Champions League tournaments are usually organized with the top teams of Europe, so there is no doubt that Champions League tournaments are much tougher than other tournaments. But for Real Madrid, the Champions League next season would have been very difficult if other teams had strengthened their squads as much as Real Madrid. Every season we see that the most competitive teams in the Champions League are teams like Manchester City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan. You try to match Real Madrid with these teams and you can easily find the difference between Real Madrid and these teams. Real Madrid will be the favorite team next season. They have lacked a quality finisher this season, but since they won the Champions League title, they will be an even more formidable team next season.
The Champions League always positions itself as a competition that many people look forward to, because the teams here are big teams who have good performances too. So the level of competition here is much more competitive because it is filled with giant teams from their respective countries. It is not easy for any team to compete in a tight competition like this. However, there are always favorite names that appear.

Real Madrid, Manchester City are one example. With the strength they have from the composition of players in the squad, they are believed to be a team that has a high percentage of chances of winning the title. Moreover, a team like Real Madrid is the one who wins the most, and every season they are the favorites to win the championship.

Even the teams that are considered dark horses here are also good teams in their domestic leagues, so all teams have to be wary of every opponent they face.

In the Champions League, it is hard to predict what will happen in general. First of all, there is a reason why those teams are playing in the Champions League. They are the best team in. That's why they are able to play in the Champions League competition in the first place. So of course every team is going to have to be careful while playing in the Champions League competition. Even Real Madrid and Manchester City.

Another thing is that the Champions League competition is probably the world‘s biggest club competition ever in any sport. so it is a prestigious title to earn. That's why every team gives a special commitment to win the Champions League competition. That is also a reason why we sometimes see accidents happen, or should I say surprises  Wink?
The champion league is where the best clubs from Europe comes to display their skills and show to the world that they are the best and that is where players also make their names. It is not a competition that if you are not in form you will survive.

This is why you see that only big and strong clubs at that moment are winning it. Real Madrid happens to understand this and that is why every season they make sure that they are strong enough to win it by signing new players always to improve the team performance.

Of course, that assumption is correct. I agree that Real Madrid is very difficult to beat when they qualify for the final, in fact Real Madrid's final record is still very good since they last lost in the 1980-1981 season. Real Madrid lost to Liverpool at that time with a score of 1-0 thanks to a goal from Alan Kennedy. This is history, but since then Real Madrid have never failed to win the Champions League title every time they have qualified for the final. In total Real Madrid has won 9 titles in the last 9 finals in the Champions League, which is truly incredible regarding their record.
It is not assumption, it is the fact. It is true that Real Madrid always won in their last 9 UCL finals. Although there is no guarantee that Real Madrid will always win the next final matches, but they already prove it for years that they are very superior in the UCL finals. I think it is because Real Madrid knows how to build a strong mentality among the players. So, when they are in a crucial match like the final UCL, they still can play calmly and never lose focus on the match.

So I agree with you that, if a team wants to thwart Real Madrid's efforts in the Champions League, then they have to do it from the knockout stages including in the last 16, quarter-finals or semifinals. It's hard to expect Real Madrid's final record to be broken, but it's not impossible in the future.
Guardiola ever stated "any team wants to win UCL, they must beat Real Madrid". It is clear that Real Madrid will be always an obstacle of each team that dreams for the UCL trophy. Even Guardiola admits it, he understands that Real Madrid is the most superior team in UCL. However, to beat Real Madrid, it shouldn't be in the final round. Yes, it can be in round 16, quarter final, or semi-final. But it is just in theory, I guess someday there will be a team that can beat Real Madrid in the UCL final.

This is Real Madrid unbeaten records in last 9 UCL finals

Real Madrid is elite team, they fight harder than any other oppositions and they grab every amount to push forward and obtaining crucial winning in major tournaments. Borrusia Dortmund is an elite club, everyone knows about the club's status because the management have slide into selling their key players for generating huge profits, they no longer work harder towards winning titles, it have become a routine for the club. We've come to understand that Dortmund don't fight for titles but for recognition which is their current happening.
Dortmund after monitoring them for several years, I can now conclude that they are not after title, they are only after money which is the main reason why they always sell off any player that will give them profit without consideration of their fans reaction.

The final of the Champions League was played well, and Dortmund couldn’t win because of the several chances they missed in the match, but I am impressed with their performance because no wine expected them to reach the finals. How I wish it was Manchester City or Bayern, the final would have been more tougher than expected.
I've even said this from the start, that Borussia Dortmund prioritizes profits over achievements and that can be seen from what they have done over the years. Luckily they have royal supporters at this club, even though they feel very disappointed because they can't celebrate the title, they are still loyal to continue supporting their favorite club.

I hope last season will be a turning point where they will start to focus on achievements. With Leverkusen's success in becoming Bundesliga champions, this should be a spur for them to prioritize their achievements. I have said from the start that if they are serious about pursuing achievement, then they will be able to do it. They have an advantage in looking for young talent, and they can actually maximize this to win a title. At least they are serious and focused on chasing the Bundesliga title.

Last season's Champions League should also be a motivation for them, because they could actually reach the final, in other words they have great potential to get that.

Yes, I also thought that Dortmund is a team that seems more focused on making money than getting trophies in important competitions, especially in the domestic league. Many Dortmund players have become stars in other teams, even many former Dortmund players are in elite teams like Manchester. City, Madrid and other great teams, so it's not strange for me, even though they failed in the UCL yesterday, of course it doesn't hurt them because their struggle to reach the final even though they didn't become champions, their players will be looked at by other teams who might buy Dortmund players at this time .

So this is a business where Dortmund can see the potential of young players who are good and well educated in this team until they become very good and then can be sold for a high price because they have quite good potential, but this is my wild thought, it doesn't mean what I think considered correct, because I could be wrong, Dortmund are just not ready to become champions and their mentality doesn't seem to exist as champions, in fact they are more focused on selling talented players in their squad, let's see in the coming new season whether they can reach the final again, the process them reaching the UCL final yesterday was actually almost completely lucky.  Grin

Fact that everyone must remember and accept is that Dortmund has managed to reach the UCL final several times but always failed and only finished runner-up, but that way, even though there is no title, Dortmund can still get large amounts of money from UCL competition.
If they don't chase title then they have achieved their goal, namely making money, but I think title is the biggest achievement that all team without exception want.
Player sales are also characteristic of Dortmund, they create good players and can show above average skills to increase the selling price, I think things like this are also the reason why Dortmund cannot become team with winning mentality.

An impressive match for Dortmund was in the semifinals, they were very good at playing and really put pressure on PSG, even several good opportunities for PSG also failed to produce an advantage.
But after all, their opponent in the final was Real Madrid and it was very difficult to beat Real Madrid in the final match, even against Bayern Munich, Dortmund failed in the UCL final match that brought them together.

now it's the rest of the world against real.madrid I'm really happy that teams like Borussia or let's say smaller teams reach the Champions League final also because wisdom always becomes the same and the gap gets bigger and bigger, I also supported Dortmund but it wasn't enough

Definitely and most the rest of the world against Real Madrid, the way whole thing now is really pissing me off because you cant just get to hear another  thing except for the fact that Real Madrid is the most complete team as of Europe is concerned and the whole opinion of them actually winning back the champions league again is what is getting on me because if they actually do it again then that whole competition flare of the whole tournament would be dragged down atleast for some change let a minor team win that trophy for once.

The last time Dortmund reached the final of the UCL was more than ten years ago. Dortmund was returning but failed to acquire the trophy because Real Madrid had stopped them from doing it last season. Dortmund was not fortunate to have Madrid as their opponent.
We know how big the gap is between Madrid and Dortmund. I was rooting for Madrid, and they have won the UCL 15 times. The quality of the players says it all.

But again, I wouldn't describe Dortmund as a small team. Though not as popular as Madrid, Dortmund's name was quite well known.

Recalling Dortmund's performance in the Champions League yesterday is like digging deep disappointment for the fans after their enthusiasm went through all the obstacles until they finally managed to finish in the final round but had to fall and be defeated by Real Madrid, who is the strongest club and has never failed in the final round.

In my opinion, Dortmund's mistake at that time was simply failing to realize that Real Madrid would make a bigger attack in the second half and former Dortmund coach Edin Terzic should have known this because Real Madrid had done this several times, such as when they beat Bayern Munich with the same strategy to score was bigger in the second half.

It doesn't matter for Dortmund even though they failed in the final round, but this is an experience for this club to learn lessons and maybe get better results in the next season after bringing in Sehrou Guirassy.

Unfortunately they are not mentally prepared when facing Real Madrid so the match will end as most people predict. For me what was quite surprising was the previous final between Inter Milan and Man City because it was difficult to predict. Beating Real Madrid in the final is very difficult so if the opponent they face does not have the mentality and experience it will be very unbalanced.

If you want to beat Real Madrid maybe not in the final but in the quarterfinals or semifinals like Man City did before. Real Madrid will be even more dangerous when they reach the final and their chances of winning are very big.

I think it will take at least 1.5 decades for their record to be broken or even more. What Real Madrid managed to achieve is something legendary and that's why no other team will come close soon to actually have a chance to dethrone them.

I also don't think Real Madrid will win UCL in the next 4-5 years because even if they have Mbappe , that doesn't mean they will automatically win again. ( remember when Real had galacticos back in 2003-2008 ? and they never even reached an UCL final ? well that thing seems to repeat with this current team Real is building ).

Just as the name implies champions League is the most difficult league among every other leagues because is the assemble of the strongest clubs in the world to battle on who will win the trophy but in most cases there are several teams who has remained the most favoured but it seems that the quest for the trophy between all the teams are very strong next season, so I'm confident that unlike most of the previous champions League next season champions League will be a remarkable one because there are clubs who has not been on champions League for some time so coming to the champions League next season they will never take it for granted, though it would actually be more interesting if any smaller clubs will become the champions winner because it will make the league more interesting.

Honestly I really wanted Dortmund to have the trophy again after all these years as it's been really a long time since they last had the champions league trophy. I knew Madrid had more Chance of winning the trophy than Dortmund does but I still wanted something really different from the usual, it's been Madrid having it all these years and it would have been really beautiful and interesting to have another team win it for the first time after a very long time.

Getting to the champions league finals alone is enough reason not to see Dortmund as been small for any reason, even if they didn't get to win the champions league, getting pass all the hurdles to the finals is more than enough reason to see them as been big because there were other teams who where considered bigger a d experienced who still didn't make it to the finals , some couldn't go beyond the round of sixteen but getting to the finals was the peak of the champions league and Dortmund did made it to that point which is deserving of every applaud.

Hopefully in the next season they could attempt it again having been able to get this far, they can say that have been able gather more experience in the champions league than they have had before and are now more experienced to face the champions league having more confidence and determination but Interestingly Madrid keeps getting better so chances are if they meet again, Madrid may still repeat history.

A thing sounds really interesting to me in the Champions League. You know how much Premier League teams are strong normally. The league itself is called as the most prestigious European league.  Smiley

However they are having quite much difficulties in even reaching the finale mostly. I know there are 3 title winners from the Premier League in last 6 years but I mean the general look. We don't see the domestic success in the same way as for the Champions League.

The Premier League is getting all the attention and a lot of money is pouring. Teams are paid an insane sum every year but general success rate in the Champions League isn't at great level.  Sad
English teams have always been many favorites in the Champions League but it is a little strange that some teams that are great in their domestic league still struggle to reach the semi-finals or the more difficult finals, is it perhaps because they are still not mentally strong?

Last season many were convinced that Manchester City would win the Champions League the season before even predicted to beat Real Madrid, the reality is not so they struggled especially Arsenal who were unable to last longer the game is a little different when the Champions League and Premier League.

Don't ask about high player purchases and some large player salaries, the Premier League always attracts the attention of many people, so this league is increasingly in the spotlight.
Next season how far the English team will go as the new format of the Champions League has now changed.

Isak is a great striker, I think he would definitely be great for Arsenal, they are going to need some help up front. People always talk about how a team has this position locked or that position great, but you always need more players in positions so that you could have alternatives, and you could always plan for the future as well.

I know that it is not going to end up being all that crazy, we should just consider that Isak would be first option, and Jesus would probably play around him, and sub from the bench during the games as well. That way nobody gets too tired, it would benefit them and it would also mean that the yare going to be able to provide some good competition in all three different places that they will play.
Real Madrid will be the strongest team for the Champions League next season. Bayan munich has a lot of problems, they won't be able to do so well at least in the Champions League with these problems. Manchester City lost many players last season on the contrary they didn't buy any significant players so if they don't buy players this season they won't do very well in the Champions League tournament. Real Madrid's XI was weak last season but this season their XI is absolutely clean. Real Madrid has good quality players in every position in the team now, so I can definitely say in advance that they will do well in the Champions League tournament next season.

Real Madrid will dominate the Champions League next season, but Manchester City are very good and will do everything they can to stop Real Madrid because Guadiola will do anything to keep Madrid out of the competition, and only Manchester City can stop Real Madrid next season because I don't see any club that can challenge Madrid next season. Arsenal and Manchester City were the toughest clubs in the Premier League last season, but both failed to reach the semi-finals. Let see how the competition you go next time. you are right Bayern Munich has many troubles since they fail to win their league competition and give up, while Leverkusen seizes the opportunity and wins the title. And now there will play the Champions League next season let see if they can perform in the competition with the tough clubs.

At the beginning of the Champions League competition last season, Dortmund was not among the favorite teams to reach the final due to their performances. However, toward the end of the competition, when I later saw Dortmund performances, I also predicted that it might be possible for them to reach the final. Dortmund's performances in the Champions League last season really surprised me because they were not in great form in their domestic league and other competitions. In the final match, if Dortmund had had some more experienced players, it might have been harder for Real Madrid to beat them.

As for now, I can't really say whether Arsenal will reach the final stage of the Champions League or not because the season has not yet started. However, based on their last season's performance, I am expecting Arsenal to perform well in next season's Champions League. But let's see what will really happen.

now it's the rest of the world against real.madrid I'm really happy that teams like Borussia or let's say smaller teams reach the Champions League final also because wisdom always becomes the same and the gap gets bigger and bigger, I also supported Dortmund but it wasn't enough

It was clear and obvious that Borussia Dortmund are not going to win the champions league finals against Real Madrid. A lot supported Dortmund not because they can win it, but to also give them a chance to have a test of the champions league trophy. It was not an easy ride for them to make it to the finals of the champions league and if their effort was paid off by winning the champions league trophy, it’ll be the most joyous day in the clubs history. There were other supporting Dortmund because of their rivalry with Real Madrid as their enemy club, but in this case, you’d better face your enemy yourself than allowing a lower more competitive team to face them than you can also beat when you both meet. Real Madrid’s dominance was very higher than that of Dortmund’s, and it’s a prove that they are the better team and not just the team than an face them and win against them.

Last season,I made a prediction that Dortmund will teach the UEFA champions league final, and even if they weren't able to win it from Madrid,to me,they really tried their best.
And if not for the chances they missed, they were going to win that cup. They played Madrid to the extent I was really surprised,I never expected such from them, but the chances they missed made them lose the chance of lifting the Champions league trophy.
Next season,I am going for Arsenal to reach that level, with the way they are growing and being consistent,I am confident they can reach the finals of the competition.
Dortmund tried their best but they miss a lot of chances in the final due to lack of experience, and Real Madrid with their Champions League experience make use of their chances well to win the title for the fifth time.

Arsenal next season?
Well, with the their performance in the previous seasons, if they sign more players they can do that, but remember that we have Manchester City,  Leverkusen, Bayern, and other teams that can also make it to the final.
I am not condemning Arsenal, I know they will try, but let’s wait and see how it goes.
