I think Arteta needs to learn a lot from other European clubs that play in the UCL, there are many things he has to learn to be able to make Arsenal a big and great club that can win the UCL in the future, not this season because they don't seem very ready to compete with other great clubs in the UCL because of course it is very difficult and complicated, Arteta will probably learn more while Arsenal plays in the UCL.

Arsenal's current focus should be on the title race in the EPL because if they succeed in getting the EPL title they can definitely target the UCL title next, as we know, up to now fighting for the title in the EPL is difficult for them and they always fail, how can they dream of achieving it? Fighting for the title in the UCL is clearly impossible. I think Arteta needs to prepare a lot of strategies and the best players in the next season to be able to hunt for the title in the UCL.
Of course, this is Arteta's first season in the Champions League with Arsenal, so he has to learn a lot from other teams. But I think Arteta has gained enough experience and knowledge to bring a lot of success to Arsenal because he worked with another great coach at Manchester City. Arteta is Pep Guardiola's former assistant at Manchester City and he once thought of many game plans with Pep Guardiola, so this will definitely help him manage Arsenal well.

Especially in the Champions League, of course Arteta must provide experience and mentality to his current players. Arsenal have been absent from the Champions League for quite some time and they have changed generations after 6 seasons of absence. Many young players in the Arsenal squad must gain experience and be mentally strong, especially because the Champions League atmosphere is very different from domestic competitions.

Pep's time at Manchester City was fantastic. I still think they will have such a good time. We will watch him in the blue City for many years to come. Because of Manchester United, the city of Manchester was red for many years and now it is painted blue. The person who had the biggest share in this was the club president and Pep, who made the best use of these opportunities. Frankly, I don't think he will retire anytime soon.
Pep Guardiola is an experienced coach who has a lot of titles in various clubs he has coached, especially last season Pep Guardiola succeeded in making Manchester City win the Treble Winners and maybe if Pep Guardiola leaves the club it will have an impact on Manchester City because of the club he has led for many years years are very comfortable with the system and coaching, the coach who will replace him will not necessarily have the potential like Pep Guardiola and Manchester City will have difficulty finding a replacement who suits Manchester City's playing style.
Same goes for Pep as well, even though City will have hard time replacing him as manager and find someone who can get them all those wins, they could spend more and more money all the time and test managers and eventually maybe get it again.

But, there aren't all that many teams in the world that can go for UCL, City is one of them, madrid, bayern and maybe psg if they are properly managed, there are very few clubs that can win the UCL title, and if Pep leaves City, then which team would he go to? That would be hard, if he goes to a lower team than these, then he is not going to win, and if he doesn't win then he is not going to be getting offers again from the highest UCL winner level clubs, so his career would go down. So he realizes that even though City would hard time, eventually they can recover, but Pep will not be able to recover that easily and he might have trouble, unless he goes to a huge club of course, then he will be fine too and stay there for many years.

I think every coach wants to recruit quality players into their team but sometimes it becomes an obstacle for them because the player doesn't want to join them. The figure of the coach is a big influence for each player to accept their offer and Pep Guardiola has the advantage of convincing the players he is targeting to join their team. Well, right now, maybe many players are quite interested in joining Manchester City and training under Pep guardiola, but that isn't a reality because Pep Guardiola is truly a genius at recruiting players who can help them become champions.

Apart from that, the overall career of coach Pep Guardiola has shown his expertise in producing star players in his squad. He quite a genius, even this season, the average quality of Manchester City players is quite good. I think Manchester City has a pretty strong squad this season and they will win lots of trophies this season. Both in the Champions League and the domestic league, Manchester City has performed quite impressively this season. Even in the Premier League, other teams might find it difficult to compete with Manchester City to break City dominance in the Premier League.
Quality players added to your team brings not just that finishing touch but also class to your team. Building up with youngsters is pretty cool but there’ll be need for that quality player with versatility of experience to help anchor the team, now it balls down to the player; is he interested in joining your team? Are you one coach he would love to work under?

Pep and Manchester City is a key example of a team any quality player would want to play with because the team is pretty good and you would be going into the team without much workload but to deliver on your position of play.

Manchester City have a strong squad and a very good depth and would challenge and also win trophies this season and anytime. Credits must be given to Pep who have built this squad and won Manchester City the treble, they’re dominating no doubt but with addition of some quality player(s) I think they’ll be formidable.

Well, if a club has money and they are giving freedom to the coach to bring in expensive players, he is definitely going to do that. Because at the end of the day, no one is going to care about how much money they are spending, unless they go absolutely bankrupt. They are only going to care about how much better results they are actually bringing in.

Manchester City is performing really well. They look to be on course to actually win both the English Premier League and also the Champions League competition. of course there are going to be a few mistakes made. That is understandable. But I think in the end they are going to win both of the trophies.

If Arsenal would make it to the finale this season I wouldn't call it as luck honestly. It is the truth that there have been some matches in the Premier League in which Arsenal played badly but still won. However this is the Champions League we are talking about. There is no way a team reaching the finale by chance.

Arteta has built a really solid team with young players. Maybe there is some experience problem at this point but they are still able to stay strong most of the time. Besides some young players have already gained quite much experience which they can use it to be competitive in the Champions League too.
Arteta has build Arsenal to the extent that they are now one of the best teams in the Champions League this season.
I Know that Arsenal is not the favorite to win the Champions League, but almost all teams in the Champions League will be seeing Arsenal as a threat because they know that Arsenal is a team of young stars that are willing to win something for the team, therefore, if care is not taking, Arsenal will surprise people in this season's Champions League.
Too early to call it as one of best team in the UCL. Arsenal has not yet faced a strong opponent and how can we use some clubs like sevilla, lens as measurements to say that if arsenal was a strong club this season? I would rather call arsenal is still average. You will be seeing the real performance from arsenal once it's going to face a strong club. The performance from the arsenal is not yet stable at this moment. It's always going up then down again like a rollercoaster and so, arsenal is not one of best in UCL.
How many UCL owned by arsenal? It owns zero. Bayern, real madrid, barcelona and many more. Those clubs are the best teams in the UCL. Arsenal needs to beat some of them to be called as one of best team.

Arsenal needs to prove its performance against the big club. I would not call it as one of best club before arsenal will be facing a strong club.
People was calling it as a bottle gun. The consistentcy of arsenal still remains a big question.

Of course Arteta is the ingredient behind the success of Arsenal because ever since he started coaching Arsenal the club has been moving from one success to another perhaps he learnt very well from Pep Guardiola because he is using similar tactics that Pep Guardiola is using on Manchester City.
However the only time Arsenal was on this impressive performance was during the time of Arsene Winger because he also was one of the best coach that has ever coached Arsenal so just like Arteta he also won so many trophies before he left.
Indeed Arteta has managed to shape Arsenal to be better and better every season, but I think saying Arsenal as a threat to other teams seems too much too. Although ya, I also realize that at this moment Arsenal are still at the top of the standings in group B but even so, I think the results are still ordinary and will not be a big threat to the seeded teams later in this Champion League. Because ya, Arsenal are also in a group that at least, the teams in grub B have quality that can be assumed to have quality that is not too different . Therefore, it is only natural that if Arsenal managed to top the Group B standings in the Champions League this time and I don't think that will be a threat in the knockout phase either later.

Arsenal's team is strong this season. Arteta has managed to strengthen the bonds between the players in the team. At the same time Arsenal players are in excellent form. Qualifying for the knockout rounds of the Champions League is not a difficult task for Arsenal. However, I don't think Arsenal have a chance to do well in this season's Champions League. I consider Arsenal the favourite for the Champions League title. Compared to the previous season, this Arsenal team is stronger and more organized. If none of Arsenal's key players suffer injuries then this team has the potential to do well in the Champions League. And I guess Arsenal won't have too much trouble to qualify till the semi-finals.

Mikel Arteta have tried for the club, making them to become one of the competitive team in EPL this season. Gunners have targets to hits and they're working towards to achieving good results in matches played. Arsenal are not enlisted as the best team in UEFA Champions League, remember they have not feature in the Champions league for a long time and watching them bouncing back to actions doesn't surprise me. Arsenal cannot bark as a confident EPL club, rather they do fumbled like an any other EPL club just like Newcastle United and Manchester United.
But so far in the group stage the gunners are playing quite well and dominating group B with 9 points from 3 matches with a win and one loss, arteta has a good view to continue this season and be a threat to many teams in the next round, only two matches left against Lens and PSV I think it is not a tough task for Arsenal in the group stage.

Yes, as far as I know, Arsenal are not the favorite team as far as the league goes, but maybe for this season Arteta shows his dedication to Arsenal and can bring Arsenal into a team that will bring threats, judging from the players he recruited and also some of the options prepared, it seems that Arteta has prepared himself quite well to compete with various teams from other big leagues in the world. Actually I also realize that the favorite team is still Manchester City, but who knows that Arsenal has the opportunity to steal it from Manchester City.
I think if you compare it with Manchester United and Newcastle United it's not comparable to this situation, because those two teams really struggled in the UCL, and they lost their place this season.

Arsenal has a very slim chance to achieve this, because any clib that reaches the finals is very strong and I don't see Arsenal as such club that will be strong enough to reach the final easily. If they do, I will still say that it is luck because they can't do it with the players and the playing pattern that they are using currently.

Why I will say that it is luck is because, Arsenal might have weak opponent that they can outsmart easily due to some laxity in the game. Apart from this, I don't think that it will be that easy for them if they meet big clubs like Real Madrid, Man City or Bayern Munich or even Inter. Arsenal should think on how to win EPL and not UCL.

Currently based on performance in both their domestic League, and the four matches they have played in the Champions League so far, they are not among the best, but cannot be looked down on because they have the hope of winning any team presently in the Champions League because they have the squad to play and win against any big team in the world right mow.

I know that experience matters in Champions League that is why I am directly saying that Arsenal are capable of winning the Champions League, but based on their performance since last season, they will try and they will go far in the Champions League this season.

Arsenal has currently got young enthusiastic and talented players but with the champions league, you may need more than that to be able to win, so I don't really think of seeing Arsenal been able to pull up a surprise anytime soon in the champions league even with their good form .

They might have successfully pass the group stage and have qualified for the next stage of the league, but I still think they may not be able to maintain good consistency enough as this has been their case most times, they don't have much experience with the ucl beyond the round of sixteen but if they can be better this season that will be really great. I don't mean to underestimate their ability of suprises so I will say let's still give them some time and see how it turns out buy the end of the round of sixteen.

Arsenal have learned from their previous season's mistakes. Arsenal didn't have a decent replacement of players last season. This is why we saw their performance decline. Arsenal's bench team is also weak this season. The coach and management should have added some of their talented players to the squad. However, there is a possibility that Arsenal's performance will deteriorate this season too if any of Arsenal's key players are facing injuries.

Tottenham are probably out of the title race. Now Arsenal have to fight against Manchester City and Liverpool to win the title. Both these teams have stronger squads than Arsenal and they are in very good form right now.
Mikel Arteta have learnt his lessons and working on his weak essentials to ensure he make good steps this time around. The incidents that happen to last season was coincidence, taking the league from the beginning of the season and declined from #1 spot when the time have already reach. Perhaps they have couples of opportunities to make things right this season and it will be against elite teams in UEFA Champions League and also have tough tasks to handle in EPL. Arsenal have just few key backup players for the main game starting XI which is really poor stats, Mikel Arteta should sign more talents in the coming transfer window.

I don't agree with you. Arsenal's decline in performance last season was no coincidence. Arsenal have dominated the Premier League since the start of the season. Their squad was very strong. However, they did not have any suitable replacements. This is why the Arsenal team has consistently dropped points after players have been injured and has not won the title. Arteta has strengthened his squad. The bond between the players has become stronger. But Arteta has no replacements for his key players this season as well. And this is why I don't consider the Arsenal team as favorites for the title this season.
Arsenal transfer market last summer was a signal that the club is targeting to win the EPL trophy and wants to have a lot to say in the UCL this season. We have never seen Arsenal management dare to spend so much money on new players before such as the signings of Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber. This happened after management saw the way Arteta managed the club in the previous season, like a tit for tat the management accepted several of the names proposed by Arteta. It could be interpreted that Arteta really wants to achieve success this season, and indeed we can see their ambition very clearly.

Their only weakness last season was Arteta lack of rotation options, but let us not forget that Arteta managed to bring Arsenal through to the Champions League thanks to finishing as runners-up in the English Premier League after several seasons of absence. I call it an improvement in performance, I think Arteta can imitate what Pep Guardiola did at Manchester City, he just needs to get full support from the club's top brass in the transfer window.

I think this is true. Guardiola constantly mocks his achievements in the Champions League, some think that this is politeness and a good sense of humor, but in fact it is a clear realization that if we think globally, then Guardiola is a loser in the Champions League. He always had the best teams (perhaps even the best in history) but at the same time he won the Champions League only 3 times. Of course, he wants to get more titles in order to write his name in history more solidly.
Even of Pep Guardiola decides to quit coaching today, he'll still be regarded as one of the best managers in the history of club football because of his great achievements since he started managing the first team of Barcelona after his years as the coach of the La Nadia(Barcelona's youth team)
~

This is debatable. Just like when the driver with the best car wins all the time. It is difficult to understand how important exactly his contribution to the victory is. Guardiola coached the three best teams and he managed to buy players for these teams for more than 2 billion dollars (he is the first in this indicator). This looks extremely dubious from the point of view of “legendary” or seriousness of achievements. In my country they say about people like him that he has money like a fool has candy wrappers. And as you understand, what you can buy for money costs nothing.

If they can get to the semi-finals that is already an extraordinary achievement and luck doesn't always come so Arsenal's fate will not be like that good in this competition, because here they have to compete with the best teams, especially when they enter the knockout rounds, even though they are quite favored as one of the champion contenders, but I don't think they will achieve this.

Pep Guardiola is an excellent coach who Manchester City will never have again. I'm not sure, but I don't remember Manchester City ever winning three trophies in a single season before. Guardiola broke a record there, so any coach who takes over will know he is an excellent coach. He is just as intelligent as Real Madrid coach Ancelotti, but we cannot compare the two because in my opinion, Ancelotti is superior to Guardiola in terms of managing a team. Even in defeat, Ancelotti will inspire his players to keep going, and occasionally he will substitute players who are quick to score goals. If you watch a lot of Real Madrid games, you will notice that they consistently score goals in the last 90 minutes of the match.

Ever since he took over as Real Madrid's coach, Ancelotti has always supported his players even when they make mistakes. However, Pep Guardiola lacks that quality. In a video I saw following the Chelsea vs. Manchester City match, Guardiola was visibly upset with his players because he didn't think Chelsea would play that way with them. Being a good coach means that you will never lose your temper with your players, and even if you do, you should hide it from them because it will affect how they play on the pitch.

He is an incredible coach who has written not just his name on the sands of times but also a philosophy for himself which younger generation coaches will love to key into and it’s fortunate Manchester City are one of his heavy beneficiaries, Ancelotti is another big coach who’s achieved quite a whole lot in Europe both locally and intercontinental.

Comparing Ancelotti to Pep; we see Don Carlo being superior and coming out top because he’s a big time coach and even when losing, knows how best to keep the team calm and at ease, temperament is one big quality every one needs to succeed in different spheres of life, Ancelotti knows how to calm his players and spur them up to victory even when losing but Pep lacks that and rather gets upset anytime his team is down on goals.

Pep Guardiola is a coach every team will dream to have because he has so many good quality coaching skills because when he came to Manchester City the team was broken so he picked there broken pieces together and made them whole, because in those days Manchester City always struggle every season do to poor performance but Pep Guardiola was the only coach that brought the best in Manchester City and making them to become the strongest team on the premier League.

So even if he retired the coach that would succeed him will not have much work to do because Pep Guardiola has done everything for Manchester City so his absence will not affect the team.
Pep's time at Manchester City was fantastic. I still think they will have such a good time. We will watch him in the blue City for many years to come. Not all good behavior leads to good outcomes in the end. Even those who are excessively kind may find themselves being stepped on and taken advantage of by others, which is certainly not good for the team if there's no firmness in behavior. I see someone's anger as evidence of their overflowing emotions. It's just a matter of time until their mind cools down. Everyone should do evaluations, both from the coach and the players.

So far, Pep won't lose his respect for the anger he showed. It's just another human trait that everyone is prone to getting angry when things don't go as planned.
Coaches must be assertive, I don't agree that a coach can't get angry. I don't mean at the individual or the person, but at the mistakes they make. We have to differentiate between what's good and what's not for the players. It's wrong to get angry at an individual player, and I don't even like that kind of coach. But it's different when the coach gets angry at the mistakes the players make.
Players will also understand very well why the coach is angry with them, yes it is because of the mistakes they make. Or in other words, there is a reason why the coach finally has to show an angry reaction.
