Will the presence of Lamine Yamal make Barcelona wary of the upcoming Champions League? Of course that won't be enough even though Barcelona has talented players like him. Even though Barcelona has also appointed Hansi Flick as the new coach, it seems that this is still not enough if they want to break down the big walls.

However, it feels like we can change this perception if Barcelona can reach the quarter-finals first and if they are able to do that and their performance is still consistent and unwavering then they will be a threat to other teams with the current squad. It must be admitted that if Barcelona could be that dangerous then other teams would start thinking about how to stop it.
Barcelona are a good team at the moment, but it's not like they're a completely dangerous or unstoppable team. It seems so easy to stop them. If they can defend Yamal and Lewandowski well, they can stop Barcelona because every attack is shaped with these 2 players. Other players will also need to put in more effort this year. It is very difficult to reach the old days after this time, but Barça must continue to strive for the best.
Indeed, Barcelona is a team like that, but I am quite wary if this team will be more mature next season. Of course we are pessimistic about their performance last season, but somehow my feelings say something different since the arrival of Hansi Flick. Barcelona is ready to change its fate and maybe that is also what made them want to take the decision to fire Xavi.

Being the best is the target of all teams and here it seems Barcelona has that. Regardless of Real Madrid still dominating or Manchester City who are always favorites to win the title, I think they should start considering Barcelona this time.

This season is going to be entirely different from the previous one because Arsenal will put in more work for improvement and also keep close sights on major titles. The UEFA Champions League is not for newbies but for elite clubs that have stand their ground and knows basically what they need. Arsenal tried their best but couldn't coupled up with the outstanding performance of the club. It's been outrageous for Mikel Arteta and Gunners perhaps he's one of the promising coach to lift the burden of the club since the departure of Arsene Wenger.

A lot is expected from Mikel Arteta because he’s showing the sign that he’ll bring Arsenal back to their glory days like the days of Arsene Wenger. He has tried twice now both in the premier league and champions league and it is to no avail yet. The next season stands to be another chance for him as the management are not even looking like reliving him off his duty because of the so much hope they have in him to make Arsenal great again. The champions league is showing a very great challenge for them so is the premier league with the likes of Manchester City still in their best form now. They need to try harder to get it through this time around because it won’t come to them that easy. Let’s wait to see what the next season brings for them, maybe they can at least life one trophy out of the  competitions they’ll be participating in.

Every day I come to the thread and Madrid is at the center of discussion and tournament hasn't even started yet.
Partially because Real Madrid is a biggest and most successful club in Champions League. The Wiki on Champions League history shows it all.

Yup! I'm fully aware of Madrid's dominance in the UCL. I'm a Liverpool fan myself so I know about Madrid glory days in the UCL because they took two UCL trophies from Liverpool in the last decade — most recent being in 2022. My point, however, was that only talks about Madrid winning it for the second time in a row for 2024/2025 UCL tournament when there are about 36 teams competing. I get the fact that they're UCL legends but again, other top teams still exist and I'm personally tipping another top team aside from Madrid winning it next year.

Still too early to call it but I have my fingers crossed.
I don't think there's anything wrong with trying to assume, even though the Champions League hasn't started yet, regardless of our respective favorite clubs. We are aware that Real Madrid have a very good reputation in the Champions League with 15 trophies to date, and with the depth of the squad they have built, it makes perfect sense why many people place them as the main favourites. Of course, there are several top European teams who have the complete attributes to win the Champions League too, such as Manchester City or Bayern Munich. It is possible that next season the Champions League trophy will be won by a team other than Real Madrid, or it could even be won by a team like Arsenal who have never won it, nothing is impossible and we have seen many surprises so far.

The champions league is still going to elude them if they are not in any way making preparations for it because he competition in thw champions league will be even tough than it has ever been as all other teams are seeing how the preparations by others are intensifying because the champions league as known by everyone is really very competitive. The premier league is too but facing teams like Madrid and other top winners who have emerged from other leagues is something we wouldn't want to even for any reason undermine as it will be to the detriment of the team.

Barcelona has never left the list of teams for which other teams prepare in a special way, plus in the Champions League playoffs this is true for any team. I don’t think that Yamal will affect the balance of power in the Champions League or in La Liga, I saw him in several games at the Euro and I can’t say that he has good efficiency - he is still just a talented player with a lot of mistakes (and a lot of room for both progress and and vice versa). He cannot be compared to Haaland, Mbappe or any other established player, he still has to prove himself.

Madrid are just squad qualified, from their defense line, midfielders then up to their attackers nothing seems missing to make them champions, in as much league they pertake in. Winning the Champions league sounds like their biggest threat because of team like Manchester City who is also a bigger threat in the Premier League, whereas both teams are likely the biggest competitors, lot of fingers are pointing between them both to lift the trophy. Apart from these two teams, a few teams will try to go tough, guess we never know yet untill then because club like PSG seems out of the race.

For now, we only make assumptions based on data and statistics for the favorite teams. Theoretically, Real Madrid has a great chance of winning the title wherever Madrid competes. we can imagine the depth of players they have, starting from the main squad and second tier players. That's why it would be very natural if Madrid were the favorite, because Real Madrid really has a very competitive and ideal squad. Likewise with Manchester City, this team is always a favorite because it has an equally competitive squad. Plus, City has a coach who is truly rich in strategy and tactics.

Well, these two teams are always an interesting discussion for us. because both of them really deserve to be champions, even though it's just an assumption. The reason is, the actual competition hasn't started yet. We will find out after the League is held, what is certain is that even though these two teams are always favorites, there will always be a team that is an obstacle for them. In fact, it is possible that several other teams could become competitors who could provide tough resistance. As for PSG, it is possible that Enrique can make his squad more competitive even without Mbappe. So, we are waiting for the Champions League to start being held.

The Champions League is not an easy competition to predict so far, even though currently Lamine Yamal is a young player who continues to be talked about by many people, he is still an individual who will not be able to make many changes to Barcelona, when PSG has many stars in its squad but still they just failed, then why should we say other teams should be afraid of Barcelona just because of Lamine Yamal?
As we know so far, Barcelona strength is actually in team strength and cooperation, so when they only rely on Lamine Yamal, won't that actually show their weakness to the opposing team?

Currently Barcelona has a new coach to lead them towards change next season, but will that make Barcelona different from the previous Barcelona, I don't think so, because Hansi Flick doesn't have a magic wand to make Barcelona really great in a short time, besides that at the moment Barcelona does not have strong financial support so Hansi Flick performance in Barcelona next season will be very limited, I think with the new Champions League format next season which allows big teams to meet more quickly in the semi-league phase, so it is possible that Barcelona will find it difficult to reach the quarter-finals. .

Real Madrid is the most perfect club right now. A dressing room filled with stars. What they need right now is a stable mentality, and positive mindset in all the players and they’re ready for ultimate greatness. I really won’t be surprised if they go ahead to win the treble or quadruple this season, they really can go for all the trophies that are available, and it won’t be an issue. We can’t be overestimating though, as every good thing comes with its troubles. And as the season unfolds, there will be such issues. Let's see how they battle it out.

Sure Real Madrid has star players in their dressing room, players that are considered world-class, but that should not be a guarantee for them to win the Champions League two or three times in a row; they can end up not winning the Champions League next season despite all the players they have because some teams will display good performances we will never expect just because they will like to achieve their aim of winning the Champions League. Moreover, Manchester City is another team that will be a barrier to Madrid because Pep Guardiola will remember how he got eliminated last season and will take his revenge in the next coming season. Arsenal and other teams will also try to see if they can make it because the whole teams will not stay and be watching Madrid keep winning the Champions League back to back.
Are you kidding me by calling Arsenal among the team that might eliminate Real Madrid next season. This is not EPL, big and strong clubs from other European leagues finds it difficult let me say once in many years to eliminate Real Madrid talk more of Arsenal that any team in UCL will send packing. To and check the history of Arsenal performance in UCL, you will be discouraged.

Next time, you should call teams with UCL history and not Arsenal that cannot win EPL twice when they have the chance of winning it. Real Madrid remains the best in UCL and with their current squad, I don't see any club that will be able to eliminate them next season. Ancelotti is a football mathematician.

Last season Arsenal managed to reach the quarter-finals, where expectations for Arteta's fleet were actually quite good, but in the end they failed at the hands of Bayern who were experiencing setbacks. Madrid, City and Bayern next season will be the main forces in the race for the trophy, and other candidates such as Arsenal are behind them. Arsenal's main priority is the Premier League, even though they are still trying their best in the Champions League, it is quite difficult to appear balanced in every competition.

Entirely different? I don't think so. Arteta is still with almost the same squad next season. He's only making a minor change to it. I want them to perform like last season. But, Arteta needs to emphasise that his club needs to bolster their mentality. They need it in their fight for the trophy against Manchester City.

Arsenal did well last season. They had amazing statistics compared to Manchester City. The improvement is totally needed by Arsenal, as it's on the mentality of  their players.

Arsenal conceded fewer than Man City last season. It demonstrated that they were making big improvements to their squad. Arteta only needs to fix a small issue with their attack.

It's gonna be more than enough to help Arsenal become even more competitive than last season. They're already competitive. They almost beat City in the title race. But, they lost points to West Ham and Aston Villa due to small mistakes. It cost them trophy.

It's not just Arsenal who will try to improve their performance next season, but all teams will also try to do that, but what you have to realize is that the competition to win the Champions League title is always fierce, all the best European teams will do their best here, but for Arsenal I think they Still won't be a favorite despite Arteta who has built this team to be even better, but Arsenal's mentality is not yet good enough to compete with Europe's top teams.

Real Madrid was a strong club even before Mbappe joined this club, and it was the arrival of this star player that made everyone think Real Madrid would become even stronger than the others, but in football it is sometimes difficult to predict what is impossible becomes possible and vice versa. With the UCL arrangements having changed, the competition will definitely be more difficult than usual, there is still the potential for clubs that are not highly favored to achieve good luck by achieving good results, perhaps reaching the final and of course there will be many new contestants who will make things difficult for the big clubs, especially Leverkusen and Atalanta, who last season was a strong candidate at UEL.
I hope that Mbappe arrival will further increase Real Madrid strength, his presence can help Real Madrid win even more titles. However, something negative crossed my mind, so far Vinicius has been a star in the Real Madrid squad since the departure of Ronaldo and Benzema, Mbappe's arrival will be a competitor in retaining the most influential player in the team. If Vinicius does not want to lower his ego or put aside achieving individual titles to prioritize the results achieved by his team, Mbappe's arrival will further cause Real Madrid's performance to decline due to the internal conflicts that occur between these players. Hopefully they can prioritize professionalism to help their team achieve positive results, they must help each other on the pitch to achieve their goals and help their team win trophies.

Now Ancelotti even leads as the coach with the most Champions League titles, it proves that he is indeed a very good coach as proven by his success in the Champions League. Even though many say he is poor in strategy, this is not supported by the statistics he has recorded. The achievements he can achieve say that he is a good coach. Indeed, in the game he doesn't apply many complicated strategies like controlling the ball a lot or things like that. However, when attacking, he can make his attackers very effective in taking advantage of opportunities to score goals.
That's right and he got that achievement at several other clubs when he was a coach and what's great is that no one has been able to match his success in the Champions League. Ancelotti is not the type of coach who applies many strategies but his style is always to defend and attack according to the opponent he faces. The ability to place players always makes him successful and when the players he enters have a big role in winning.

Now Real Madrid squad will be much more dangerous because they managed to get Mbappe and his presence will definitely make their attack much more dangerous. If Ancelotti can bring in a midfielder who has creativity in his game and is able to maintain the rhythm of the game then I am sure Real Madrid will be much stronger next season.

I wouldn't underestimate his understanding of the game and how he conveys his concept for a particular game to his team. He may not go crazy at the drawing board like Guardiola or Nagelsmann, but he has his own way to let the team know where some kind of mathematics kick in. He includes things like the opponents becoming tired, the few chances his team will get, the efficiency his team works with, etc. etc. Ancelotti is someone who has all the little aspects in his head and he knows when to intervene tactically and in how far he can let his team just do whatever the team thinks is right. That's a very interesting approach, but I think it is a good way to do his job. They are all professionals on the pitch and he always had a mix of experienced players and younger super talents exactly for the reason that experience will guide his talents and he is taking care of the mental state of his players. A legend!

Yes, Mbappe joining the group makes them seem like a goddamn powerhouse. Before one ball is kicked, pundits already present the Champions League trophy. It seems as though everyone is forgetting that football isn't scripted. Recall Man City's choking during previous season? Shits occur. This fresh UCL arrangement? More games and much more anarchy. We might see some underdogs upsetting things. Indeed, Real Madrid seems unbeatable, but keep in mind that element of surprise counts. This is why this sport is so nasty exciting

Arsenal just needs a lot of experience in the UCL before they can get the UCL title. I mean actually Arsenal is focused on the EPL to win the title in the domestic league but Arteta also wants great experience to continue to see Arsenal shortcomings. So everyone already knows what will happen if Arsenal will definitely fail again in the UCL and return to focus on the EPL but there they will also fail.
This is what Arteta wants to learn to manage the team well arranging the match schedule to remain consistent in several competitions and this has been Arsenal weakness while under Arteta tutelage.

I said in another thread that actually Arsenal doesn't need to chase too much in the UCL but just focus on getting a title in the domestic league to improve the mental readiness of the players and if that all works, I'm sure in the UCL, Arsenal can perform even better.

When calling teams that can stand Real Madrid and can fight them to win the champions league trophy, I don’t usually add Arsenal to that list because they don’t look capable even though they’ve been trying very well recently. Teams like Manchester City and Bayern Munich are the ones are still find to be big opponents that can stop Teal Madrid from winning the champions league if they want to for another time in the next season. Pep Guardiola may have tasted defeat from Real Madrid the last time when they met in the Champions League but that’s not also a guarantee that they’ll win over them the next time they meet. Manchester City have also eliminated Real Madrid in the Champions before and that gave them the smooth path to win the champions league trophy that season. It happens to be something that any team that gets to eliminate the other will be the favourite to win the league and that has happens on two occasions so far. This next season calls for another speculations on who will win the trophy, we have to wait to see what both teams have for the next season before conclusions can be made on that.
Last season Arsenal managed to reach the quarter-finals, where expectations for Arteta's fleet were actually quite good, but in the end they failed at the hands of Bayern who were experiencing setbacks. Meanwhile, if Madrid face City again next season, it will be the most interesting revenge match, we hope that this match can take place in the final. If Bayern appointed a better manager than Kompany, they would be considered equal to Madrid and City in the list of favorite teams to win. On paper, this is the scenario that might play out next season, but there is still room for the possibility of surprises. There are several new teams coming in next season, and the Champions League will also change to a new format, who knows that the trophy will be won by a non-seeded team.
