It really doesn't make sense to compare Manchester City with Leverkusen and we will only be able to judge it when next season's Champions League rolls around. Leverkusen is a magical one-season team that didn't even find its best level in the final round and that changed most people's perception that they couldn't be compared to the elite Champions League teams. Even so, this is still a big competition and after all, Manchester City is still the favorite to win among other great teams. It's all because they have a great coach with a legacy and also a squad depth that is very difficult to stop.

Apart from that, even though Manchester City is very important in this competition, when they face Real Madrid the situation will change 100% where a top team like Manchester City will be discouraged when facing Real Madrid. Manchester City always loses in terms of mentality against Real Madrid and that is why the matches between these two teams are always historic.

I'm quite disappointed with what @AYOBA said, who dare compare Leverkusen to Manchester City. No drag, Leverkusen are good in terms of performance and quality but majorly on their leagues, it will be even weird comparing them to some Premier league teams, if they should be able to play in the Premier league I doubt if they would go that long unbeaten. Leverkusen still has a broad way to go when we talk about current clubs  with better potential, even while day dreaming it is impossible to rank City together with Leverkusen.  Leverkusen qualified for the Champions league, we see what they have to offer and how far they can go

To be honest, this is the first time to see someone who call city unable to compete with a team like Leverkusen; however, he should watch the highlight from Leverkusen's game versus Atalanta. It appears that he is still trapped in Leverkusen's invincible triumph in the Bundesliga. Also, I believe he never saw the match between City and Real Madrid.
There is no doubt that he has degraded Manchester City's standard to that of Leverkusen or Atalanta.

Well, I rated City on par with Real Madrid, and I believe any team is capable of competing for the UCL trophy. Although there is a difference between large and small clubs, in the end, any team has its own potential to play in the UCL.

This season Champions League certainly brings us a lot of surprises, strong and favorite teams actually have to be eliminated faster in the Champions League this season and Madrid is the only team that is indeed able to survive to the final and win the championship trophy, talking about Arsenal of course many of us have quite high expectations for them this season,  Arsenal this season has experienced a significant improvement in their performance in the Premier League, but they are still like a team that does not have a winning mentality when it comes to playing in the Champions League, in my opinion for the Champions League, Arsenal is still not ready to compete because this season when Bayern Munich is in very poor form, but it is Arsenal who are in on fire still unable to beat Bayern Munich.

Next season we will see more surprise teams qualifiy to competing in the Champions League, Leverkusen is certainly the team that may be the team that makes us most curious about how their performance next season in the Champions League after this season has been quite fantastic, I hope that the surprise team that plays in the Champions League next season will be able to bring back surprises by making it difficult for big teams including madrid.

The upcoming champions league is becoming more interesting because of the increase in participants and several new clubs appearing in the champions league which gives a very interesting impression but big clubs such as Manchester City and Real Madrid will have to spend more energy because the match schedule will definitely be busier even though all clubs will improve performance but this will be a worry because a club like Leverkusen could be a surprise.

I understand how Liverpool is at the moment even without Klopp but this club deserves to try to get good results with its new coach.

For Arsenal, it is still the same as last season, whose ambition is to pursue the champions league title but will also lose the premier league title because getting the champions league and premier league titles will be a tough task and they must be truly consistent in maintaining the performance of Arsenal players.

I assume you intend to write dominate and auto correct probably change it to eliminate. By the way, it's visible to the blind how Leverkusen performed wonders this season with their unbeaten records and winning Bundesliga title for the first time in the history of their team but I think we are taking the hyping too much by attempting to compare them with world class teams in champions league. A single season form is not enough reason to make such comparison.


Perhaps, you meant to mention Manchester united and not Manchester city. Right now, Manchester city is the most rated team after Real madrid as the best teams in the world of football. It's insulting to say Manchester city can not compete with teams like Leverkusen who just came to limelight yesterday. I'm much aware that each team participating in champions league is well prepared and can not be underrate but even Xabi himself can not rate his squad ahead of Pep squad. I'm not against hyping a team but we should do it with respect where necessary.

if you critically analyse what's going on in both EPL and champions league, it's almost as though everything is working for the favour of real Madrid and Manchester City cause at the moment, they are the most prepared team to win champions league and the EPL. Liverpool to my opinion isn't close to dream of winning the champions league and with a new coach that's going to take care of the team from the coming season, we aren't sure what he will be bringing to the table and we are not certain wether or not he will have what it takes to bring out the best in the players.

Most likely, Liverpool will struggle more this season compared to last season and if they don't tighten there seat belt, it's possible that they wouldn't get to top four on the premier league table. For the EPL, Arsenal and Manchester City are the teams that will bring the heat to the champions league and it would have been easier for An EPL team to dream of winning the champions league hard it been that real Madrid doesn't have anceloti and incredible players all choked up in his team and not ready to drift away anytime soon. At the end of ty day, it's likely going to be a question of real Madrid vs any team that is able to fight his way to the finals iether from the EPL or any other league.

Vinicius Junior is one of the best players that Real Madrid has. He has repeatedly delivered wins for Real Madrid, including the Champions League. He has made the most contribution to his club as evidenced by the many goals and assists he created during the Champions League tournament last season. is a player who has a strong mentality when playing in the Champions League, therefore he is quite skilled in carrying out his actions but this cannot be separated from the skill of the coach who has taken care of him all this time at Real Madrid. I think that even though Mbappe is at Real Madrid, Vinicius Jr will not feel rivaled.

Mbappe's presence will help Real Madrid's attack line become stronger and Vinicius will return to his original position as a winger. Regarding Vinicius Jr's performance, will Vinicius Jr still shine? I think Vinicius will continue to shine at Real Madrid because he has found a suitable place there and will not let his performance weaken because he has a strong mentality and cannot be selfish and feel that they are the greatest, each player has been prepared in their respective positions with their own abilities so that selfishness does not make a boomerang for the Real Madrid club.

Just by looking out the clubs we have already gotten an insight of how next season champions League will look like and the clubs that has a very higher chance of winning  and also in the case of Liverpool I would say that they should just focus on the premier League for now because with what they did on this finished season I don't think they will survive on the champions League and also they are still going to go through a little declining in performance as there coach Klopp will no longer be with them next season, so getting use to the new coach will certainly take some time and also Arsenal on the other hand should also focus on the premier League more because that's were they have the higher chance on, however in terms of real Madrid they have already equipped themselves and they are ready for the champions League.

I say that instead many emerging teams can really put such renowned teams in difficulty even in the groups and not necessarily in matches such as quarterfinals or round of 16, they can be surprised right away and can put teams in difficulty right away, so many of these clubs like Real Madrid they could stumble straight away by meeting these teams like Leverkusen or Atalanta, however I continue to say that in the next few years there will be a return of Italian teams, many are doing well and many can compete for Europe, just think that Juventus is returning and this time they are really aggressive

I don't think that's what he implied. A strong team losing to an average or weaker team is not a surprise in a competition as competitive as the Champions League, just that there are more surprise results last season. But yeah, whoever wins the league is the strongest one in that competition, whether they are lucky with the drawing or not. You can't completely ignore it though. On the other hand, as long as the team believes they can improve, they should be able to win it again. History shows how many clubs failed to win 2 times in a row, so overconfidence must be avoided.

Before starting the new season, all teams will try to build new strengths to improve their performance in order to increase competition in each competition. Elite teams that fail to meet expectations will spend a lot of money to recruit top players to achieve their desired goals. The Champions League has a very high competitive level because the participants are attended by elite teams in Europe.

Based on your opinion, Real Madrid is not strong teams in Champion League and success become the winner? I don't think true about many top teams loss and left with weakness teams but success qualified until Champion League final round after Dortmund and Real Madrid as the most stronger teams.
For next season, usually team with mentality winning such as Real Madrid has bigger opportunity for winning Champion League and their habit get three consecutive winning after did last several years ago.

The new teams participants such as Bayern Leverkusen or the Europe League winner Atalanta can't guarantee will success in Champion League, although they had impressive performance last season but Champion League has own difficulty since phase group after adopting new format until knock out or semifinal round phase.

Last season, we saw many strong teams lose to normal teams in the Champions League. However, this season, Real Madrid won the championship because no team could beat them due to their strength. Of course the next season is going to be more interesting and exciting because Arsenal failed this season but next season they will definitely try harder to win the championship. Arsenal were not able to cope with Bayern Munich, but we will see some new teams next season who are much stronger and have performed well this season. You did sold out your sense  of humour right   I thought you would get it right a way but not bad actually  ... I don't  see anything  special about realmadrid  , Mancity  had  more and  still lost the championship to Realmadrid, fine they're  okay even without Mbappe  but everyone  seem to think Mbappe  is like making them 150% upto the task..for sure no doubt but still all Speculations  we need a proof of what they a3e actually capable of to make conclusions.

Adding Mbappe to an already tough team with a lot of potential to be consistent and continue to win trophies is a big gamble of no mistake, I mean they’ve bet well on this because it’ll most likely result into bigger success for the team. Real Madrid this point are still the best candidate for the trophy as they’ve strengthen their squad and also have a very big god track record on this competition. You don’t expect nothing but success from this team when they play. With a lot of changes in the managers of most of the top teams in Europe, one can see that the next season’s champions league won’t going to be as easy one. All this managers will want to try their best to improve their team in order to keep their jobs in the various teams they are doing their management under.

You can read the comment below and know what the person is saying but all I know is that Arsenal is not a lazy team just like what you said, the club is just being unlucky for some seasons now but doesn't necessarily mean that they ain't trying their possible best. If we compare the performance of Arsenal in the past two seasons you will know that the team have improved a lot unlike when Arsene Wenger was using the club to do business of building quality players and selling them off.
The champions league will be very Epic next season, however we can't underestimate the capacity of other clubs to win the title even though Real Madrid have the highest odds and stakes but the reverse may be the case if they don't apply carefulness.
