I guess not many people expected the awesome comeback from RB Leipzig against Benfica in the last 10 Min.
Just have seen the whole best Scenes of the match and there was the chance that Leipzig would be win this game.
Nice to see that they in the next round.

I guess not many people expected to see 1:1 result for Liverpolo - Napoli, but they can't win all the time.
Expected wins for Barcelona and Inter made it a bit better day for me...

Nice win for Inter now they only to win vs Barcelona already qualified to pass the turn.

They can also pass if they do the same result of Dortmund vs Slavia.

Can they win with Barca already qualified? Yes, this is their best shot.

Spurs and Real Madrid are now a high risk for Juventus on the final stage if 2 Italians teams will pass as the second team.

Another interesting evening once again in the Champions League. What's your favorite goal/moment  tonight?

I think Lukaku's goal which put Inter to lead after they were losing to Praha at first. He's so much more agile now compared to when he was in Man United. Here is his goal and you can also see Lautaro's goal in this video: https://youtu.be/BigAB0UsAlA?t=523
Their goals are super important because this win means Inter still have chances to be second in the group.

Here are my predictions for today's UCL games (I plan on placing them in am accumulator bet later today)

Liverpool vs Napoli –  Home Win.
Genk vs Salzburg – draw or Salzburg  ✅
Barcelona vs Borussia Dortmund – Barcelona on this one ✅
Slavia Prague vs Inter – Away win. (Needs to close in) ✅
Zenit St. Petersburg vs Lyon – Home or draw.  ✅
RasenBallsport Leipzig vs Benfica – Home win
Valencia    Vs   Chelsea – Away or draw ✅
Lille   vs Ajax – Ajax win. ✅
Let's look forward to an interesting evening in the UCL!

Managed to get 6/8 predictions correct. Liverpool and RasenBallsport Leipzig coming short. It's funny how every other team's result is as predicted and my team's result is the one that made the bet lost. Quite the irony

I found my picks for tonight and folded them in a 4 fold parley:
Valencia vs Chelsea: Chelsea to win
Barcelona vs Dortmund: Barcelona to win
Lille vs Ajax: Ajax to win. They are always exciting for me.
Liverpool vs Napoli: Liverpool to win. Do I have any choice? 😝

Looks like your bet lost Sad Chelsea winning at Valencia was  a though one. Sorry on your lost.

Another interesting evening once again in the Champions League. What's your favorite goal/moment  tonight?

Tonight Barca had probably best match this season, very solid performance. Only last 10 minutes wasn't good, but then all questions already been answered. Despite this loss, Borussia still have fairly good chances to qualify, because they only have to beat Slavia.
in G group situation is very interesting. As I understand all 3 still have chances to qualify, and only Leipzig can be confident?

With this result, Napoli is qualified for the final stage, quite surprising for me for the turn of the event they got in the past month.
Nepoli and Liverpool is already qualified. Now they race for first place in the group and seems like Nepoli is ahead so far.

Are you sure?
As per my calculations, any two of the top 3 teams could qualify for Round of 16. All depends upon the performance in matchday 6. Currently Liverpool have 10 points, Napoli 9 and RB 7. Final matches are between LFC vs RB and Napoli vs Genk. In case Liverpool wins or draws the match, Liverpool qualifies. But in case Liverpool loses the match and Napoli wins against Genk then RB and Napoli will qualify for next round since goal difference of RB is better than Liverpool.

Nope, if Salzburg wins in the last game Liverpool is out.
Napoli can get knocked out too, so nothing is sure in that group before the last games.

It must be said it is a great finish, though. Liverpool is horrible against Napoli again.
In last meeting we lost by 2 - 0 however we were away but I really hope this time in home we do not lose.

If Dortmund will lose, Inter can lose too and they can pass winning the last game of the group vs Barcelona.
Group H is a thriller, with these results nothing will change Cheesy

Group H was expected to be most exciting as there were 3 equally capable teams in that group. But the team that really amazed me so far is Red Bull Salzburg. Haland and co. has been playing exceptionally well. It would be biggest upset of 21st century if Liverpool lost today and Red Bull beat Liverpool in matchday 6 which is going to be at home turf for RB. The winner of CL getting eliminated in group stages of next year, rare sight! I would be delighted to see that.  Grin

A goal just happened for Napoli. A surprising goal for Liverpool because like no CB was there and it was also feared that VVD would get injured (but it looks like it only hurts normally) VVD can still play.

They looked at VAR but I'm sure this one was offside. If there are any pics with that line, please link it here. Mertens' foot is in front, 100%.

It must be said it is a great finish, though. Liverpool is horrible against Napoli again.

Big surprise in the match between Barcelona and Borussia, Rakitic playing from  the beginning. As expected, Barcelona putting a lot of pressure on Borussia players. Messi and Rakitic coperate very  well together. Dembele is the most dangerous player on offense so far.
Is this match last chance for german coach?

I don't see Barcelona at the moment.
I only saw statistics that happened in the match. I saw on minute 26' Dembele was replaced by Antoine Griezmann. Is Dembele injured? Because it is not usually Barcelona doing the substitutions in the early minutes.

Yes, it seems so.
BTW, Barcelona already lead 2-0, Messi showed his magic again.
There's no way Borussia can get out of this big black hole.
Their defense, known for its mistakes, making mistakes again.
Everything is already clear, it only remains to see the final result.

@tomahawk9 the gods of gambling found a common ground for both of us LOL
LOL it just wasn't meant to be, eh? Did you watch the game? I did and it was a pretty good game of football I must say  Smiley

But, Valencia wasted so many clear chances. If they had the likes of Benzema, Lewandowski, or Suarez in front of goal, they would've won by at least 5 goals or more today...But because they have the likes of Maxi Gomez and Rodrigo (two players that should be playing in the 3rd division tbh, i mean, a football player in the CL should at least have the ability to play with/use both feet), Valencia drew the game.

I guess i'll wait for some live scores to see if i can put some mbtc here and there.

EDIT* Ajax are winning 1-0, took them two minutes to score lol

Valencia in the end will have only themselves to blame, because Ajax definitely are most definitely going to make it out of the group, Chelsea to me still seem not so certain.

It's going to be a dramatic final group stage matches for some groups; F, G, H

What a freak goal from Wass Shocked

Valencia deserves this draw, a really good game overall.
It was a match worth watching. Both team were playing football, I mean real football. Both had some good chances which they could not capitalize especially the number of Valencia was many. In the first thirty five minutes of the play Gomez alone missed two chances which were suppose to be goals.

Anyway, a draw was deserved for both team.

Watching the Valencia vs Chelsea match was very tense and the two teams attacked each other tirelessly, especially the very ambitious Valencia who kept attacking trying to score a goal and finally Wass equalized to 2-2 in the 82nd minute from a long range shot.
but it is not easy for Valencia to beat Chelsea in the second match at home to Chelsea and I am optimistic that Chelsea will win.
