I completely understand your belief that PSG will make it to the round of 8 in the UCL. It looks like they'll win because they have a strong team and Mbappe is dedicated and talented. However, I must say that Im somewhat concerned about what follows. While the quarterfinals are a completely different game, PSG hasnt always done well in important UCL moments. Premier League teams like Real Madrid and Manchester City are playing very well, and it doesnt look like PSG will be able to beat these big teams. Although PSG wants to show me Im wrong, I have a sneaking suspicion that their journey might come to an end in the quarters.

These two teams both won their respective league championships last season but now both teams are not performing well, of course this will be an interesting match.

But for me what is interesting about these two teams is Batcelona because this is a big test to show how ready Barcelona is to compete in the best club competition. This is a weak Napoli team compared to last season, If barcelona can't overcome it, this is a big sign that Xavi may not be the coach who can take Barcelona forward.

It seems like there is a gap between players and coaches for this song and indeed Barcelona is slightly ahead because they have a coach who has been irreplaceable in the last 2 seasons. Sociedad is indeed one of the dark horse clubs at the moment, not only in the Champions League but even in the domestic competition because who would have thought that they would top the table in their first debut in the Championd League beating Inter, Benfica and Salzburg which if we talk about strength and experience then Sociedad is behind these 3 clubs.

It looks like nearly all of the teams whose names have been called with the European Super League have rejected to play under this format. There are rumours about only Barcelona and Real Madrid to be okay with that but surely this format won't work with only these 2 teams. Grin

As a result I don't expect UEFA to face any competition in the near future.

By the way UEFA president Ceferin said that football was not for sale. I understand him about why he used this sentence considering these speculations. However this statement is normally not much sincere to tell the truth. Things can really change a lot when organizers are offered a lot of money.
