The clubs sat down with purchases, either due to the tightening of ffp or something else, the market may have somehow begun to be regulated due to massive overpayments on transfers and salaries of players, but Arsenal will not be forgiven, apparently they are not risking better than a 2-3 place than a possible championship and withdrawal points, although even with this composition anything can happen.
They don't have a great striker, I'm sure they're still looking to sign a new striker, but it might be either swaps or they need to sell other player first. Arsenal have so many players, it's more than enough to cover their starting eleven.

I think Trossard, Nketiah and Nelson will be sold in the near future considering they're not really that young and didn't contribute a lot.
If you look closely at them, it looks like Arsenal is playing a strategy without a striker, like Mamnchester City did before they brought in Erling Hsaland. Of course it's a risk for them, but so far they've been pretty good at it.
Arsenal has not fully matured with the team formed by Arteta in recent years, but if Arteta is kept longer I am sure he will find his glory days, because I see the process he is carrying out is also progressing very well so far.
They just haven't been able to be consistent throughout the season, and the depth of their squad is not completely evenly distributed, so when they have to be left behind by one of their mainstay players they seem to have dificulty finding plyers who can fill the void left behind. I see their future in Arteta's hands looking good.

Last season Gabriel Jesus was able to score 11 goals in 26 matches but only played in the Premier League, but this season Gabriel Jesus has scored 8 goals in 22 matches in all competitions and has contributed 8 assists. In my opinion, Gabriel Jesus' performance is still the same, just less productive in Domestic league because of the tight schedule he plays, maybe if he only plays in the Premier League Gabriel Jesus' performance will still be the same, Arteta really needs to improve Gabiriel's performance so he is more productive in the domestic league so he can increase Arsenal's attack in competing in the main competition and also the Champions League because of the season Arsenal have a tough task to be successful in these 2 big competitions.

Even though Arsenal doesn't have financial problems, it turns out Arsenal didn't buy the players they needed in the second half of this season, even though I hope Arsenal can recruit Mbappe to improve their attack in all competitions because Mbappe is very aggressive in doing what the club needs in terms of attack.

I don't think if Arsenal even needs to spend money to buy more players because they are currently in a situation in which they have many superstars and good players in this team and the current squad of Arsenal is not bad at all.
In the premier league, they are having a hard race with Liverpool and Manchester City and in the Champions League, they should play against Porto and I think Arsenal has good enough power to beat Proto and be in the next stage of the Champions League.

Arsenal is doing well, and I don't think Arteta will be hesitant to buy any players right now because the old players are performing well and they don't need to spend any money on new players. I am confident that Porto will not be a problem for Arsenal in the Champions League until they make a mistake during the match since Arsenal likes to misbehave in some games, and some club that you did not expect to defeat Arsenal will do. I believe Arsenal will make it to the quarterfinals because they are back in form, and if they keep it up, they will have a chance to win the trophy.

This Champions League will see many competitors in the matches because no one wants to misbehave and be knocked out of the Champions League, but I believe Barcelona will not be able to compete for much longer because they are struggling in the league to finish in the top four, and I believe Napoli is not in good form either, but they are better than Barcelona, which is why Xavi decided to leave at the end of the season.

Haaland is back by the way for the ones who hasn't been able to keep up. He entered the Burnley game in the Premier League late last night. We would see him being in the starting lineup soon I assume. Now Manchester City have all of their deadly players on the pitch.  Smiley  This must be really scary for Copenhagen already now.

Rather than this matchup I'm curious about whether Manchester City will manage to get a back-to-back title. It isn't an easy job despite being one of the strongest teams on paper. Technically they are the biggest favourite as well.  Grin  I see Real Madrid as the biggest threat for now.
Yes Erling Haaland is back, which is good news for Manchester City. Apart from Erling Haaland, Kelvin de Bruyne has also been able to return to the Manchester City line-up. Although I have not seen the best game after recovering from injury, but I am sure with the passage of time the Manchester City players who previously suffered injuries will be able to return to their best performances.
A warning for teams in the Champions League, because the defending champions can play at full strength now. With the full strength of Manchester City, it will make them more confident in looking at match after match they will play in the Champions League.

I see that with the return of Haaland and De Bruyne who is fit again, creating a new dimension for Manchester City, this team will really be a threat in the Champions League. Even though they haven't been able to show their best performance after recovering from injury, as time goes by, I'm sure they can show their best ability again.
and as the defending champion of the Champions League, of course they will try their best to defend the Champions League title and try to compete with Real Madrid, which was able to achieve consecutive wins from 2016 to 2018. Even though it seems impossible, Manchester City has shown extraordinary performance. has the potential to achieve even more brilliant achievements in the Champions League, provided that Coach Pep Guardiola still remains at Manchester City

Haaland is fit to play for Manchester City and last night's match in the domestic league was like a warm-up for a player after recovering from injury. His sharpness will not dull as a striker and with the addition of Kevin De Bruyne, we will see this duo shine again in the Champions League. Copenhagen clearly has no expectations other than a strong defense in the next two legs and whatever the result they will definitely accept it.

It is quite difficult to predict whether Manchester City can win this title in a row or not because other strong teams have made comprehensive improvements to their squad. Maybe we can see it later when Manchester City can get through the semifinals and it also depends on who their opponent is, but if in the end in the semifinals they meet Real Madrid again, it will be like bad luck that they are ready to face. Likewise, Real Madrid will also feel bad if they have to meet Manchester City in the semifinals. So it is more appropriate for these two teams to meet in the final.

Yeah I agree with you that Arsenal doesn't need more players right now because they currently have all it takes to get to any level of performance they want because there squad is very much okay on less they want to waste money for more players because right now Arsenal challenge is not because of inexperienced players but instead I believe it should be more of determination and consistency, however we are all aware of what has been happening to Arsenal since last season that from the beginning they would play very well but before the season will go far they will start losing form, so I don't think solving the problem is by getting new players but instead the coach should be able identify the cause and work on it.

I thought that if arsenal really need a good striker but since winter transfer season has already closed and then there was no transfer is happening for arsenal till now and i must say that if arsenal is only trying to use everything available in the club. The performance from nketiah and gabriel were not so good.
Arsenal needs someone like benzema but the club has no interest to make it happen. The coach is concerning about how poor the performance from the attackers. This is the reason arsenal being linked to the benzema but the club has refused by making no movement to get him from al ittihad.
I was hoping benzema to join in arsenal but my wish was not coming true caused by the transfer season has already closed. My expectation is too big for this club or kroenke has not allowed the club to sign the new player to join in the club.
It's only arteta who knows the real condition in the club. I remember arsenal has tried to open talks with benzema's agent.
Everyone including myself was very hopeful about the rumors of Benzema coming to Arsenal, but right now what remains to be seen is that Arsenal still maintain their stand in signing only younger players that would commit long term to the success of the club and I respect that.
The players in the person of Saka, Nketiah, Gabriel still have a lot of improvement to make and although I know that fatigue and the stress of playing in more than one competition is telling on their performance right now, still, am hopeful and can see them doing better before the season ends.

Copenhagen may not be a difficult opponent for Manchester City, but Copenhagen could make it difficult for Manchester City to win in the first leg, Copenhagen always has a surprise for that, why can they qualify as runners up in Group A, I don't doubt Manchester City's ability but they You have to be careful with Copenhagen, who always play full of surprises, they could make things difficult, so Guardiola must be able to field all his key players to be able to win in the first leg.

At least for the meeting in the first leg, Manchester City was able to score more than 3 goals to keep their position safe, but talking about the UCL title race this season is not an easy matter because Munich and Madrid are quite taken into account in this competition, even though it may be as we think. I know that Manchester City remains the strongest club at the moment, especially since KDB's return has made it possible for Haaland to get assists that can make him a goal machine. I think Manchester City will reach the final and hopefully they won't meet Madrid except in the UCL final.   Grin

The recent developments and decline in Barcelona performance, might have become a heavy duty on the shoulders of Xavi Hernandez but he will always managed to scale through the hard times. UEFA Champions League is for the big teams that are ready to take the lead of becoming UCL Champs. Napoli not in good shape this season, they suffered enough and this is becoming one of the top challenges for the club. Napoli meeting Barcelona in the UEFA round of 16, a tough game to decide the team that will cross to the next phase.

In the coming weeks, Barcelona will play Napoli in the round of 16 of the Champions League. Given both teams' poor performances this season, this match will be very difficult to predict. The round of 16 is not for weak teams like Barcelona. Champions league is for the strong club like Real Madrid and Manchester city. With Barcelona poor performance, any weak teams are not afraid to play against them this season. Napoli have struggled to win their matches in Seria A, while Barcelona struggles to win their La Liga matches. My belief is that one of the team will win the match; however, Barcelona will finish the season with this poor performance since they were unable to sign more players due to financial issues.

Borussia Dortmund's performance this season in the Bundesliga league is not that good, but Borussia Dortmund has managed to be in the 4th position in the Bundesliga league table. Even though Borussia Dortmund is not in very good form this season, I believe they will win against PSV to reach the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League.

Dortmund's play has started to show signs of improvement in their previous three Bundesliga games. However, I don't see any difficulties for them against PSV in the round of 16. Despite their strong performance this season, PSV seems to starting losing their strength. I'm confident that Dortmund will win in this game.
Yes, Borussia Dortmund has improved their performance in the Bundesliga league recently, and they are in a 3-match winning run in the Bundesliga league. With this kind of form, Borussia Dortmund will win against PSV in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League because Borussia Dortmund has more experience in the UEFA Champions League than PSV.

Historically, many can be called strong, for example, Crvena Zvezda or Steaua - both of these clubs won the Champions League, but in today's realities they cannot be favorites even in the Conference League. Likewise, Porto are clear underdogs in games against Arsenal. Here are the odds for the first game:

4.31 - 3.58 - 1.78

Even away, Arsenal are favorites. Taking into account the fact that this is the most convenient scheme for a two-game confrontation (first an away game then at home), I don’t think that there can be any surprises here. Even if Porto somehow manages to win in the first game, Arsenal will solve all the issues in the return game.
Well the old time football is quite different from now and the issues most teams are having is that they weren’t able to adapt to the changes. We have teams who were considered big teams in the old time football and even won the Champions League but they’re nothing to write home about in recent football.

Most of these teams aren’t even a force in their league talk more of being a force in Europe and Porto is one of them. In a match between Porto and Arsenal in old time football, one wouldn’t see Porto as an underdog to Arsenal but today we’ve got Porto as underdogs in this match. And yes, I believe Arsenal will be able to get past Porto to the last 8 of this competition. Porto stands no chance against Arsenal, they can manage to get a draw at home and forget even getting a point at the Emirate and that’s how football has evolved.

Manchester City has solid composition between their main and reserve players, in phase group matches Pep Guardiola losses many main players but its not problem for him how the same level with reserve players and The Citizen easily manage group standings position. I think has opportunity for Manchester City for defending their UEFA Champion League tittle in this season but depend on drawing match schedule on quarter final until semifinal round.

I doubt with Bayern Munich performance in Champion League this season, seems less opportunity for winning Champion League actually after looking their inconsistency performance in Bundesliga. Has easy opponent team in 16 round against Lazio but doubt chance for Bayern when facing Man City or Real Madrid in quarter final or semifinal round.

It will be a problem if erling haland is injured. because when haland is injured manchester city's creativity and productivity in scoring goals is greatly reduced. if the opponent is a weak team it will not be a problem. if the opponent is a strong team like real madrid or bayern munchen difficulty scoring goals will be very dangerous because the opponent will be able to frontal attack if manchester city's attack power is weakened if haland is not played.

Haland was injured but there was also an update regarding his injury if he will be back again soon. I meant that if haaland was not suffering serious injury and he will be playing again for manchester city soon. Im not even doubting if he will able to recover as soon as possible caused by he was a robot.
Haaland just a goal machine owned by manchester city and he was also a key owned by manchester city to perform better. Manchester city needs a good attacker like him to strengthen the club. We have de bruyne and doku which were coming back from their injured last month.

We will have haaland and stones will be also available to play this month. It's very amazing to see that manchester city is slowly but surely moving back up again after it was struggling caused by some key players were injured.
Im not deoubting the competence of city to win UCL this season as long as de bruyne and haaland will be there. Pep guardiola is also feeling so happy caused by he has only a defensive line as his main concern.

The defensive line of manchester city is quite weak compared to the last season. Walker is not performing as good as last season and im sure that pep concerns this about how to boost the performance from the defenders. We will be seeing city to play in UCL with full squad against copenhagen.
Haaland may able to play in the upcoming weeks. It's a disaster for copenhagen to face city with full squad.

Lol, this is such a bold prediction and so early too. Bayern Leverkusen have been wonderful this season, but you are not even certain if they will win the Bundesliga this season and you are already predicting that they will get to the CL final next season, this is not something i see happening. Remember last season when we all thought Dortmund would win the league, but Bayern Munich ended up winning it, that could happen again this season in the Bundesliga.
That’s right, it’s impossible to predict so far ahead, especially in football, if for example, Alonso is invited to another team, and the Bayer sells several of his best players, then next season we may see a completely different team that will not even be able to compete for a place in the Champions League, not to mention that they will be able to reach the Champions League final.

They have a great opportunity to win the EL this year, if they can do it, they will do it, but I’m not even sure if they can do it, since there also Liverpool and Milan, these are not the easiest teams, so even winning the EL would be a great success for them, in my opinion.

What do you think?

But it won't be easy and Porto is currently performing quite well in the domestic league, so the current assessment is just speculative. However, overall Arsenal are still above Porto and maybe we will see something different from this match later. Arsenal experienced a gloomy period some time ago and they proved that they are still capable of this competition by returning to winning ways in the domestic league. It's definitely an exciting match and I hope Arsenal don't underestimate Porto.

Mikel Arteta's squad has developed rapidly since last season.
Their financial resources have allowed them to buy the best players at the highest level.
Arsenal are more mature and solid now, but Arsenal have still conceded a silly goal. That has to stop.
Porto themselves are used to playing in this competition because they play in the Champions League every year and are known as a team that can often spring a surprise in the Champions League.
And yeah, this game will be very competitive, and all the fans will enjoy every moment.

Yeah Man, they had them very best season simce they last won the Premier League Competition exactly twenty years and they failed to graph the competition and tittle due to lack of depth.
They've brought some good names also in but I can't believe they failed to make addition during this January Transfer Window. They had some levels of difficulties with the central forward converting chances and the same to the midfielder's supporting Declan Rice who seem like the most important player for them.

They need to sign up a midfied to replace Thomas Partey who can support Declan Rice amd also they should make moves to sign Ivan Toney who can score 20 goals and more for them.
It'll be a great Champions League Competition and I'm sure as hell, Porto would not let em have a good game to play.

I agree that Arsenal squad this season is better than the last season. However, Arsenal strikers performed worse this season, Gabriel Jesus even only could score 4 goals from 17 matches in EPL. But he looks better in UCL, he scored 4 goals from 5 matches in UCL. I really expect Gabriel Jesus can maintain the good performance in UCL.
Statiscially arsenal is not good enough compared to the last season. Arsenal was able topping EPL till week 33 while this time it's struggling against manchester city and liverpoo. It was a setback compared to the last season when arsenal was always winning any game till the middle of season.
Jesus is not yet performing good at this moment and i think this is going to be another setback for arsenal. The club needs to perform even better. Manchester city and liverpool are going back to the its best performance again.
Arsenal may be trophy less again this season caused by it will unable to compete with manchester city and liverpool.

I don't know about Arsenal finance, but it looks good because they could sign an expensive player like Declan Rice. Arsenal midfield line have a great progress, it is stronger than the previous season. The current problem of Arsenal is the inconsistency of their attackers. If Arteta wants to play in the final of UCL, he must ensure that there is a good progress in Arsenal attacking. They must increase the productivity in scoring goals.
Kroenke has spent a lot of money in the summer transfer season and arteta was not willing to buy the new player till the next summer transfer season to come. Arsenal is financially fine under the new owner and arteta got a bunch of money to strengthen the club.
This time arteta was only focusing on how to make the club becomes even stronger than before. Im feeling quite happy by seeing arsenal is always entering into the top 3 but the club needs to strengthen its winning mentality.
Arteta needs also to strengthen the attacking line caused by sometimes it performs so poorly.

It's a serious concern about the striking department, particularly with Gabriel Jesus struggling to replicate his form from the previous season in the Premier League. While Jesus has demonstrated better performance in the UEFA Champions League, scoring four goals in five matches, consistency in the domestic league is crucial for Arsenal's success. The emphasis on increasing productivity in goal-scoring is valid, and Arteta will need to address the inconsistency among the attackers to ensure a strong push, especially if they aim to reach the final of the UCL.

Maintaining the positive trajectory of the midfield progress and finding a solution to the attacking inconsistency will be key factors for Arsenal's success in various competitions. The signing of Declan Rice suggests financial stability, but strategic decisions in player management and tactics will play a vital role in achieving the desired results.
