Yes. I think Juventus focuses on the Champions League, Sarri doesn't have a special reputation for this competition level. So, why Juventus chooses him? Moreover, he has some problems as a coach, like what you said on Chelsea. Juventus should have a better coach on the next session if they still dream of winning the Champions League.
Allegri is a great coach and helped Juventus playing so well in Champions League but he did not manage to help the club win it (in 2 failed final matches). It is so hard to say that Allegri is better or worse than Sarri. They are both great coaches and achieved some great trophies (with small and big clubs).

Sarri is lack of experience in Champions League but with his talent, I think he can help Juventus win their first Champions League after some decades and some failed final matches. If CR7 scores great and decisive goals in Champions League.

Sarri always have problems in managing his players. Last year when he was on Chelsea he had the same problem.

I think that Lyon can get something positive in this match, everything can happen in Champions league.
Every club has the same chance. Sometimes having more top players cannot guarantee the winning. We have already seen some examples, Valencia and Tottenham both defeated by smaller teams.

Even if Lyon is not strong as Juventus everything can happen on that match IMHO since Juve has some problems right now and according to mister Sarri "players are not following my idea of football"

I think they will win on 90% of cases but if something will go wrong it will be not a scandal, also if Juventus will end out with Lyon Sarri will probably be sacked.

Last year when he was on Chelsea he had the same problem. He cannot make the players to respect him and this leads to mis management. I think that Lyon can get something positive in this match, everything can happen in Champions league.

Like it won't happen in the CL match later with Lyion maybe the players will stay solid and follow the direction of Sarri to follow his strategy yes we know that Sarri and the players are always in conflict but the players also have good thoughts in CL to become champions .
Lyon are opponents under Juventus in my opinion so in the first leg this match will win.

There are tons of teams like that who shock the world with going further than expected on champions league almost every single year, I mean we do not have 16 favorite teams in the champions league, we do have teams that are better than each other but with the way draws happen, it isn't a big shock that Atalanta made it out, their only rival was Shaktar and Zagreb which I think wouldn't be weird if they got here but Atalanta is good enough to beat them and they did.

Look at Ajax and last year, they went as further as they could but this year they are eliminated in the group stage. Which means these are not consistent teams, next year some other team may do better than expected, all depends on their form and their draws of the group stage as well.

Atalanta is indeed good this season there are no popular players there but if it is solid then the opponent will not be able to topple him, it looks like a safe point for Atalanta in the first leg 4-1 and later in the second leg I think Atalanta is able to hold him to advance to the next round.
In Serie A also Atalanta is very good performance, this is what I like from Atalanta to put up great resistance on the pitch.

They have reached a lot of goals in the Champions League.
I think that if they qualify from this round the next one would be their last one because it will be inevitable to face a strong team.
In Serie A they do also great but it would be more impressive if they were a title challenger.

I will not underestimate Atalanta if they pass the next round Atalanta will also be a strong team candidate for other opponents because they are eager to reach this moment with pride.
Atalanta like him have full confidence in CL this season let's see after winning in the second leg with Valencia then who will Atalanta entertain later ??
Atalanta's principle is very strong in CL compared to Serie A.

Atalanta is the biggest surprise this season. They have proven that they can achieve a lot of things this season and it is sad that they are now title challengers for the Serie A. They show that they are "team" and they don't rely on individual players.
Yes. Atalanta showed a great performance this year even if they have no top players there. They are on top 4 on the table of Serie A, and they also have a big chance to go to the next stage of Champions League by collecting 4-1 on the first leg yesterday. Football isn't an individual game, indeed they can do everything if they play solid as a team.

from what I hear, Man City is currently filing an appeal to UEFA, but it is not certain that the appeal they (Man City) submitted was accepted because we know for ourselves that UEFA is very strict.  a two-season ban + a point deduction from the English league (if the appeal is rejected) is a huge loss for Man City.

It they win it this season I’m only guessing but I think they’d allow them to play in next seasons CL to defend tgeir title. The ban would be delayed until the following 2 seasons. Just my opinion but I think it’d go down that way.
It's not correct, no matter what happens in this seasons champions league as regards Manchester City, they wouldn't play in the next two UCL tournaments, except of course if their appeal is successful. City winning the UCL title wouldn't change this. I do not know how far their appeal case is going, but right now, it's becoming more certain that city will miss out in the next two UCL's, big, big loss for them.

It just cross in my mind that i know 2 years punishment from uefa makes Man City cannot playing on champion league next season but i was wondering what if Man City won champion league trophy this year then whether uefa still punish them or this punishment will be postponed reminded the champion should to playing again for next season as defending champion

For today games, yes Tottenham one is more interesting but I think Leipzig will win 1-0 or maybe 2-1. Yesterday surprises may occurs also in Atalanta game? Tongue
Now this is one of the rare times i give something correct lol Tongue
For Atalanta game, i do not know whether the surprise was the four Atalanta goals or maybe the goal of honor of Valencia...
BTW we have interesting games in the coming week and good revenge games in the next month  Wink

-snip- However since they have only conceded one away goal, they can always score two goals in their away fixture and progress ahead, but for that to happen they’ll need Ali and other players to step up their game. -snip-
Sure. There is still a chance to qualify for the next stage. They only need to score 2 goals away on Leipzig's home and make 0 goal for Leipzig. However, it must need a proven striker on the front line, get the ball possession, and make a solid defense. I think if Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Son, and Harry Kane can play together, they must have a bigger chance.

*It is very unfortunate to have Kane and Son out injured. Hope they will come back on the second leg.

You can't really blame Simeone imho.  If there was a formula to beat Liverpool, that was it.  It's not pretty but they got the win...  I don't think they could do it again at Anfield tho.  Grin

It will be very unlikely to see the same repeat itself especially when the opponent is a team like Liverpool. I'll admit that the game against Athletico Madrid wasn't our best performance but I'm sure that we are coming back strong. Who would've thought Barcelona would get demolished at anfield last year? While everybody is thinking Athletico Madrid is through to the quarter finals, we'll surprise y'all during the return leg. For now, I'm just going to keep calm. I know my team.

Did we play really bad or we were not lucky much. Seems like finally we got the taste of losing after long time.
Liverpool was pretty bad, kept the possession throughout the whole game but were unable to get past Simeone's massive bus parked in front of goal. Klopp got outclassed by a manager who always uses a "score a goal and then deploy the Shield Wall" gameplan  Lips sealed I'm expecting more of the same at Anfield.

but did you see how fast he ran two times towards goals? So fast even his teammates could not see him!
LOL  Grin
