It actually wouldn't be wrong to say Dortmund was unlucky, because they were actually playing really well in the first half, and their performance had every form of brilliance in it such that they were having multiple chances and and could have won the first half , they had goals that even got to hit the bar and they weren't able to get it behind the net,s o it's very okay to say Dortmund wasn't having a lucky enough day and it affecte their performance.

The chances missed by Dortmund was actually such that I doubted if it were to be Madrid in a finals as this will miss because they are definitely going to make sure every opportunity is utilized to the maximum and not any is left to waste especially such close opportunities but then Dortmund deserves every commendations having been able to have gotten this far in the league this season , against all odds they got to the finals even when it felt like they were going to be knocked out by PSG because PSG had more experience than they do in champions league.

Drawing the first half with so many attempts from Dortmund and non form Madrid is even enough to be considered an achievement because if they were to be a weak team, Madrid would have won both halves because even in the first half I felt Madrid was using it to see how well Dortmund could performances so they can do better than Dortmund have done in the first half of that game.

I had a bet on Borussia winning the UCL as well as an earlier bet on a German team being the winner, so I didn't quite like the outcome.
Borussia fought well and proved they can compete at the same level as the Spanish giant, but they were out of luck in the first half. They had really good chances and if everything went right, they could have taken an early 2-0 lead, which would massively shift the odds in their favour, but unfortunately, that's not how it went down.
Anyhow, they still made it to the final, which is a success on its own. Everyone expected them to drop off at earlier stages, but they showed some perseverance and climbed up all the way to the final.

I didn't enjoy the game much though and I think it is one of the worst Champions Leagues I have watched.  The match between Man City and Real Madrid and that between Borussia Dortmund and PSG were more interesting than the final. I almost slept off in the first half because I was bored.

It was in the second half we saw some beautiful footballs worthy of a final. I had wanted Borussia Dortmund to win, to bring some variety in European football but seems Real Madrid is not ready to lose any final.

Seriously, we just have to accept that Real Madrid won the Champions League Cup. Because the match started, I knew Real Madrid would be winning the match, they are better than Dortmund. I was surprised with the way Dortmund played in the first half of the match, I never expected Dortmund to give them such a difficult moment in the match. Dortmund played well, but they couldn’t win. I really wanted Dortmund to win the match. I am tired of seeing Real Madrid win the Champions League. I wanted Dortmund to win, but after much effort from Dortmund, they couldn’t win. Let’s just wait and see how next season is going to be.

Yes Dortmund actually ruined their chances when they should have gone ahead, you shouldn’t be missing chances when you play a team like Real Madrid who need just half a chance to win a champions league Match. I wouldn’t blame the young Karim Adeyemi, because the game occasion was just too huge for him to handle, his decision making was definitely poor yesterday and that’s what separates an experienced player with a young one just coming through the ranks. Dortmund were superb in the first half yesterday and kept Madrid from having even a single shot on target in the first, that’s the first club to do that in the UCL final.

A little corrections Manchester city didn’t defeat Madrid in the finals last year but did that in the semi final. No club has down that against Madrid for over a decade now.


I am actually amazed that people think Madrid will open up and play fancy football against a very good counter attacking team like Dortmund. No Ancelotti is a very smart manager that sets up his team differently depending on the team he is playing against. He actually played the likes of Camavinga ahead of Touchameni to help hold the ball very well. Dortmund for some reasons did brilliant but allowed Vinicius to get into the game In the second half and they were punished with his runs

I would also love Madrid to not win again but maybe till they get a 20th one 

Well I don’t think this is the first time dortmund is getting to the UCL finals as they have had for themselves one UCL title and can also remember one final with Bayern Munich in 2013. Well the final yesterday was real crazy but you can’t expect nothing less than that result because of how excellent Real Madrid has been in finals. They have a very rich history of UCL finals and I can say they are now being confirmed as European Big boys.

 ⁠Dortmund have been excellent as they approached all knockout stages to this final and you can say that from the way they played yesterday, they played real great and I must commend them. Though Real Madrid still showed class and you can see that from the way they approached the game and even with full tactical strength of the coach, you can see how composed the team was yesterday.

 ⁠Now you can understand how much Man City played so hard to be able to defeat Real Madrid last season, this goes to show how much Dortmund had to pull the strings yesterday. Though they tried so hard but Real Madrid showed class in the way they played and at this point you can see how they still maintained their composed despite the pressure. Of course, Real Madrid will be able to still keep challenging and from the announced transfer of Kylian and Alphonso  you can say they will still be able to keep dominating in Europe. Like Perez said they’re going for the 16th and I can’t wait to see how it goes for them.

Dortmund were very unlucky with those missed first half chances especially the one-on-one Adeyemi had with Courtois those kind of chances  shouldn't be missed in such a final match because the opponent would punish any team that misfired that was exactly what played between the two sides yesterday, however kudos to the young Dortmund players who against all odds reached this season UCL and held on to a goalless draw into the first half unfortunately couldn't held on and I also congratulate Real Madrid who had proven to be consistent in the UCL competition having lost last season finals against Man City.

The champion was determined last night and Real Madrid won the cup again. I don't think we watched a very enjoyable game, the other games were more enjoyable.
It's getting annoying that Real Madrid keeps winning the cup.
I hope another team wins the cup next year. I wanted B.Dortmund to win this year but it didn't happen.

For Real Madrid, who have now won the UCL title for the 15th time, it seems like a normal thing for them. But for some of the new players at Real Madrid, this is definitely an extraordinary achievement for them there. So we can still feel the joy there. But for Dortmund, even though they have to accept defeat, they are still very proud to be able to play in the UCL final. So even if they don't win, I'm sure they can still go home without being too sad. because just being able to reach the final is already a good record for this team, which rarely reaches the final. And actually Dortmund also makes me happy with their performance which can also match Real Madrid's performance well. Maybe if Dortmund could take advantage of opportunities better then this team could score goals and equalize repeatedly in this match. Unfortunately, Dortmund's utilization of opportunities was not as good as Real Madrid's. But in the end it all ended with results that were exactly what everyone expected.

Yeah. In fact when they won I didn't see any special joy in them, they are used to such victories, for them it's like winning a regular match in their league apparently. Some Real players have won the trophy several times before, it's nothing new for them. I don't know when Borussia will be able to reach the Champions League final again

Dortmund have done quite well in the Champions League this season, they managed to beat many strong opponents, but in the final match they had to admit that Real Madrid was a very difficult team for them to beat. Even from the first half, Real Madrid played a fairly aggressive game by putting pressure on Dortmund with the many attacks they carried out. But it's true as you said, Dortmund didn't build a team with money, unlike other teams where they bought players with quite expensive prices but in the end they failed.

So, Dortmund success in becoming runners up in the Champions League this season is quite impressive and of course several of their players will experience a significant increase in their release clauses in the transfer market this season. For Dortmund, of course, this is a pretty good aspect as they will continue to sell their stars to get a lot of money and maybe that tradition will continue in the transfer market this season.

I saw the match yesterday, great match, I'm really sorry for Dortmund but really, really a great Real Madrid team waited for the opponent's game and then struck as best as they know how. Blancos was impressed by the numbers on Dortmund's full-backs. practically drunk I was thinking that Dortmund will still get 25 million as per the contract for Jude's victory this is really a joke but okay this is football

Indeed Dortmund had their very good chances in the first half of the match and they didn’t convert any of them which they might have thought the chances will still be coming for them not knowing it was all they got and needed to convert it just when they had the opportunity at first glance. Every team learns everyday and this will be a lesson for them. Some opportunities like this don’t always come again and again. They never thought to have made it this far to the final and when they did, they were unable to convert the very few chances they had to have made them triumph. Real Madrid was a big team to have been faced by them, but in football, anything could have happened. I hope they do better by next season.

Carlo Ancelotti, the coach, has contributed immensely to Real Madrid’s achievements. Despite any criticisms about his tactical approach, his ability to strategize effectively has led to remarkable results. Winning two trophies in a season is no small feat, and Ancelotti’s track record speaks for itself. He remains one of the best coaches in the game.

In the game of football chances are limited and Dortmund couldn't confidently be composed to make use of those chances. Just rewatching that chance trashed away by Karim Adeyemi in the 22nd minutes reminded me of Kai Havertz in the 2020/21 UCL finals Chelsea against Manchester City, that goal made history for the club and it' was something similar to that of  Karim Adeyemi but he pushed the ball too hard away.  Same could have just changed the whole tempo of the game for Dortmund probably denying Real Madrid from becoming European champions for the fifteenth time.

Joselu is just a loan player whose contract will end as soon as this season finishes. It is undeniable that Joselu will only be at Real Madrid for a season before he returns to his old team, but he has had such great success at Real Madrid this season that his market value may have increased.

Joselu scored 16 goals in three different competitions with Real Madrid this season. He had the opportunity to make 34 appearances in La Liga with 10 goals and 2 assists, while Joselu made 11 appearances in the Champions League with 5 goals. 1 goal and 1 other assist were recorded in the Spanish Super Cup.

As a loan player and who turned 34 last March, Joselu may be able to make the right decision after his perfect season at Real Madrid. He can return to his old team or maybe go to another team that needs his services as a main striker. Real Madrid is unlikely to extend his loan contract considering that Kylian Mbappe has arrived, so Joselu will clearly have to take his suitcase from Santiago Bernabeu.

Isn't that enough? In football, as in most other competitive/non-competitive activities, what matters is the result achieved and not how hard you tried or how many chances you had. Moreover, if you “recalculate” the statistics of the game in relation to efficiency, it turns out that Dortmund was very bad compared to Real.
Dortmund had an easier path to the final than Real Madrid, so it’s fair that Real was the final boss. Dortmund played surprisingly well (surprisingly considering they are the 5th team in the Bundesliga) but it wasn't enough.

Real Madrid success in winning the UCL trophy left several sweet notes in their squad this season, including Ancelotti decision to play Jude Bellingham in the number 9 position. Toni Kroos also made another note for Real Madrid's success in beating Dortmund and winning the most UCL trophies with 6 titles. He also won his first and last UCL trophy at Wembley Stadium.

Ancelotti certainly really wants to play Joselu, but he has his own plans when facing Dortmund. Real Madrid is more dominant in playing the ball in the central area, waiting for a good opportunity to penetrate the opponent's defense area. Dortmund showed almost equal resistance, making Real Madrid have to wait until the 74th minute to open their scoring account.

The achievement that Dortmund has achieved is certainly not bad, by being able to reach the UCL final, of course that is a good achievement, even though they failed by one step to win the trophy, but they have to be proud of their achievement. with their defeat it was not surprising because what they were facing was the king of UCL who had a winning mentality who was difficult to beat and also almost never lost in the final.

It is true that in the first half Dortmund had more chances but none of their chances turned into goals Also in the first half they dominated more, but they failed to maintain the situation in the second half so that Real Madrid could break into their goal. and indeed in the beginning they were still able to put pressure on Real Madrid but when Real Madrid were able to break into their goal, it was seen that their game was in disarray until Real Madrid was able to score the second goal again.

Madrid, who have been favored  to win easily over Dortmund, actually had to work hard and wait for the 74th minute to be able to break the dortmund goal, I personally from the beginning of the game continued to support Dortmund to be able to break Madrid dominance in the Champions League, but even though I lost, I was quite happy to see Dortmund game performance before the goal happened,  Dortmund, who was indeed underestimated but managed to make Madrid quite troublesome and even several times Madrid almost conceded by the pressure exerted by Dortmund in the final match, played Reus in his honor because next season he retired apparently backfired on Dortmund, after Edin Terzic replaced Karim Adeyemi and inserted Reus, Dortmund game performance dropped dramatically at that time.

Although they failed to get the Champions League trophy, of course, Dortmund fans should still be proud, because indeed from the beginning Dortmund was not predicted and favored to reach the final, but in fact they can go so far now even though in the end they failed to win the trophy.
