Manchester City did not even use their main lineup to play Copenhagen. This allows the club to beat it with high scores as well. The quality of the squad informed us of the distinctions between City and Copenhagen. Copenhagen's primary squad was no match for Manchester City's secondary squad.

Leipzig were really good yesterday, they moved faster and they had a lot of desire to win this match. A draw was enough for Real, so they did not force things and achieved the result they needed. I think there is nothing wrong with Madrid performance this season, because so far they have been very consistent in achieving positive results in the league and Champions League, if you think Madrid decline in performance just because they were not able to win by a big score against Leipzig yesterday of course it is wrong, what we see now is how they win not the number of goals that are the benchmark,  Playing in the Champions League will be very different to the atmosphere of the domestic league and you know that, every team that plays in the Champions League both small and big teams will definitely give their all in the Champions League regardless if they are in bad form in the league.


Successfully qualifying Madrid to the last 8 of the Champions League adds to Ancelotti chances of being able to juxtapose two trophies at the end of the season, besides that I think we cannot underestimate Madrid this season to be able to win the Champions League again even when all the big teams will gather in the round of 8, Madrid long journey in the Champions League so far has shown their capacity as one of the best teams in the world today, and I'm pretty sure if Madrid can reach the final maybe with Manchester City, PSG or maybe Intermilan later.

In the other match of the day, Real Madrid was not defeated as I expected. I expected Leipzig to score goals in this match and they did. They still fought with all their might compared to their opponents, but the difference is obvious.

For Manchester City and Copenhagen, I think it is not something we can be surprised by if Manchester City win because we know that Manchester City is stronger than them. 

It was a disappointing result for Real Madrid because they couldn't beat Leipzig at Santiago Bernabeu. If it were the UEFA Champions League finals, this is how Real Madrid could have played with Leipzig. Real Madrid is just lucky to qualify for the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal after their match with Leipzig ended in a draw. 

Manchester City is very overrated here, I feel like the odds is too low when the risk really high, there are so many factors Manchester City might even flop and not able to enter into final. While the other teams are worth to bet, but I'd choose either Real Madrid or Inter Milan, while Bayern Munich and Arsenal seems not convincing to become a champion.

Yeah they could able to score 2 goals, but they're unlucky. Real Madrid wasn't playing really well in this match.

Most likely this happened because Araenal had a good performance in domestic competitions in terms of statistics although I agree with what you say where they are not better and maybe even it is comparable when aligning Inter with Arsenal but in terms of other things such as competition and possession statistics maybe Arsenal are better although if you reflect on productivity to date Inter are far superior.

This situation is likely to be temporary because during the group stage, round of 16 and now towards the quarter finals it looks like their chances will continue to differ and now we just have to see what will happen later because after all we must be aware that anything can still happen especially some clubs like Arsenal and Inter now certainly still cannot be released from tension because they still have to face leg 2 in contrast to some other big seeded clubs who have already confirmed themselves to be in the quarter finals.

I even had other different thoughts. Namely, I prefer to place Inter Milan over Bayern in third place in the table. Last season Inter Milan proved their quality. And this season is no different. Even in Serie A, Inter Milan is almost certain to become champion there. This shows how consistent this team is in the domestic league and also in big competitions. But if you look at the depth of the squad then I also agree with the order in the list. Because after all Man City, Real Madrid and Bayern are the 3 big clubs in Europe at the moment.
And I also agree that Inter Milan can actually be said to be better than Arsenal. But this is the Champions League and many surprises in this big competition can happen even to teams that are considered weak and can go further if they are lucky.
