These two teams met in the Champions League in 2017. Bayern Munich won both matches by a margin of 5-1. We saw a very poor performance from Arsenal.
But this season's scenario is completely different. The Arsenal team is in very good form at the moment. There is no doubt that Bayern Munich are strong. I don’t think the German physical style of football is superior to English style of play. Bayern Munich are not looking so good this season. But on the other hand, Bayern Munich have the history, they have the experience, the players, and a manager Thomas Tuchel who has won the champions league before. It’s not impossible that they might beat Arsenal in the quarter final.

Arsenal really has the opportunity to take advantage of Bayern Munich inconsistency this season to win, although this is not an easy job to do. arsenal is different from the past seasons at this time the squad is quite strong and evenly distributed. although it does not have a qualified central foward no 9. but I think arsenal for this season is able to trouble bayern munchen not just an enthusiast and lose easily and badly.

Yeah based on head to head Bayern Munich is more dominating the match and winning but we cannot focus on the history of the match because the team composition is different every season for example this season we know Arsenal one of the strongest teams in the Premier League while Bayern Munich does not seem as strong as the last season this means that Arsenal might be reliable this season at least while playing at home.

I think this is a decent draw for all teams because the team will face another team from another league, La liga has 3 teams in the Quarter Final this means they have a greater chance of winning the tournament I mean maybe one of them will go to the final. The strongest competitor is a team of the Premier League even predicted by bookie  as the main candidate for champions, we will see the results in April who knows there are surprises that we never thought.

I am with you on this,they refused to get it into their heads that Arsenal really want to have a revenge on Bayern Munich,and at this stage of the tournament,it's Bayern Arsenal were looking for to be drawn with them,and they got it.So i'm even seeing Arsenal have a little advantage in this game,and I can place a bet on the fact that Arsenal qualifies from this stage to the semi finals.I am very optimistic about Arsenal winning Bayern.
The gunners will win them at Emirates stadium,and draw them at their home,and that settles it.Bayern is not going to win Arsenal in either leg of this round.FC Porto was the most difficult opponent Arsenal had to face, because they were so solid defensively,but Arsenal still deviced a means of scoring them,and finished them on penalties.

Arsenal is no going to facing any disaster.The moment has already gone when you should have to making this kind of comment about Arsenal, it is not because the team is playing better this time around, because even their last match against FC Porto, which everyone was anticipating, Arsenal will find extremely difficult. You are even calling it a desaster I don’t think this match will be a disaster to my club Arsenal anymore because even though we don’t have enough experience in the European competitions, we have little experience about Bayern Munich because we have played several times.

I want you guys to know that this is a changed Arsenal with different mentality as you guys used to know; eliminating Bayern will not be easy but for Arsenal in hot form like this, I am seeing Arsenal eliminating Bayern Munich because of their inconstancy in the Bundesliga.

Statistically, I know that Bayern has always been a tough opponents for Arsenal, but this time it will not work because Arsenal will try their best to see themselves in the finals or semifinals of the Champions League this season.

The gunners are know to putting in that extra effort when they are playing from home because they cannot risk facing the embarrassment of loosing at home so they make sure they are getting a draw or they win their visitors but then in this case it's the champions league and then both teams aren't such that could be seen that either of them is weak but have got good abilities especially with their performance so far.

If Arsenal looses in this match it will be the end of the race for them in the champions league and it will be that it's over five times Arsenal had qualified for the champions league and has been unable to get to the finals , I'm just hoping arteta will be able to device a tactics to help them change the narrative they have had over a long period of time. Bayern Munich hasn't really been too good with champions league aswell, they have only in a few times gotten to the  finals too so both team are fairly equal going by the records so far.

Personally I wouldn't be supporting either of both teams in this game because they both have good team depth and even a good performance in the champions league so far but Arsenal has actually had to struggle especially passing the most recent stage so it's making me feel Barcelona could be the winner except for the home advantage Arsenal has got which they may want to use against Barcelona.
