Porto takes revenge for the defeat it suffered against Club Brugge (0-4 in the first round). They have just won by 4 goals, without a response, at Club Brugge. Despite the difficulties they felt in the first half, they still managed to reach the break with a 1-0 lead. Then, in the second half, everything was different and they scored 3 more goals, setting the final score at 4-0.

If Atlético de Madrid doesn't beat Bayer Leverkusen, Porto will be in the next phase. Will it happen?

Porto destroyed Club Brugge who didnt even concede one goal before this. Porto and Club Brugge are in the next phase and no body expected this outcome in the group. Atletico Madrid missed a huge chance against Bayer Leverkusen to have a chance of going to the next phase.

I don't know what happens with Barcelona after this, I mean it is clear that they are not going to end up with something that is clearly profitable anymore, spending 100+ million in a single year to get players (and consider salaries + operational costs too) means that you need to win something huge, if you are not even going to next stage here, will they have a path to break even? Or is this season already a loss for them and only get worse? If thats the case then I do not know what to say because Xavi is a great manager in my mind, but the results do not show that to be fair and that makes me a little sad.

Slava Ukraini!
Damn, Porto lost first game against Brugge 0:4 at home and now they made revenge, winning game by same score 4:0 away. Though, Brugge is still 1st in a group. Meanwhile, Atletico, when you can't beat Bayer at home, you can't think about other scenario than dropping to Europa league.
But this night was great for other Simeone. Son of Atletico coach scored 2 goals and Napoli won against Rangers 3:0. Rangers with Plzen remains to be only teams with 0 points.
I already thought late Spurs goal saved my bet, but here comes VAR and there was offside. It was such minimal that without VAR it was impossible to notice it.
Ajax 0:3 Liverpool. That moment when result is logical. But it's sad to see such poor European campaign of Ajax.

Porto's win against Club Brugge is revenge well served. Is a commendable victory. After missing so many chances to score in the first half. Porto's win against Brugge has given Porto the hope to eye for the second position in their group table if Atletico loses against Leverkusen.

A few minutes to end the match, Atletico is losing to Leverkusen(1-2). Porto moving to the next phase is certain.

Bayern Munich already scored a goal against Barcelona i wasn't really expecting this poor performance from Barcelona it's only 20 minutes i can see that xavi is focusing on attack more and left the defense so open. Sadio mane could skip the defense and easily scored a goal after he got alone against Ter Stegen. My bet is still on Barcelona no matter what happens i wish they can reverse things
Champions league without Barcelona is really boring after all

Not surprising. Firstly, this is Bayern, secondly, Barcelona is under psychological pressure from the fact that literally before the game they found out that it does not mean anything. I made a prediction that Bayern would win but with the condition of BTTS, so I hope that Barcelona's focus on attack will bring at least some results.

It is an important night for Atletico Madrid. Because their fate in the group depends on getting a win against Leverkusen tonight.

They are two points behind Porto in the group now. Porto are going to play their match earlier by the way and it is an away one against Club Brugge. Atletico Madrid must be hoping Porto to lose points there. If Porto and Atletico Madrid both win then the last week is going to be really problematic for Atletico Madrid. Because they have an away match against Porto then. They defeated Porto before maybe but it was a really difficult win at the same time. As you can remember, they scored two goals in the stoppage time. This time they might not get that lucky. Therefore Atletico Madrid had better get ahead of them by the end of this week.  Smiley

1.60 for Atletico Madrid win is a nice odd to take advantage of.

@bullrunbro Yeah, Barca's really and truly cost me this season in Europe, but I might be backing them again. Definitely played far better than the Germans in the return fixture but still managed to lose. They've been free-scoring in La Liga too, so hopefully we get another Dembele masterclass, Fati running the show and Lewie getting Barca their money's worth.

Odds not too cool, but probably still worth a big punt for fans.

Inter - Plzen match will have finished before Barcelona - Bayern Munich match starts. This means that Barcelona's performance against Bayern Munich can change a lot depending on the result Inter will get.

It is very obvious actually. Inter shouldn't have any problem about destroying Plzen in Giuseppe Meazza. This will guarantee their qualification for next round. If Inter win then there will be no reason for Barcelona to fight hard against Bayern Munich. Xavi wouldn't like to tire his main players so much for nothing. Because there will be no Plzen threat below and they won't have any chance left in the Champions League also. Then Bayern Munich might even get a win to guarantee their lead. So I think this is a match that people should be very careful while betting on.

Let's see if FC Barcelona manages to keep FC Bayern from another record tonight:

Quote
If they finish top of the group, FC Bayern will have won their group in the Champions League for the fifth time in a row and for the 17th time overall. Only tonight's rivals Barcelona (18 times) have managed this more often in CL history.

Tonight should be an exciting game. FC Bayern is already qualified for the round of 16 and FC Barcelona must win to have a chance to advance to the next round. Most likely, Barcelona will win with a score of 2:1 - but who knows.

Lewandowski needs to show his A-game, otherwise its going to be tough against Bayern.

Benfica created problems for itself out of the blue, first by not making the score 5-1 and then by not realizing a one-on-one exit with the Juventus goalkeeper at 4-3. Even if Juventus had really lost with a big score of 5-1 or 4-1, I'm not sure that the club's management would have decided to dismiss Allegri, and so the final score of the match is quite respectable and it looks like nothing threatens the head coach's positions so far. At least Allegri said after the match that they were disappointed and angry that they had been eliminated from the Champions League and would now focus on the Italian championship and the upcoming match with Paris Saint-Germain in order to compete for a place in the Europa League. If the head coach says so, it means he is confident in continuing his work at the club.

If it weren't for those two goals scored, near the end of the match, Juventus would have suffered humiliation against Benfica - which theoretically is weaker.
They were happy, and that allows the coach to continue doing his job. Even so, I don't think he will continue for long, especially if he doesn't make it to the Europa League.

to win against Celtic I don't think it will be difficult for Madrid. it will still make Madrid a group winner.
but in the game against Leipzig, Madrid lost too many balls. the absence of Benzema up front seems to be a lack of support. Rodrygo, who usually creates gaps with Vinicius, must have a different role in this match.
It's not something to worry about, they'll fight back hard against Celtic.
It was Madrid's first loss of the season in all competitions, but the three goals they conceded were unjustifiable. The match had so many negative aspects. Despite scoring, Vinicius had a very mediocre performance. His scoring ability needs to be improved.

however, Leipzig got 2 goals at the start. and it was a big advantage for them to win the game. unexpected, but they won it.
Yes, Leipzig got two goals early, a huge advantage! It doesn't mean an unexpected outcome, though, I'd say the better team wins.

I was very impressed with the performance of Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel and he was very good at defending his goal, and also contributed in helping his team attack.
and Gregor Kobel also made three saves from the box, he also saved a spot-kick from Riyad Mahrez that should have been a good chance to change the score.
and I saw Borussia Dortmund perform well from defense and attack, and as a result was able to make Erling Haaland unable to score. And Borussia Dortmund also had a lot of good chances especially in the first half, and a 0-0 result they deserved as both played and defended really well.

I'm sure that not many of you watched Dinamo - Milan yesterday. The game started surprisingly good for Dinamo. They held the possession and even attacked Milan. But that was only for the first 20 to 30 minutes. After that they couldn't keep up with Milan's players and slowly Milan took the initiative. As the result, Dinamo lost 0-4 against Milan. With that result they lost the possibility to continue playing in the Champions League but that was already lost after matches against Salzburg.

Two shocking results tonight haha.
Real Madrid are a goal down at Liezpig, Liezpig 2 - 1 Madrid (HT)
Real Madrid, Leipzig finally ended 3-2 in favour of the host club, Leipzig. A shocking result indeed. I predicted for real Madrid to win. Here I am glued to my betting slip trying to understand why Real Madrid will lose to Leipzig after I bet for their win.
I am impressed by Leipzig's performance. Being in the second position of group F is a wonderful move. Real Madrid is just a point ahead of them.
Real Madrid didn’t impress me yesterday. They made a slow start to the game and allowed RB Leipzig to come onto them, losing possession in key areas in midfield. I don’t understand why they allowed those 2 goals in the early minutes of the game. Even with the injury crises in the team, the least I expected was a draw, but losing to Leipzig was not the plan. Now Real Madrid will need to win their final group stage game against Celtic to finish on top of Group F.

If Real Madrid plays with their full effort against Celtic, they will not be defeated. The weakest team in the group is Celtic. Madrid won the away match against Celtic 3-0. Real Madrid will play better and be more confident in home matches. Even without Benzema in the squad, I don't think Madrid will have much of a problem winning against Celtic. Real Madrid is an experienced team, coach Ancelotti is very experienced. He will definitely want to see the team at the top of the points table. So I don't think we'll see Madrid finishing second in the table.

RB Leipzig and Real Madrid are not very interesting matches when compared to other matches because Real Madrid is safe to move to the next stage. From the results of this match, there are several facts that happened.
The first fact, it is clear that RB Leipzig has a big advantage because it can be a club that will accompany Madrid.
The second fact, RB Leipzig became the club that managed to beat Real Madrid.

Juventus are also 2 goals down at Sporting Lisbon, Sporting Lisbon 3-1 Juventus;

Will Madrid bounce back t draw or win the tie? Can Juventus nick a draw away at Portugal? What are your suggestions

Yes, Real Madrid will definitely bounce back to win Leipzig in their second leg because their fans are not happy about the poor performance they demonstrated throughout the match. I think, Real Madrid coach will not allow such thing to happen again till the end of this season than to use all their strategies to stop them not to achieve victory from the match because they have talented squads that can handle Leipzig very well without allow them to achieve victory. I think, Juventus coach need to bring in new talented midfielders that will work with their strikers to ensure they maintain consistent wining in their remaining matches, because their fans are not happy about the poor results they are experiencing from this season.
