Barcelona had difficulty creating opportunities because Shakhtar's defense was very tight. Barcelona tried long balls, but that didn't work for them either. This kind of defensive strategy often makes things difficult for Barcelona, especially when the opponent is 1 goal ahead.

I'm not sure Barcelona lost this match because however they could have pressed better and forced Sakhtar's defenders to make mistakes. Barcelona must avoid defeat and maintain their best form, but to be honest this is a difficult match and makes the players feel frustrated. There's still time and I'm sure the equalizer will come soon.
Dortmund was able to score a second goal and beat Newcastle, now they are top of the group (at least until Milan and PSG played their match). Apparently Howe was never able to find an approach to the Dortmund defense, no matter how they tried, they were never able to score a single goal against them.

And Shakhtar still beat Barcelona, a sensational defeat. I don’t know if this will allow Shakhtar to have any chance of leaving the group, Porto will most likely be able to beat Antwerp and also gain 9 points. Of course, Shakhtar will still retain a theoretical chance of reaching the playoffs, but even EL would not be a bad option for them.

I think there were some surprising results in the early games. Especially Barcelona's defeat was not expected by anyone. Despite playing a dominant game against Shakthar, Barcelona only managed to get 1 shot on target and lost 1-0 away and suffered their first defeat in the group. Shakthar will want to at least hold on to the group with this win and their thoughts that they might not make it out of the group might change after this game.

I’m looking forward to the games tonight, as usual Group F takes centre stage. Dortmund vs Newcastle and AC Milan vs PSG the most exciting games.

We’re getting to the business end of the group stage now. Every point is precious to teams trying to advance to the last 16.

Milan-PSG is a okey or continue game for Milan in the group stage. The Italian team has not won in the last 4 official matches and they are struggling in attack. Paris Saint Germain have found their rhythm after the defeat against Newcastle United, winning all 5 games by scoring 3 goals each. South Korean player Lee Kang-In has attracted attention recently with his contributions to the score, apart from his combative football. The South Korean star is in great form. Paris Saint Germain is one step ahead of Milan who are struggling in front of goal with their recent consistent play and PSG is my favorite in this match.

In fact, just leading in ball possession does not guarantee win. Because, even though in the first half Barcelona had better ball possession, but in reality Barcelona didn't have any shots on target at all. Meanwhile, Shakhtar Donetsk had 2 shots on target in the first half and thus, it seemed natural that in the first half Shakhtar Donetsk managed to lead with a score of 1-0. But ya, there is still the second half and Barcelona can still score a goal back too and maybe, Barcelona still has a chance to win in this match too. Because, if for example Barcelona fails to win this match, then Barcelona still has to do better to ensure they win Group H and that's not easy.

With the looks of things, it seems shakhtar donest are going to secure an expected win tonight although I will like to commend them for their brilliance and with what they have done in terms of their discipline and it's also because that Barcelona has not been their selves tonight maybe because they underestimate shakhtar that's why their game play hasn't been at the very best but that been said I think Barcelona won't even get the obvious draw tonight because its the 90+ mins already and shakhtar are still looking head strong to secure the three points.

Barcelona is appearing more of a defensive side on this second half of the game, as they fail to be able to create chances but rather having a more tough defense against Shakhtar Donetsk probably because they will still qualify anyways, so a loss in this match wouldn't cause much harm.

Shakhtar Donetsk aswell seem to have a good defense but are playing an offensive attack as their confidence seem to be high as they are already leading by a goal so they are trying to defend their goal and at same time see if they could possibly secure another goal, Shakhtar Donetsk may possibly stand a chance to qualify if they happen to win against Barcelona tonight, as they will be up by three point thereby making them have Nine points, they will be three points ahead of Porto to stay at the second position on the table.

I think this will be a holiday match for Barcelona when they play against Shakhtar and indeed Shakhtar's lead with 1 goal could possibly last until the match is over if they keep their defense close. Barcelona really struggled and even though they had many opportunities, they failed to convert them into goals. Pedri also came on as a substitute in the 59th minute but it seems that after recovering from injury he still hasn't found his best performance. It is clear that this will be a loss for Barcelona if they lose and they fail to increase their points tally as the top of Group H. On the other hand, they will be more easily overtaken by Porto if today Porto can win decisively against Antwerp considering the goal difference is only 2.

The second half is better than the first half since they are making an effort to be in the game, unlike the first half, where they are all lost. Is it because they are playing away from home today? I think this is revenge for Arsenal  Huh

Dortmund is showing Newcastle United that they are an experienced team in the Champions League and will not afford losing matches against them that are just coming to the Champions League, and with the way this match is going, I think Dortmund will beat Newcastle United in this match again to make it a home and away defeat. If Newcastle lose this match, they have almost lost their chance of qualifying for the next round, and if they did not take their time, Milan will make an effort to try qualifying for the Europa League by finishing third.
Edin Terzic have beaten Eddie Howe twice in UCL this season, quite unfortunate to watch the competitive English team having no goal to celebrate in Signal Iduna Park, they will in next attempt to win games. It's 2 nil on the scoresheet and 82th minutes, Dortmund leading with confidence of securing three points against Newcastle United. Eddie Howe is frustrated at the moment because it seems his chances of quality to the next phase of UCL is compromised and there's absolutely nothing that will done to reciprocate back their form but settling for lesser results is the ultimate decision to take.

We’re getting to the business end of the group stage now. Every point is precious to teams trying to advance to the last 16.
UCL Group F is important to know the details. This is what I'm talking about, Borrusia Dortmund have grown to become elite and balance team against Newcastle United. All points accumulated matters for Dortmund and this night is there's to record an epic victory. Watching the game, Borrusia Dortmund are on a different level tonight, dominating every area of the pitch and leading 1 nil in 30th minutes of first half. I don't think the Magpies will be able to level the scores this first halve, enough crucial actions are trigger by Dortmund. Edin Terzic is keen on utilizing every opportunity he earn to push his team to significant positions.

Newcastle United needed to win against Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League tonight but they are already losing. If they can be able to get a draw match against Dortmund, then their hope of qualifying for the round of 16 will be revived. Newcastle United is playing a nice game and pressing forward against Dortmund to get a goal. Dortmund is using experience and home advantage to get a better understanding of the game. If Barcelona lose against Shakhtar and FC Porto wins against Antwerp, they will be leveled with Barcelona on equal points which could give Barcelona a hard time topping their UEFA Champions League group.

What is happening to Newcastle for real? It is like they aren't even on the pitch. Because they have been like a ghost against Dortmund for the whole first half. This helped Dortmund to get advantage by 1-0 also. Fullkrug hasn't been scoring for a few weeks until this match. But I wonder how the second half will be.

I hope to see Newcastle waking up from the dream they have been in. They lost to Dortmund home before with this score. I don't want to see a weak Newcastle here.

Back then at least they were able to fought back. If they collect themselves in the second half we can see a couple of goals too which would make this match more watchable.

Newcastle has one defeat in the last 12 matches in all tournaments. The club has played many matches in which they beat difficult opponents, including Manchester City and Arsenal. So Newcastle have found their game. But Borussia is more experienced, besides they have already beaten Newcastle in the Champions League recently. From the statistics we know that in the last 10 matches Dortmund won 6 times, 3 times played in a draw and once lost.

Bookmakers consider Borussia Dortmund as the favorite, but I can not determine the winner in this pair, so I think in this match will be a draw.

This is massive for Dortmund and devastating for Newcastle if Dortmund wins it. I am not sure what Dortmund would be hoping for for the game between PSG and AC Milan then, but if PSG wins it that would give Dortmund a 4 points advantage over Newcastle and a 5 points advantage over AC Milan. I think this would be good game for them and the group stage is 80% or it'll get really wild on the last matchdays.

Dortmund look sharp and refreshed despite the fact that they lost to Bayern Munich, but this game is one important game for both the home team (Dortmund) and Newcastle. The away team look weak and very slow like they don't know what's at stake. Newcastle need to wake up from the victory they got from Arsenal, this is business time and they have to wake up and make something happen in the second half or else they're losing this game.
I just hope they get an early goal to level the game up and I see this game ending in a draw.
In fact, there is no connection between domestic matches and the Champions League because the two competitions are different and also different opponents, while defeat in the Bundesliga does not affect Dortmund's performance and in the past they managed to beat Newcastle and I am sure that in this match, as the host, Dortmund will also be able to beat Newcastle. and seeing that Dortmund's defense in the second half was tighter and I hope the score will be 1-0 until the end of the match.

I fear the way Dortmund is playing even to the extent that Newcastle defense was bridged by Dortmund,  the way Dortmund is making paass, and coordinating their game and even the way they scored their first goal i was surprised it was a super goal, and Newcastle is still receiving pressure from Dortmund am still expecting more goals and one thing that surprises me is how Dortmund discards all Newcastles attempts to score, I see the strategy that Newcastle is trying to use they are shoot the ball from a far distance. I don't see Newcastle waking up from this dream. With the way this game is going Newcastle can not win Dortmund.

I hope Barcelona gets a come back by the second half of the game because they are actually playing well and leading with possession of the ball, but shakhtar has more attempts. It's a matter of experience and I believe borussia Dortmund is well experience team when it's comes to playing in the champions league and no matter how good a team is , when the experience is lacking, your opponent can use that as an advantage over you because the will always be one step ahead and I believe thats why Newcastle are finding it really difficult to overcome this Dortmund team.

In the dead group in the Champions League, the second leg is going to face PSG vs. AC Milan. AC Milan lost 3-0 at PSG in the first leg. AC Milan must win today's match to survive in the group stage. Milan have completed three matches in the group stage and they have not seen a win in a single one. Milan is in 4th place in the points table and Paris Saint-Germain is in 1st place. Can Milan win and can they take home advantage in today's match? Although PSG do not have much of an advantage in the enemy field, Milan are likely to win 2-1. Milan can score first. Mbappe has a chance to score a goal. This match is unlikely to be more than three. Anything is possible in football, it remains to be seen if Milan can come back against PSG in today's match.
Group F have very dangerous arrangements and I wonder why it was so and important matches coming up. PSG vs AC Milan is going to be one hell of game  and a very difficult one to predict. Because even from the odds you will know. AC Milan given 2.9 odd and PSG given 2.3 odd and draw 3.6 odd and I have a feeling of either PSG winning or they draw the game. Both of them are strong, the first leg is the one given me feeling that they might end draw. The chances of Milan winning is small and PSG won't don't joke with any of their games, Mbappe will score to just love that boy. And another game is Dortmund vs Newcastle smiling at this game too i just love this group the games are full of entertainment.
The match is going to favour AC Milan more than PSG and that for sure will show how the AC Milan team are prepared to take PSG to a whole new level,  even with many surprises in the game so let's see how the 90 minutes will play out and to see if the AC Milan guys really will create a record for themselves in tonight game.

Sometimes,  I don't follow the odds but then I will wait for the matches to start to bet on live matches so that I can have a better chance in the game.

This group is the strongest and most competitive in the champion league group stage this year. Dortmund will play Newcastle, while AC Milan and PSG will rematch. Dortmund defeated Newcastle in their first group stage meeting, and they are currently leading 1-0 at the half. Dortmund wants to win the champion league this season and they don't want to make a mistake by not moving on to the next round. Newcastle is a formidable team that can also try to win this season, so let's wait and see who wins. As for PSG and AC Milan, I believe that Ac Milan will be able to defeat PSG because PSG will be visiting Ac Milan.

Ac Milan is also very strong when it comes to playing at home. I just hope PSG plays well today; if not, they won't like how Ac Milan beats them there. PSG defeated Ac Milan 3-0 in their opening game. I believe this is because PSG has the advantage of playing at home, and today will show whether or not PSG is capable of defeating Ac Milan at home.
