There are so many techniques and skills in this game.
What a leader. It's good to have Kevin back on the pitch. He is the life of Manchester City.
Kevin and Doku's return from injury brings luck to the Coach, pride to the team, and the Fans. I can't wait for Halaand to return.
There's nothing scarier than these three players playing together. Haaland, Doku and De Bruyne.
Returning injured players will enlighten and enchanced the club. Pep Guardiola will now settled down for the good scores to count because that's one of the tremendous techniques to implement in scoring points. Welcome back Kelvin De Bruyne to the team, the team missed his presence at Etihad stadium and its high time he recover his footings on the ball and become a tough competitor for the club and against his opponents and the only way he can do that is becoming extremely engaged in matches, not given up but ultimately going for the very best.

Paris Saint-German management would not like to allow Mbappe to leave Paris Saint-German for any other club this January transfer window, because Mbappe is an important player for Paris Saint-German and Paris Saint-German would find it hard to win matches if Mbappe leaves.
how can PSG management do that? Mbappe will be leaving from PSG caused by his contract will be running out. It means that if there will be no choice for PSG other than let him go out from the club. How can PSG control a player that will not under contract with the club? Are you joking?
Mbappe has been denied a new contract from PSG. It means he will be leaving from there as soon as possible. It's not possible for PSG to defend him to stay in the club while mbappe has no answer about the continuation of his career in PSG.
Meanwhile, real madrid has been linked so hard to him and this could be a strong reason to say that if mbappe may be leaving from PSG soon. Im not sure if mbappe will stay much longer inthe club caused by he needs to get a new challenge and he shall never stuck in the same place.
Mbappe will be leaving from PSG and believe me, his future will be on another team. Joining in real madrid will increase his chance to win the UCL and this is the fact. It's caused by madrid was king of UCL.
People never doubting the performance of real madrid in UCL caused by it was always playing consistently. That's why madrid has most of UCL trophies ever.

Kevin De Bruyne returned strongly by the FA Cup game Manchester City played recently. A very short time after he was subbed in by Guardiola he made a nice assist.  Smiley
The return of KDB is a massive boost to City's chance of defending all the trophies they won last season, now Pep has to be careful with how he introduces him back into the team, he definitely cannot last 90 minutes for now, so he would prolly be given between 35-40 minutes per game, until he returns to full fitness. The schedule in January is less busy, so it is enough time for City to refresh and welcome back more injured players like Stones and Haaland, with a fully fit squad in early February, City will be unstoppable and go on to win the title for the fourth time in a row.
I agree that Kevin De Bruyne's return is very valuable and cannot be exchanged for anything, so what they won last season could be repeated with the presence of Manchester City's midfield maestro. Maybe it's true that Pep Guardiola doesn't need to force Kevin De Bruyne to play the full game and what's more, he will be fit in February to defend Manchester City in the round of 16.

The most important thing is that Kevin De Bruyne must not be too tired and if he needs it, it is possible that Pep Guardiola can include him in domestic league matches this January so that his performance can also be maintained. I just realized that both players are injured and it is hoped that Haaland will recover quickly considering that Kevin De Bruyne has returned and that the chemistry between these two players will also reconnect.

This is De Bruyne. He is always ready to make difference for Manchester City unless he is injured. He is a smart player and makes a lot of contribution to his team thanks to that. Guardiola will hope for him not to get injured until the rest of the season as of now. Because they need him not only in the Premier League but also in the Champions League to go big for the championship. Together with Haaland they are like a machine.  Smiley

The quality of Manchester City have increased and its time to resume betting on the club because they're now consistent and doesn't fluctuate as before. Manchester City flogged Hundersfield 5-0 in the FA Cup. It was described as such an easy victory for the Citizens at Etihad stadium, everything running in path of their winning was smooth. Pep Guardiola is now relaxed because one of his key player have made return back to the squad after suffering a long term injury. Kelvin De Bruyne have measure crucial assist to Jeremy Doku who netted in style. I would gladly say, Manchester City have bounce back and they're extremely on different stats.
Kelvin De Bruyne's comeback is truly remarkable. He almost took no time to readjust after a five-month hiatus from the game. Bruyne's presence is crucial for Mancity's style of play, as he serves as the catalyst, providing opportunities for Haaland and Phil Foden up front.
I'm genuinely happy for Bruyne after all the ups and downs, and despite the rumors that Mancity might not renew his contract, he has come back strong, maintaining the same class as before. Pep always uses special words to talk about Bruyne, indicating how confident he is with his return, providing additional motivation for Mancity to excel in the remaining part of the season.
Real Madrid's manager Carlo Ancelotti have confirmed not sign any players yet in this transfer window and Kylian Mbappe is not in his transfer players name list, I think he has enough with current striker right now Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo and Joselu.
Not really bad with Real Madrid attacking line performance in this season because they have good performance between Champion League and La Liga.
But not close with opportunity for next season to sign Mbappe because he will be free agent but Real Madrid want to focus on Champion League and lead until final round than get difficult way for signing Mbappe.
The surprises are still ahead; the transfer window has just kicked off, and it last until the 1st of February to end. So, we have to wait more to know whether Mbappe will join Real or not.  Recent statements and actions from Anceloti and the Real leadership indicate their full commitment to this deal, even overlooking the supposed urgent need for a new center-back. Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo, and Joselu are still outstanding names in the attack, but that might not be enough for a galaxy of stars like Real. Mbappe's initial contribution to Real's gameplay might not be significant, but having him in the squad would be a massive motivation for them to reap more titles.

Yes, Kevin De Bruyne is back and has made his first debut this season well and immediately provided an assist, this is a very good start for Manchester City because the attacking midfielder has shown his skills in the FA Cup match. I think Pep Guardiola is feeling a breath of fresh air now because one of its mainstay players has returned and we are just waiting for the second key player, Erling Haaland, to returned to the club and their contribution will certainly be a goal-scoring machine for their club.

His intelligence in making passes is extraordinary. So far, no Manchester City midfielder is as intelligent as Kevin De Bruyne, therefore losing him is a heavy blow for Manchester City and Haaland also find it difficult to score goals without Kevin De Bruyne help, and hopefully Kevin De Bruyne will everything will be fine for the remainder of this season because Manchester City really needs the presence of these two players to winning the Premier League and Champions League titles again. Hopefully the injury will not recur because the club biggest main problem is the injury to its main players.

I think Dortmund have different mentality this season. They are good in Champions League, but scrumble in Bundesliga. They may still be carrying on the effect of last season failure. They look uninterest in the Bundesliga, but full motivated in Champions League. Dortmund have a better experience in the Champions League compared to PSV if we just count the latest Era, because PSV also have proper history in Champions league, But past experience alone doesn't guarantee success in a specific encounter.

PSV have a stable morale with doing excellent results in the Eredivisie and progressing to the round of 16. This aspect of them is better than Dortmund's, but the Champions League is a different competition with its own dynamics. No body had thought that Dortmund would do good at a tough group stage. I think Dortmund will show their best in Champions League to compesate their performance in Bundesliga.
The UEFA Champions League is the main target for Borrusia Dortmund, they're still game and wouldn't relent in any position they have found themselves, keep pushing until they're entitled to good points and rewards. Borrusia Dortmund have become one of the underrated team because they no longer focused on winning important titles, rather they are stiff to dormant positions. There's nothing exciting about Borussia Dortmund this season. I'm upset with the club's board because they've failed to recognize the potentials have build all these years. Edin Terzic have tried but he's incompetent due to the present conditionh3 found themselves.
There is a problem in Borussia Dortmund this year. They are far from the desired performance. They got out of the group in the UCL with the help of their luck, but their chances are now lower since the qualifying rounds. They renewed their coaching staff and hired a few new coaches. That's why I predict it will improve over time. The players also need to pull themselves together. After all, if there is a soulless player on the field, it will affect the team in general.

There has been no official news, but leaks say that Mbappe has already signed a contract with Real Madrid (the transfer will take place in the summer). Now there is no official announcement of this news, since apparently Mbappe wants to calmly finish the season for PSG and calmly leave without scandals and conflicts with the fans. Or maybe this news will be announced after Real and PSG either play each other in the Champions League or avoid this possibility (one of the clubs is eliminated).
So far there has been no official report from the club or the player's agent regarding his signing a contract with Real Madrid even though rumors that he will leave for Real Madrid are growing. If it is true that the agreement between PSG and Real Madrid has gone so far then next season will be quite interesting to see the strength that Real Madrid has and this will make Real Madrid's attack power even more dangerous.

If you look at some of the reports, I'm sure Mbappe will play for Real Madrid and maybe as you said, both parties are still waiting for the right time to announce it. Because if it is done now, fans will be quite disappointed, because PSG is still playing in the Champions League.

If you check Fabrizio's Facebook or Twitter page you will see that he has made a statement about Mbappe's current situation. He said that Mbappe's camp has not made any decisions on if he will move clubs or something. So I think it is pretty clear that he has not signed any deal or something.  If he had signed any deals with Real Madrid, we would have heard many rumors about it already since major transfers like these do not get done without leaks. Fabrizio assured me that no deal has taken place yet between them.

Besides Real Madrid has said that they won't be signing anyone new this season. Whether or not Mbappe will be coming next season is not confirmed though. There are still 6 months from then and anything can happen in 6 months.
Paris Saint-German management would not like to allow Mbappe to leave Paris Saint-German for any other club this January transfer window, because Mbappe is an important player for Paris Saint-German and Paris Saint-German would find it hard to win matches if Mbappe leaves.

Though Kylian Mbappe has made a very huge impact for Paris Saint German but that doesn't mean that he can't move to any other club of his choice. PSG management team may not really want him to leave the club now but if it's his personal decision to leave then there's nothing anyone can do about that though for me I want him to move to other clubs and showcase his skills and talent as well rather than being stucked in Paris Saint German.

He was making his first assist in his debut after he was absence for months due to the injury. This is the main reason people called him as king of assist and im not doubting his skill to create unbelievable assist. His assist for doku was so amazing and doku has been successfully making proper finishing to the club It's good to see that how de bruyne was proving again and again to be king of assist. I would like to see him play in UCL. The next opponent will be copenhagen and i strongly believe city will be winning with cleansheet against it.

It feels like that i saw that different manchester city once de bruyne was playing. City seems to be more structured than before and this is the advantage when de bruyne was playing for manchester city. Stones and haaland are the remaining players are still injured.
The comeback of de bruyne makes me think that if manchester city potentially to win the competition again soon. Comeback will be real soon. Im not doubting the capability of de bruyne to help the club to win EPL again.

I'm even more surprised that De Bruyne is so far in the top for the golden ball, his play is superb and very thoughtful, more than once he's been recognised as player of the match too. The most important thing is that he doesn't get injured in any match, so that he can be fit for the Champions League matches. He has some kind of curse on the finals, he has already been injured twice in the finals.
Manchester City in good prime, Guardiola will get him ready for the UEFA Champions League matches which is consider the most important team in the world of European football today. So happy Kelvin De Bruyne is back to actions, he's not giving up but you and running for upcoming Manchester City matches. Only his presence alone have put fears in the minds of their opponents. Kelvin De Bruyne will be on another firing level, no time to give excuses but deliver his best because the club's doesn't give out to accept defeats, they're all in for the winning results.

I know things might change, but I don't think there's any need to swim against the current if it's too hard to be true. Copenhagen must accept the fact that they have failed in the Champions League this season even though they still have 2 matches in the round of 16, that's because Manchester City is their opponent. The same thing about Lazio and Leipzig who are each playing against Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

They didn't fail but they can't progress anymore, they didn't fail because they have passed the group stage and playing the knockout stages. I didn't know the club before but as they played in the knockout stage, I know them now and so will many other people watching the champions league. Copenhagen can't beat Manchester city, Manchester city will be too strong for them. Manchester city will want to defend their title therefore they'll be seeing every team as an opponent to win with perfect record. Manchester city will sore many goals against Copenhagen. From the first leg of the round of 16, Copenhagen will already know they can't progress to the quarter finals. Manchester city always get easy teams at the round of 16 and it's because they always top their groups.

I don't see Borrussia Dortmund making the UCL league their main target, even in the domestic league. Because in my opinion, Borrusia Dortmund still looks less consistent in fighting for the title, they have only made a few changes to the team and are still stingy in buying players and even often sell them, which makes Borrusia Dortmund not as strong as last season and able to compete in the domestic league and UCL league. .

Indeed, in the UCL this season they performed extraordinary after being able to qualify from a group containing big teams, and maybe they could get past PSV in the round of 16, but they will never qualify for the semifinals this season. Terzic often experiments with formations, this is what makes me doubt the Borrussia Dortmund coach, he always underestimates matches with tactical experiments, especially with the incomplete condition of the team like now, such as the number 7 and number 9 players in Dortmund who are currently less productive.

Although Dortmund has better experience in the Champion League compared to PSV, but I think it still does not fully guarantee for Dortmund to be able to beat PSV . Indeed, Dortmund are in the hell group in the group stage but still, PSG and Milan also have a performance that is not completely stable at that moment. With this factor, then I cannot assume it is entirely possible about Dortmund being better than PSG and Milan.

After all, in this season the fact is that PSV also has very good results in the Eredivisie, because PSV managed to win all its matches in the first half of the season. Indeed, the results of matches in the domestic league cannot be fully used as a benchmark for their performance in the Champion League. But yes, at least with the good results PSV has in the domestic league is likely to make PSV's morale also remain good in the round of 16 against Dortmund later.

I think Dortmund will show their best in Champions League to compesate their performance in Bundesliga.

Regardless of Dortmund's performance in qualifying for the round of 16 in a difficult group, Dortmund doesn't seem very reliable, especially considering the results of their last 6 matches in all competitions. Dortmund has never won in its last 6 matches, including the Bundesliga, Champions League group stage matches and also the DFB Cup. Therefore, I am not sure that Dortmund will go higher in the Champions League this season even if PSV is also not very hopeful.

In the Champions League, PSV and Dortmund both have the opportunity to qualify for the quarter-finals. PSV plays at home first and then visits Dortmund, but Dortmund is a team that may have a higher probability than PSV. I'm not sure about one of them, but Dortmund have good experience in the Champions League.

PSV's performance in the group stage matches was quite good. They lost just one match. They played against teams like Lens and Sevilla in the group stage. Dortmund's performance was not bad either. But now their performance is more weak. We haven't seen good performances from Dortmund players in the last few matches. Dortmund have dropped points in their last four games in the Bundesliga and are currently fifth in the table. Their performance has deteriorated significantly. And they won't be able to win against PSV if such erratic performances continue.

You forgot to mention stones and he was also a great player owner by manchester city. It's just matter of time until the strongest team in the world last season was coming back again. De bruyne and doku have been showing very impressive stats against huddersfield.

It can be called as a signal if manchester city will be ready to beat any team like last season. Real madrid probably the only strongest opponent for city. I expect haaland and stones will be coming back soon. Glad to see that bruyne is back!!!!

People are hyping him a lot during the game in the FA cup. Copenhagen was not in the same level as manchester city when it has all of its keyplayers play for city. It must be noted that if manchester united was not even strong like the secondary squad of city.

I think that we shall not able to compere these clubs.
I agree, Manchester City is a team on a different level compared to Copenhagen in the last 16 of the Champions League. Squad depth and experience are two things that are benchmarks for analyzing who deserves to win the match and qualify for the next round. It seems very unreasonable if Manchester City is underestimated and not considered the favorite team against Copenhagen.

I know things might change, but I don't think there's any need to swim against the current if it's too hard to be true. In my opinion, Dortmund cannot compete if they continue to experience a decline in performance in the domestic league because that is also a reflection of what exists in different competitions and even though they escaped from the hellish group some time ago, that doesn't necessarily make them feel safe in the bigger rounds. So I hope they remain consistent in the Champions League by producing good results in the two legs.
Agree. Overall, Very weak. It's hard not to criticize individual players.
The players are not hungry enough to win the Bundesliga
Terzic's role is crucial for the team. Edin Terzic has to think quickly about the right tactics and starting XI when facing PSV.
Yes, Dortmund is more favored. But PSV has Peter Bosz, who knows Dortmund very well.
And the PSV players are quicker, more confident, and composed in front of the goal.
I believe that one by one, they are not really terrible, but when they are put together they become worse. It's the chemistry issue, the team doesn't really fit together, the players individually are not that terrible, the yare all decent players and I find them quite strong and talented for sure, but when you put players who do not fit each other that well, it does become a situation that doesn't really benefit everyone and the team is doing terrible because of that.

I think it should be a lot more important with time to get it working, and that needs to be something that has to be working better. I hope that people could end up with a lot more trouble and the reality is that we are going to end up with some issues with time.

Kevin De Bruyne returned strongly by the FA Cup game Manchester City played recently. A very short time after he was subbed in by Guardiola he made a nice assist.  Smiley

Smiley

The performance from Kevin De Bruyne makes me think that Man City is still good if they don't bring in a replacement for him. The way he played in that match was incredible. I understand that he was injured and he wanted to make a difference after coming back to the team. I have to say he has done a very good job at that.

Of course, the coach is also good to think about, and hope that he does not get injured anytime soon. Manchester City still needs the same and incredible performance from him to actually stay consistent. We all have seen what happened when he was not with Manchester City. The performance dropped a lot. I also like the fact that the coach did not give him a very short time. He had actually given him a good enough time to have an impact on the match even though he was a substitute. I believe he was the first substitution made by the coach of Manchester City.
