defense line. But it seems Militao, Alaba, and Courtois will return soon. So Ancelotti won't have a problem with the squad anymore. With this condition, I'm sure Real Madrid isn't impossible to beat Man City. Ancelotti won't repeat his mistake again.

It is clear that Vinicius isn't the only player that Man City defenders must anticipate. Those players I stated above, are also capable to make a difference in the match.

Manchester City and Real Madrid are two top teams who have almost the same strength, so if someone favors one of them, it cannot be separated from the different point of view seen, but overall the percentage of the two teams to get to the semifinals this season is still quite the same.
In the Champions League, not only will teams compete in strength but teams will also compete in mentality and Manchester City and Real Madrid are the two best European teams at the moment who definitely have both of these.

It doesn't seem fair if we only look at what happened in one match, we have to look at the strength of the team as a whole and in my opinion even the Champions League also influences what happened with the team in the past so that will be a reference material for what's happening right now.
It's realistic to see that the strengths of Real Madrid and Manchester City are quite equal now, so both have the same opportunity to beat each other.

Yes, you could say that the premature final of this season's Champions League is between Real Madrid vs Manchester City, they should meet in the top match, but the lottery results different , they will meet in the quarter-finals.
Both teams have coaches who are rich in strategies in putting together teams and both teams are in good condition so the meeting between the two teams will be very interesting.
Real Madrid, with the most Champions League titles, certainly doesn't want to fail a second time when it was defeated by Manchester City in the quarter-finals. Real Madrid is full of experience in the Champions League, with great coaches and players. Real Madrid definitely doesn't want to fail again.
but Manchester City, with the defending champion title, definitely wants to defend it, coach Pep Guardiola wants to make history with the first English team to defend the Champions League title.

Yeah I agree with you that both teams have the same chance of winning the match indeed, in comparison, Manchester City has a better history throughout the Champions League matches however this does not close Real Madrid opportunity to win. Real Madrid is a team that is not easy to predict, they play normally against weaker teams but will be aggressive against strong teams so I'm sure the situation will be different against Manchester City.

We also have to remember when Manchester City played against Leipzig the match ended with a score of 3-2 this means that Manchester City also had difficulty beating Leipzig well, from these 2 matches we can conclude that Leipzig is not a weak team they have the ability to attack and score goals, what is clear is that the Man City vs Real Madrid match is the one we are waiting for and we are curious who will go to the next stage. In the first leg Real Madrid will play at home, well every team must be able to take advantage of this opportunity, I mean playing at home.

Walker was able to stop Vinicius last season from penetrating through his wing, but I must say that was last season, as Vini has improved better than last season, and he will not forget Walker. This will make him want to find all means of making sure that he can strike from any place, if Walker wants to stop him from displaying his talent. It will be a very difficult match for both clubs, and no one can tell what the outcome of this match will be. City needs to be careful because Real Madrid play pattern is fast and they can force them to play their game pattern, which would not be nice for City. This is why City needs not to dance to their tone but play the game to suit their own game pattern.

For me it is a game of chance, it is 50-50, either of them can win it and progress to the next round, but it all depends on the team that is capable of creating and also converting these chances, they are both playing well in their domestic leagues respectively so I don't think anyone of them is inferior to the other or superior, all I see is a very interesting yet fierce contest between two of Europe's finest elite clubs, perhaps the winner of this tie may turn out to be the winner of this year's edition. And I also want to emphasize that it won't be easier for Manchester city as it was for them last season when both clubs met in the semi final stage.
