I didn't expect Real Madrid to still dominate the Super Cup with 5 trophies and in second place was Barcelona with 3 trophies. But for Barcelona it has been a long time and the last time they were able to win it was in 2015. It is very difficult to see Barcelona winning this title again if they don't win the Champions League again.
Barcelona was really among the dominating club globally, this is why they have been the main Real Madrid rivals before their obvious fall though they have been doing well to keep their heads up domestically but globally this has been difficult though I think they are getting better from the fact that they still went far in the recent UEFA champions league, where an unfortunate event made them lost to PSG.
Well, talking about this year's Super Cup match between Real Madrid and Atalanta, it feels like this will be the 6th trophy for Real Madrid and they can definitely win it after making a terrible squad. Atalanta won't be able to do much, especially with the increasing number of injured players from Scammaca and Scalvini which makes coach Gesperini even more confused considering the match is getting closer. But
While outside considering Real Madrid having better chances of winning base on players performance and new signings going through the Image, the UEFA champions league winners have often been the winners of the Super Cup.
one thing is for sure, Atalanta can beat Leverkusen who are so favored in the Europa League final and this could be a concern that Real Madrid must pay attention to even though they have a world-class squad.
Real Madrid will be cautious about this, they're not like Leverkusen while also most times any of the players could step up to turn things around for the team either coming from the bench or being in the game since which include tge defence notably during dying minutes.
Also thinking the fact that Dortmund shockingly defeat PSG, Real Madrid still came out victorious over them as the better team, no matter how hard they tried
