Wasn't it the same Bayern that so many persons were complaining that they were not ready for the Champions League before of their inconsistent performances in the Bundesliga. Now they dealt with their opponents last night with a stunning performance. I had known that the Bundesliga and Champions league are not the same. There is this striking feeling when playing in the UCL that boost the urge to play so well especially for teams that had won the UCL so well in the previous years. Club like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern to mention a few.

And again, Kane was unstoppable last night. Truly, he is someone Bayern can rely on to push the team any time any day. We all say how he humbled Lazio. People believes he is the Saviour that Bayern needs right now and he is exacting absolute efforts to bring the glory of the team like he did in Tottenham. Bayern would be back again and when they will, they will be more stronger.

Probably easy matches to bet soon. Let's go to the point that if the first thing that will become the main attention if these two matches will happen away. So yeah madrid and manchester city will be totally in advantages over their opponents. it's hard to tell how big chances owned by their opponents. It seemed to me madrid and city will win the game.
Copenhagen and Leipzig probably need a miracle to pass those two big clubs. They are all leading the game but the only thing that im sure if manchester city and real madrid were always destroying their opponents at home. Let's say that bet on total over 2.5 is good enough for manchester city vs coopenhagen.

Real Madrid's match gonna be quite hard to predict since Madrid has an advantage with one goal aggregate against Leipzig. This is gonna be a hard time for leipzig and im sure that many people will be totally betting on those big clubs.
They are winning on aggregates and play the consecutive games at home, boosting the club's performance. These matches don't need a lot of effort to know which clubs that will be winning the game soon.

Im all in madrid and manchester city. They are all placing at the top of standings in the top leagues. Manchester city's odds is very small and that's why we shall look at an alternative like bet on total over. I can bet only without watching the match since this will not be interesting matches to watch.
Copenhagen and leipzig will be humiliated by their opponents.

I wonder how Real Sociedad were able to make it to the champions league with this their poor performance. PSG are not a really strong club but honestly the hosts were no match for the Ligue 1 giants. In every area they were poor; defense, attack and even midfield. It sucked to watch the game and I bet as they have been ousted, we can see better competition.
 At some point I was thinking they were going to pose a threat to PSG with how they were pressing them but nothing. Another annoying thing with PSG is that they hardly keep clean sheets. No matter how good they were in the game, they still conceded and I feel it's a problem they will be experiencing for a very long time.

Well, the match went as it should. as most of us predicted, these two top teams will win the match. and yeah, both Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain beat their opposing teams in last night's match. in this match, Kane played well again with many opportunities at his disposal.  he had 2 shots on target, 1 shot off target, 1 big chance, and he scored 2 goals against Lazio. Likewise with the other players, it seems that Muller is starting to adapt to the pure striker, namely Kane, yeah as the player behind the pure striker. he also contributed 1 goal, and played with a very good performance. overall, Bayern Munich played very well and Thomas Tuchel could smile a little at his team's victory.
On the other hand, Lazio did not provide much fierce resistance. in fact, almost all of their performance appeared to be underperforming.

As for Paris Saint-Germain, this match was as I predicted if PSG would beat Sociedad even though it was an away game. It's just that my prediction was wrong, saying that there wouldn't be many goals in this match. luckily I also said, handicap option with asian odds 0:0 @1.98 for PSG. referring to the course of the match, PSS continues to dominate the course of the match. but I didn't expect Luie Enrique to change his pattern to 4-3-1-2, pairing Mbappe and Barcola. unfortunately, Barcola played underperformed. however, the French star scored 2 goals for his squad.
well, referring to Mbappe and Harry Kane, both of them have scored 6 goals throughout this competition. meanwhile, Haaland is 1 goal behind the two PSG and Bayern Munich stars. but Haaland has the potential to match, maybe Haaland will even score lots of goals against Copenhagen. but in fact, there is a PSV player who has scored 8 goals in the competition, namely Luuk de Jong.

Bayern last night had to put Lazio in their place a performance tht under normal circumstance ought not to be a surprising thing to football fans but as a result of Bayern's low performance in the last games both in the UCL and the Bundesliga now their usual performance it's now coming as though it's a surprise. Congratulations to Tuchel as he has through this result secured his position as head coach and we hope to see Bayern exercise more competitive performance in future games in the UCL especially should they meet Manchester City or Madrid, and even in the  Bundesliga.

For the match between Manchester City vs FC Copenhagen I expect a similar result in favour of Manchester City since they are playing at home they have all of the advantage on their side, and secondly Copenhagen is not a their match by analytical comparison. Nevertheless this is football anything can happen but the chances are slim.

I wasn't expecting the second leg to end with no goals from Lazio, so congratulations to Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich gave their all for the whole game. Lazio has 0 and Bayern Munich has 7 short on target. When Bayern Munich is losing to weak opponents, I don't think they can even play at this level. This is the strategy Tuchel should use in their games; if it wasn't successful in the first half, he should change the formation in the second half. After all, this isn't the Bayern Munich of years past.

Real Sociedad against PSG. However, I wasn't expecting Sociedad to disappoint their supporters by losing at home even after losing the first leg. Mbappe gave an incredible performance last night, scoring the two goals to give PSG the victory.
Mbappe did not play the whole 90 minutes in their last three games before PSG faced on Real Sociedad due to an issue with the club, but he did played the entire minute in the Champions League because PSG needs to advance to the next round. I was expecting Luis Enrique to repeat the same thing, like they wanted to get used to playing in the Champions League without him. 

Leon Goretzka, Joshua Kimmich and lastly Jamal Musiala are player's I watched closely. Not that the others didn't well, they off course played to see themselves qualifying for the next round, they're players I singled out of the game you see, Jamal Musiala indeed should leave Bayern Munich,what a beautiful player with magical feets. For Joshua Kimmich, Spot on ball delivery in the box for both Thomas Muller and Harry Kane, he joined both the attackers and defender's whenever in need. Taking responsibilities are things I love to see. Maintaining and shielding the defense was something Leon Goretzka did quite well and it did work for him.

I've been one of Thomas Tuchels critics in the last few weeks, I couldn't say positive because his players fought for him to see that they didn't lose to Italian Seria A side Lazio. During the early stages of the second half, Bayern Munich had swift flows of the ball around and was able keep the game in them control. Manuel Neuer ball delivery also made me smile. Top quality as he finally got to equalize Ikker Casillas clean sheet record in the Champions League.

I never thought Thomas Muller's goal should have been accepted, the Var failed to review the goal because the match official already blew his whistle immediately the goal was scored. I felt like it should have been ruled offside. Just my opinions though!

The strong defense that Lazio had in the first leg was not visible at all in the second leg. Maybe this is because Lazio does not have high self-confidence in front of Bayern supporters. Meanwhile, Bayern really played as we expected. In that match, Bayern didn't even give Lazio many opportunities to attack. And it should have been like this since the first leg. But unfortunately in the first leg it felt like Bayern weren't playing with full confidence. But in the second leg Bayern played with full confidence so they could play very well according to the quality they have had so far.

Harry Kane is a great football player. So are Haaland and Mbappe. There is a race between the best for the UCL top scorer. Kane is the oldest among them, but we have seen the best performance from him so far. They have 6 goals together with Mbappe. As long as this race continues, there will be a struggle between the two, but the further the teams they play for progress, the easier it will be for them to claim the title of top scorer.

Bayern Munich answered all the challenges given by everyone and they managed to overthrow Lazio in the second leg and at the same time made them qualify for the quarterfinals. A 3-0 win at home put them 3-1 up on aggregate over Lazio and Harry Kane was the answer to all the doubts that existed before this match. Now Thomas Tuchel's fate is a little safer because this season, at least Bayern Munich will still be able to compete in the race for the Champions League title.

Even though it is difficult, this time they cannot be shackled any longer and strong opponents will soon be waiting for them in the next round. Lazio are known to be strong at home, but when they are in front of Bayern Munich fans they often concede easily because their defense is weak. In particular, I didn't expect the goal scored by Thomas Muller to take advantage of De Ligt's hard kick and it was immediately met by Thomas Muller's header. In fact, Lazio had a good chance to make a shock but Ciro Immobile wasted it and some minutes later Bayern Munich opened the match with a headshot from Harry Kane. It is a kind of lucky goal for Kane and Bayern Munich but they actually played better than Lazio even before that goal and the chance of Immobile.

Tuchel is indeed a good coach. He just has to be given time to build a club so that it gets better as time goes by. because Tuchel is not the type of coach who immediately makes quick changes to a club. But he always built the club slowly and surely. But unfortunately it wasn't just Chelsea who was in a hurry to fire Tuchel. Now Bayern is also reported to have made an agreement that their collaboration with Tuchel will end sooner, namely until the end of this season. I don't know if it's just a rumor or if it's real. But the news has spread quite widely.

Bayern managed to beat Lazio quite well. And revenge with 3 goals is the best revenge. With this, Bayern is now ready to face a stronger team in the quarter-finals.

What PSG achieved was actually better than last season, considering that when there were still Messi and Neymar, PSG did not qualify, now only Mbappe is the equalizer so they managed to qualify. This will also be a double-edged sword where after Mbappe leaves next season, PSG may have difficulty finding the right replacement. Bayern Munich's performance today was quite good and Kane contributed 2 goals to save Bayern from progressing to the next round. After all, if on the other hand Bayern Munich fails then it won't be the Bayern we know. Now the two teams can wait and see the results of the next match where Madrid and Manchester City will do just that. If according to predictions these two teams qualify, it's no surprise, hopefully RB Leipzig Copenhagen can provide resistance to each other against their respective opponents.

Today there are further two 2nd leg matches of knockout stage of UEFA Champions League. And both easily predictable.

Real Madrid vs RB Leipzig 1:0
Manchester City vs Copenhagen 3:1

Real Madrid already in a lead would play against RB Leipzig in Santiago Bernabeu. It's easy to predict that Real Madrid would comfortably make it to the next round. Red Bull team is good but not a match for Real Madrid.

Manchester City is too playing on Etihad Stadium against Copenhagen, Copenhagen is not a match to Manchester City anyway.

Bayern Munich dominated Lazio in their UEFA Champions League match yesterday at Allianz Arena to make sure that Lazio had no chance of becoming a threat to them. With this 3-0 win against Lazio, Bayern Munich has qualified for the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League. 

Bayern Munich should improve their performance if they want to proceed to the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League because they will meet a stronger club than Lazio in the UCL quarter-final.

At this point we can conclude that Lazio were lucky in the first leg but does not change that Bayern were not very good and have not been very convincing this season. They have made it to the next round of the competition, if they meet a tougher team, with more attacking threat like they have, they will be knocked out of the competition. The job of the coach will still not be saved even if they win the champions league this season, which the chances are very small from happening. Bayern Munich and PSG are through, we expect Manchester City and Real Madrid to follow today.

Good results were achieved by both teams in this second leg, Paris Saint Germain could convincingly win 2 matches at once which led them to qualify convincingly. Bayern Munich also successfully turned things around after they lost the first leg with a narrow score of 1-0 but in the second leg they could reply with 3-0 and make the aggregate 3-1 to their advantage.
Yes, overall there was nothing surprising, but some people were worried about Bayern Munich because they had to equalize first. But they did a great job in this match and ensured they will be in the quarterfinals of the Champions League this season. The challenge will get tougher as the rounds begin to narrow down.

There is information that before this match, Tuchel made many moves and words to appease Harry Kane, saying that "Kane is a player who does not talk much, but works focused and always creates a great influence. It's fun when having Kane in the squad and being his coach is a gift. Bayern can count on Kane in the next match." I think those words had a positive impact on Kane, and he was the hero who helped Bayern overcome Lazio in this match.
It must be added that changing tactics in some positions helped Bayern play better in the previous match, such as letting rookie Eric Dier replace Kim Min-Jae, Serge Gnabry giving up the starting spot to Leroy Sane and Leroy Sane. Pavlovic plays in Kimmich's position.

However, I would like to know why Bayern Munich isn't able to repeat this kind of performance in the Bundesliga?

Regarding PSG And Real Sociedad, well, it's well known that PSG will win; in the first leg of the match, PSG defeated Real Sociedad 2-O. I also knew PSG would win because Real Sociedad was playing on PSG's pitch; Real Sociedad's performance wasn't as strong as PSG's, even though PSG's lead was small. To be honest, Mbappe is a really good player, and without him, I'm not sure where PSG will be in this champion league.

Bayern Munich played very well in the match and we expected such to happen as Bayern is a big club that is known to deal with opponents like 4 to nail, 6 to nail or something similar so securing 3 to nail victory should be something casual and they should put more effort and creativity cause it's getting tough in the league.

Tuchel is a good coach, I was even disappointed seeing him go out of Chelsea if only he was giving enough time, Chelsea would not have been at this lowest of where they are.
