I believed Liverpool would go far this season again in UCL they had been very consistent in both EPL and UCL parading a very attack minded strikers the trio of mane Salah and Ferminho who had been firing on all cylinders I am not surprised that they won their away match against a lowly rated Salzburg athough the home side put up their best but eventually lost to an experienced side.
Liverpool just waited for them to run out of steam & then went for the kill. I can see them coming very close in this competition again, maybe even winning it. They’re just too good, they always find a way.
Attempting to win a back to back CL while also trying to keep at the top of the EPL will be another story to talk about> For =now lets watch how LFC will get through the upcoming busiest period for them.The first team is excellent but am still not confident about their squad depth... Maybe they will prove me wrong.

Agreed, we are so much smarter this season. We are patient, never panic and always have multiple solutions to break teams down.
We were like that last season too, but we upped it another level this year. I have a feeling we'll end the season with 5 trophies

A really well controlled game by Liverpool. Yes, Salzburg had good periods and dangerous attacks but that was expected.
Liverpool had a lot of chances to end the game early and eventually won comfortably.
I will put some money on Salzburg to win the Europa league, I really like their style.

@Harko Yeah, hard to see Salzburg content with dropping to Europe League, they're like lions really and I like Haaland a lot, please don't let him end up at United! I know it's still 10 minutes + injury to play but can't see them scoring 3 goals in that time, not without leaving their back full of holes for Salah and co to exploit. Am I imagining it or is Keita getting a sort of harmony with Salah?
What about that goal though? He loves to score from tight angles, our Mo. But he should have had 2 or 3 really, if only he were just a tad sharper.
But yeah, 2-0 up and Salzburg look like they're dropping their heads a little, they've been running a lot more than Liverpool so can see they made the changes for fresh legs... I don't see us letting go of this one.

LFC is up by two now, and just need to control their possessions for another 20 minutes or so. I worry about Haland, but LFC is a good position now. I couldn't believe Salah missed all those "easy looking" shots (3 of them?) and then sneaks one in on that impossible angle. When I saw him take that shot, I figured it had no chance. I think he was as surprised as I was.

Napoles scored three goals, this means the group tops, the problem is that if Liverpool lose, they will qualify salzborg and napoles, How can Liverpool survive?

Inter are the favourites for sure, but Barca without Messi at 6/1? Hard to ignore and that's why I've parlayed them with a Liverpool win. Inter is so irresistible though at their best, but in any case, I still think the game as Salzburg will be the match of the night!
I have a parlay with similar games, I have Liverpool to win and Barcelona to win either halves @ 1.89 and 2.64 Odds respectively, I would have loved to take Barca to win too, and I still might though if my 18:55 bets are won... If not I'm done for the day. I'll watch and enjoy the matches.

All in all champions league has been a lot different than last year, nobody really is sure anymore about who will win which game, hell the latest champions Liverpool is not seen as a sure ting win for people nowadays, the level of difficulty between two teams got closer this year, back in the day (few years ago only) there were teams that would surely win and those 5-10 teams would win almost all games until they face each other, for some reason there is nothing like that this year, even the team that is at the bottom of the group could beat a team that is at the top and that created something marvelous for the sportsbooks but not for us because we don't know who we should be betting on.
I guess it will get even harder with stages going further as well.

Yeah, the tenacity he plays with, super high energy and chasing down like a rabid dog, that has really left his game these days, but the fact he's still fit when he does play says a lot about the way he maintains his body. Loved him too, he brought us close. Fav moment was his dive celebration in front of Moyes at the derby, you simply don't get enough characters like him these days;)
Suarez is still a very good player but he’s not the magician he once was. Naturally he’s on the decline as he comes close to his mid 30’s. I loved him at LFC, he was amazing, wish he never left.

I am going with both teams to score considering the past games they always conceded a goal.Chelsea vs Lille - I think it's very easy for Chelsea to win at home.
It will be an easy game for Chelsea as Lille sits at the bottom of the table and i do not expect any surprises in this match and what i would like to see is how many goals can Chelsea score in this match.Inter Milan vs Barcelona - Many say Lionel Messi will not play so Inter must remain aware of Suarez's movements because he always scores goals.
