In champions league, looking down on any team is the biggest mistake you can ever make as a team. Everyone has some kind of potentials in them that has brought them that far to make it to the competition. Just a slight mistake can make you lose against them and that cannot be undone when already happened. The biggest teams base on their most recent performance are Real Madrid and Manchester City.

In the just concluded season, before the match will come to an end, only Manchester City and Real Madrid are the two most favorites team to win the competition and after the elimination of one of them, it was very clear that the other team will win the title and that is exactly what happened in the concluded season.

Every team coming to the champions league next season will be at their best and will fight to become victorious in their respective matches but only the best will win and qualify to the next round of the competition. Waiting to see a more intriguing season coming to us in the champions league next season.

I don't agree with you that Liverpool is not capable of performing in the champions league next season because among all England teams, Liverpool has the highest champions league record because they have won it 6 times while the second club from England which is Manchester united has won the champions league 3 times, Chelsea and Nottingham Forest won 2 times each, Manchester city has just one champions league title alongside Aston Villa that has also gotten one champions league trophy so this is to show that Liverpool still remains the highest team from England that has won the champions league.

Sure Liverpool will struggle to perform without Jurgen Klopp who have managed the team to a good standard within his coaching career with the club even though he didn't achieve many trophies but let us not forget that Liverpool have great talented players so they can perform better than they did last season even though they were not in the champions league last season but for the fact that they made it next season mean they will devote their time to make things work out well for them.

Let me give you a hint that it is not a matter of luck but the lack of ability to play against better teams. They can defeat weak PL teams with 5-6 goals and then lose to a stronger team. Every team must try to play with their best but Champions League is a very tough tournament and in this tournament if good quality players cannot be formed in the team then competition with other teams can't benefit. Arsenal have quality players but a clear weakness in their finishing positions. Their defense should be a little stronger in addition to the finishing position being a little stronger. If they can do well in these two positions, they will have a good chance of doing well in the Champions League next season.

Liverpool new coach, Arne Slot will do his best but he will never replaced the void left open by the former headcoach, Jurgen Klopp. Liverpool will give him a chance to do his best and we know it's definitely going to be hard for him, it also involves their participation in the UEFA Champions League, definitely a struggle. Perhaps, you meant to mention Manchester united and not Manchester city. Right now, Manchester city is the most rated team after Real madrid as the best teams in the world of football. It's insulting to say Manchester city can not compete with teams like Leverkusen who just came to limelight yesterday. I'm much aware that each team participating in champions league is well prepared and can not be underrate but even Xabi himself can not rate his squad ahead of Pep squad. I'm not against hyping a team but we should do it with respect where necessary.

To be honest, this is the first time to see someone who call city unable to compete with a team like Leverkusen; however, he should watch the highlight from Leverkusen's game versus Atalanta. It appears that he is still trapped in Leverkusen's invincible triumph in the Bundesliga. Also, I believe he never saw the match between City and Real Madrid.
There is no doubt that he has degraded Manchester City's standard to that of Leverkusen or Atalanta.

Well, I rated City on par with Real Madrid, and I believe any team is capable of competing for the UCL trophy. Although there is a difference between large and small clubs, in the end, any team has its own potential to play in the UCL.

I'm quite disappointed with what @AYOBA said, who dare compare Leverkusen to Manchester City. No drag, Leverkusen are good in terms of performance and quality but majorly on their leagues, it will be even weird comparing them to some Premier league teams, if they should be able to play in the Premier league I doubt if they would go that long unbeaten. Leverkusen still has a broad way to go when we talk about current clubs with better potential, even while day dreaming it is impossible to rank City together with Leverkusen. Leverkusen qualified for the Champions league, we see what they have to offer and how far they can go

With the current performance of both clubs and the players in these two clubs, Manchester City is far better than Leverkusen because Bayern Munich have being dominating Bundesliga ever since. It is just last season that Leverkusen was able to pull Munich down. Although, it was a good history that they made last season.

Manchester City is king of England and won the title four consecutive years. If we are comparing clubs with City, it should be Real Madrid because they are the only two rivals in champions league. Let's see how far Leverkusen will go next season in UCL.
