I agree, but draws can sometimes make a difference. When Real Madrid meets Manchester City in the quarterfinals, it's obviously set in stone that one team that was considered a favorite has to leave. Nobody talks about PSV vs. Dortmund when one team has to leave as it doesn't matter and it was to be expected that they wouldn't get that far.

But frankly, Dortmund did by no means have easy opponents. Atletico Madrid kicked out Inter Milan! PSG was a pretty strong opponent and it took Dortmund all to go through. Anything else would have been a shocker anyway.

PSG has never been really bad in the Champions League as far as I can remember. Maybe once or twice or so, but in general the games they lost were either extremely unlucky, or it was very very close.

But in the final Real Madrid already knows that they will be up against a strong team that now knows they can beat anyone.

But, they definitely reached into final by luck, they do gives effort, it just their effort isn't really that big than other teams.

Dortmund's opponents: PSV, Atletico Madrid and PSG. All of them aren't that strong especially PSV. If Dortmund was beat either of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Manchester City, I'm sure people will think Dortmund is way more stronger, not by luck.

To prove to everyone if they're really strong not just by luck, they need to beat Real Madrid.

Yesterday on this thread, j said that there's no way a team can get to the final of the UEFA Champions League competition by luck because for you to reach the final, you must have played six games games in the group stage which includes three home games and three away games before playing in a two-legged knockout stage tie in three different knockout stages of the competition to be able to reach the final so there's no way a team will win all 12 games that's spread across five months by mere luck.
Borussia Dortmund got to the final of the UEFA Champions League competition because they really worked hard for it and even faced other big clubs in the competition that were also very keen to reach the final. They must be given the respect every team that's playing in the final of the UEFA Champions League competition deserves Instead of saying that they achieved everything they did achieve this season in the UEFA Champions League by luck.

For a team to qualify for the final, of course it requires a hard fight and those who qualify for the final are of course the best team. Regarding Real Madrid and Dortmund, of course they deserve all this, namely advancing to the UCL final. Real Madrid's performance is very good and currently they are the best team in La Liga and their players are also very great. For Borussia Dortmund to play in the UEFA Champions League finals with Real Madrid means Borussia Dortmund can pull out a surprise result that day. But there are clubs one should not meet in the UEFA Champions League, and Real Madrid is among them. Even if Borussia Dortmund plays better than Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid will edge Borussia Dortmund to win the UEFA Champions League trophy.

Dortmnud must have accomplished it caused by real madrid is having so many advantages over dortmund, these advantages are best wingers in the world. How the hell is Dortmund going to play offensively against Real Madrid? it sounds like a suicide strategy for terzic's club. Consider the comparison between Real Madrid and Dortmund. I would prefer to see Terzic's squad use a low block strategy to prevent any attacks from Real Madrid. Bayern demonstrated how playing defensively almost helped them win against Madrid in the second leg.
Things changed so quickly when Neuer made a simple mistake by missing the ball after attempting to block it. There is no better option than to play low block against Madrid. This opens up the possibility of Dortmund winning the UCL this season.



Dortmund will be trying to fully prepare against madrid. This is the final match and they must have used everything they have to be performed in the final game against real madrid.

Anceloti is a coach with a very strong a d tough winning mentality such that even a draw seems not acceptable to him, in their domestic league, except for few losses I believe they would have kept an unbeaten record if they had wanted to in this season but then they have mainly chased after the trophy and that seem to be their drive such that the fee losses they had along the way didn't stop them from winning the la Liga trophy.

The times they even suffered a loss in their domestic league were times they were preparing for the champions league which made them rest some players but since after they got a good a d firm stand in the champions league the seem not to have suffered a single loss in their domestic league and even back in the champions league they had suffered a loss only one or twice so their champions league strength is such that can't be overly emphasized because it's obvious with their results and performance so far but then it's not enough to think it will be an easy one against Dortmund.

I know for sure Anceloti will not undermine the possibility of Dortmund been able to surprise them just the way they took everyone by surprise till they got to this point because they would have taught that the finals would have been against a top team who's regular to the champions league but before them is a surprise and a clear indication they have to take them serious if not the biggest surprise of the season may actually get to be unraveled.

I really appreciate Dortmund's journey in the champions league this season which started from the group of death to going through another difficult round until finally having to meet PSG once again in the semifinals and they were able to get rid of the French team. I didn't expect Dortmund to have an amazing mentality here and indeed they are not a team to be underestimated.

Real Madrid will have to work extra if they want to lock in their 15th title and Dortmund certainly knows that it will not be an easy job to face the king of Europe. Even if Dortmund can score first, there will always be hope created by the bigger Real Madrid and therefore Dortmund cannot afford to be careless even if they are ahead by one or two goals. I think that's all and indeed everyone wants to see Dortmund win this title as well as farewell to Marco Reus who will leave Dortmund at the end of the season. So we'll see what happens next and hope that both teams can play optimally.

I am not in support of any of these two clubs but what I know is that the best currently between two of them will definitely win the league, because it is not about how many clubs that you eliminated to reach the finals, but it is about who you are playing with in the finals. Dortmund needs to show the world that they deserve to become Europe champions this season if they can only know how to win Real Madrid.

On the other hand, Real Madrid has been the league favorite and they are not new to champions league finals because they have won it several times. This is why I know that they have the confidence and know the worth of winning this competition, so I believe that they are already prepared for the worst case scenario that Dortmund will bring to them.

Yes, that's right, that's why no one should be underestimated, one of them is because both of them are equally strong, that's why this final will be an interesting match, we could see Madrid win their 15th UCL title or see Dortmund win the UCL title by surprising many people, Skills will definitely be used by all players, but it all comes back to luck because without it you will definitely fail and experience defeat, you don't know who will be lucky, but both of them will definitely show their best game.

I don't want to underestimate Dortmund's strength because they always surprise their opponents, but maybe many people are favorites for Madrid to win this final match. It is very likely that Dortmund will apply a defensive game in the final match and I think that is natural because the quality of the Dortmund team is not better than Real Madrid so they have to do this as they did in the semifinals against PSG.

It would be too much to say it was a miracle for Dortmund to be able to beat Real Madrid in the final match of the Champions League this season because the final match will be slightly different so that the two teams have a percentage that is not much different to win the match even though one team has stronger strength.

Real Madrid excels in finals. Nobody. They're competitive and thrive under pressure. It's no coincidence that they've won the most Champions League titles. Yes, 80% is a solid start, but Real Madrid is a machine. They'll win. Trust me.

So far, Dortmund was lucky to be in the final match because even the fans of this team couldn't predict to see their team in this situation and they knew Real Madrid would be a much harder team to stand against them. I guess the only it can help Dortmund to stand against Real Madrid is a miracle. Otherwise, the chance for Real Madrid to win the ChmpainosLeague this season is much higher than a team like Dortmund.
I think based on the last games we saw from Dortmund, they will try to play defensively and focus on counter-attacks against Real Madrid.
 

And if you consider that Dortmund will most likely play on the defensive again, as they did in the semi-finals, then it may well be that this could happen again. And I don’t think that Real will attack from the very beginning of the match, in the final the cost of a mistake is very high, and if Dortmund can score first then they will be tightly closed in defense.

But if we evaluate the current strength of the opponents, then I would say that Real is much stronger now, and perhaps to some extent they were lucky with their opponent in the final. Although they made it through both City and Bayern to the finals, perhaps the most difficult thing that was on their way they had already overcome. Also I think theor unique strength is what’s going to make the final one lively one and you can say them showcasing more of their strengths is going to be the main decider. For Dortmund their run up to this final has been really impressive and they’ve shown how strong they’re as a team and able to overcome all obstacles. Real Madrid ok the other end are the big boys of Europe and as suc, you can expect massive experience from them in this match.

 ⁠One major point that will be checked while we discuss and make more validation ok the stand that Real Madrid will sure win this Dortmund side is on past experiences. Checking out past meetings between these two, you’ll see that Real Madrid have been the better winners in the fixture between these two and I think taking that to the final will be a big boost for Real Madrid players as they approach this final. They have a fierce squad that can read games and can adapt to any kind of playing style and if they can overcome likes of Man City and Bayern Munich then obviously this should be one easy nut to crack for them. Dortmund on the other hand have been winless against Real Madrid and I don’t think they will be breaking that with this match rather that’s a boost for Real Madrid.

So you see the advantages Real Madrid team have over this Dortmund team. ⁠It will be an exciting final and in as much as the talks of unpredictable nature of football comes in, you can’t take away the fact that Real Madrid have their hands about 80% on the trophy as against this Dortmund side.

If you look at it in terms of performance, of course these two teams have a good performance, but perhaps Real Madrid's performance cannot be hidden, especially with Ancelotti, who has undoubtedly coached a team that provides quite effective tactics, including later against Dortmund. Of course Ancelotti will provide training that might surprise Dortmund.
