Copenhagen managed to defeat Galatasaray and have a chance to continue in the Champions League. Copenhagen finished 2nd in the group with this win and I think they finished in a good position for themselves. It is actually a great success for them to come out of this group as 2nd. Bayern Munich, on the other hand, managed to defeat United with a single goal. After this win United finished 4th in the group and ended their European adventure. Now they need to focus on the league. If there is no success in the league, they are likely to change the manager.

Manchester united has failed to go to the knockout stage and im sure that newcastle will be going another EPL team that is failed to go to the knockout stage as well. I don't wanna say a lot but look at the current line up of newcastles. It has no good squad at this time.
The performance from newcastle is also very inconsistent in the UCL. This is the first time of newcastle played in UCL after almost two decades. Missing an opportunity is a common thing caused by the players may be feeling awkward with the situation in the UCL.
UCL is the fight from the best of the best. newcast is just coming back here, and that's it.

MU has been confirmed out from UCL while newcastle is still having the last chance but im very pessimistic if newcastle will not make it. It's caused by that newcastle has not yer performed so well.
It keeps struggle in all of competitions.
The next match between Newcastle United vs AC Milan will be a match for the 3rd place between these two teams, because these two teams have a small chance of qualifying for the round of 16. Newcastle United is in a negative trend in the Premier League and I'm sure they will be quite under pressure in the match against AC Milan. Even though these two teams appeared inefficient in the Champions League this season, AC Milan will probably be the winners in the next match. Well, if AC Milan wins, I'm not sure they can qualify for the round of 16 because I see PSG will be able to subvert their hopes.

We hope that a surprise will occur in this match because if PSG loses then Newcastle United and AC Milan have great hopes of changing their fate. Apart from that, Newcastle United's first season in the Champions League did not go quite smoothly because they did not prepare their forces well in last season's transfer window. Maybe this will be an experience for them to be able to improve their strength in the January transfer window. Howe has done well in building Newcastle United but struggled greatly when they were drawn in most difficult group.

You wasn't pleased and got vexed because you was expecting a miracle from Manchester United a side who haven't done well since the Champions League football this season kicked off? Henceforth, if you're a Manchester United fan and you want pleasure and fun, don't deprive yourself from supporting a stronger club until Manchester gain themselves.

Ten Hag said after the match that Manchester United did not deserve to lose in this match, it is strange to hear this when a team for which this victory was the last chance loses. After the match, ten Hag said that now their task is to finish the season in the top 4, but I have doubts about this, I thought that after this defeat he would lose his place in the team, but maybe this will happen in the near future.

The opportunity for Manchester United to finish in the top four is still open, and if it can be realized, perhaps Ten Hag will be retained until his contract ends. However, we see that the competition is currently quite fierce, especially with Aston Villa recent entry into the UCL zone. They were even able to shift Man City position in the standings, so maybe that was the toughest job for Ten Hag, apart from trying in the UCL this time. If the opposite happens, then you can be sure that his career at Old Trafford will end quickly, and I think management will prefer to appoint an interim coach rather than seeing Ten Hag manage the team badly and fail to appear in the UCL next season.

It cannot be denied that Ten Hag has a tough character and he wants to apply that to the United squad. So far it has failed, he should try to think of other ways to change the situation, and the most important thing is to create good relationships with his players. Isolating Sancho would not be an advantage, in fact it would be a big mistake that would set a bad example for everyone in the team. Regarding Ten Hag successor if he is really fired, I am interested in Zidane to take charge of the club, and I think Zidane can take United through the group phase easily, unlike Ten Hag at the moment.

Ten Hag is mainly responsible for MU's collapse in the Champions League this season. Yes, Zidane would be very suitable for this position. But if he agrees, it's still a challenge for him. No matter how talented he is, MU is a chaotic team. I still doubt Zidane can revive MU.
In his coaching career, Zinedine Zidane has only led Real Madrid (2 terms), but it was enough to make a name for himself. He was wise to choose Real Madrid. I don't think he will risk choosing MU to continue his coaching role. Maybe he will be praised after reviving MU. But the failure rate at Old Trafford will be higher if Zidane doesn't want to be like Ten Hag right now.
A really bad first season for Ten Hag with Manchester United and this season has really been sad season for the Manchester United squad, they failed in the UCL and they also failed to participate in the Europa League playoffs.
And today defeat to Bayern Munich means Manchester United must accept the fact that they will only play in the Premier League this season in this important competition.
But from this defeat, Ten Hag even said that they didn't need to regret this defeat and that lessons should be learned so that next season could be even better.
But many people stated that next season it is not certain that Manchester United will be able to get UCL tickets so what will be changed better.

For Zidane, he is said to be the coach who will replace Ten Hag if he is fired and this rumor has been circulating for several months.
It just that there were several statements given by Zidane regarding his name, which he said would replace Ten Hag.
Zidane stated that he would really reconsider if he was called and given an offer to coach Manchester United.

What a shameful performance overall from Manchester United who were not able to qualify in a group where it was also Copenhagen and Galatasaray. In such group not being able to go at least in Europa League is more shameful than what I am writing here.I saw the game yesterday night and it was not a good game to watch with a Manchester United out of ideas at all.Bayern didn't need to win the game at all yesterday yet it is in their mentality to win every game.
I wasn't too pleased with Manchester United performance yesterday. They needed to make a statement and win the game even if they were going to exit the champions league, because the other game didn't end in a draw. But they needed to show that they have what it takes by winning Bayern. It was so disappointing honestly speaking.

Henceforth, if you're a Manchester United fan and you want pleasure and fun, don't deprive yourself from supporting a stronger club until Manchester gain themselves.

Yesterday, I saw both Luka Modric and Sergio Ramos missing penalties last night, fun first half for Real Madrid even if Berlin lead with a goal. I didn't see the second half of the game but it was good to see that Joselu be doing what he was meant to do for the club.

Sergio Ramos will that penalty, became the highest ever scoring defender in the Champions League with seventeen goals. They would be back to domestic league actions to fight for top four or five.

Where's Manchester United? one of strongest club in this world must be able to qualify for quarter final either in Champions League or Europa League right? Can anyone mention which Premier League club that stay at the bottom during the group stage in Champions League except Manchester United? Cheesy

However we have another exciting upcoming matches which are Newcastle vs Milan and Dortmund vs PSG, If both Newcastle and Dortmund win, this will be an interesting story again since PSG will not qualify to the next round.

Manchester united has reduced to the last position in the group A, which is a sign that Manchester united will not go far in this champions league tournament because their performance in this season will not bring them good result. They started the match well in the first half, hopping that they will use home advantage to prove to people that they will use their opportunity well by defeating Bayern Munich 2-0, but the match change to another level in the second half that made Bayern Munich to scored a single goal in the 70th minutes to defeated Manchester united 0-1. I think AC Milan will defeat Newcastle united today because they are doing well in the Italian league competition which they can still prove it in this match to defeat Newcastle united 2-1.

Manchester united has failed to go to the knockout stage and im sure that newcastle will be going another EPL team that is failed to go to the knockout stage as well. I don't wanna say a lot but look at the current line up of newcastles. It has no good squad at this time.

Galatasaray and Manchester United both played horrible in their games last night. Thanks to Manchester United's failing to win against Bayern Munich at least Galatasaray are going to the Europa League. I didn't expect Manchester United to finish Group A at the last position before the group stage started. I thought they would take one of the second or third position. But here we are.  Smiley

The criticism will be getting bigger against Erik ten Hag from now on. The fans must be really frustrated at the result they got. I think Erik ten Hag might not last even until the end of the season.
After Manchester United worst performance in early matches there were feeling about them to be had early exited but still many are disappointed with their performance and strategy in this season which was complicated and there were also some hopes as Bayern Munich is already having chance of staying at the top of the group so they will use their substitutes for this match and allow Manchester United to have something positive but nothing happen, and now they are out of the event.

There is no doubt now we can have change in coach as well because things are not going good and fans are also frustrated which is making things worst for him their chances for ending into top four into this season are also not good enough it's good time for having something better which bring improvement in performance and quality of the club until end of this season.

Impressive match and almost all of my predictions of winning but unfortunately it was thwarted by PSV's draw against Arsenal from the first minute until the final round, the two clubs responded to each other's attacks and Arsenal almost lost but I admit that Arteta didn't want to lose that match so his defensive strategy Arsenal did it stronger in the second half.
Initially I thought Arsenal would win the match by scoring early by Eddie Nketiah but unfortunately the Arsenal defender's carelessness was not focused when the PSV players attacked and in the end they conceded due to the defender's carelessness going too far towards the middle so it was very easy for the 2 PSV players to control the ball to score.
Actually, Arsenal could have scored more than 1 if only Mohamed Elneny's shot was on target but unfortunately it was very narrow and almost went into PSV's goal.
Next, it was quite an interesting match to see Union Berlin's match when they hosted Real Madrid and it ended with Madrid winning and according to what I thought, even though Joselu was only a substitute for Vinicius Jr. Joselu was able to display the same performance as Vinicius, in fact Joselu was able to score 2 score and ended by Ceballos with 1 score closing Real Madrid's victory.
Even though the odds @12 I lost because of the PZV and Arsenal match, I felt very entertained.

I don't know if I'm the only one noticing it that Madrid are not the same team we ones saw 2 seasons ago, these set of players are like amateurs trying to be like the past legends and they can't do half of what they (Madrid of last season) did last campaign.
In this campaign I don't see Madrid as a threat in any way, even in the la Liga they're not that strong and challenging as they used to be.
If care is not taken something big will happen to them (Madrid) in the knockout stage, I have that feeling that they might not reach the quarter finals of the UCL, their performance is not that convincing to me.
I am really surprised from your this statement about the team which is currently at the second spot in La Liga and also ending their campaign in Champions League with 18 points mean without losing any match, and they score 16 goals which are currently highest in all group matches by all teams and this is really impressive for me because there were doubts about them before start of this season, but they achieve good results with available sources under Carlos Ancelotti, and they are currently one of the hot favourite teams which having good chance for ending this season with double.

Now Joselu and Bellingham duo is working impressive, and they are all young guns which are having bright future in soccer I feel good for them as they have done good job without their main striker which was not able to play due to injury, but things are really going good now in second half of the season we will have improved performance from them as well.

I would like to add one more thing, after the game was over Erik Ten Hag told the media that they should have deserved to win. This was TenHag's stupidity that he still didn't want to admit. It was clear that Manchester United had embarrassed themselves in front of all the United fans at Old Tarfford and Ten Hag was still defending himself as if this was not a crushing defeat. Why is a coach who doesn't know himself retained until now? This is a big club so Ten Hag should step down before the fans go any further. No UEL, No UCL and even in the Premier League his fate is unclear, this should be a red light for Ten Hag.
Yes, that's right, it's a stupidity that he's displaying. Okay, I'd consider it true if they were playing a really good game, or it could be measured by their good match statistics. But we can see that even in the statistics they are still behind Bayern Munich, so what is the basic reason for him saying that? Is he saying that because they are the host? That is something very silly that he is showing.
Regardless, in the end we have found out who will accompany Bayern Munich to the round of 16, and we have found out who will go to the European league play offs and Manchester United will have to end their European competition very disappointingly.

Thomas Tuchel aim for a win and he earned three points from Erik Ten Hag. I was thinking, Bayern winning or losing, they already sealed a place in the next round so facing Manchester United, they would have settle for lesser results, instead they played as if they're down by a point on the table. Bayern Munich defeated Manchester United at Old Trafford last night. The Red Devils shown themselves in the first half but couldn't maintain the momentum in the second half, there's enough mistakes made by Manchester United and conceding just a goal doesn't mean they did any better.

I will not talk about the correct betting results and I want to express frustration at two matches that should have allowed my multibet to win.

Here it is Inter vs Real Sociedad and even though we all know that both teams have been confirmed to have qualified for the round of 16, at least the competition as group D winners is still continuing considering the points earned are still the same. But unfortunately Inter, who played as hosts, seemed to be carrying out a formal match and did not seem to be aiming for first place in the group, so they let Real Sociedad control the game. Lautaro Martinez was also rested in this match and I know how important this player is and coach Simione Inzhagi doesn't want this key player to get injured in this match. In the end, the score ended without a goal from either team and Real Sociedad emerged as group D winners with a superior goal difference.

Elsewhere, there is Copenhagen vs Galatasaray and this is the hottest match in Group A which determines which one of them will accompany Bayern Munich to the round of 16. But what happened was beyond expectations and my predictions were wrong because I thought there would be a lot of goals in this match and at least the two teams would return goals until they reached 3 goals or more. However, there was only 1 goal and it came from Copenhagen and Galatasaray did not prove their mentality in this group competition so they were finally eliminated. Well, I thought it was an easy bet and I made a mistake in these two games. Sad

Bayern Munich mentality, they didn't need this match, but they won, they are already at this level because they have this mentality, they don't say German discipline for nothing. It was an embarrassing final for Manchester United.

They had only one chance in the last game and many people predicted that they had no chance against Bayern. Galatasaray at least went to the European league, but I expected them to beat Coppehangen, they were excited for this match because Galatasaray would be the only Turkish team in the last sixteen.

If Manchester United can win and beat Munich then they can qualify, but unfortunately Munich is too great for Manchester United to beat, they are more experienced in the UCL so they are not easy to beat even though in the domestic league a few days ago Munich was humiliated by Frankfurt with a score, but whatever It was enough for Munich to win narrowly to qualify for the next round.
Even though Manchester United were able to win, they still did not advance to the round of 16 because in another match, Copenhagen managed to win over Galatasaray.
Indeed, Manchester United no longer has any possibility and Manchester United's elimination from the European stage is quite natural because their performance is not worthy of competing on the European stage.

I wasn't too pleased with Manchester United performance yesterday. They needed to make a statement and win the game even if they were going to exit the champions league, because the other game didn't end in a draw. If you look at strength, Bayern is much better than Manchester United, so this result is not a surprise and this is a worthy result.
Manchester United this season is very bad, so it would be better for them to be eliminated and focus on building their team again to be stronger and be able to focus more on the Premier League to catch up.

Yes, it will be a bad night for Galatasaray and Manchester United, but my guess is right that Copenhagen will be the one who will go through to the next round with Munich, it was so easy for Copenhagen to score a goal against Galatasaray and Galatasaray's weak back line is easy to penetrate until they have to concede, Copenhagen deserves to go through to the next round, I know that this match will not be a draw as Manchester united fans hope if Copenhage and galatasaray's draw will be even better.
It is unfair to say Copenhagen does not deserve to be in for Round of 16 because they actually put in serious efforts and succeeded to get that ticket. I would like to see Galatasaray to move to a next round because with players they have, they will potentially contribute more exciting matches in a next round. Anyway, I can not say Copenhagen is a bad team and don't deserve the second position in this group.

Manchester United created some chances for themselves but failed to secure those advantages and eventually have big disadvantages before the final match day. Their defeat over Bayern Munich is really predictable and their fourth position in this group can trigger some massive changes in their club in the next few months. Spending so much money over the last ten years and are facing many big problems, if they are smart, they will not continue doing what they have done recent seasons.

Unfortunately, it was a half bad and half good night for Galatasaray. A defeat against Copenhag it caused to say goodbye to the Champions League. On the other hand, Bayern's win against Mancester United means they can continue in the European League. Thank you Bayern  Grin

Napoli is officially one of the Serie A players who have confirmed that they will qualify for the next round after beating Braga with a score of 2-0.
Napoli and Inter Milan have already qualified, only 2 more teams will play tonight.

A draw would have been enough for Napoli to progress, but Napoli did well last night to beat Braga 2-0. Victor Osimhen performed quite well along with a number of other Napoli players, forcing Braga to fall behind 1-0 through OG in the first 10 minutes.
Due to this result, Braga was forced to go down to the European League playoff stage.
Congratulations to Napoli.

What strategy is Ten Hag using? It's hard to understand. He considered himself a strict person. But I see him being stubborn and refusing to admit his mistakes. You know, replacing him is necessary, but who is the right person to shoulder this responsibility now?
The question of who should be the right person to replace Ten Hag is one that Manchester United management should be attempting to answer, as they have fired numerous coaches as a result of poor performances after Sir Ferguson's retirement that happened in 2013.
It's by next season, that Ten Hag will be sacked. Manchester United management is only providing him a window of opportunity to see if he can improve Manchester United's play before the end of the current season like he did when he helped the team finish in the top 4. Who knows, maybe this season will see the same thing?
