Barcelona would have finished the job if they had won today, but they lost and postponed it until the next game day. I still think they will be the leader in the group, but it would be easier if they at least got a draw in this match. The weakness in attack was seen today as well. During 1st game Dortmund beat Newcastle with 1 goal and today which is the 2nd game they won Newcastle with 2 goals. Dortmund is now at the top of their group followed by PSG. We can now attest to the fact that PSG and Dortmund will be the team to qualify in group F. I thought that the second leg would be different from the first because of Newcastle's well-known strong performances. However, I also thought that Dortmund would win because they would have the advantage of playing at home, which is exactly what happened. After a 1:0 loss in the first leg, Dortmund scored two goals in the second leg to advance to the top position in the group stage.

The game is over, and I was shocked to see that Barcelona had lost to Shakhtar in their second meeting. I doubt that Barcelona would have faced any opposition in that group if it hadn't been for Porto, all Barcelona star players are available but still lose, Lewandowski is not even happy at all, but that is soccer anything can happen. But even if they had won, Porto would still be in second place, if they maintain and win against Royal Antwerp.

My thoughts - When Dortmund suffered a heavy Bundesliga defeat by the Germans and Newcastle were able to win over Arsenal this week then thought their UCL clash would be interesting in terms of goals against each other, but it was never predicted that Newcastle would be brought to their knees by Dortmund.

I know this isn't a disaster for Barcelona, but a defeat like this can have an impact on player morale. I think Xavi is definitely not an elite manager, he is not at Barca's level, he still needs more game time. He doesn't seem to have any tactics that determine the direction of Barca's game, he also doesn't have a plan b c d when Barca is stuck in scoring goals, substitutions are still inconsequential, the important thing is to play players, his ego is still high, too obsessed with following like Pep but the direction is not clear.

Dortmund is very much in a good fo and has been that good since the beginning of this season and has really been brilliant with their performance, even in the bundesliga where they play as their domestic league, obviously their recent defeat couldn't slow them down. Their performance so far in the UCL has really been awesome and deserving of all the wins, they are not a weak team in the bundesliga and aswell I'm the UCL and I'm so sure they are obviously making it pass the group stage. PSG happens to be another team in their group that will most likely make it pass the group stage, Newcastle isn't a bad team but I think aren't really good with the UCL this season but aren't doing any bad at the premier league.
Both teams actually had a good match and indeed both were quite balanced in this match because after all, by looking at what happened, both Newcastle and Dortmund had almost equal abilities, it was just that Dortmund was better in the final finishing in this match.

Ac Milan is also very strong when it comes to playing at home. I just hope PSG plays well today; if not, they won't like how Ac Milan beats them there.
